I watch how Xavi walk away from me and enter the elevator. I know she's mad, kahit sabihin niya na hindi. I know she is. Dahil kahit ako, if I saw her kisisng a guy, and she didn't like it. Kahit hindi niya ginusto, siyempre may galit pa rin na mabubuo sa loob ko. Na kahit wala siyang kasalanan doon. I know that what she's feeling right now. Cause I swear, I didn't like it. Putcha, she just snatched me out from work!!

"Bright? Can you help me with something in my office?" My brows furrowed as I hear her voice from my back. I slowly turn my swivel chair around and saw her wearing a tight tube dress that doesn't even reach her mid legs. Bakit kapag si Xavi ang nagsusuot ng medyo revealing na damit ang ganda-ganda niya, pero kapag si Ianna ayaw ko na siyang makita. 

"Ahm... I'm busy, please ask someone else--"

"But Bright!! Please, help me on something. Please!" She whined like a little girl which is annoying. Jeez... she's fucking 26 and she act and talks like this! Si Xavi lang ang pwedeng mag ganito sa harap ko. Xavi is my only exemption on everything, pwede ko na ba siyang sabunutan dito? 

"Miss Aguilar, stop what you're doing, everyone is working here." I scolded her, walang mangyayari kung magdadabog siya dito. Ugh, I hate this girl! She fucking cheated on me back in highschool! What does she want now! She cheated on me with a STEM guy, asan na yun ngayon? Doctor or Engineer? What does she want from me!? 

"Please Mr. Nañagas, pleaseee!" I glance at Tera who's just at my side. She is glaring at Ianna who's in front of me. Mukhang kahit siya ay gusto na itong sabunutan. 

I sigh escaped my lips, I just want this done. Nakakahiya siya an parang bata dito na nagdadabog. 

"Fine, just be quick." I said standing up, she squealed in a very annoying way. Puta naman, may sira na yata 'to sa utak. 

We were meters away from my cubicle when Tera called me, "Bright!" I stopped walking and look at her, she widened her eyes, I gave her an 'okay' sign, the tip of my point and thumb finger creating a circle and my remaining fingers up before continue walking and soon entering  her office. 

"Where is it?" I asked, stopping at the door, I don't want to move further. 

"Come closer, come here to my table." she said and my brows furrowed, "No, just tell me. I don't want to be closer on you." I said and she chuckled before walking back towards me and reaching for my wrist which I immediately yanked away. 

"Stop, whatever you're doing, stop." I sternly said, she looked at me with shocked eyes. 

Then she suddenly chuckled, this woman is mental! "Just please... help me Bright." she said and a frustrated sigh escaped my lips. 

"Fine, where is it?" I asked as I walk towards her table. 

"Where?" I asked looking around, I felt her presence at my back, so I turned around, but to my surprised, she held me by my nape and forced my lips on her. My eyes widened and immediately pushed her away. Yuck! 

"Ianna what are you doing! I have a fucking girlfriend! Nasisiraan kana ba ng ulo! Ano ba baliw ka ba?! Mayaman ka naman, magpa check-up ka nga!" I shouted before wiping my lips with her glossy red lipstick, tangina talaga! 

As I look at the door' s direction, that's when I saw my exemption looking at me. 

"Putanginaaaa~!" I cried out before slamming my face on my table. 

"Huy! Kumain ka nang lalaki ka! Huwag ka nang mag drama!" Sita sa akin ni Tera bago sinipa pa ang paanan ng bangko na inuupuan ko. 

"Ang sarap pa naman ng luto ni Xavi." ani ni Tera at saka ako nag-angat ng tingin. 

"Siyempre, Xavi ko yun eh." ani ko bago kinuha ang aking lunchbox na inihanda ni Xavi. Para akong maiiyak habang tinitingnan ang laman nito. 

Is she crying right now? She's probably crying right now. Is she eating? I hope she's eating. I know she's in pain right now, and its all because of my fucking stupidity. 

Kahit mabigat ang aking pakiramdam ay pilit akong kumain. Pagkain ni Xavi ang nagpagaan ng pakiramdam ko kahit natatakot ako na umuwi dahil baka doon kami mag-away. Hindi ko pa nakikita si Xavi na galit, natatakot ako na baka ngayon siya sumabog. 

Sa mga oras na nagtatrabaho ako gusto kong bumilis ang oras. Patagal nang patagal ay mas umiinit na ang kina-uupuan ko at mas hindi ako mapakali. Nang sumapit na ng end ng shift ko ay hindi an ako nagpatumpik-tumpik at nag log-out na ako sa aming biometrics at nagtaxi pauwi. 

Halos masira ang pintuan nang buksan ko ito. But to my surprise, no lights are on, the TV is off, no sign of... noise around. Or even a someone. I begun to feel scared... scared that she's not here. I closed the door behind me and drop my bag on the floor before rushing to our bedroom. 

"Fuck... no..." it almost came out as a whisper, as I didn't saw her there. I marched to the bathroom there and what welcome me almost made me drop on the ground. 

Her clothes are not here, her luggage are not here. I went out of our bedroom and hoping... baka lang naman, nasa kabilang kwarto siya. But as I also expected, she's not there. 

I sat down on our sofa... hands shaking a bit. I pull my phone out from my pockets and started calling her friends. Tera consoled me that maybe Xavi just needs time and space. While Addi and Ayen cursed at me. Addi know where she is, but when I told her that Xavi saw me kissing my ex which is something I didn't want, she told me that I should leave Xavi alone. Same goes with Ayen that is just beside her. They were mad at me and cursing at me which is truly understand and accepted. 

I place down my phone on the sofa before ruffling my hair due to frustration. It's her birthday today, I ruined her day. Putangina. 

I didn't ate that night, I just went to sleep... crying and hugging her pillows. her scent is still here. Her scent smells like home, her pillow smells like her hair, the bed smells like her sweet flower scent. I was crying for hours... until I just fell asleep. The morning came and I almost got late for work. Because I cried again when I didn't saw her beside me or in the kitchen cooking. I didn't even bother to eat. Just went straight to work. 

Halos hindi ako nakipag-usap kahit kanino. Tera is checking up on me from time to time. 

"Hoy, kahit nilayasan ka ni Xavi, alam mo naman na mahal ka nun at ayaw ka niyang magugutom, kaya kumain ka nang lalaki ka." she said as lunch break starts. I look at her before shaking my head. 

"Ay... siraulo, nagpapalamig lang si Xavi, baka pagbalik nun sakitin kana." ani nito at napabuntong hininga ako bago tumango at sumunod sa kaniya sa cafeteria. I just got myself katsudon since it looks delicious. 

"Mas masarap pa yung breaded pork ni Xavi dito." I said while eating, I hear Tera laugh that is in front of me. 

"Oo na, masyado mo naman na miss si Xavi, isang araw palang kayong di nagkikita." ani niya at napa-angat ang kaliwang parte ng labi ko. 

"Addi told me she took a 2 weeks leave from the hospital." ani ko dito bago muling sumubo ng pagkain. 

"Eh? Naka-usap mo si Addi? Anong sabi?" tanong niya at bahagya akong natawa. 

"Minura niya ako... different kinds, pati si Ayen, they were cursing at me. Papasabugin daw nila mukha ko kapag nakita nila ako." sagot ko sa kaniya bago napatawa nang bahagya habang siya itong napahagalpak ng malakas. 

"Gagi, goodluck sayo. Seryoso yung dalawa na yun kapag nagalit." ani niya at bahagya akong natigilan. 

"Seryoso ka ba?" tanong ko na may bahid ng takot. Muli siyang napahagalpak ng tawa bago nagkibit balikat. 

Lumipas ang ilang araw at gabi-gabi akong nag-iiyak. Calling her always cross my mind. Pero gaya ng sabi ng mga kaibigan niya, I should give her time and not bother her. I understand kung nasaktan si Xavi doon. She have the rights to get jealous and be mad. That is why my only option is to wait for her to come back to me. When she have finally took the rest and break she deserves. 

I am peacefully sitting on our sofa in our house. Holding a bowl of cereals that I am eating for dinner while I watch TV. When suddenly, my phone beeped and when I check it, its a message request from Instagram. So I checked it since they sent a photo.

Nakita ko po kasi siya before sa McDo malapit sa pinagtatrabahuhan namin, she's with the guy in the picture po. I heard she took a leave and you didn't where she is. I'm her friend from the hospital. Maybe I can help you with this picture. 

I look at the picture and zoom it in to see her and her friend Jake in it. I took a deep breath before calling Tera. 

[Hello? Anong trip mo at napatawag ka?] Bungad agad nito sa akin. 

"Xavi's co-worker saw her few days ago sa McDo with your friend Jake." sagot ko dito. 

[Oh? Selos ka naman?] tanong niya at napabuntong hininga ako. 

"I want to ask for that Jake's number, I want to talk to him." I said and I hear her hum. 

[Okay, ite-text ko sayo, pero huwag mong awayin.] she said and a chuckle escaped my lips. I ended the call and wait for her to send me the number. When she already did, I thanked her and dialed the number. 

Gladly he picked up, [Hello? Who's this?] 

"Mr. Bright Nañagas, is this Mr. Jake David?" tanong ko pabalik, 

[Yes, you're Xavi's boyfriend right?] tanong ulit niya, 

I took a deep breath, "Yes, I just want to ask if alam mo ba kung nasaan ang girlfriend ko?" I said calmly, I don't want to sound rude or mad. 

[Oh... about that... she's here with me, laying down on my bed, she's tired dude, don't worry about her.] My brows furrowed... is he serious? Or is he making fun of me. Cause he's Xavi's friend, of course they're on their side. Baka kakuntyaba siya nila Addi at Ayen at sinabihan na huwag din sabihin kung nasaan so Xavi. Or is he being for real that Xavi slept with him? 

[Biro lang, kalma ka bro. I sent her to Tagkawayan, I'm in Tagkawayan right now too but in my house, I see you two haven't talked. You should see her now. I didn't touch her don't worry, inaaway pa nga niya ako sa sasakyan. Oh, and also, baka maging tatay ka soon. She forgot to take her pills on time, congrats in advance.] Binawi niya agad ang sinabi niya. 

But I wasn't able to get much of what he said. Ang bilis niyang magsalita, isama mo pa na may pagka conyo syung accent niya. The only thing I get is that Xavi is in their home town right now. 

"Sige, salamat." I said as I ended the call. 

That night I packed my things, and I was able to sleep peacefully while still hugging her pillow. I cooked breakfast and ate it. Nagbaon pa ako for snacks sa opisina at dinamay ko na rin si Tera. 

I'm feeling a lot better now. I know she's safe and I know where she is. I'm sure she's at their house and she's eating good, sleeping good there. 

"Huy, mag le-leave ka?" tanong sa akin ni Tera, 

I nod, "Three days lang, I'll try to bring back Xavi with me. Pero kung ayaw naman niya, okay lang, I just want to see her." I answered and she nod.

I went back home and grab my luggage that I packed before leaving the house. I went too the bus station and took a bus to Cainta Rizal where my dad is. 

"Bright, bakit may dala kang bagahe? Pinalayas ka ba ni Xavi?" tanong ni papa na tumatawa pa. 

Maski ako ay napatawa at umiling, "Pa naman, pupunta ako sa kanila sa Quezon, magpapaalam lang ako sayo." ani ko at napakunot ang noo ni papa. 

"Tungkol saan?" tanong nito, 

"Aayain ko na si Xavi ng kasal sa harap ng magulang niya, wala pa akong singsing pero papayag ka ba na magpakasal kami?" tanong ko dito. 

Bumuntong hininga ito, "Bright, pumunta ka dito para diyan? Siyempre oo naman! Itong batang 'to! Oo agad ako! Kaya sige na, bumalik kana sa biyahe at ayain mo na siyang magpakasal." ani nito at napahagalpak ako ng tawa. Di manlang ako pinapasok ng bahay. 

Sumakay ako ng tricycle papuntang bus station at naghanap ng bus na papunta ng Tagkawayan. It will be my first time going there and I don't even know the place. Nang makita ko ang bus na may sign board na Tagkawayan ay doon ako sumakay. Iisa lang naman siguro ang Tagkawayan sa Quezon diba? 

I wasn't expecting na almost 900 ang pamasahe, I also asked if how long is the travel and they said that it's 8-9 hours. Mukhang tanghali na ako makakarating doon. I stay awake the whole travel. Dumaan na kami sa Laguna, sa Lucena, and Atimonan. Those are the place I can only recognize. We stop by another bus stop kung saan kaunti nalang kaming pasahero. And as time passes by, ako nalang ang natitira sa bus. 

"Excuse me, Tagkawayan na yung last stop nito?" tanong ko sa mga kondoktor na andito. 

"Yes po, siguro mga alas nuebe na tayo makakarating doon." they replied. It is indeed pass 8AM now, mataas na ang sinag ng araw. 

Nang makababa ako ng bus ay tumawga ako kay Tera at tinanong kung saan ang bahay ni Xavi, she told me the subdivision at sinabihan ako na sumakay ng tricycle. So I did, I took a tricycle, said the subdivison and Xavi's surname. Pina-alalahanan pa ako ni Tera na 15 pesos lang daw ang pamasahe ko. I shouldn't be obvious na hindi ako tagadito. 

Her dad is the first one to see me. They let me in and me and Xavi had the time alone. I explained and she said she's no longer mad. I was so thankful to see her again, smiling at me. Gosh, I miss her. Nakakaiyak nga eh. Mabuti nalang ay napigilan kong maluha. We cooked for her parents and soon asked them about that marriage. Nakahinga ako nang maluwag nang pumayag sila. We're getting married soon! I stayed there for the three days. Ipinakilala nila ako sa mga kamag-anak nila. And their family si so nice! From Tita Elisa's family to Tito Dean's family. Xavi is the first niece from tito Dean's  side and they're so excited for the wedding. 

"Let's have a date later." I told Xavi as I watch her prepare a drink for herself, nauuhaw daw kasi siya. We're back in Manila and it has been few weeks. I already consider her as my fiance but she refuse because there's still no ring which I truly understand. 

"Sure, what time, dinner time ba?" she asked and I hum. 

I can't wait until the date. I patiently let time pass by, until the clock strikes 6PM and us two started preparing for the date. I wore a simple blue polo with matching black pants. I push my hair up and applied some lip balm so that my lips wont be dry. When Xavi came out from the bathroom, she's wearing a white, off-shoulder dress that reaches her mid thigh. 

"Okay lang ba? Masyado bang maiksi?" she asked, I can sense she's a bit worries. 

I shake my head, "No, it's fine, you look amazing. Hayaan mo silang maglaway." I replied and she chuckled. She's already wearing her make up which made her look more gorgeous. Before the clock strikes 7PM, we already left the house. 

"Bakit walang ibang tao?" she ask as we entered Noah's restaurant. 

"They closed early today for us." I replied before pulling a seat for her. 

"Ah... okay..." she replied and I sit across her. Just few seconds after and foods starts to arrive. 

"Wow... you ordered already?" tanong niya at tumango ako. 

"Yes, but before we eat, I want to ask and give you something first." I said before a waitress give me a mid sized box. Inside of is a navy blue box. 

I pull it out but didn't showed it to Xavi yet, "I already asked your parents, I asked my dad too, now time to ask my future wife." I said and her eyes widened. 

I stand up from my sit, my hand behind my back where the box is, her eyes are still open wide as I kneel down in front of her, "Will you marry me, Xaviana Feliz Alvarez?"

Her eyes widened before nodding nonstop, "Sire, siyempre oo!" ani niya sa mangiyak-ngiyak na boses. I chuckled before standing up from the floor and putting the ring on her ring finger that fits so well. 

"It's beautiful." She mumbled while looking at the ring. 

"Just like you..." I said, she lift her gaze up making our eyes meet each other. Soon we pulled each other for a hot, sweet and romantic kiss. The waitress around us started clapping and a romantic music started playing. 

"Let's eat?" I asked as we pull away from the kiss. She chuckled and nod before the two of us sat back down on our chairs and started eating. 

"Oh, I forgot to tell you..." in the middle of our dinner, I remember something from weeks ago. 

She look up at me and squinted her eyes, "What?" She asked before taking a piece of her steak. 

"What month is it now?" tanong ko, 

Her brows furrowed, "June," she replied, a chuckle escaped my lips. 

"Six Weeks... mhmm." I said with a teasing smirk on my face before looking down on my food.

"What? Anong meron?" tanong niya at halatang naguguluhan. 

"You're friend Jake told me na noong sumabay ka daw sa kaniya pauwi ng Tagkawayan, you forgot to take your pills on time. I'm just wondering if we're now expecting a baby." I said, as I look back up, she have this shocked expression printed on her beautiful face. 

"Hoy! Sira ka! Kung ano-ano iniisip mo!" She said in an annoyed tone of voice. Hinndi ko na napigilan ang mapatawa at mapa-iling. 

Gosh... I love her so much. 

Month of November came, we started planning for a simple wedding. And to my disappointment, no baby is on the way. Guess I have to do good on our honeymoon. Xavi is mostly the one deciding for our wedding. And she's so practical too it. She want it as simple as possible. As private as possible. Ayaw na niyang mag-invite ng marami. Both our family and closest-closest friends. 

It happened in San Agustin Church, since I don't have much family to invite, kakaunti lang sa side ko. Her sides are the best, they really are so nice. Naging comfortable agad sila sa family side ko. Lila and Lali even got close to Xavi's cousins too. Noah, Marc, and Luke also came together. Same goes with Xavi's friends. Jake wasn't able to make it since he's in US, but he still sent us gifts. 

I start to get emotional when I have delivered my vow, Xavi was laughing in front of me as I finish what I was saying. 

It's her turn to speak, "I remember that one afternoon I realized my classmate added me to that group chat where you're in too. I remember how I got interested in you just based on your profile picture, sorry marupok." The people started laughing and so is Xavi and me. 

"Tapos noong gabi na pauwi ako, until we first had a conversation. Crush na talaga kita sa mga oras na 'yon. We got closer and closer to each other just through chats. Bawat araw na lumilipas, mas lalo akong nahuhulog sa mga pogi typings mo." She paused and our friends started laughing. 

"Sinong mag-aakala na yung lalaki kong nakilala sa internet ay ang lalaking ihaharap ko sa altar at makikipag palitan ng singsing at I Do? You were something unexpected and something unsure to me. But as time passes by, as our relationship gone longer, gone stronger, you have become my clarity. Yes, there were tragedies, but after those challenges in our relationship, the dark skies go away and things starts going back to its normal form. I consider you as my missing lightbulb, you know why?" She paused and I smiled, 

"Why?" I asked as I feel tears streaming to my cheeks, 

"You know the Christmas light? Even its missing one lightbulb, it still lights up, but not as bright as when it's complete. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but you're that bright, you're my Bright." As she finishes her vow and we have exchanged our rings, both of us are crying already. 

When the priests told us that we may now kiss, everyone started squealing and screaming, I even saw my friends standing up. 

Para naman first time maghahalikan. 

I slowly remove her veil where I'm able to see her beautiful face much clear. 

I reach for her chin and connected our lips for a short period of time where the crowd gone louder and louder. 

Babawi nalang ng halik sa honeymoon. 

We had our reception in Noah's family resorts, their foods are so good specially the seafoods which Tito Dean requested. There were activities for us two of course, Xavi requested that. She said that when she was a kid and she use to watch those activities, she wants to have it on her wedding to, so we're now having games. 

Ayen got her bouquet and Noah got the garter which is something not so surprising. I have to admit that even I enjoyed the games and activity. 

Which made us both so tired by the evening. Our relatives went home to their hotels as me and Xavi stayed in the resort for our honeymoon. 

"Oh My God, Xavi! HAHAHAH!" Napahalpak ako ng tawa nang makita ang laman ng regalo ni Jake. We are now opening our gifts. 

"Siraulo na Jake 'yon!" She exclaimed as I started scanning the baby clothes he sent, it's a big box, filled with baby clothes and baby stuffs. 

"It's a sign... shall we?" I said in a sexy voice, she look at me and sigh. 

"Di ka pa pagod? May energy kapa?" tanong niya and I nodded. She chuckled before standing up from the floor and walking towards the bed slowly removing her robe, revealing a red sexy lingerie. 

She raised a brow, "Oh? Akala ko ba may energy ka pa?" she sexily said. I bit my lower lip as I felt myself getting aroused just by looking at her. 

Anak, gagalingan ni papa para mabuo ka. 

Nagising na kami bandang 4PM, well I was the first one too wake up and get dressed. I immediately ordered us breakfast since I know Xavi will be hungry the moment she wakes up. And I'm not wrong, when she woke up, she's pouting while looking at me. 

"Gutom na me..." she cutely said, I massage my forehead while chuckling. She was so sexy last night, screaming my name and scratching my back. Now she looks so cute and I just want to keep her in my arms. 

"The food is coming, get changed na." I told her, she pouted again, "Di ako makatayo." she said and I burst out laughing. 

"Like what I expected." I walk towards her and lift her bridal style with no cover at all. Just her sticky body. 

"Bathtub," she said as we enter the bathroom. 

I carefully place her down on the bathtub, "Do you want help?" I ask and she shake her head, I chuckled and just went back to the bedroom. 

The foods came and I waited for her to be finished, once she called me, I entered the bathroom and saw her already dressed. 

"Let's eat?" I asked and she nods. 

I watch her as she cutely eat. She is glowing in the morning wow. Lagi naman siyang ganito. Kahit bagong gising ay ang ganda-ganda niya. Minsan naman kapag magulo ang buhok niya ang cute-cute niya. I'm excited to go back in our house and wake up everyday with her on bed. Kahit matagal na kaming ganon, iba na ngayon, we are now husband and wife. We will soon be having our own family. 

"Bright!!" Maski ako ay napapaiyak na sa sakit ng hawak niya sa kamay ko.

"Ahhh!!" Bawat sigaw niya ay parang naawa ako. She's giving birth to our twins, and I'm getting emotional here already. 

"One more push doktora Alvarez!" ani ng OB niya, she is throwing her head on her pillow while she cries. 

"Stop, stop stop." she let out a shaky breath as the doctors made her stop pushing. And soon loud cries started echoing in the room. 

"Baby number 1 is the girl." The doctor said, not leaving Xavi's side, I watch as they clean our baby girl. 

"Bri..." I look at Xavi who shook my hand, "Lalabas na yung isa." she said and I gulp before looking at the doctors. 

"Ahm... she said that baby number 2 is coming." I hesitantly said to the doctors, they nod and once again prepare for a baby. 

The second one seems not as painful as the first one. She's no longer screaming that loud but still gripping on my hands like she wants to crush it. 

"Head out!" Sigaw ng OB, Xavi once again stopped pushing and she started crying which alarmed me. 

"Hey, hey... they're here na, our little angels are here na." I console her, she slowly nods as we both watch the pedia cleans our baby boy. 

"Congratulations you two!" the OB happily said, the OB that we have was Xavi's senior back in her internship. 

I look at Xavi and she smiled at me, "Tutulog lang ako, alam mo na pangalan nila diba?" She said and I slowly nod, she smiled again before closing her eyes. 

Inasikaso ko na ang birth certificate ng kambal, baby girl is Xandria Chade Nañagas, Xavi is the one who decide on that name. While she let me decided for our baby boy. Prime Bouvier Nañagas. Pride sana yung Prime, favorite ko kasi si Optimum Pride sa transformers noong bata pa ako. Kaso ang sama naman, kaya Prime nalang. 

"You're awake," I stand up from my seat as Xavi opens her eyes. 

"Our little angels are at the nursery, gusto mo ba na ipadala ko sila dito?' I softly asked, 

"Bulbs, I want to call her our little bulbs." she said and I chuckled. 

I slowly nod, "Mhmm, cute, bulbs, our little bulbies." I said and she chuckled slightly. 

"I love you Bright." She said and a smile grew on my lips, 

"I love you too, you and our little bulbies, I will love you forever, and ever, and ever, kahit mag brownout, mananatili akong maliwanag para sa inyo." I said and she giggled before hitting my hands.

"Ako ang ilaw ng tahanan, ikaw ang pader." She said and I chuckled, "You can be the wall too, you're strong, loving and caring, you'll be a great mother to our kids." I said before kissing her forehead. 

"And you'll be a great father for sure." She said which made me felt a bit emotional. 

With all my will, I will do my best and everything to protect my kids. 

Cause when you love something, you protect and cherish it.
