"There's no way we're gonna give Uma the wand, we can't just let her destroy Auradon," Evie's pacing back and forth.

"Uma doesn't get the wand, then Ben is toast, guys," Carlos is basically on his own against the other three,

"Right, so, we're gonna give Uma, of all people, the wand," Mal's sat on the table Carlos is sitting by.

"Do we have another choice?" the bickering is all that fills Rain's head, until one memory floats back

"Wait! You guys!" She points to Carlos "Your 3D printer,"

"A phony wand!"

"Yes!"

"In my sleep," Carlos catches onto the memory of Chad

"And the second Uma tests it, she'll know it's fake," Evie tries to shut down the idea.

"Well, okay, so then we just get Ben out really fast," rain's hands move around as they configure the plan. They might actually get Ben back.

"We need some kind of diversion," is quiet at Mal's statement, until Jay speaks up.

"Smoke bombs!"

"That's perfect. I'll get the chemicals I need from Lady Tremaine's place. That could work," Evie walks up to Rain "Oh, and sick hair, by the way," she twirls one of the curly locks around her fingers. Mal jumps down from the table and inspects it as well.

"Evil Stepmom seriously stepped up her game,"

"Okay, do you want to know something?" rain crunches up her hair "Dizzy did this,"

"Little Dizzy? Shut up!" Evie's shock is also shown on Mal's face.

"No way!"

"I know. I'm, like, loving it. I've really missed the curls,"

"And the red is way lighter," Mal finally drops one of the strands.

"I'm really proud of her,"

"Hello?" Carlos cuts off the hair enthusiasm.

"Right. Carlos, Jay, you guys meet us at Pirates Bay no later than noon. And, you guys, losing, not an option," Rain tells them, they couldn't lose ben to her raging, traitorous ex-girlfriend, "Cause we're rotten,"

"To the core," Rain smirks at the synchronization. They still had it.

"Let's do this," Rain felt Evie was more excited to see Dizzy.

Rain, Mal and Evie walk into 'Curl up and Dye'. Rain for the second time that day. Evie immediately smiles when she sees Dizzy sat making jewellery.

"Shh" Rain and Mal nod at her request. All three of them walk forward, Evie and Mal going either side of Dizzy.

"Evie?" Dizzy turns to her "Evie, you came back?!" they embrace, and Dizzy jumps up and down in excitement

"Hey, so great to see you too," Rain nudges Mal at her comment. I mean yes, she was completely ignored but...

"Is it all just like we imagined? Do they really have closets you can walk into? Have you been to a real swimming pool? What does ice cream taste like?"

"It's cold and it's sweet, and if you eat it too fast, it gives you a headache,"

"Really?" Dizzy runs to the front desk "I saved your sketchbook for you,"

"You did? Dizzy! Oh, my gosh. Wow, "Evie sits down to open it. Standing beside Dizzy, Rain can see the memories flashing behind her eyes. There's a lot of her outfits in there. Evie opens a random page "I made this dress out of an old curtain and safety pins,"

"It reminds me of the dress you made for Rain when she met Jasmine," the memory surfaces to Rain's mind.

"I spilled curry all over that,"

"You did,"

"Yeah, I saw that" Dizzy laughs and Rain is somewhat glad they're getting amusement from an utterly embarrassing situation. Rain is just happy she managed to find a spell that fixed the stain quickly.

"You're totally right, Dizzy. This was... this was totally the inspiration for that," Mal moves to start the smoke bombs and Rain takes her place on the other side of Evie.

"I knew it! You can take the girl out of the Isle, but you can't take the Isle out of the girl," Evie seemed shocked at that. But Dizzy was right. Rain knew all of them still have Isle inspiration.

"Is this... too much, or is this fabulous?" Evie takes two parts from the table and puts them together.

"Hand me the glue gun!" Rain smiles, walking over to Mal.

Once Evie started helping Mal and Rain, the smoke bombs were being made much quicker.

"That makes five smoke bombs,"

"That should be enough, right?" Rain can't help second guessing herself, they had to save Ben.

"Yeah," Mal pats her back in comfort. Rain knew she could see straight through her.

"R, M, how amazing would this look, with my shredded tee and my heart purse," Evie holds a tiara up to her head. She's right.

"Very amazing,"

"Spectacular," Dizzy jumps up at Rain's words.

"Take it! Take a bunch!" Evie brings over her bag to put the tiaras in.

"Aw Dizzy,"

"I made them, inspired off your coronation outfit!" Dizzy tells Rain "Actually, the brown one is inspired by Rapunzel's tiara, and the one that looks like the queens crown well..."

"Was inspired by Belle's crown?" Rain guesses and Dizzy looks down "Diz, these are beautiful. Thank you so much!" Rain puts the ones for her in her bag, before wrapping her arms around Dizzy's small frame.

"It would make me so happy to know that you two were wearing something of mine in Auradon. Almost like me being there myself," 'well at least Evie will be' Rain thinks.

"I really wish I could take you with me," Evie hugs her this time, Rain thinks the day may honestly be the most Dizzy's been hugged her whole life,

"At least one of us had our dream come true, right?" Mal just awkwardly puts the smoke bombs in her bag. Rain would laugh if the look on Evie's face wasn't so heart-breaking.

"Yeah..."

"Guys, we gotta go," Mal prompts them. Dizzy waves and Rain pats her arm before watching her go back to the desk "she's gonna be okay," Mal or Evie's sake.

"Yeah, but she could be so much more," as Evie mutters this, Rain promises that if she's staying, she's making sure that girl is okay. For Evie's sake.

The streets were filled with Mal, Evie and Rain's laughter as if everything was the way it was before they all left the Isle.

"True loves kiss,"

"Works every time," they all chorus.

"I really thought that's what you and Ben had," Evie looks down at Rain.

"So, did I..."

"You wanna talk about it?" Rain hadn't told Evie the whole story, but she was sure Mal would when they got back.

"No, I'm not coming back guys," Evie and Mal move next to each other, "I really can't. I tried to tell you both!" they sigh "Evie, Mal told me about how your face lit up when you saw the dorms. You've always wanted to go there. Remember the late nights we'd spent talking about leaving? All you ever wanted to do was live in a big castle," Evie nods at the memories "and Mal, I know you never wanted a better life. But you got it, and you are so, so happy,"

"If you're staying, we're staying to," Evie and Mal grab each other's hands in agreement.

"No! Evie, you are an Auradon girl. And I am, and will always be, the girl from the Isle. Not some Princess who's in line for the throne. Mother Gothel's daughter, who's too stubborn and sarcastic for her own good," rain opens up the hideout. Rain watches the other two give each other a smile before she follows them up the stairs to the balcony, where they all stop. 

Evie -

Mal -

I thought that you were fine

Both -

Why did you have to hide?

Rain drops her bag down before stepping between them both

Rain -

I didn't want to let you down

But the truth is out

It's tearing me apart, not listening to my heart

I really had to go

Mal -

Rain reaches for her friends' hands as memories flood my mind: when they first arrived, Rain sticking up for Evie. The tourney match, them helping Rain make the cookie, All the time they spent in either of the dorms. Getting Rain ready for her date, family day, coronation, it all flashes up.

Rain goes right, and they go left, leading to the main room. They walk towards each other.

The trio end in a big hug and Rain blinks back tears. Why is this so emotional? She knew why. Evie tightens her grip on Rain and Mal and Rain laughs as they stand like that for a while.
