"It's not like you have a magical shield surrounding yourselves, we got that close because we were on a ship and they allow you to travel from island to island."

"Traveling's a nice word for hunting down dragons."

"That was self-defense. Besides, how many of ours have your crew killed? How many dragons shot down and subjected to a lifetime of suffering? How many of our ships destroyed?"

"We kill and destroy in defense when you protect those demons! How many people have been killed by dragons!? They will destroy everything we hold dear; we must protect ourselves against them. You and your people have betrayed us all."

"We can live in peace, it's possible. Look at Berk! It's possible to transform our way of living and then no one else has to be lost to unnecessary fighting."

"So you try to spread your so called peace through more fighting? Through using them as war machines?"

"We try to spread it through talking. When no one listens we are forced to use harsher measures."

"Harsher measures? You mean murder! Murder that you claim to want to prevent."

"If we have to murder some to save the many, then yes, we will resort to murder."

"So you're placing the lives of your dragons above those of other people? Your morals need to be sorted."

"Dragons are smart and compassionate creatures and anyone who takes a couple minutes to understand them would see that instantly."

"An instant is all it takes to be killed by a dragon! They are hostile and murderous and defend their own, just like we have to do."

"We don't have to do anything, that's what you trappers have all messed up. Dragons attack because we attack, it's a cycle of violence."

"No that's... that's different. We have to attack first to protect our own sometimes, to get all dragons under control."

"People have to be the ones to stop the fighting, trappers are on the offensive and dragons are only on the defensive, it's-"

"Dragons are on the defensive? They are much larger, much stronger, much faster, they can fly, they breathe fire. How in the world are they on the defensive?"

"And people have weapons that match if not surpass all that the dragons can do."

"You are all weakened by the softness in your hearts and I hope your dragons rip you to shreds, because they will. Dragons are by nature violent creatures, they're physically built for it. Humans and dragons will never peacefully survive side by side."

"We already are. You just need to open your eyes and your heart."
