{LET'S KILL HITLER - 3}

"You went to kill The Doctor on the orders of the movement known as the Silence and Academy of the Question, instead you murdered the woman once known as Poppy Watcher. You accept and know this to be true?" A still Amy asks, her voice monotone.

"Quite honestly, I don't really remember. It was all a bit of jumble," Melody shakes her hair out, examining herself in a mirror as the still version of Amy opens its mouth and a bright beam hits the other woman's head

"No! No! Get off me!" Mels struggles

"Sorry, did you say she was ordered to kill The Doctor?" The Doctor looks to his right, him and Willow leaning on the TARDIS "The Doctor? Doctor who?" He's wearing evening clothes, a top hat and is carrying a cane. Willow's in a simple black dress, jewels covering the belt and a black blazer covering most of it. She's got black heels on and's holding a small silver clutch.

Melody's let go and she turns to them "You're dying and you stopped to change?"

"It was his idea," Willow gestures, walking down the steps calmly. She had agreed, but only to try and calm him down and distract him from her likely death. As if they were just getting changed to take Alex for dinner, acting like everything was normal.

"Oh, you should always waste time when you don't have any. Time is not the boss of you. Rule four hundred and eight," The Doctor tells Mels "Amelia Pond, judgment death machine. Why am I not surprised?" The Doctor activates his cane and shows Melody "Sonic cane,"

"Are you serious?"

"Never knowingly. Never knowingly be serious. Rule twenty-seven. You might want to write these down," The results come through on his cane "Oh, it's a robot, with four hundred and twenty-three life signs inside. A robot worked by tiny people. Love it. But how do you all get in there, though? Bigger on the inside?" he jokes "No, basic miniaturisation sustained by a compression field. Ooo. Watch what you eat, it'll get you every time,"

"Amy, if you and Rory are okay, signal me," the cane lights up "Thanking you," Willow suddenly groans in pain and nearly trips, The Doctor grabs her "Why'd you insist on heels?"

"Not wearing them is so last regeneration dear," Willow smiles as Melody tries to run, but she gets trapped by the beam coming from Robot Amy

"Don't you touch her! Do not harm her in any way!" Melody stops screaming in pain, but is still trapped in an energy field. The Doctor helps Willow sit on the stairs.

"Why would you care? She's the women who kills you," Robot Amy asks

"I'm not dead," Willow gestures to herself

"You're dying,"

"Thanks for the reminder," Willow grumbles "But, at least I'm not a time travelling shape shifting robot,"

"Operated by miniaturised cross people, which, I have got to admit, I didn't see coming," The Doctor adds and Willow smiles, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"What do you want with her?"

"She's Melody Pond. According to records, the woman who kills the Doctor and she's just poisoned you and you're dying,"

"And I'm the Doctor. So, what's it to you?" The Doctor asks

"Throughout history, many criminals have gone unpunished in their lifetimes. Time travel has responsibilities,"

"What? You got yourselves time travel, so you decided to punish dead people?"

"We don't kill them. We extract them near the end of their established timelines,"

"And then what?" Willow questions, not sure she wants the answer

"Give them hell,"

"Well, you won't be doing that to Melody," Willow glares darkly

"I'd ask you who you think you are, but I think the answer is pretty obvious. So, who do you think I am, huh? The woman who killed the Doctor. It sounds like you've got my biography in there. I'd love a peek,"

"Our records office is sealed to the public. Foreknowledge is dangerous,"

"Yeah, well, I'll be dead in three minutes. And he'll be sad about it - hopefully. There isn't much foreknowledge left,"

"Sorry, can't do that," a few seconds later, it speaks again "Records available, to be viewed by Willow Pond," Melody's eyes widen from her place in the energy ray at the mention of her sister's name.

"Question. Who wants me dead?" The Doctor asks the robot Amy

"The Silence,"

"What is the Silence? Why is it called that? What does it mean?"

"The Silence is not a species. It is a religious order, or movement. Their core belief is that silence will fall when the question is asked,"

"What question?" Willow says through pain

"The first question. The oldest question in the universe, hidden in plain sight,"

"Yes, but what is the question?"

"Unknown,"

"Oh. Well, fat lot of use that is, your big ginger!" The Doctor shouts, aggravated that Willow's dying "Call yourself a Records -" he's uninterrupted by Willow groaning in pain

"I think a kidney just gave up," she falls backwards into the floor, grabbing her chest and crying out, The Doctor now realises he can't pretend everything's fine.

"It's always the kidney's that go first!" he tries to joke, but Willow starts crying into his jacket.

"It hurts, so much! Couldn't it have been a less painful poison!" No, he couldn't pretend everything was fine now.  Soon other screams join Willow's and she looks up to see the energy ray Melody was in, now red and hurting her.

"Amy! Rory!" Willow sits up, ignoring her pain "Can you hear me?"

" What do we do?" there's a pause "This is me. This is me actually talking. What do we do?" Amy clarifies and Willow crawls forward, watching her Sister scream in pain

"Just stop them! She's your daughter, my sister! Just stop them, please..."

"How?" Willow cries out in pain as Amy keeps asking "How?"

"Just do it!" Willow feels tears fill up as the minutes pass and Melody's still crying in pain, but finally she's released just as Willow closes her eyes., The Doctor rushes to where her head lays and strokes some hair out of her face. Tears fill his own eyes and he looks up to Melody.

"Please. Now we have to save your parents. Don't run. Now, I know you're scared, but never run when you're scared. Rule seven. Please,"

"Doctor, help us! Willow, Doctor, please!" Amy's voice wakes Willow and she struggles to her feet, refusing The Doctor's help, she gets to the stairs, but collapses. Amy keeps shouting out for The Doctor and Willow.

"Doctor! Help!"

"Look at you. You still care..." River mutters as The Doctor sits helpless on the stairs "It's impressive, I'll give you that,"

"Get into the TARDIS, and save them!" Willow hisses at The Doctor who shakes his head

"You're -"

"Dying! I know! But they're more important, they're perfectly healthy. I'll never be more important than them!"

"Doctor, help! Willow! Doctor, help us! Please help us,"

"You are to me..." he mutters, tears slipping down his cheeks

"You'd rather watch me die, then save my parents," she glares "River!" Willow shouts, giving up on her boyfriend "Please..."

"Again? Who is this River? She's got to be a woman. Am I right?"

"Help me. Save Amy and Rory. Your parents! Our parents... Help me," as the shouting continues, Willow's now freely crying as she tries to climb up the stairs desperate to save them.

"What do you mean, 'our''?"

"I never told you my name, what was the point in causing you more pain," Willow looks up at her  "Our parents are in there Mels...Just help me," Melody nods, realising that it was her sister she'd just killed "As for you," Willow turns to The Doctor "You're selfish!" she spits as she closes her eyes, ignoring the man crying into her chest.
