Before anything, I just want to make it clear for those who are completely new to graphics that you don't need to follow the exact sizes below because it doesn't work out all the time, that's when lock aspect ratio comes in handy.

So what is lock aspect ratio? It is when you change one dimension of a picture, may it be the height or the width, the other dimension will automatically be changed to maintain the shape and proportions of the object.

If you don't know any apps that have a lock aspect ratio feature, I recommend using PicsArt. If you don't know where to find the lock aspect ratio feature, it's at the bottom left of the app. I'll discuss about that in a separate chapter under the basics section.

create a final result. Hence,
the name 'blend'.

Header
Used to display
personality about the
user, similar to the
function of an icon.

Movie Poster
Similar to a story ad.
Used to advertise your
book as if it were a movie.

Bookmark
Similar to a book cover, except
the user can print this graphic
to use as a bookmark. More on
the simple side.

Sometimes these sizes can be too large for the image you're cropping, so I prepared some alternatives that has the same ratio as the sizes below but a smaller version.

Actually this can be
any square ratio.

[Story Ad: 300 × 300]
This can also be just
any square ratio.

[Banner: 350 × 50]
The original is actually
small enough but I don't
want to leave this out.

[Thread: 300 × 340]
It's stated above that
this could be any height
but what I used at the
sample above is 441 × 500
so this is an alternative to it.

[Book Cover: 256 × 400]
This is actually what
I used back then, it's the
same as the one stated
above, just a smaller version.

[Blend: 400 × 300]
The original is already
small but I don't want
to leave this out as well.

[Header: 640 × 200]
The original ratio
stated above is so large,
this is what gave me
the idea to put alternatives.

[Movie Poster: 400 × 560]
Same with this one.
It's larger than my
classmate's forehead.
And I oop---
