Manik Malhotra: A 25 yrs guy who lives in Kolkata with his elder brother and sister-in-law. He works in a nationalised bank. Tall, handsome, charming and fun-loving Manik has four friends with whom he spends most of the time and they consider him as their gang leader. Every evening his friends come to his house and they spend the whole evening chit-chatting, playing video games, watching cricket or talking about girls. Don't hold any wrong idea. All of them are single, so, it's very natural to discuss girls by these ready to mingle young lads. Everything was going in the usual way until Manik saw that beautiful girl on the balcony of the opposite flat of their house. Cupid shot the arrow and our hero got severely hurt. It could have been the start of a romantic saga if something didn't happen and this smooth predicted romantic track didn't get derailed. After that? Well, the story will tell.

Cabir Dhawan: Among all four friends Manik loves him the most. The reason is his quick-witted jovial nature. Their evening hang-outs seem tasteless without his poor jokes and animated gossips. Same age as Manik. He works as an RJ and most of his mornings devotes to sleep because of his night shifts. This evening hang-out is like oxygen for him. However, recently he has found another source of oxygen in the opposite flat of Manik's house. The rest of the story is....? Wait and watch.

Dhruv Vedant: 24 yrs handsome man. He is the quietest and the cutest member of this group. Cabir says, his name Cabir might not justify the quality of 'Saint Kabir' but Dhruv's name totally justifies 'Saint Dhruv's' goodness. Dhruv Vedant is too good to be the friend of this mischievous group. Dhruv has just completed his masters in economics and is trying to crack BPO jobs exams. But his friends don't know nowadays he is secretly trying to crack one more thing. Well, again, needless to say, we will soon get to know in the story.

Abhimanyu Thakkar: He is the richest guy among all as his father is a businessman. It is decided that Abhimanyu also has to join his family business although his dream is to be a poet. In his school days, he stealthily used to write poems as his father once scolded him for killing time during his studies by writing nonsense. At his 25 yrs age, he still aspires to be Wordsworth someday. However, his poetries nowadays have gotten a new inspiration in the same opposite flat of Manik's house. Her name is......Shhhhh...wait and read.

Harshad Saxena: TV actor by profession. He is the most Casanova type among these. But his flirting and frequent affairs only remain within limits to romantic talks and dates. Don't judge him by the word playboy. In his 26 yrs, he is still a virgin and frankly speaking, he is still searching for his true match. Well, until he saw the girl in the same flat. For the first time, he seriously starts thinking about his heart. Let's hope for this flamboyant guy's steady romantic future.

These 5 friends are like Panch Pandavas (Five Pandavas). They have a strong bond that is based on trust and mutual understanding. None of them hides anything from anybody until some life turning incident happened.

Mihir Malhotra: 29 years old handsome guy. Elder brother of Manik. Works in a reputed MNC. Mihir and Manik lost their parents at a very early age. After that, Mihir took Manik's responsibility like a father figure. A reticent, sober and reserved person, quite opposite of his younger brother. He got married for just 1 and a half year and loves his brother and wife a lot.

Mihika Malhotra: Mihir's wife and Manik's sister-in-law cum partner in crime. 26 years old attractive lady. If her husband is an introvert and quiet then she is a chatterbox. Perhaps God tied them in a marriage bond to balance their nature. Because after marriage, if Mihika has become a bit matured then Mihir turned to an ambivert. Manik is her best friend and she often gets bias for him. A housewife and excellent cook.

Nandini Murthy: A headstrong, feminist and a bit narcissist girl of 22 years. She thinks girls are superior in every aspect from the boys and they should admit this truth. Working as an accountant in the Municipal corporation. Lives with her 4 friends in a flat as a paying guest. She has short height with beautiful features and long straight hair. Her parents live on the outskirt of Kolkata. To avoid the daily travel by public transport, she has chosen to live in proper Kolkata. That doesn't mean she doesn't miss her family. She is her parents only child and always misses their love and affection. As a result, she tries to spend the weekend with her parents in her house. Saturday and Sunday are her holidays. Her routine life was going in its conventional way till a boy from the opposite house created a hustle-bustle in her life. What kind of hustle-bustle? We will see in their unusual story.

Navya Naveli Naik: Because of her name, friends call her N cube. She doesn't care about this teasing because she considers her name unique like Kareena Kapoor Khan...triple K. A full-time drama queen with lots of mischief in her mind. Big fan of film star Akshay Kumar. Same age as Nandini and perhaps the best confidant of hers. She works in a kindergarten school as a teacher. Lives as paying guest with Nandini and the other 3 girls. She never considers her black and white life boring as she believes boredom is in our head. A happy heart and energetic mind can turn every gloomy situation into colourful. Perhaps this mindset of hers attracted Navya to that boy whom she first saw in the opposite house of their flat. Will their story proceed further or will stick to only long-distance signals?

Mukti Vardhan: The most boisterous and hoyden girl of the group. 23 years old. She is a Rock singer and looks like that only. Every alternative month she changes her hair colour as she thinks life is boring so, it has some continuous change. She sings in a bar and trying to launch her first album as soon as possible. Currently living with her 4 friends and often irritates them with her clumsy habits. Who imagined that this bohemian girl can be trapped in the love of a poet? Well, it is said love is weird. At least Mukti justifies it.

Aliya Rawat: She is an aspiring model of 21years old and the youngest in the group. She is the best friend of Mukti despite being totally opposite to her nature and looks. Fashion is her ultimate mantra and fitness is her fetish. Her days start with healthy green tea and end with Ayurveda night masks. Her parents live in Kanpur. However, she is doing her graduation from Kolkata. All was going well until she met that shy boy and fell in love. The rest is....we will see soon.

Soha Khurana: 24 years old. Works in a call centre as a supervisor and lives in a flat with her 4 friends. Very reserved and mature. Nandini obeys her words the most though she is only 2 years elder than her. Soha is an orphan and has been working since her mid-teenage. Perhaps the harshness of life has made her realistic and grounded. Love always takes a backside in her life as she believes life has more priorities and love is a luxury for the people like her. Will anyone come to her life to nullify this philosophy? We hope so.

These 5 friends cum flatmates are like five different flowers in a vas. Each of them has different colour, fragrance and beauty. They fight, they laugh and they share each and every moment of happiness and sorrow with each other. What happens when some new people enter their mind and heart? Will they remain the same...clustered in a vas or will scatter in different ways?

So, these are the main characters of the story. Some small and relevant characters will be introduced later as the story will proceed.
