Song for the Day: Choked Out by the Mountain Goats

Haven't been writing/drawing consitently in a month which is why my emotions look like a goddamn sine curve right now. We had dungeons and dragons for nine hours two weeks ago though and I drew the whole time including three frames out of a PMV for the song Choked Out by the Mountain Goats. Always hip to find music for my main girl, Arxyaa Cnidarae (she's a dragonborn but kind of a weird take where dragonborn are more like spawn of a dragon, she lived in a village of lesbians like herself based on the New Mexico Whiptail, except they don't reproduce, so like if the New Mexico Whiptails were all ants in a colony? Weird shit). Arxyaa is out tryna get cash to pay the bills at home and she's emotionally cold and distant but her deadpan sense of humor and constant attempts to intimidate everyone she comes into contact with have somehow earned her a reputation in the team as both the muscle and as an important member who cares deeply but is bad at showing it.

so arxyaa got hit with a mind control spell once and this was the encounter that got our first party member killed because someone healed the fighter (heath) in this scene from arxyaa's attacks and meanwhile the main baddie killed our warlock. 

arxyaa has two girlfriends and they don't talk to her anymore. she brings the money in and leaves again 

Arxyaa, like most of the other party members, is connected by visions to one of the elder gods that currently threatens the plain. (Shoutout to our DM for being cool as fuck.) Aeldar is associated with mist and most of their visions involve Arxyaa's whole village going to sleep and never waking up again. Arxyaa usually hits her way through problems but she's scared shitless of Aeldar and doesn't really have any way to vent this but it's ok I Love Her
