((Akemi's POV))

Akemi:*I arrived at the Afterlife and looked around. There were many people, but the one I needed to see was nowhere to be found. Just when I was gonna give up hope, I saw him. The love of my life. The one I'd go through Hell and back for. Mondo Oowada. I ran up to him, crying happily, and hugged him* Mondo!!!!!

Mondo:*hugs me back* A...Akemi?!

Akemi:*I smiled* Mondo, I missed you so much! I...*I looked at him as he looked down* Wh...What's wrong? 

Mondo:*voice breaking* I...I told you to live...I'm happy to see you, but...*cries* I TOLD YOU TO LIVE!!! 

Akemi:*I took those words to heart and sobbed* I...I tried...I really did! But...The pain of losing you...Hit me so hard...Hurt me so much...That I couldn't bear to live without you!!! I...I couldn't...

Mondo:*hugs me tighter* I understand...It's okay. You're here now. I forgive you. 

Akemi:*I closed my eyes, losing myself in him* Mondo...Look at it this way...We're together. Far away from Monokuma and his Killing Game. You still kept your promise.

Mondo:*smiles* I know...Now we're together. Besides, there's someone I want you to meet.

Akemi:Huh? Who?

Mondo:*smiles* My brother.

Akemi:*My eyes widened* Y...Your brother? *I gasped as someone picked me up* H-hey!!!

???:*smiles* Sorry about that. I didn't mean to scare ya. I just thought I'd introduce myself properly to my little bro's girl. Anyway, I'm Daiya Oowada. Nice to meet ya. 

Akemi:*I giggled as well as he hoisted me onto his shoulders* So this is Mondo's big brother. The one who was willing to make the Ultimate Sacrifice for him...*I smiled* You too, big bro.

Daiya:Finally, I meet the famous Akemi. The one who tamed my rambunctious bro's heart.

Akemi:*I smiled* Taming had nothin' to do with it. He had a soft spot for me ever since he found out I knew about motorcycles. Ain't that right, Mondo?

Mondo:*smiles and nods* Yup! I wouldn't mind taking your brother on a race one day. To see how he fares ridin'. 

Akemi:*I smiled and said jokingly* He'd probably give you a run for your money!

Mondo:I'm not so sure about that, right bro? *nudges Daiya*

Daiya:*laughs* Who knows? Especially if we both raced him!

Akemi:*My smile quickly fell and I sobbed, remembering Taka* I'm...I'm happy here, but...Taka...I...I left him behind.

Mondo:It's fine. Someone has to survive to tell our story. 

Akemi:Y-yeah...You're right. *dries my tears* 

Daiya:Don't worry too much about that, little sis. I'm sure he's just fine.

Akemi:*I smiled and nodded. It was then that I noticed the motorcycles* Hey Daiya...Up for a race? You, me, and Mondo.

Daiya:Sure! Mondo?

Mondo:*smirks* Oh hell yes! 

Akemi:*I climbed onto a motorcycle* Ready boys?

Daiya:When you are! *revs his*

Akemi:*I quickly took off. I looked to my side and noticed Daiya*

Daiya:*keeps up*

Akemi:*I gunned my motorcycle to full throttle and got ahead of Daiya, when I saw...Taka. He was covered in blood and lying face-down on the floor. I gasped and lost control of the bike* Ah!!!

Daiya:*snatches me off the motorcycle before I can fall* You okay, little sis?

Akemi:*I sobbed into my hands* No! It...It can't be true! Not him...Not Taka! 

Mondo:*hears that and stops his bike* What about Taka? What's wrong with him?

Akemi:*I sobbed more* It was just like Chihiro...So much BLOOD...

Mondo:*punches a wall* Dammit!!!

Akemi:Mondo...

Mondo:*hugs me*

Akemi:*I thought of all the times we'd shared with Taka.* He was a bit crazy at times...Like during Sayaka's trial, when he asked the murderer to raise their hand. But...In a way, he kept us together.

Mondo:Yeah. I respected him.

Akemi:He was a true friend. You know...When he found me in my bathroom, covered in blood, he tried to help me. He ran as quickly as he could to the Infirmary.

Mondo:I would do the same.

Akemi:I know. Also...I feel terrible...Because...Despite his pleas for me to live...And despite yours...I took the coward's way out! *I sobbed harder*

Mondo:*holds me close and brushes my hair back gently* It's fine.

Akemi:*I quickly calmed down* I missed that...I missed you holding me like this.

Mondo:Me too.

Akemi:*I smiled* 

Daiya:Hate to interrupt, Mondo...But two people are headed this way.

Mondo:Who?

Akemi:*I looked over Mondo's shoulder (I dunno why, but in Heaven I was TALLER for some reason!) and gasped as I saw a familiar figure. Chihiro Fujisaki himself* Ch...Chihiro!!!

Chihiro:*smiles and hugs me* Akemi!

Mondo:*walks up* Chihiro...I...I'm sorry for kill...Killing you. If you want my help getting stronger, I'll help you.

Chihiro:*smiles brightly* It's okay. I'm not mad. I'm just happy to see you again.

Akemi:*As Chihiro and Mondo talked, I saw another familiar figure. One wearing a military-style uniform. It was none other than Kyotaka Ishimaru.* T...Taka!!!! *I ran up and hugged him*

Taka:*hugs back* I...I tried to listen to you, but I was...killed.

Akemi:I know...I saw it.

Taka:*looks away sadly* I'm sorry I couldn't survive.

Akemi:It's not your fault...But...I know someone who's missed you a lot. *I smiled* Mondo! Look who's here!

Mondo:*smiles and waves* Hey, Taka.

Taka:*hugs him* Bro!!!

Akemi:*I smiled as I watched Daiya, Mondo, Chihiro, and Taka talking and getting along well. I looked to the sky* Everyone's happy now...Makoto...Do you see? This is our hope. It's been a long, hard road of trials and killings...But we've managed to find one another again. *I looked back and remembered my older brother* And Tio...Your little sis is happy. So don't worry. My heart, which was once broken by the Killing Game and shattered after Mondo's execution...Has finally...Been mended.

Mondo:Akemi, come on!!!

Daiya:We'll race ya again!

Akemi:*I smiled and chased after them* 

Narrator:Thus marks the end of Akemi Minako's role in Hope's Peak Academy.  And she, Mondo, Daiya, Taka, and Chihiro had a happy ending filled with hope in the Afterlife.

Monokuma:*rips through the ending title* Hold on! You didn't REALLY think I'd let the Minako legacy die there, did you? *shakes his head* No. There'll be plenty more despair...When Tio Minako is forced to play my Killing Game! Stay tuned for the sequel!!! Spoiler alert:There will be worse despair than poor Akemi EVER went through!!!! *Laughs evilly and disappears as the ending screen changes*
