"Stop staring." Peter scolds me.

"Shut up." I quip back.

Brad Davis is something else. Whilst I admire him Peter gives a worried look that turns quickly into annoyance. Or, dare I say it...

Jealousy.

"That's my twin sister, always drooling over boys." MJ says with some disgust.

I elbow my sarcastic grumpy twin who's walked up on my left side. Me and MJ or Michelle Jones are completely opposite. She is the grey cloud and I'm the silver lining in effect. MJ is the moon, wolves and owls. I'm the sun, ducks and birds. We dress and look differently. We look extremely similar but technically we are not biologically identical like there are clear differences biologically but yeah.

"Brad's not a boy, he's a man." I reply as Brad carries on showing his strength, "Plus he asked me on a date." I say as I flounce away.

I only get round the corner, abruptly stopping as I remembered I need to ask if Peter will walk me home. MJ is going to study late in the library but I wanna go home. As soon as possible so I can get ready for my date with Brad tonight. Just as I'm about to round the corner of the school corridor I hear my name.

"It's just Y/n's got a stupid infatuation, Peter." MJ mutters tiredly.

"Well obviously not if she is going on a date with the guy." Peter whines.

"Y/n is a simple being, who doesn't like confrontation about how she's feeling." MJ says with a matter-of-fact tone, "Brad is the unlucky guy who's the distraction for her. A distraction from how she feels about you."

"I don't know..." Peter mumbles still unsure.

That's when I come round the corner.

"Peter are you still walking me home?" I ask trying to look innocent not like I was eavesdropping.

"Yeah sure Y/n." Peter smiles brightly, "I'll meet you by your locker."

"Perfect." I reply.

Quick as lightning I give Peter a soft peck to his cheek. I then bolt away but not before I hear MJ exasperatedly exclaim.

"See I told you!"
