Series promotion: The Groom's series @23amelia
1. What's is the title of your series?
The Groom's series and it's a standalone series. Each story will be different.
2. What inspired the idea of your series?
I kinda thought about it one day in my head and soon came the pilot, the characters and that's how the story started.
3. How many books are in your series?
I thinking 3 at the most but maybe 4 to keep it an even number. In The Grooms Series.
4. Is it the only series on your profile?
No, my other stories will have series as well.
5. What do you desire readers to take away from your series?
That they never read a story like mine and it's different and unique.
6. Is your series complete or ongoing?
The Grooms Baby is complete and the second book, The Grooms Little Girl is ongoing.
7. What are your future plans for your series?
I would love to get them publish and hold the hardcover book in your hands. For my others series that aren't published yet, my wish is to see them on the big screen. My wish is to put one of my stories on Wattpad paid story.
8. What would be a good piece of advice for someone who desires to write a series?
Plan your series, do a web, build your characters, and start writing.
Here are my favourite quotes.
'You don't have to be perfect or have all the answers from the beginning! The story will evolve as you write. Trust yourself to figure it out!'
'There's no right or wrong way to write a series. There's just "it works" or "it doesn't work". Figure out what works for you. That's the most important thing.'
9. Do you prefer writing a series over a standalone novel?
I would prefer writing both because for writing series, their story never ends and you get to keep adding more into their lives. Then the standalone novels, you can write lots of chapter.
10. Who is your main character? Are there any similarities between you and your main character?
The first book in the series are Tasha and C.J. Well me and Tasha are petite, have brown hair and we like to have fun with friends.
11. What does your character go through in the series?
For the first book The Grooms Baby, Tasha has a one-night stand with a handsome guy and later finds out that she expecting his baby. The Grooms baby.
For the second book The Grooms Little Girl. Abby finds out that she's pregnant before she gets to tell her boyfriend Noah. His mother ruined the surprised for the both of them.
Each of my standalone series has this quote.
'Two choices. One decision.'
12. What does having readers for any of your stories mean to you?
That they love my stories and keep asking for more. Especially reading the comments and messages keeps me going.
1. What type of stories do you like to read?
Wow, there's the MC, firefighters, mafia, sports, shifters, vampires, CEOs, witches, LGBTQ and MMA fighters.
2. What type of music do you like to listen to?
I love to listen to the music that I grew up with and country music while I'm writing my stories.
3. What is one of your favourite stories that you've read on Wattpad?
That is a hard question, I do have lots of favourite stories. My favourite one is the Mark of the Royal series by @romolavinia91. Check out her stories out.
4. What do you believe is better for a story? (Quality or Quantity)
I think some writers like to publish unedited chapters and later on post the edited ones. I'm in that boat right now, my chapters are getting edited.
5. Are you more likely to check out an ongoing or completed story?
I like to check out both because for the ongoing stories I like the cliffhangers at the end of each chapter.
For the completes stories, I would read them until it's finished. I can't put the book down.
