Chapter Nineteen

Jungkook

"I thought you guys made a deal that he couldn't kiss you?" Jimin leaned back on my bed frame as he shoved a spoonful of ice cream in his mouth. I was filling him in on everything that had happened with Yoongi- merely because I knew I could trust him and because he already knew about the "plan."

"Well, I technically told him not to kiss my lips— but that's besides the point." I threw my arms up. "He. Kissed. My. Thighs." I said.

Jimin smirked as he looked up at me.

"Don't lie, Jungkookie." He mumbled through his ice cream filled mouth. He swallowed and then gave me a raised eyebrow. "You loved it."

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at the ground. "But I—"

"You told Mr. Min that you wanted more of those not-so-innocent kisses." He shrugged at me. "I say that I don't blame him." He said. I wanted to shove his spoon up his ass as he wiggled his eyebrows at me and smiled.

"Jiminie, we were just caught in the moment."

"Caught in a moment that you initiated!" He bounced on the bed, making me bounce with him. "Just admit it. You want him to f-"

"JK, Yoongi wants you to go downstairs—"

"Jinnie!" Jimin jumped off of the bed and almost threw his ice cream into my lap. I pouted as some of it came off of the spoon and fell onto my bed. "I've missed you."

Jimin wrapped his small arms around Jin, almost falling onto him, but Jin hugged him back with a smile anyways. "It's been a while since I've seen you." Jin laughed back.

I rolled my eyes as the two began laughing about some inside joke. When I pushed passed the door between them, they didn't even bother to move out of my way. I made my way down the stairs, curious as to what Yoongi wanted.

First, I made my way to the kitchen and placed Jimin's ice cream in the freezer. I told the workers whose it was and they nodded.

I didn't know where Yoongi was, so I decided to ask one of the workers here. "Excuse me, do you know where Yoongi is?" I asked a woman who looked slightly older than me.

"Holy— Uh, Yes." She nodded as she blushed up at me. I couldn't help but smile. "He's right this way." She looked at the ground as she held onto my arm and led me to Yoongi.

Yoongi tilted his head at me as we walked into a big studio room. "Looks like you've got yourself a little girlfriend, huh?" He chuckled.

"It would be pretty bad to get a girlfriend when you're married to someone, wouldn't it be?" I questioned him. He looked at the girl who was now embarrassed. She apologized before finally closing the door and walking out.

Yoongi rolled his eyes as she left.

"Why did you need me?" I asked him. He twirled around in his seat and smiled at me. I couldn't help but stare at his lips and remember the feeling of them on my neck.

"We are going on a date." He crossed his arms. I stared blankly at him for a moment. "Why?" Was all I asked before he sighed.

He turned back to his computer and shrugged. "Isn't that what a married couple does?" He asked me. "I mean, realistically speaking, we've never been on a date and we're married. Maybe I'm a bad husband..?" He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at me.

"I am not going on a date with you just so you can show me off to the public." I rolled my eyes. Yoongi looked at me like I was dumb.

"Jeon, it's literally what you signed up for." He stood up and walked towards me. "We're married, whether it's fake or not." He whispered as he picked up my hand and pointed at a specific finger. My ring. "Why does it matter anyways? Your job is to fake a relationship, so stop taking it so seriously."

  My mouth gaped open.

That tone was a little rude.

"I don't care if it's real or not," I jerked my hand away from his. "I'm stuck with you. All I ever wanted was a good life. Singing. I want to sing. I also want to be able to sleep next to the person I love when I marry them. How will women think when they find out I- I'm 'gay'? I'm not even gay. What the fuck will I do—"

"Jeon, Shut the hell up." Yoongi put his hand over my mouth. I didn't realize how loud I was being or how I was rambling on. "You're going to find the fucking useless romance you want and you're going to sing in the future. Just let me fucking do this to get more money for my God damn mom—"

He furrowed his eyebrows and looked at the ground. "Just let me do this for my dad." He said in a softer tone. I frowned once I realized that he was now upset. I wasn't sure how to comfort him because I don't know how or what he's even really talking about.

"It's okay, Yoongi." I rested my hand on his shoulder. He looked up at me with glistening eyes as the light shined on him. Yoongi looks different, but in a.. weird way.

  Emotions? Is he sad?

  "Jeon," He said sternly.

"Yeah?" I looked at him with a frown.

"I'm not sure how much longer I can take this." He laughed coldly as he looked at the ground. "These past few months are fucking terrible. My dad left me with a business that he didn't tell me how to properly run, and he left me with a sick mom.. Why?" He asked.

I bit my lip, not knowing what to say.

"Why did he leave me like this?"

——

Yoongi and I walked into the restaurant, dressed formally from head to toe. The emotions on his face from hours ago were now gone, leaving merely a straight face.

After he had almost broke down, he told me to just meet him downstairs at seven. I wasn't sure whether or not if I should've left him, but he looked like he needed to be alone.

"Oh- Right this way, Mr. Min." A lady rushed to get us to our booth. It was obvious that Yoongi had been here several times before.

He ordered his "usual" and I told the waitress that I'd have whatever he was having.

"You could've ordered whatever you wanted." He stated as he leaned back into his side of the booth. There were no chairs in this restaurant, unless you wanted to count the stools at the bar. The restaurant was filled with booths.

"I wanted to make it simpler to order."

Yoongi looked up at me as he took his drink from the waitress. "Jeon, it's their job to take your order. It's not like they're here to just be here." He said, making me chuckle.

  "I know, I know." I said.

Deep down, I was actually kind of curious as to what kind of food he really liked to eat.

Lamb skewers. He ordered lamb skewers.

I ate my whole entire plate with a smile on my face. Yoongi told me to calm down because we were at a fancy place, but I shrugged at him.

"Your face." Yoongi laughed at me.

My eyes widened as I looked up at him. My face? What about it? Yoongi took a napkin from the table and reached over, dabbing the corner of my lips. "There." He shook his head.

I could feel my face turn red as he looked down in embarrassment because of me.

"I'm sorry for embarrassing you." I frowned.

Yoongi looked up at me and furrowed his eyebrows. "What?" He asked. "You're not embarrassing me." He laughed. My eyes lit up in relief. Thank God. I'm such a mess.

"You're right." I heard a person say. I turned around to see someone I had went to school with. To be exact, the principal's son. "He's not embarrassing you, he's embarrassing himself."

My face fell as he spoke.

"Hello to you too, Jay." I turned back around to face Yoongi. Jay pushed me over in the seat I was in and sat down next to me.

"Long time, no see, friend." He smiled.

Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows as he looked at Jay. "Who the hell is this asshole?" He asked. My mouth hung open as well as Jay's.

  Oh shit.

"I'm Jay." He gritted his teeth at Yoongi.

"Good for you." Yoongi leaned back in his seat. "I suggest you leave, though, before I kick your ass for interrupting my date."

Jay furrowed his eyebrows and looked over at me. "You're gay?" He asked. I shrugged and smiled happily. "Gay and happily married." I held up my hand to show him my ring.

I wasn't sure why, but the feeling of Yoongi acting so protective was such a great feeling. Hell, I even flat out told Jay that I'm gay and married. It even felt.. good?

"I should've fucking known." Jay spat out as he stood up. "You've never even dated a girl." He walked away, leaving Yoongi in shock.

"You've never dated a girl?" Yoongi asked me. "You've never kissed one either.. What the hell, Jeon? You're making this harder and harder."

"How?" I looked back at him.

He shook his head in disbelief. "Please don't tell me that this is your first date.." he said. I looked at my hands and fiddled with my shirt.

Why is it so bad? I just want to find the one.

"Jeon!" Yoongi groaned. "If I would've known that, I would've made it so much better." He rolled his eyes at me. He would've?

"I- it's not that big of a deal.." I muttered out.

Yoongi reached across the table and took my hand. He then lifted up from his seat, dragging me along. He left a one-hundred dollar bill on the table and led me outside.

"We're going to make this better." He stated.

After that, he took me to a food festival and we tried many different foods. Then, he took me to watch a ten-o'clock movie where we ate popcorn and laughed at the screen for an hour.

Even after I had fun doing all of that, Yoongi took me to the park. The park was huge and had little statues of guitars, horses, random historical figures and other weird statues.

The park also had a big fountain that we are currently sitting at, looking into the water as the stars shine in it, reflecting off.

"I wonder how cold this water is." Yoongi randomly said. I shrugged and put my pinky in the water. "It's not too cold." I told him.

He nodded and took off his shoes, leaving me in confusion. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"Putting my feet in the water." He shrugged.

I shook my head as he swayed his feet in the crystal clear water, then I took my shoes off and rolled up my pants, doing the same exact thing as well. "Thank you for a fun date." I pushed a bunch of coins out of my way.

Why do people make wishes in fountains?

"It's kind of weird, you know?" He looked over at me. The lights from the lamppost shined down on us. "You married someone before you went on your first date." He chuckled.

  I laughed lightly with him.

"Am I dumb for doing that?" I asked.

  "Not at all." Yoongi mumbled.

I smiled at the comfortable silence. By the end of the night, I was happily sleeping in my bed, stripped of the formal clothes and my mind was filled with numerous things. Most importantly, my mind was filled with Yoongi.

He's so different from the first time we met.

I wonder why.
