The Sound of Dischordia

Hi again! Jenna's back after her stint with Erin's control. Now we see as she has to deal with that evil voice in her head, the worry of the Rangers and having a morpher. Enjoy!

------------------------------------------------------------------

Jenna stood inside the Music Room of Angel Grove High, standing beside Tommy. Aisha and Kat were practicing their song for the Competition at the school, while the other two watched.

Jenna wore a purple t-shirt and a pair of denim overalls with shorts. She wore a pair of white tennis shoes with purple laces, as well as her usual backpack. Her hair was in a high ponytail and her locket and JTL bracelet.

"Angel Grove Hi-Hi-Hig-High," they sang. Jenna, while trying to be supportive, had gotten bored quickly and was reading The Giver.

"Hang on, hang on, could we try that bit again?" Kat requested. Jenna shook her head. She knew that Katherine was a perfectionist, but sometimes she was too modest.

"Okay," Aisha responded, she was sitting at a keyboard.

"Angel Grove Hi-Hi-Hi..." they began again, before Kat took her headphones off, looking upset.

"What's wrong?" Aisha asked, as she took hers off.

"I just can't get this harmony," Kat explained.

Tommy stood up and Jenna looked up as well.

"It sounded good to me," Tommy told them.

"You two sound great together," Jenna reassured them.

The two girls turned to them as Tommy walked towards them. Jenna began to pack up her stuff, she gathered her book and stuffed it and her purple hoodie inside her backpack.

"Aisha, maybe you should get another partner," Kat suggested.

"No! I've already entered our names in the contest," Aisha argued.

"Aisha loves to write music," Tommy explained. "Both of you guys can sing. I think you guys have a great chance of winning that school song competition."

"I don't know," Kat shrugged, before looking at them.

"Come on, Kat, you sounded amazing," Jenna smiled. "You're sure to win." She would've said more, but was interrupted what was easily the most ear-shattering sound known to man.

The glass door shattered, making Jenna turn in fear.

"I'm telling you, I'm a tenor," Jenna heard Bulk say to Skull.

Skull came walked through the broken glass in the door, with Bulk behind him, singing a very loud opera song.

After they stopped, they sprayed a weird mouth spray in their mouths and looked to the people in the room.

"You guys finished with the room yet?" Bulk asked. "We must rehearse."

"Yes, for the big contest," Skull explained, Jenna saw the teens rolled their eyes. "And who better to represent Angel Grove than its very own Junior Police Patrol."

They both began to sing dramatic opera music again, causing the four Rangers to grin slightly, as they walked towards the unbroken door.

They both walked out of the door. They then both began to sing more opera music as they left and the door closed behind them, but as they walked down the hallway, the glass shattered.

The two singing girls giggled before turning to each other.

"Aisha, forget what I said," Kat said. "I'll work on the harmony." Jenna laughed at her change of heart.

Aisha and Kat both high-fived Tommy.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

At the juice cafe, Aisha, Kat and Jenna all entered to see the male Rangers, besides Tommy. They walked to the table, Aisha and Kat carrying loads of shopping bags.

"Hey, guys," Aisha greeted, getting their attention. Jenna waved to the boys, before moving to sit down beside Adam.

"Hey," Billy said.

"You guys buy out the mall?" Adam questioned, causing Jenna to giggle.

"Adam, if we're gonna sing in front of the school administration, we can't just wear anything," Aisha explained.

"And we didn't know what to wear, so we thought we'd buy everything," Kat added.

"I tried to stop them. Little tip: do not get between those two and their shopping," Jenna shook her head, causing them to laugh.

The Pink and Yellow Rangers both shrugged their shoulders.

"I don't suppose the shopping spree is just a way of relieving your anxiety about performing in public is it?" Billy asked.

"No!" Rocky mocked. "Probably just nervous." Aisha sat down beside Jenna, and Katherine sat next to Aisha.

"We are," Aisha and Kat confirmed.

"Don't worry, you guys will be great," Adam assured.

"Yeah, you guys don't have anything to be concerned about," Billy agreed.

Kat and Aisha both nodded, understandably, but then they all heard a siren nearby. Bulk walked backwards towards them, holding a guitar.

"Alright, bring it in," he guided. "Come on, Skullovitch, bring it in, man. There you go."

Skull showed up, pushing a very heavy and large speaker on a dolly cart, which had a police siren on top.

"Hey, you got it," Bulk encouraged.

"Heavy!" Skull groaned, as he set the dolly cart down. "Heavy!"

"Hey. Skull, we have to start singing in front of people," Bulk explained, before pointing to the teens. "These people are the prefect audience. They're young, they're hip..."

"They're captive," Skull added, catching his breath as the teens all turned to them.

"I think we are in a very dangerous area," Jenna commented, noticing the large speaker was set right in front of their table.

"Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen!" Bulk announced. "Skull and I would like to share with you a little song."

"This is a little ditty we like to call 'Angel Grove... rules'," Skull explained, holding a guitar himself.

"I have very low expectations," Jenna mumbled, knowing the two always did very weird things.

"One, two, three," Bulk said, as they started playing.

Whatever they sang, fell on deaf ears, literally, Jenna felt like she would never be able to hear anything ever again. She could not tell if there was any words, only random gibberish. She noticed everyone else covering their ears as well, and was glad to know it wasn't just her.

Their sound system then broke, exploding and sparking out of control, forcing them to stop.

The cafe was laughing while Jenna looked like she really wanted to fix the equipment

------------------------------------------------------------------

Later, Aisha, Kat and Jenna were at Aisha's house, while Kat and Aisha practiced, Jenna was once again reading her book.

"I'm ready," Kat nodded. "Yeah." Jenna looked up and gave them a thumbs up.

"Here we fly at Angel Grove High, and here we rise at Angel Grove Hi-high." Jenna heard, and she bobbed her head to the beat.

"And we'll take on all the limits, and the obstacles, of the roads ahead, and the ways ahead are always, they're always bright!" they sang, making Jenna smile, before it was interrupted by a terrible noise.

"What was that?" Aisha questioned, as they took their headphones off.

"Whatever it was, I need it to stop, like now," Jenna complained, covering her ears. The sound affected her more than other sound did. It was like there was something in her head, pounding down on her mind. It broke her thoughts apart and for a few moments she lost a grasp on what was going on.

"Calm down, just focus," Jenna heard from inside her mind, with a voice she recognized as Erin's. She shook her head, clearing her mind of the lingering voice and the pain from the noise.

"Sounds like some warped CD outside," Kat offered.

------------------------------------------------------------------

When they got outside, Aisha and Katherine started covering their ears as well. And the three girls turned towards an offkey monster.

"If that bugged you, watch out!" she said. "You are really gonna hate this one!"

"You up for this, Jenna?" Aisha asked, looking to the girl.

"Totally," Jenna nodded, looking determined.

"It's Morphin Time!" Kat shouted.

"Pink Ranger Power!" Kat called.

"Purple Ranger Power!" Jenna screamed.

"Yellow Ranger power!" Aisha shouted.

The three girls then got ready to fight. For Jenna, this was the first time she had really morphed, sure Erin had done it in her body. But it was nothing compared to the rush of safety and power that she got from morphing herself. She could tell that she had grown, considering the ground looked further away.

"Dischordia's the name, and my villainess voice is my game!" Dischordia told them.

She fired some music melodies out of her chest, singing as she did, which then hit the three girls, causing them to put their hands on their helmets.

"I think you should play tenor!" Aisha commented.

"Yeah, ten or twelve miles away from here!" Kat groaned, the sound causing a ringing in her ears.

"You sound worse than nails on a chalkboard," Jenna winced, feeling the swirl of thoughts in her brain.

"I'll control your minds!" Dischordia chanted. "Get into my groove! 'Cause you're the kind that can really move! Now move!"

All three Rangers started dancing.

"Really?! My first time as a Ranger and I end up a dancing puppet for this out of tune creepo?!" Jenna complained, her feet and arms moving out of control.

"My songs are taking over your bodies." Dischordia explained. "Soon I'll control your minds!"

All the girls moved their legs to the side doing different dance moves.

"What should we do?" Kat asked.

"I don't know!" Aisha replied, kicking her feet up.

"Trust me I wish I knew," Jenna commented, trying to get control over her limbs.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After what had felt like hours, but was most likely only a couple of minutes, they were still dancing.

"Your bodies are mine!" she sang. "You'll obey only me!" Jenna was gradually getting more and more annoyed with Dischordia's voice. And she only knew her name was Dischordia, because this monster was incredibly vain and often brought it up in her singing.

Suddenly, Tommy jumped from the sky towards them, followed by Rocky, Adam and then Billy.

"Finally! I'm really tired," Jenna pouted, as she continued to move out of control.

The four boys all landed in front of the three girls, and turned to Dischordia.

"Whoa! You're singing's way off key, lady!" Tommy told her.

"What's that?" Dischordia asked, mocking and ignoring him. "I can't hear you."

"Your concert's been canceled!" Tommy told her.

The boys all charged at her, while the girls kept on dancing because of the spell.

"Let's face the music!" Dischordia shouted, firing the musical melodies at them. "Rangers!"

The melodies hit the boys, and the boys did the same as the girls.

"Now here's a little ditty that'll move ya!" Dischordia yelled.

She began to sing like she was in the opera, making the boys moan in pain.

"Can't...listen!" Tommy groaned.

"Bulk and Skull sing better than that!" Jenna shouted to Dischordia.

"What's happening?!" Rocky demanded, the ground shaking.

"Let's see you dance to my music!" Dischordia said, before lifting her hand up, and then she clicked her fingers. "Kick it!"

The Rangers all raised their right hands into the air while putting the left on their hips, usually their teleporting pose, as Dischordia began to sing.

The boys and Jenna were moving their shoulders and picking up their legs and moving around each other as Katherine and Aisha were twirling together behind them.

"Can this girl sing, or what?" Dischordia asked them, laughing as they kept on dancing. "Movin' and a-groovin'!"

Jenna almost tripped over her legs, not used to being puppeted by a monster.

"Power Twerps, get down with the beat!" she chanted, before firing a music beam at Tommy. "Alright, White Ranger!"

Tommy began to move towards her, moving his arms to his sides like he was swimming.

"Time to give me your Power Coin and then your Zord!" she smirked, before laughing.

Dischordia moved her fingers as Tommy kept coming towards her.

"Come closer, and closer!" she hummed.

"I can't stop!" Tommy complained, getting closer and closer to his doom.

"Now let's have it, the coin and the Zord!" Dischordia said.

"No!" Kat cried, reaching out, as the others kept dancing. "You've got to fight it, Tommy!"

"Come on, Tommy!" Jenna screamed, trying to get his mind off her music.

Tommy pulled out his right hand from behind his back, holding his Power Coin in his fist.

"I can't help myself!" he groaned, trying to fight the music, as his fist opened it. "I've got to stop listening!"

"There! That's more like it now!" Dischordia said, touching Tommy's arm. "Give in! Give in to me! Give in!"

Tommy tried resisting, pulling his wrist back.

The girls put their hands to their sides, gaining little control.

"Rangers, activate the Metallic Armor!" Alpha told them, speaking through their communicators.

"Gotcha!" Rocky said, as the boys regained their balance.

"I kinda don't have that!" Jenna reminded them.

"Jenna, Alpha has given your suit the same power the Rangers were," Zordon announced.

"Amazing!" Jenna squealed, excited.

"And now, music lovers, my final number!" she announced, while hitting Tommy in the chest.

"Huh!" Tommy said, regaining his balance and turning to her. "We've heard enough!"

He flipped his Power Coin in his hand, and then jumped towards the others.

"Metallic Armor, power up!" they all shouted, and their suits began to shine as if they were made of metal.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sparkly right now!" Jenna said, in awe. Just because she was a little smarter than most people her age, didn't mean she didn't have similar excitements.

They all did their fighting poses, and then their suits shined brightly, causing Dischordia to go blind.

"Ah! I hate bright light!" she groaned, covering her eyes, before the shining stopped.

"Go for it, Dischordia." Tommy said. "Our armor blocks out your tinny toons!"

"Yeah!" Rocky said.

"No!" Dischordia screamed. Dischordia backed away as the Rangers walked towards her. "Hold it, Rangers. I got a ballad that'll make you cry!"

"Why don't you cry 'I give up' instead?" Tommy suggested.

"You except me to give up?" Dischordia questioned. "Never! Hit it!"

She charged them, and tried to punch both Tommy and Rocky, but they both blocked her with their wrists.

"This ain't no hokey-pokey!" she said.

"Not anymore, at least," Jenna commented.

Tommy and Rocky both moved their moved their hands back and then hit Dischordia's arms with their other hands, knocking her back.

"Well, I see. Well!" she scoffed.

Rocky spun around and kicked her right in the chest, causing her to spin around, and then Tommy punched her right her in the face, knocking her back even more.

"You've been a lovely audience, but it's time for me to go!" she told them, turning from Billy to Adam.

She tried to punch Adam, but he dodged like a blur to his left, causing her to miss.

"Missed me!" he mocked.

Billy then darted past her and hit her in the back.

"Me too!" he said. Jenna ran past her, a purple blur.

"Can I have a turn?" She asked, turning to Billy.

"Go for it!" He gave her a thumbs-up.

Jenna attacked Dischordia. She kicked Dischordia in the side, sprinting around to sweep her foot under Dischordia's legs, knocking her to the floor.

Dischordia got to her feet, but Jenna was gone and in her place was Aisha and Kat.

They both jumped and kicked her right in the chest, knocking her down in front of Aisha's house, as the Rangers gathered together.

"You've belted out your last tune, Dischordia!" Aisha said, pointing at her.

"So? What do you guys know?" Dischordia asked, getting up. "You're just a bunch of one-hit wonders!"

"Your world tour is over, Dischordia!" Tommy told her.

"Metallic Armor, power down!" they all shouted.

A shining light came from all the suits, and then they went back to normal.

"Now we don't want you to go away mad, just go away!" Tommy said.

Lightning then hit Dischordia, and she grew giant, laughing as she did.

"Ooh! Is it Zord Battle Time now?" Jenna asked, excitement in her eyes.

"You got that right," Aisha nodded.

"Wow! We'd better stop her before she serenades the whole world into oblivion!" Tommy told the others.

"Yeah," Rocky agreed.

"Come on, let's go," Tommy said.

They all ran forward, and then Tommy spun around left hand above his head, and his and his right away from his chest. Rocky then did the same, followed by Billy, Adam, Kat and then Aisha. Jenna put her hand into the air, calling on her own zord.

"We need Shogun Zord power now!" they all shouted, rolling their right arms down, and then held them up.

"Allosaurus Dinozord Power Up!" Jenna called, and she watched as her dinosaur zord arrive in gigantic, purple, metal glory.

She ignored the rest of the Ranger's starting their zords up as she jumped into her Zord's control panel area. She viewed the thing in awe. The zord was beautifully made and so much amazing technology. It took a lot of self-restraint for her not to start taking it apart to observe it.

"Glad you could make it for my big number, Power Puffs!" Dischordia mocked.

Jenna watched as the others made a megazord. She searched her own control panel to see if she could do anything similar and found something to do.

"Allosaurus Dinozord Battle Mode!" She yelled, flicking some controls. Her zord went from a dinosaur into a humanoid figure.

"This is so cool!" Jenna cheered, feeling amazing as she controlled her zord.

"Billy, are we ready to rock?" She could hear Tommy ask through the communicators.

"All systems are activated and ready," Billy replied.

Ninjor then came out of the sky, floating on a cloud.

"Greetings, friends!" he said, before jumping off the cloud, and landed between the two Megazords. Jenna was on the other side of the Shogun Megazord. "Someone forget to invite me? Forgiven!"

"Nice to see you, Ninjor," Jenna said, making the blue ninja do a double take at her zord, which looked similar to him, only purple and a little bigger and bulkier.

"It seems I've missed whoever this new Ranger is," Ninjor sounded confused.

"We'll tell you everything after, Ninjor, but for now, let's take down this monster," Tommy explained.

They all turned to Dischordia.

"Do you have any requests before I destroy you?" she asked.

"Well, I was hoping-" Ninjor said.

"Actually, I do-" Jenna began.

"Too late!" Dischordia interrupted the pair of them, pointing at the sky.

"Well that was rude," Jenna muttered,

The sky darkened, and lighting lit up the sky. It started to hit Dischordia, but it only made her sing and laugh.

"Come on!" Dischordia yelled, charging them with her blade.

"Not so fast!" Ninjor said, and he brought his sword out, while the Shogun Megazord brought out its Fire Saber. Jenna scanned her eyes over what she had, trying to find her own weapon, but as she tried to click something, the console started sparking out. Her zord started to malfunction, shorting out and sending sparks to fly.

Jenna tried to stop it, but her arm got burned by the sparks and she hissed in pain. The controls went haywire and her zord moved on its own accord, the Rangers hadn't noticed her lack of movement before, but they sure noticed when her zord punched the Shogun Megazord.

"Jenna, what was that?" Rocky asked, his voice coming through her communicator.

"My zord's technology is crashing, I don't know what to do," Jena said back.

"Jenna, are you okay?" Katherine asked, while she and the other Rangers and Ninjor battled Dischordia.

"I don't know, the controls are shorting out and it's getting really hot in here," Jenna said, panicking, as her brain fogged out. The zord had smoke filling in the area where Jenna was, and the Rangers could see it coming out from the top.

"Jenna! Get out of there now!" Billy warned her. But Jenna couldn't hear it, she was dizzy and felt faint, and then the console exploded and Jenna screamed.

"Jenna, Alpha will teleport you to Command Center," Zordon's voice came through calmly. Jenna screamed again, feeling the fire on her body, and as her zord fell to the ground in a heap of explosion, her body was teleported in a purple light to the Command Center. But Jenna couldn't feel anything anymore, as the world was dark.

------------------------------------------------------------------

A few days later, everyone was in the Youth Center for the song competition. Mr. Caplan stood beside the stage, holding a list of the contestants, as people sat in chairs to watch the performers - Tommy, Billy, Rocky, Jenna and Adam sitting in the front row - as a band was playing.

Jenna watched the band and cringed as the loud instruments were hurting her ears.

When they stopped, Jenna was the loudest cheerer, solely because she was happy that they stopped. But she stopped with a wince, when the movement jostled the burn on her arm.

"Hey Jenna, is your arm feeling better?" Billy asked.

"A little bit, but Zordon says to keep resting it," She sighed in response.

"What went wrong with your zord, anyway?" Adam asked.

"Zordon hasn't told me yet, but he said after Alpha does some scans, they'll be able to figure it out," Jenna explained, but then Mr. Caplan came on the stage.

"Thank you, ladies and gentlemen." he said, as a keyboard was set up behind him. "Now that was very, um, energetic!"

"All righty then!" he said, before looking at the list of contestants. "We're on to the next song contestants. Now, hoping that their duet will be the new school song, here is Aisha and Katherine singing 'Angel'!"

People clapped and cheered, especially the Rangers, as Mr. Caplan got off the stage, and Aisha and Katherine got onto it.

Kat looked at Tommy, who gave her a thumbs up, while Jenna grinned at the two.

Aisha began to play the music on the keyboard, as Kat got ready.

"Here we fly at Angel Grove High," They began. "And here we rise at Angel Grove Hi-hi-gh. And we'll take on all the limits, and the obstacles of the roads ahead, and the ways ahead are always, they're always bright! Angel Grove... Hi-hi-hi-igh! Angel Grove... Hi-hi-hi-gh! Angel Grove... Hi-hi-hi-igh! Angel Grove... High!" the two sang.

As they finished, Jenna ignored the pain in her arm as she cheered for the two.

Aisha and Katherine hugged, knowing and feeling that they did good.

"All right! Yeah!" Tommy cheered.

"Whoo!" Jenna cheered, a bright smile on her face as she clapped.

Mr. Caplan went to the judges, who then gave him the results.

"Beautiful song, beautiful song." he commented, walking towards the girls, before turning to the audience. "I seem to concur with the judges. Congratulations, girls. It's perfect for Angel Grove High!"

The girls hugged each other again, as everyone clapped and cheered for them.

Adam, Jenna, Billy, Rocky and Tommy then all got up and ran to them. Tommy high fived Aisha, before she hugged Adam. While Kat hugged Billy and Jenna. Jenna looked at all of them, a smile on her face as Billy hugged Aisha.----

A/N:

OK YALLLLLL

There is only one more chapter after this! EEEEEEEEKK

Fact: Originally Erin was supposed to talk a lot more, but I decided she had like 4 chapters and Jenna needs a break. And then I burned her arm! :)

I love Jenna, but I horribly abuse her :(

Is it just me or in past chapters did I just keep switching Erin's eyes from purple to green like?

Anyway, Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers will be a separate book, mostly because I want to say this book is complete.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG

I can't believe I'm actually going to finish this story soon! Also was it just me or was Ninjor so sassy...

Thanks for reading! Read and Review!

Bye! :)
