Bright's POV

A smile plastered on my face as i enter our room. I directly went to my seat and put down my bags. Its around 7am and I'm not so late yet not so early too. Just in time.

I pull out my phone with the smile still on my face. As I open my messenger, I saw Ianna's message on top of Xavi's good morning.

I tap on Ianna's name and replied to her message which is asking if I'm already at the school.

"Who's that? Your Xavi again?" Noah suddenly ask, peaking on my phone when I immediately hide it.

"Damn bro, don't tell me you two are having seggs in the morning. Your conversation really needs some prayers." He said and I laughed.

"Hell no, we're not. Tsaka hindi naman si Xavi ang kausap ko." I said and his eyes squinted.

"What? Then who?" He ask and I hsut chuckled.

"Ikaw naman Noah, parang hindi kana sanay sa kaibigan natin. Matinik yan sa babae bro." Marc suddenly said. Coming out from Noah's back, putting his arm on our friend's shoulder.

Noah scoffed, "Shut up, I'm just curious who is he talking to." Noah said, I chuckled and shake my head.

"No matter how many girls slide through my messages. You know I only belong to one girl." I said and Noah's brows furrowed. Marc squinted his eyes at me when Luke suddenly appeared in front of me.

"Wait wait, Ianna? You're still talking to her through chats?" Luke said and I smiled.

"Bakit naman hindi?" I said and the eyes of them three widened.

"Gago Bri, paano ka makaka move on niyan? Kung patuloy kayong mag-uusap through chats?" Marc said and I laughed at their reaction.

I raised my left eyebrow. "Move on saan?" I said and Noah squinted his eyes.

"From your break up-

"Ooh! Gago Bri! I already know this! You two are back together?!" Marc said, cutting of Noah's words.

I chuckled and sigh before leaning on my chair rest.

"Ano pa nga ba?" I said giving them a playful smile.

I hear Noah flick his tongue.

"Darn it Bri, akala ko ba.. you're done with her? I thought you're sick of her behavior? Anong nangyari? Whats with the sudden decision of you coming back to her?! Did you beg or something? Cause that would be stupid if you did." Noah said and after he finished his words I burst into laughter.

"Gago, dahan dahan lang pre, one question at a time." I joked and look sigh and shake his head.

"Whats with the sudden decision at naging kayo ulit?" He ask and I just shrug.

"I don't know," I replied and I hear him sigh.

"Did you beg or ask her to come back at you?" He ask and I shake my head.

"No i didn't, it was her who ask me to come back at her." I said and he slowly nods.

"Sabi ko na sayo pare, malakas yang kaibigan natin na yan." Marc said shaking Luke's shoulder.

"Why? Isn't she with the STEM guy?" Luke said and I look at him with bored expression.

"He was being a piece of shit." I said and I hear Marc's silent 'ooh', I look at Luke.

"He was being a fucker and a bullshit." I added, as I started to get pissed with just the thought of him, shouting and arguing with her.

God, I can't even shout at anyone. I may be burning mad but I can never shout to a girl.

"Why? How can you say that?" Luke ask and I gritted my teeth.

I took a deep breath "Well, nagsumbong si Ianna, she told me he shouts back at her and argue with her." I explained, my fist turning into a ball.

"Oh, pre kalma. Nag ke-kwento ka lang. Baka masuntok mo si Luke." Marc said and I chuckled.

"No, I'm fine. Its just.. I cant believe he can do that. He's what? A future doctor, engineer and anything you can get in STEM yet he acts like a.. mother fucker." I said and Noah laughed.

"Okay okay, we get it. You just want the best for her. Kaya ka bumalik sa kaniya? And you're still willing to.. be back on you two's old routine? Hindi ka nanaman makakasama sa amin? Sa mga gala?" Noah ask and I chuckled.

"Gumagala pala tayo?" I ask and I heard the other two laugh.

Noah chuckled, "I mean, you can't hang out with us anymore? Kailangan mo na ulit sumunod-sunod sa kaniya?" He ask and I just shrug.

"By the way Bri, kailan pa? Kailan pa kayo nagkabalikan?" Marc ask and I smiled.

I took a deep breath, "Last week," I replied and I hear Luke gasp from behind me when Noah look at me with wide eyes.

"Seryoso ka Bri?! A week and yet ngayon lang namin nalaman? As your friend we feel so dumb. So its been a week na nagbalikan kayo? Wow." Noah said and I burst into laughter.

"We're surprised though that you were still able to hang out with us kahit kayo na ulit." Luke said and i nod.

"Sa simula lang yan, saka-saka, lagi nanaman niyang hahatakin si Bri papalayo sa atin." Marc said and I shake my head while laughing.

"And Xavi?" Noah suddenly ask, I squinted my eyes and adjusted my seat.

"Oh? Whats with her? What's with Xavi?" I ask,

"You still talk to her?" Noah said and I slowly nod.

"Apparently yes, and whats wrong with it?" I ask,

Noah sigh, "Kayo na ulit ni Ianna but you still talk to her?" Noah said and I nod.

"Alam na niya na kayo na ulit." He ask and I slowly nod.

"Nope, no need naman. Why does she have to know?" I ask and Noah tilts his head and hiss.

"Well, apparently you need to tell her cause what you are doing is cheating. Or two timing." Noah said and I squinted my eyes.

"How did it become two timing?" I ask,

"Bri, of course, you have Ianna again, and yet you're still talking to her." Noah said and I squinted my eyes.

"Pero me and Xavi don't have anything? We are just friends." I said and Noah nods.

"Fine, fine, just.. just at least inform her about your current status, okay?" Noah said and I just nod.

"I feel like she'll get hurt." Luke said and I look at him and squinted my eyes.

"What makes you think of that?" I ask,

Luke look at me and shrug, "Well, girls tend to fall in love.. easily? Not all, but.. I think she already fell for you. And.. if she finds out that you and Ianna are back, she'll get hurt." She said and I just sigh.

"Well.. we can't do anything about it." I said and look at Luke.

"You want her? Reto ko sayo?" I ask and his eyes widened.

"What? No, no thank you." He replied and we laughed.

Few minutes later Ianna and her friends entered the classroom. As she entered our eyes immediately met. I smiled at her and she smiled back. Tucking in her hair behind her eyes which I find attractive.

"Oh, she's here." Noah mumbled and I nod.

"I know," I said and just silent chuckle while shaking my head and paying attention to what I'm doing on my phone.

Few minutes later the classes started, it was fun and all. Or maybe I'm just  in the mood cause she's just behind us.

When she answered during the recitation  I get to her her soft and calm voice.

Damn, how the fuck does that guy can shout at that kind of voice? She must be really scared and sad during the time that STEM guy is shouting at her.

When recess came, of course I went with my friends. She went with her friends as well anyways. So it wasn't a problem. I wish this goes on and on. Not like before, well before even from the start of our relationship she would ask me to go with her everywhere.

I hope this time, that she don't drag me everywhere she goes.

"Himala, she really didn't steal you from us." Luke said before taking a bite of his sandwich. I laugh and swallowed my food

"Yeah, maybe she did change." I said and I hear Noah chuckle.

"Maybe she really realized that what she have been doing to you is wrong." Luke said and I just shake my head.

"Watch what you're saying, she's now my girlfriend once again." I said and take a bite of my sandwich.

"Well geez, I didn't say anything." He said and I just laughed. When we finished our foods we went back to our classroom to prepare to go to the computer room. While I'm searching for my math notebook Ianna accidentally bumped on my chair.

"Oh, sorry." She softly said and I just smiled.

"No it's okay, it's fine." I said and leave the classroom. Walking through the hallway with my friends. As we are walking, I felt the look of the three at me.

I look at them and squinted my eyes.

"What?" I ask,

Luke chuckled, "No it's okay, it's fine." He said, mocking what i said awhile ago, I chuckled and rolled my notebook before hitting him at his legs playfully.

"Ah! Aray! Masakit yon pre!" Luke said while massaging his thigh part that I hitted.

I chuckled, "Awan ko sa inyo." I said and continue to walk and entered the computer room.

Then I realized, I think it's really better if we don't do the things we did before. Too much show of affection in public? Heck, even our teacher know about our relationship before. I guess we should really stay on flirting through chats than doing too much showing affection to everyone.

When our math class started, I'm in the mood. Starting we got back together, I was always on the mood. Of course who wouldn't be knowing that you and your ex are back together.

Not like when we just broke up. I feel so.. down. I feel so.. unmotivated and lifeless. I feel like I'm not in the mood of doing anything.

Of course I lost her that time. The girl that I'm really in love to. I don't know how I fell in love to her that deep. I just know.. that I'm smiling whenever I'm looking at her or whenever we are talking through chats.

Thats when I still haven't confessed to her. And after weeks of gathering all  the courage, I finally did it. I confessed to her. And when she told me she likes me too.

I felt electricity all over my body that time. I remember how my friends reacted the time I told them she likes me too. Cause they also know that I like her. And of course.. teenagers. They kept on teasing and teasing me to her. Until we got together..

"Mr. Nañagas, whats the answer for number 4?" My head snap in front of the teacher. I left my day dreaming world and went in front of the  class to answer the number 4.

"Very good Mr. Nañagas, i thought you weren't listening. I saw you staring at the wall. Very good." She said and I smiled before walking towards my friends.

I smiled at them and Marc elbowed me at my thigh.

"Iba talaga, lutang yon. Pero nakasagot." Luke said and I chuckled.

"Sana all." Marc said and we laughed.

When lunch came, this time, we had no choice but to seat beside Ianna and her friends. The cafeteria is full and it looks like we were really meant to seat beside each other. I pull out my phone and put it on the table. A space where me and Ianna can see it. As I was about to eat, my phone beeped. And Xavi's nickname popped, Ianna looked at it but I immediately turn it off.

Gosh, Xavi, muntikan na yon. If my reflexes weren't that quick, she might misunderstood it.

We just ate silently, like I said, we weren't showing any type of affection in public right now.

When we finished, we of course excused ourselves and I bid a goodbye to her. And when her friends teased her. That's when I know she already told them about us.

We went back to or classroom and chill.

"Nakita ko yon kanina. Mas mabilis pa sa kidlat na pinatay ang phone niya." Luke said and I chuckled.

"Shut up, I even got nervous nga that time." I said laughing a little.

"You think she saw it?" Noah ask and I laughed.

"I don't know, but if she did. I'm doomed already." I said and the three laugh.

"Why don't you drop Xavi already?" Marc said and I squinted my eyes before slowly shaking my head.

"Ahm, nope, she'll get hurt." I said and I saw Noah tilts his head.

"Alam mo.. hindi kita gets. You already have Ianna, you two are back together. But you still don't want to dorp Xavi cause she will get hurt. But don't you know she won't get hurt anyways if she finds out that you and Ianna are back together?" Noah said and I shrug.

"Mas masasaktan siya if she finds out about it pag tumagal na. Baka isipin niya ginawa mo siyang kabit." Luke added,

"Grabe naman, hindi naman ganon yon." I said and Noah shakes his head.

"Bahala ka, but I really suggest you to tell her. Bahala ka." He said and I just chuckled. I saw some post on Facebook and decided to post it.

It's about love and as i post it, she's in my mind. I do not just like her anymore. I already love her.

Classes continued and it was just the same. Of course I keep it cool. And of course I don't think of her all the time. I have to focus on our lessons too. Specially, in 4-5 months we're entering college.

Heck I'm excited to take the UPCAT.

When classes ended, it ended early. I saw her ride their car already, and I'm glad she will be able to get home early. And I'm also glad that the jeep is still here. So I get inside and waited. When I reached the house, the twins is answering their assignments. I greeted my lola and went upstairs to answer my assignments too.

Skip to dinner and we had chicken adobo which I find delicious. There's also a box in the house saying it was from my mom. There were chocolates and my shoes. I took a chocolate.. but of course I'll give it to her. But the shoes is nice though.

After I brushed my teeth, I went upstairs and tuck in to bed.

But I didn't sleep early now sleep directly. I even played games that took me long.

When Xavi's nickname popped on my screen, asking me if I already ate. I tap on it and replied.

To gurl:
Hey
I'm sorry for being so busy.
Btw yes I already had my dinner.
Hbu?

Gosh, so I've ignore her the whole day? Well not really ignored? I just didn't replied to her messages. Is it ignoring if did that? Probably

From gurl:
Yup, kumain kami ng friends ko sa restaurant kanina.
I had a burger and milktea.
You?

To gurl:
Chicken adobo, I enjoyed it.
How bout you? Did you enjoy your dinner? You probably did.

Her dinner sounds nice though.

From gurl:
Yeah I did, sisig burger is good.

To gurl:
Woah, that's really nice.

I haven't had that before. I don't know how it taste but I'm willing to try it if ever I had a chance

From gurl:
Yeah, btw I have something to ask.

When I read her message my eyes squinted

To gurl:
Go on..

She can be full of surprises sometimes. Since I don't fully know her. Her questions sometimes surprises me and I just don't know what to answer.

When my phone beeped I immediately look at it.

From gurl:
Uhh.. I saw your shared post, and.. I saw that you like? Love someone?

I squinted my eyes.

"Oh.. she's talking about those posts." I mumbled when I finally figured out what she's talking about.

Maybe its the time for me to tell her about me and Ianna. Maybe Noah is right, it good if I tell her about it. So she won't get her hopes up about our.. friendship that we have.

To gurl:
Ah yes, me and Ianna got back together.

When I sent that I played with my phone on my hands. She didn't replied immediately replied which somehow worried me.

"Hey.. Xavi? Xavii." I playfully said as if she can hear me. I laughed at my self and played  with my phone on my hand. Chewing on my lips.

"Heck, is she hurt?" I ask myself. I already see this coming. I know she will be hurt. But she shouldn't have just fell for me. We were kilometers apart. There's no guarantee that.. we will work out.

I immediately look ay my phone when it beeped.

From gurl:
Oh,
Wow
I'm happy for you!!
Yeyy!
You two are back together! You must he really happy by now!

I bit my lower lip,

"Heck, it sounded so fake Xavi." I said and type a reply.

To gurl:
I am,
And you?

From gurl:
What do you mean? I'm okay. Just a little sleepy.

To gurl:
Are you sure? I mean, tell me how you really feel?

From gurl:
Luh, I'm sleepy na nga. I did some school works pa, I should really go to sleep now.

To gurl:
You're not hurt?

I pursed my lips and waited for her reply.

From gurl:
Why would I be? I'm not in the right position to be hurt. To be jealous? We don't have a label, and it was so stupid of me to fell in love at you
