----------&----------

London 5:02pm 22nd April, 2011

"And it's another beautiful day in London. There are reports of sunspot activity and solar flares causing interference across all radio signals so apologies for that," London has steam trains running on aerial tracks through the Zurich Re building and modern cars are being carried by balloons. Pterodactyls fly over children playing in Hyde Park.

"Guys, look!" The pterodactyls swoop and the children run to the trees; past the sign 'Pterodactyls are vermin. Do not feed.'. A Roman centurion in a chariot waits at the traffic lights and the headline on the Londinium Cotide is - War of the Roses enters second year. On a TV in a shop window is a breakfast television programme with Charles Dickins.

"Crowds lined the Mall today as Holy Roman Emperor, Winston Churchill, returned to the Buckingham Senate on his personal mammoth,"

Inside Winston Churchill's office, he's is having his blood pressure checked by his Silurian male nurse.

"Not too many late nights in Gaul, I hope," Malohkeh starts

"Just the one. I had an argument with Cleopatra. Dreadful woman. Excellent dancer," Churchill explains

"I can tell from your blood pressure,"

"What time do you have, doctor?" Malohkeh checks his watch

"Two minutes past five, Caesar,"

"It's always two minutes past five. Day or night, it's always two minutes past five in the afternoon. Why is that?"

"Because that is the time, Caesar,"

"And the date. It's always the twenty second of April. Does it not bother you?"

"The date and the time have always been the same, Caesar. Why should it start bothering me now?"

Churchill is silent for a moment as he thinks "I want to see the Soothsayer. Where is he?"

"In the Tower... Where you threw him the last time,"

"Get him!" the guards nod and a while later, A bedraggled figure in toga and shackles dragged through the halls of the palace and is brought in to see Churchill.

"Leave us," Everyone leaves as instructed "Tick tock goes the clock, as the old song says. But they don't, do they?" Churchill looks at the clock behind him that hasn't changed "The clocks never tick. Something has happened to time. That's what you say. What you never stop saying. All of history is happening at once. But what does that mean? What happened? Explain to me in terms that I can understand what happened to time!"

The man slowly looks up and when his face is revealed, Churchill recognises The Doctor "Two Women,".

{---------DOCTOR WHO----------}

The Doctor had started explaining what happened, but he only gets to when he found Dorium before but Churchill interrupts.

"This is absurd. Other worlds, carnivorous skulls, talking heads. I don't know why I'm listening to you," Churchill stands, smoking a cigar.

"Because, in another reality, you and I are friends," The Doctor is now sat at the table, his restraints gone "And you sense that. Just as you sense there is something wrong with time,"

"You mentioned women,"

"Yes. I'm getting to them,"

"What're they like? Both attractive, I assume," The Doctor cringes slightly at the thought of Churchill thinking of them like that but he continues

"Hell, in high heels,"

"Tell me more," Churchill leans forward

Meanwhile, in a pyramid labelled 'Area 52'. Two women walk down a hallway, one is wearing black heeled shoes, the other black heeled boots with embroidered bits around it. Different people are handing them files, but when they reach a door, a familiar blonde hands one of them a large file and opens the door, seeming to be debriefing them s the three walks through and into a main office.

----------&----------

Now, the walks Doctor and Churchill are in the senate room, The Doctor had finished telling him about 'the question' and how Dorium was now in his TARDIS.

"But what was the question? Why did it mean your death?"

"Suppose there was a man who knew a secret. A terrible, dangerous secret that must never be told. How would you erase that secret from the world? Destroy it forever, before it can be spoken,"

"If I had to, I'd destroy the man," Churchill answers honestly

"And silence would fall. All the times I've heard those words, I never realised it was my silence, my death. The Doctor will fall," he looks around "Why are we here?"

"This! This is the Senate Room," Churchill explains

"Why did we leave your office?"

"Well, we wanted a stroll, didn't we?"

"I think I've been running," The Doctor mutters after checking his pulse "Why do you have your revolver?"

"Well, your dangerous company, Soothsayer," The Doctor checks his arm where one tally mark is.

"Yes. I think I am..."

"Resume your story," And he does, getting up to when he sent the blue envelopes.

"Why would you do this?" The Doctor remembers when everyone got their envelope, even Poppy "Of all the things you've told me, this I find hardest to believe. Why would you invite your friends to see your death?"

"I had to die. I didn't have to die alone...Amy and Rory. The last Centurion and the girl who waited. However dark it got, I'd turn around, and there they'd be,"

"Doctor!" Amy shouts, hugging him by the side of the road

"If it's time to go, remember what you're leaving. Remember the best. My friends have always been the best of me," The Doctor tells Churchill earnestly.

"And did you tell them this was going to happen?"

"It would help if you didn't keep asking questions..." He looks down where there are three tally marks on his arm now "We don't have much time," he mutters.

"And these women you spoke of. Did you invite them?"

"Oh, you'd think he didn't even miss me!" Poppy shouts over to them as her and Alex walk over.

"Poppy!" The Doctor shouts when he sees her and she laughs, hugging him when she gets there. He wraps his arms around her tightly.

Seconds later, River shoots The Doctor's Stetson off Poppy's head and she turns to look at her, smiling happily "Hello, sweetie,"

"Yes, they were there, Well, in a way one was there twice..."

At the picnic: "Napoleon gave me this bottle. Well, I say gave. Threw. Salud!"

"Salud!"

"So, when are we going to 1969?" Rory Questions

"Everything was in place. I only had to do one more thing. I only had to die,"

The Doctor waves at Delaware by his pickup, and River sees the Impossible Astronaut.

"Oh, my God," River says in horror,0000

"Silence will fall, " Poppy mutters unintentionally as she collapses into River.

"You all need to stay back. Whatever happens now, you do not interfere. Clear?" The Doctor presses a gentle kiss to Poppy's forehead and one to a confused Alex's.

"That's an astronaut. That's an Apollo astronaut in the lake," Rory whispers to his Wife.

The Doctor goes to the astronaut, who is not the child version of Melody anymore "Well, then. Here we are at last,"

"I can't stop it," A woman's voice starts "The suit's in control,"

"You're not supposed to. This has to happen,"

"Run," She whispers, begging.

"I did run. Running brought me here, you know that,"

"I'm...I'm trying to fight it, but I can't. It's too strong.

"I know. It's okay, you can't stop this Willow,", The Doctor stares into his Girlfriend's glassy eyes as she lets out a sob.
