It was love at first sight. I spotted him as he walked towards me, his gray hair moving like waves in the wind, his electric blue eyes gazing intensely at me, his flawless, smooth-looking skin, the small smile he just shot me...

Yeah, no. 

He's a good looking guy, while I'm an ugly potato. We'll never talk, never meet, never do anything.

I am not a believer of love at first sight. 

Am I in love with his features? 

Heck yeah I mean look at him! He has such a nice face!

Hm, I should call him that...

Mr. Nice Face. I think that has quite a ring to it.

But am I in love with the guy himself? Nope. How can I be? There is no type of relationship behind us, at all.

So we'll just walk on by each other, maybe exchange a small smile or a little tip of the head in acknowledgement, he could be a perv and look at my non-existent butt, I will pretend not to notice if he does, and we'll go about our business to never see each other again.

*Three months later*

The door chimed and I looked up to greet my next customer, but stopped short. My mouth fell open and I gasped.

Mr. Nice Face just walked into the café, again!

I thought I would never see him again!

Huh, I guess it's a small world after all.

"Naria!" a familiar voice called.

Huh?

I blinked and turned to see my supervisor, Devin, waving me over. My legs walked me over to him and I gave him a salute.

He just rolled his eyes and gestured towards someone who I had not noticed was beside him until now.

It was Mr. Nice Face!

Devin looked us over with a quirked eyebrow before he said, "Naria, this is Andre. Andre, this is Naria. Naria, because of your excellent service and ability to make even the pickiest customer satisfied, you have been chosen by me to show Andre the ropes around this place. He will be your apprentice."

My mouth opened and I answered before my mind processed what was coming out of it.

"Oh, okay." 

Wait what?!

My eyes widened and my jaw dropped.

Devin grinned, somehow oblivious of my surprise. 

"Great! Your first training session starts right now, don't disappoint!"

With that, he walked away and left me with Mr. Nice Face.

I turned to Mr. Nice Face, I mean Andre, and waved slowly at him as awkwardness flitted it's way into my brain.

Fudge.

FUDGE!
