i still haven't thought of a title for this crap i like to call poetry. but here it is. i've been doing a lot of pondering lately and this is where that has gotten me.

sometimes, i like to think-
why aren't some people happy?
there's no specific answer for that really,
because there's too many to name.
but there are also too many reasons to be happy.
so why not focus on that?

value the wind running through your hair,
and the sun caressing your cheek
treasure the small moments you have with the one's you love
and the memories you make with them.
grow along with your experiences,
and let your wisdom be as much as your knowledge.

live your life to it's fullest and focus on the wonderful things in life
because life is a beautiful thing
and shouldn't be wasted on feelings of despair and unhappiness.
