I had just walked home from Phoenix College, getting ready to start the two essays and other work. I was sitting at my rather messy desk, expertly tapping the letters on my keyboard, when the sound of a motorcycle ripped through my room.

"Urg...." I groaned as I slammed my head into the keyboard. "Go away Laurance." As if he could hear me, the brunette replied, stopping his motorcycle.

   "Stop what?"

"Riding that thing around campus and the dorms," I called.

   "No."

"Then at least go away." By now I was at my window, staring at the blue eyed boy standing with his emerald motorcycle.

"No can do. Especially since I know how much you love my motorcycle."

"Urg. I ride on your motorcycle two times, Laurance. Tha-"

"It was once. Good thing you're not majoring in math, am I right? Or do you want to ride with me again?" I didn't reply. I slammed my window closed and returned to my post at my desk. I continued writing my essay, almost completing it, when a knock interrupted me.

"Just a minute," I called. The knocking just intensified. I groaned, already having a hunch of who it was, and begrudgingly got up to answer it.

"Screw you," I said as I opened the door. Katelyn pretended to be hurt.

"And to think we're roommates," she said.

"Sorry. I thought you were someone else."

   "Should I even ask who?"

"No. It's better if you don't." I told my roommate. "Also, why did you knock? Don't you have your key?"

"No. I've been having trouble with it so I turned it in. I'm supposed to be getting another one soon, but I haven't gotten it yet."

"Oh. Well, I need to finish this essay. Want to get dinner after?"

"Sure. How about (F/F)?"

"You know me so well..."

"Aaaaaand..... Done!" I exclaimed as I finished my essay. "Are you ready to go, Katelyn?" I asked while stretching.

"Yeah. Now let's go," Katelyn said as she grabbed her wallet. I grabbed my purse and we headed out the door. We walked to a place that serves (F/F) and ate, chatting about random things. Eventually love came up.

"So, how are you and Jeffory?" I asked. Katelyn frowned.

"He's nice, but it's annoying. He's too nice. He won't get mad at me, or anyone, for anything. And you know I don't like being perfect. Then I don't feel human."

"I totally agree. Just let him down softly," I replied, reading my roommate's mind.

"I'll try. So, what about you? Are you dating anyone?"

"Nope. I'm still single and liking it. Although there is this one boy....."

"Who is it? Do I know them? Tell me."

"Ha ha ha. I'm just kidding." Kind of. I smiled at Katelyn and we left, after paying of course. We were quietly walking down the street when the sound of a motorcycle cut through the air like a knife. I groaned. Katelyn looked annoyed, but upon hearing my groan looked devilish. Kind of like when Kawaii~Chan did when she started shipping Aphmau and Aaron. (I don't ship Aarmau. Sorry peeps.)

I think I know who that 'one boy' is," Katelyn slyly said.

"What? No. Why would I like him. He's- he's just- I can't even describe how annoying he is," I struggled to find words to describe how I felt about Laurance. There's always the word cute, but I would die if I told Katelyn. Katelyn just arched an eyebrow. Sometimes I wonder if she can read minds.

"Okay. Whatever you say," she said unbelievingly as the motorcycle sounds grew louder and louder.

"Hello ladies. Care for a ride? I was planning on going to the park and tagging a bridge or something. Wanna come?" Laurance asked us. Katelyn shook her head.

"I'll pass, but I'll bet (Y/N)'ll love doing that." Oh no she didn't.

"Then hop on (Y/N)." Laurance smirked. He threw me the extra helmet he kept for extra passengers.

"I'll pass," I said while backing up, only to get pushed by Katelyn. I stumbled onto the back of Laurance's motorcycle and decided that it would be best to go with Laurance. So I sat up and adjusted myself in my seat, putting the helmet on. It was a little too big, but I would be okay. Laurance revved the engine and I wrapped my arms around him so I wouldn't fall.

"I knew you wanted to ride with me again," Laurance said just loud enough for me to hear. I would have smacked him, but we had started down the street. I looked back at my roommate. They were smirking and waving. I glared at Katelyn. I turned back around.

After a few minutes of riding we passed an ice cream parlor. I pounded on Laurance's back but he didn't turn around. I sighed and decided I get my icy deliciousness later.

We arrived at the park and Laurance parked his bike. I hopped off and ripped the helmet off my head. Laurance was more relaxed and took his time, pausing to unbuckle a pouch and pulling out spray paint. I set the helmet on the seat and crossed my arms. When Laurance was done he looked at me. I may or may not have been glaring at him.

"What do you want?" he asked.

"Ice cream. We passed a place on the way here. I tried to tell you but you wouldn't listen."

"Would you rather we'd crashed?" I shook my head slowly, but I didn't move. "Now come on. Let's go tag the bridge."

"But ice cream." I whined. I probably sounded like a little kid, but I didn't care. Laurance didn't look impressed.

"You don't have to tag the bridge then. Just stay here."

"No. If you don't get me ice cream I will tell the cops what you're doing." Laurance scoffed, but hesitated. "I mean, I really didn't want to do this. I wanted to be back in the dorms, but you and Katelyn teamed up on me and here I am. Being forced to tag bridges and stuff. I bet my family would be very disappointed in me."

"Fine. I'll get you ice cream after we tag the bridge," Laurance said after a minute.

"Yay!" I cheered and hugged him. He stumbled backwards, half from shock and half from my weight, but he quickly recovered.

"Now come on. We have a bridge to tag."

After tagging the bridge and a few trees we finally headed back to the motorcycle. I fell onto the seat and put my helmet on. Laurance climbed in front of me and did the same.

"Don't forget about the ice cream!" I yelled as we started back towards the dorms.

"I won't," Laurance grumbled. A few streets later we saw it and turned into the parking lot. I hopped off once more and practically ran inside. Laurance followed at a much slower place. I was already in line and knowing what to order by the time Laurance had even entered the parlor. He looked at the flavor board with his pale blue eyes before walking over to me.

"Hello, what would you like today?" the cashier asked us.

   "I'll have a scoop of (I/F) in a (B/C) please," I chirped.

"And I'll take a scoop of mint chocolate chip on a cone," Laurance added.

"That'll be $6.29. Your ice cream will done shortly." Laurance paid and we waited about a minute before our ice cream arrived. I grinned and grabbed it, thanking the cashier. Laurance took his as well and followed me to a table.

"So what are you majoring in?" Laurance asked. I perked up.

"I'm majoring in (M/J). I want to become a (P/M). What about you?"

"That's cool. I actually major in psychology." I arched an eyebrow. (You can do that in this one shot)

"You want to be a therapist?"

Laurance shrugged and scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah..."

"Huh. I never pinned you for that. Maybe like badboyology or something," I teased. Laurance half smiled.

"No. But I thought you would want to become (P/M). You have since second grade." I gasped.

"How did you know that?" I demanded. He looked startled and confused.

"We went to the same elementary school. I moved away after second grade, though."

"Wait, wait, wait. Hold up. You're the Laurance from second grade? But he had bright orange hair."

"Yeah. My sister was made fun of for having orange hair so I asked my parents if I could dye mine. They agreed."

   "That's sweet of you."

"Yeah. I was teased a lot, but it was worth it for Cadenza." Laurance and I continued to chat and eat before he took me to the dorms. Before I got off, I kissed his cheek. I quickly ran inside, my face burning.

I like you Laurance. Who would've thought you were my old friend. And maybe, in the near future, we can become more.
