The Fanfic Awards 2019, Miscellaneous Category
1st Place Perfect Score of 100%
When I heard the news about my win I was very surprised and screaming with excitement! But what made me even happier was seeing that my story got a perfect score! My fanfic competed against really good novellas, and winning this award not only inspired me to keep writing but also showed me that I'm driving in the right direction.
1 What's one Wattpad goal?
In truth, I have several different goals that outline my beliefs on this website. My all-time goal is to win the Wattys in some shape or form, or, have my book become a featured/prepaid story on Wattpad. Perhaps someday I can have my novella shown elsewhere where it could evolve into something much more significant than what it already is today.
2 What's a good piece of advice for a newcomer?
Try. Try your very hardest to make your work shine. Write about what you love and whatever intrigues you on that computer. Design your stories and make it stand out. And don't fear failure! In truth it's not easy at first when you start Wattpad, and patience could be your worst enemy in the long run. When I started out I had no followers or reads for a good month throughout 2017, but after a while I began to explore alternative ways to not only better my stories but express my work to other people. Try competitions, review books, and advertise your stories through tags or social media, and with a powerful title sure to capture your readers. I cannot guarantee that you will be famous, not everyone, including me, has the opportunity to have this type of success. But I assure you, to try. I am certain that people will see your stories, and everything that you've worked so hard for will all be worthwhile.
3 How would you handle a bully?
I'd defend my friend and tell off the bully, or get help from teachers and friends to deal with him as well. I hate being a bystander, and I can't stand seeing people being teased and mocked by others
4 Are you still surprised when you get a new vote, follow or comment?
I'm ALWAYS surprised when I get new votes, follows or comment. In fact, whomever does comment or vote on my story usually receive a message back from me saying thank you. At this point, any contribution, whether a criticized comment or vote or follow, means the world to me.
5 What inspired you to write?
Through books to movies to life, several things have inspired me to write. One major thing is the ability to get rid of my emotions. My life isn't perfect, nor is it happiness and rainbows all the time. Whenever I write I jot down my emotions through the sights, feelings, and thoughts of my characters. This aspect makes me see through their eyes as well as my own at the same time, which aids my stories in their dramatized areas. Books that I've read and movies have also inspired me. I love animal stories, those that do not, or slightly portray humans in any form or manner, like Warrior Cats, Watership Down, and Guardians of Ga'hoole. In addition, I hope that my books could be in a film as well.
6 What's a song you enjoy? Who is the artist?
I have a ton of favorite songs, but I love the French song Papaoutai by Stromae, and Skyfall by Maitre Gims.
7 What's the best way to celebrate a publishing deal?
A nice celebratory dinner at a random seafood restaurant like Bonefish Grill. Or a Gotta Have It ice cream cup from Cold Stone.
8 What is your favorite holiday and why?
I love Christmas! With the excitement of opening presents, to the food and memories we share together as a family, it's no mystery that this is my favorite holiday.
9 What is your favorite movie?
Ooh, this is hard. I love those underrated movies sometimes. My childhood revolved around The Land Before Time. As of now, I'm a huge fan of Kubo and the Two Strings, but I also love Speckles the Tarbosaurus 1 & 2 (despite how cheesy it is), Trollhunters, and The Conjuring.
10 What's your favorite book?
The Entire Warrior Cats series. Literally, every single one of those books is my happiness.
11 Who is your favorite author?
Rick Riordan and Erin Hunter hands down.

I've realized over the years that the Jurassic World Series hasn't been very popular, especially on an online platform that circulates mostly around musical fanfictions and romantic novellas. But regardless of this daunting fact, my newest story, Ripper: An Indoraptor Story has been the greatest dramatized story that I've ever written. I don't think any other story could even recreate it.The story tackles the reversal of a hybrid dinosaur's typical death, thereafter the demise of the Indominus Rex in 2015's Jurassic World. Upon careful inspection, I noticed that neither one of them was ever viewed any differently aside from being called a monster, and this aggravated me. And I wanted to know why.
Ripper: An Indoraptor Story circulates around the secondary antagonist of Fallen Kingdom as he explores a broken world of pain and violence through his own eyes. Throughout the ups and downs of a doomed life, he's bound to set forth into, there's more honor in his story and more heart in his soul than what life may depict him to gain. It's a roller coaster of a story, filled with humor, sorrow, darkness, and twists that will captivate you beyond your wildest nightmares. It will make you question your own sanity and humanity, and make you realize that life isn't just a burden or a gift, but a passageway to freedom and revival, a sign that life deserves to find a way.
I advise you to read it. It's unlike anything you've ever read before, despite it not being human in any way. Trust me.
