1 what inspired you to write?

 I've always just had the stories and words in my head and needed to write them out. When I was (much) younger I used to write poetry books for my grandparents - love of poetry is one of the things that keeps us connected even though we live on other sides of the world. I guess that connection is part of why I love telling stories. That, and the fact that getting inside the heads of my characters helps me to understand different viewpoints, which I think is a skill that is incredibly important, but often over-looked, in real life too.

2 what's your favorite holiday and why?

 Probably New Year. There's much less pressure than with holidays like Christmas, and everyone celebrates it! Plus, it always seems the most hopeful of the holidays, which I love.

3 who is your favorite author?

 So so many! Generally whoever I read last (Deborah Harkness, btw). Terry Pratchett and Anne McCaffrey will always hold a special place in my heart though - they were the authors who truly got me into loving fantasy and Sci-Fi.

4 if you could hang out with your favorite celeb for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?

 I don't really follow any celebrities, so it would probably be either an author like Peter F. Hamilton (I have so many questions for him about his world building), or the dogs and people behind darrenandphilip/the_blueboys on Instagram. I can't have a dog of my own at the moment, so I'm living through them XD

5 Are you still surprised when you get a new vote, follow or comment? 

Yes, definitely! I love reading people's comments and seeing how they respond to my characters. And seeing new votes coming in is just amazing! I'm still pretty early in my Wattpad 'career', but seeing such enthusiasm for my stories is great for motivation to actually get the story in my head down on paper (and then computer)

6 what's your schedule regarding your writing? 

Hahaha, schedule... I try to write a little every evening, but it's highly dependent on how long I've worked and how tired I am at the end of the day. At least with the current situation, there's a bit more time to write! 

7 what's your favorite snack? 

CAKE. Preferably with a nice cup of tea. Honestly, I'm pretty sure tea itself would classify as my snack...

8 how would you celebrate a publishing deal?

 Probably stare at the computer/phone for an hour until someone else tells me I'm not imaging things, and then go for a run (because I'd actually have the energy and adrenaline to manage it, and no one wants me around when I'm hyper). And then tea and cake.

9 how would you spend a rainy day? 

I live in the UK most of the time, so every day's a rainy day XD Ideally with a book, tea and a dog (stolen from my mother) on my lap (yes, juggling is fun).

10 what's your favorite movie? 

Lord of the Rings, Rise of the Guardians, Princess Mononoke, anything Marvel, plus a billion others. I'll watch pretty much anything, but those are the ones I'll happily re-watch many times.

 11 what's your favorite thing about Wattpad?

 Probably the community. It's great to have like-minded people to discuss writing with. I also love that there are so many age groups - I feel like it's an excellent platform to help and be helped by others with similar/more/less experience.
