{ASYLUM OF THE DALEKS - 1}

"Rescue me Goldie, and show me the stars!"

"Does it look real to you Oswin?"

"Does what look real?"

" Where you are right now. Does it seem real?"

"It is real,"

"No...No I'm so sorry...It's a dream,".

The Doctor is enjoying tea and a biscuit in a tea room, Willow and Alex are nowhere to be seen. The Doctor turns to his right and sees a cloaked figure with no visible face sitting across the room. No one else notices, but the cloaked figure moves around the tea room until it's eventually in front of The Doctor.

"I don't think I asked you to sit," The Doctor starts

"There is a woman who wants to meet you," the hooded figure appears to have a male distorted voice.

"That's nice, but I'm happily married," The Doctor calmly sips his tea.

"Your help is required,"

"I don't discuss my business in public,"

"I know," The figure waves his hand and him and The Doctor and him become the only people in the tea room.

"Who are you?"

"A messenger."

"Whose messenger?"

"Darla von Karlsen."

"Never heard of her," The Doctor stands to leave, but the location changes "Where's the tea room?"

"You were never in the tea room,"

"Oh. Of course. Psychic projection. Someone's sending me a dream message. Well, I hope I fell asleep somewhere comfy,"

"Do you recognise where you are?" there's children's laughter far off and The Doctor can barely hear it, but it's there "Can't remember. How do you hang up on this thing?"

"You can't,"

"Oh yeah? And what if I just wake up?" The Doctor asks as he squeezes his eyes shut, then re-opens them to find he's lying on a deckchair on a beach.

"No, Doctor. The beach isn't real either. You are still dreaming,"

The Doctor and the figure are now in the middle of space "Spacetime coordinates. You will meet Darla von Karlsen here," he shows The Doctor bright blue coordinates "Her daughter is in danger, you understand what that feels like... Only you can save her. You recognise the planet?"

"Yes," The Doctor admits

"Say it,"

"No,"

"Name the planet," The figure continues to demand

"I will not say that name,"

"Say it,"

"No!" The Doctor shoots up in his bed, and the figures voice continues in his head.

"Name the planet. Name the planet. Name the planet,"

"Skaro," He finally mutters and he looks to his left where Willow turns over in bed at the mention of the name, still asleep but clearly distressed.

----------&----------

Skaro is A scene of utter devastation and persisting rainfall. In the centre of a city, there's a giant Dalek statue covered in mould and mess.

"First, there were the Daleks. And then, there was a man who fought them. And then, in time, he died. There are a few, of course, who believe this man somehow survived, and that one day he will return. For both our sakes, dearest Hannah, we must hope these stories are true..." A robed figure wearing high heels turns to a shadow with the profile of the Doctor walking inside the eyepiece of the statue.

"I got your message. Not many people can do that," The Doctor starts as the woman turns around "Send me messages,"

"I have a daughter, Hannah. She's in a Dalek prison camp. They say you can help,"

"Do they? I wish they'd stop," The Doctor mutters as someone else steps out of the TARDIS

"Love your choice of meeting place," Willow states, looking around.

"They said I'd have to intrigue both of you,"

"Skaro. The original planet of the Daleks. Look at the state of it..." The Doctor looks out of the stature "Who told you about me?"

"Does it matter?"

"Maybe not, but you're very well informed," The Doctor removes the woman's hood and a ginger woman with a fringe is revealed "If Hannah's in a Dalek prison camp, tell me, why aren't you?"

"I escaped,"

Willow laughs slightly as she raises an eyebrow at the mysterious woman "No. Nobody escapes the Dalek camps," She watches as The Doctor takes the woman's hand in his own, then drops it

"You're very cold..." The Doctor touches her cheek to heck again and he looks around in panic.

"What's wrong?"

"It's a trap," he realises

"What is?"

"You are, and you don't even know it," The Doctor quickly backs away into Willow as a Dalek eyepiece comes out of the woman's, then a gun out of her right palm. The Doctor's is shot with a bright light and a Dalek saucer appears in the sky.

"The Doctor is acquired,"

"Suppose I'm not getting out of this, am I?" Willow asks as the woman raises her other hand and Willow is also shot, falling onto her husband.

"Willow Pond is acquired,".

----------&----------

Rory and Amy awake in a white room, Rory groans as he stands, making awkward eye contact with Amy whilst he gets up and looks out of the small window. Where there's is a fleet of Dalek saucers outside.

"So how much trouble are we in?" before Amy can answer, two doors open and two daleks enter slowly.

"How much trouble, Mister Pond?" The Doctor asks, but neither Amy and Rory can see him.

"Out of ten?" Willow enters from the second door, behind a dalek which then leaves with the one which escorted The Doctor.

"Eleven," The Doctor smiles and Amy and Rory sigh as the celling opens and the floor rises, lifting them into a large domed area with a multitude of Daleks in tiers around them, and the White Supreme Dalek nearby, along with an organic Dalek and the TARDIS.

"Where are we? A spaceship, right?" Amy asks

"Not just any spaceship. The Parliament of the Daleks. Be brave," he whispers

"What do we do?"

"Make them remember you..." he mutters "Well, come on then. You've got me. What are you waiting for? At long last, it's Christmas! Here I am!" The Doctor shouts to the Daleks and he closes his eyes, expecting to die, or to at least be attacks.

"Save us. You will save us," The Dalek Prime minister starts

"I'll what?" The Doctor asks, shocked

"You will save the Daleks,"

"Save the Daleks. Save the Daleks. Save the Daleks," Every Dalek keeps repeating

"Well..." The Doctor turns to Willow

"Save the Daleks," The Daleks continue

"This is new,".

{---------DOCTOR WHO----------}

"What's he doing?" Rory whispers to Amy as they watch The Doctor walk around in circles, Willow doing the same but in the opposite direction.

"He's chosen the most defendable area in the room, counted all the Daleks, counted all the exits, and now he's calculating the exact distance we're standing apart and starting to worry. Oh, and look at him frowning now..." Amy adds as The Doctor hears her "And now she's noticed too...Something's wrong with Amy and Rory, and who's going to fix it? And he straightens his bow tie," Amy finishes

"And she twirls her ring all the way 'round," Rory notices and Willow and The Doctor are now next to each other.

"We have arrived," a dalek explains

"Arrived where?" Willow asks

"Doctor...."

"The Prime Minister will speak with you now," The ginger The Doctor and Willow saw - Darla - tells The Doctor.

"Do you remember who you were before they emptied you out and turned you into their puppet?" The Doctor asks her

"My memories are only reactivated if they are required to facilitate cover or disguise,"

"You had a daughter," Willow reminds her

"I know. I've read my file," Darla says cockily as The Doctor sighs, walking up to the PM who's an organic dalek in a glass tube.

"Speaking of daughter's, where's Alex?" Rory questions Willow as she walks over to her parents

"River's babysitting her,"

River? Babysitting?" Amy laughs

"It's fine, she's probably just teaching her how to overthrow alien governments," Willow looks around to where several Dalek MP's have turned to look at her "Hi!" she waves

"Well?" The Doctor is now by the Prime minister

"What do you know of the Dalek Asylum?" The organic Dalek asks

"According to legend, you have a dumping ground. A planet where you lock up all the Daleks that go wrong. The battle-scarred, the insane, the ones even you can't control. It's never made any sense to me..."

"Why not?"

"Because you'd just kill them,"

"It is offensive to us to extinguish such divine hatred,"

"Offensive?!" The Doctor asks in disgust

"What does it mean?" Amy whispers to Willow

"The Daleks chuck all the mad ones on a planet, but they won't kill them as they do with other races. They respect the hatred," Willow explains briefly.

"Does it surprise you to know the Daleks have a concept of beauty?"

"I thought you'd run out of ways to make me sick...Hello again! You think hatred is beautiful,"

"Perhaps that is why we have never been able to kill you,".

A hole suddenly opens in the middle of the floor and Amy, Rory and Willow, back away from it as The Doctor and Darla walk back to it. Everyone looks down through the hole and A planet is visible, a blue shield around it.

"The Asylum. It occupies the entire planet, right to the core."

"How many Daleks are in there?" The Doctor asks

"A count has not been made. Millions, certainly,"

"All still alive?" Willow looks to Darla who was answering all their questions.

"It has to be assumed. The Asylum is fully automated. Supervision is not required,"

"Armed?"

"The Daleks are always armed."

"What colour?" Everyone looks at Rory, mildly confused as to why his question was so unrelated "I'm sorry, there weren't any good questions left!"

"What colour are they though?" Willow starts "They're less terrifying if they're brightly painted," Now it's her turn to be stared at "What?! I'm just being honest!"

"This signal is being received from the very heart of the Asylum," Darla shows The Doctor something on a screen, changing the subject as Carmen comes over the speakers.

"What is the noise? Explain. Explain," A white Dalek demands

"Er, it's me," The Doctor starts smiling, spinning around.

"Sorry, what?" Rory asks, already exhausted from The Doctor's energy.

"It's me, playing the triangle," The Doctor gestures "Okay, I got buried in the mix," The Doctor rushes up by the PM "Carmen. Lovely show," he scans a control platform the White Dalek is by and Willow walks up with him "Someone's transmitting this. Have you considered tracking back the signal and talking to them? "No one responds "He asked the Daleks..." The Doctor mutters to Willow who laughs slightly.

"Hello? Hello? Carmen!" The Doctor tries to speak to the person transmitting the noise "Hello?"

"Hello?" A woman's voice is faintly heard

"Come in. Come income in, Carmen,"

"Hello! Yes, yes, sorry. Do you read me?" The woman asks, suddenly much louder.

"Yes, reading you loud and clear. Identify yourself and report your status,"

"Hello. Are you real? Are you actually, properly, real?" The woman is clearly English.

"Yes, confirmed. Actually, properly, real," Willow tells the woman

"Oswin Oswald, junior entertainment officer, Starship Alaska. Current status, crashed and shipwrecked somewhere... Not nice. Been here a year, rest of the crew missing. Provisions good but keen to move on,"

"A year? Are you okay?"

"Are you under attack?" The Doctor adds to Willow's questions

"Some local lifeforms. Been keeping them out,"

"Do you know what those lifeforms are?"

"I know a Dalek when I hear one, yeah,"

"What have you been doing on your own against the Daleks for a year?" Willow asks

"Making soufflés?" Oswin thinks

"Soufflés? Against the Daleks? Where'd you get the milk?"

"This conversation is irrelevant,"

"No, it isn't!"

"The milk but kind of is," Willow whispers to her husband.

"Because a star liner has crashed into your Asylum," The Doctor starts explaining to the white Dalek, "and someone's got in. And if someone can get in, then everything can get out. A tsunami of insane Daleks. Even you don't want that,"

"The Asylum must be cleansed,"

"Then why is it still here? You've enough firepower on this ship to blast it out of the sky,"

"The Asylum forcefield is impenetrable," Darla explains

"Turn it off then," Willow says casually

"It can only be turned off from within the Asylum,"

"A small taskforce could sneak through a forcefield. Send in a couple of Daleks. Oh..." The Doctor stops and starts clapping "Oh. Oh, that's good. That's brilliant. You're all too scared to go down there. Not one of you will go, so tell me, what do the Daleks do when they're too scared?"

"The Predator of the Daleks will be deployed," the white Dalek explains

"You don't have a Predator, and even if you did, why would they turn off a forcefield for you?"

"Because you will have no other means of escape," The Doctor raises an eyebrow at the PM now, confused

"May I clarify?" Darla steps forward "The Predator is the Dalek's word for you,"

"Me? Me?!"

"The Predator and The Watcher will do as we say," The white Dalek speaks again

"The Watcher?" Willow asks "Oh! Me?!" she then quickly realises " I quite like that...that's good, isn't that good?" she asks Amy and Rory who both shrug.

"You two will need these. It will protect you from the nanocloud," Two male Dalek puppets come up and put a wristband with a small blue light on The Doctor and Willow,

"The what? The nano what?!" The Doctor is escorted by the two males and Willow walks behind him, standing next to Rory.

"The gravity beam will convey you close to the source of the transmission. You must find a way to deactivate the forcefield from there,"

"You're going to fire me at a planet? That's your plan? I get fired at a planet and expected to fix it!"

"In fairness, that is slightly your M.O,"

"Don't be fair to the Daleks when they're firing me at a planet!" The Doctor shouts at Rory as he gets a wristband as well.

"What do you want with them?" Willow asks, gesturing to her parents

"It is known the Doctor required companions,"

"Oh, brilliant. Good-oh!" Rory shouts

"Don't worry. We'll get through this, I promise. Don't be scared," The Doctor tells them

"Yep, not scared, just terrified," Willows cocky façade drops.

"Rory, take Willow's hand," Amy instructs

"Why?"

"Helps with my anxiety," Willow informs her father and he grab her hand, giving it a small squeeze

"Geronimo," Amy says to The Doctor and he laughs as the dalek puppets push everyone in

Everyone screams and as Rory is pushed upside down, as is Willow "Wrong way up! Wrong way up!" Rory shouts as him and Willow fall faster than Amy and The Doctor. Amy tries to grab their feet, but fails and when the beam splits into four, two of them join.

Whilst Amy and The Doctor fall separately into the snow, Rory and Willow plummet into a hole and both pass out, Rory softening the fall for Willow as she falls on top of him. Oswin watches, and quickly starts typing away.
