I walked inside the huge entrance of the school, my feet taking monumental steps to the staircase as my long bob hair danced in the air and a boring looking grey coloured backpack hung from my back. My hands tried to pull my skirt every time it lifted after being disturbed by my huge steps.

"Why are the school skirts so fucking tiny?" I muttered under my breath, frustrated by its misbehavior.

"Hey Young-Hee!" A voice called me from beside.

I turned to the side to look at Yuri running and catching up with me and placing a hand around my shoulder with a radiant smile.

"Morning." I greeted her nonchalantly before moving away her hand.

"Are you prepared for the test today?" She asked me.

"As I'll ever be."

"G-Good morning, sunbae-nim!" A voice greeted me and I turned to meet Maria wishing me with a nervous look on her face. I greeted her back with a small nod as well and reached my locker. I walked to it and kept all the things inside except the books I'll be needing for the first period.

The first few periods went well and at last the period arrived which everybody feared to confront. Math. Everyone's face turned pale while holding the math book in their hands, memorising all the formulas in a hurry. Some were preparing themselves to cheat while others were lost inside their book, paying no attention to what was happening in their surroundings. Beside me was Yoongi, who was sitting nonchalantly, different from everyone present in the classroom. He had made himself comfortable in the seat as he laid back and stared at the class as if it was a television program.

"Planning to fail in the math test?" I mocked him without facing him as I focused on my book and fiddled with the ball-point pen I had between my fingers.

"Why do I need to prepare for it when I know I'll get higher marks than the topper?" He scoffed.

"You're never going to top me." I replied with my teeth gritted.

"It always has been the same. You're trying to scare me with these pathetic words but always being lower than me." He responded with no emotion in his eyes.

"You-" Before I could protest against him, the math teacher entered the classroom, making everyone go quiet and shoving their math books far aside from them.

"Okay, class! Ready for the test?" The teacher asked us and everyone answered a 'yes' yet showed no enthusiasm showed in their voice.

The teacher then distributed the papers to every student in the class.

"20 minutes." She spoke while she stared at her watch and soon the class focused on their papers with their head dug inside the paper and their hand scribbling on it. The subject teacher had taken a seat on the teacher's desk and had her head faced downwards and nodding from time to time.

As I was busy solving the equations, I felt someone kick my legs from below. I decided to ignore it and continued to write as the time was ticking away. Again, I felt another kick and this time it was harder than before. My brows furrowed thinking who had the dare to kick me. I looked up from the paper and glanced at everyone, only to find them busy in their writing. My eyes drifted to Yoongi in suspicion as he was the only one who sat beside me. He was the same as the others, his head dug inside the paper while he wrote.

Knowing something was off with him, I pretended to write while my eyes stayed focused downwards. After a few minutes, a leg came over me and was going to hit me when I dodged it off. My lips turned to a smirk as I looked towards Yoongi only to find him glaring at me.

Knew it.

I gave him an innocent smile and continued writing. But again his leg came swinging towards me, ready to hit me yet I dodged it again but this time, I hit his leg from backwards. He winced in pain but charged his leg towards me, determined to hit me. I used the same technique once again to hit him.

"Ow!" He exclaimed in pain, breaking the silence which was maintained for a while now. Everyone's gaze was now on us, including the subject teacher's.

"May I know what's going on there?" The teacher looked at us with her sharp eyes darting at us.

"He hit me with his leg!" I complained as I pointed at him.

"You hit me too."

"But you hit me first, you idiot!"

"Silence!" The teacher slammed her hands onto the table, making us turn our head towards her. "This is supposed to be a math test, not a footsie session!" We both stood with our hands on the back and head facing downwards. She exhaled sharply and continued, "We'll continue the test after lunchtime." She told us and left the classroom, leaving everyone in utter shock.

Everyone sighed in relief, knowing they won't have to give the test until lunch time has ended.

"Boy, you did great!" Taehyung told Yoongi from the back and patted his back, being proud.

"I did nothing." He shrugged and laid on the chair.

"For you, she postponed the test!" I gritted my teeth and shook my head, being pissed.

"It's a good thing, Young-Hee. There's nothing to be angry about." Yuri told me, trying to calm me down.

"No, it's not! Only if you wouldn't have kicked me, the test would've been finished by now and the math teacher wouldn't be furious at us!" I yelled at him as I stood up from my chair and glared at him.

"You should've concentrated on your writing instead of kicking me back. Even monkeys are more intelligent than you." He shook his head and kept on sitting as he calmly spoke everything.

"Are you comparing me with a monkey?! Then cats are cuter than you! At least they come to me whenever I call them! You still haven't changed!"

"Ha! As if I'll change for you." He scowled as he looked at me in disgust.

By this time, everyone's attention was on us while we continued bickering like a cat and dog, unaware of the ruckus we were causing in the class.

"You-"

The school bell interrupted us with its loud ringing and the class began to chatter as one by one went out of the class to fulfill their tummy's wish.

"Young-Hee!" The math teacher called me while I was exiting the classroom after the school hours. I walked towards her who was standing near the teacher's desk with a bundle of test papers.

"Help me get these papers to the staff room." She told me as she sorted out the papers, giving me a pile of papers to take it to the staff room.

"Umm, Miss Lee!" I called her as I faced the ground.

"Yes?"

"I apologize for earlier, I didn't mean to cause trouble for you. Please forgive me." I bowed after I said my apology to her, expecting a pardon.

"You're forgiven. But be sure to be careful next time. I'll get going then and take these papers to the common room!" With that, she exited the classroom, leaving me as the only one left in this class.

I couldn't understand why she gave me such a big pile of papers to carry. It sure was too much for me to carry.

I shook all the thoughts off and struggled to get the papers on my hands. After a while of trying to take the papers from the table to my hands, I succeeded in it but this time, the papers didn't seem to be happy being in my hands as the top of them started to move left and right as to their wish. As for me, I had to follow their instructions once moving to the left and then to the right. After a while of them playing left and right with me, they finally settled in one position.

Slowly and cautiously, I started walking with my eyes on top of the papers which towered over my head. I stepped out of the classroom and continued to walk through the hallways when my foot stumbled upon something, making me lose my balance and face plant.

But to my surprise, I didn't find myself on the ground. I looked at the side to find someone holding the papers, blocking the chances of my fall. As I moved my head to see the person, I found a boy with a lean figure who was struggling with the papers. I gathered myself up and tried to get the papers in position.

"Thank you for the help. And I'm so sorry for troubling you. I should get going now." I told him as I walked past him and carried on with the work I had to do.

"I can help you with those papers! They seem pretty heavy to be handled by you." The boy said from the back and I heard footsteps approaching me from behind and soon he showed up in front of me.

I agreed on it as it sure was too much for me to handle so he took half of it from my hand, giving me access to see my surroundings as well as the boy.

He was not much taller than me and had a baby-like face with chocolate brown coconut hair with a small parting in the mid. He didn't look like the other boys who tried to look like some gang members but like a normal teacher's pet. Then it hit me.

"You're 'The Park Jimin' from my class!" I said once I recognized him.

"O-oh Young-Hee!" He exclaimed as he was unable to think what to do.

"It's okay just go on with the casualties." I shrugged and continued to walk. He fastened his pace and managed to walk beside me.

"These are the today's test papers right?" He asked and I nodded in agreement.

"So where do we need to get these?"

"The staff room. Miss Lee was pretty irritated at me for the trouble I caused earlier so she gave me this huge pile of papers to get there."

"Ah, she can be trouble at times." He shook his head in her strictness.

Park Jimin, also known as 'The teacher's pet' is really popular in the whole school. Being a looker with good behavior gained him popularity over the whole school, making him the class president for three consecutive years. Girls swooned over his charming personality and Yuri was one of them. While everyone appreciated his presence, they feared me for my blant and straightforward persona, including him.

I knew him through Yuri. She fangirled about him basically every day.

'So why not talk to him and try to get these two closer?' The voice in my head spoke as I agreed to it, earning a sly smile from myself.

I turned to him, only to find him smirking by himself. My eyebrows scrunched downwards at his weird behavior.

"What happened?" I asked him with a glare.

He turned to me, his innocent face returning back and gave me a small smile before speaking, "I-Its nothing."

We continued to talk the normal conversation and walked to the staff room and soon reached and placed all those papers on the table.

"I should get going now, it's pretty late." I said.

"Yeah, you should. I was saying... if you would come at my place tomorrow or some other day. It'll be great if you could help me out in studying." He told me with his innocent smile plastered on his beautiful face.

As if I'll come.

"It'll be better if you try to come at my place. It's you who's seeking help." I replied to him straightaway without beating around the bush.

"A-ah, yeah sure, I will." He seemed to be taken aback from my reply.

With that, we both said our goodbyes and headed straight to our places.

Overall, my plan was going to the right path. But one thing kept on bugging me. His smirk.
