He left me alone to mourn for his loss,
Once he broke my heart to marry his crush.

Suddenly, I felt something in me break,
I was so engrossed in grief to feel someone's shake.

My dam of tears burst out,
As all alone in the mid-road I shout.

That loneliness was crumbling my heart into pieces,
Those I had gathered together after a long recess.

While I was wetting my favourite top,
Slowly fell on my cheek a tiny raindrop.

I looked up with a vulnerable look on my face,
As the sky started tearing up seeing my pain, I guess.

Left were me, my broken heart and its throbbing pain,
That were rewinding all my griefs cooling in the rain.

I saw a lightening in the black sky,
With which I bid my torment goodbye.

With blurred vision, I thought he doesn't want me in his world,
But how can I live without him when he is the sun of my world.

With a disturbing thunderstorm,
A clot in my throat formed.

My eyes were heated up with larynx's sear,
Along a red nose, I sat on my knees with no left tear.

I thought to me, why should I waste my tear,
For a person who is no longer my dear.

I know it hurts as hell to move on,
But still life has to go on.

Maybe there was not a happy ending for me,
Like all the rivers do not meet the sea.

I was sitting on my balcony, when it started raining cats and dogs ... So I thought of writing a poem for you guys on a break up story ( Its mine , I guess 😉) with a slight touch of personification of the raindrops...
