"Okay... everybody calm down... there's no need to panic..." Lexi started saying rapidly as she paced around the room, mostly talking to herself. "It's just a simple problem... nothing to freak out about..."

A few months had passed from the day Fred had gotten permission from Lexi's parents for her hand in marriage — although he had mostly blurted it out, rather than to ask for their permission. But as spring had approached and they were now in mid-June, their wedding day had finally arrived.

Lexi was feeling off-weather for more than a week now, and everyone assumed that it was due to the fact that her wedding was nearing and she was growing more nervous than ever.

There was only two hours left to the wedding ceremony and Lexi was facing a big issue, in her opinion. Although Hermione and Ginny were trying desperately to tell her that everything was fine. Her mother, Lisa, had gone down to bring her a warm cup of tea like she used to make her before bed when Lexi was a kid.

"You're just overthinking this whole thing, Lexi," Hermione tried to reason for the hundredth time. "This problem is fixable! You'll look beautiful! Trust me!"

"Overthinking?" Lexi repeated in disbelief. "Hermione, this is a crisis!"

"This girl's got her priorities right," Ginny said sarcastically as she was sitting on an armchair beside the window with her new-born, Lily, in her arms.

But then the room's door opened and Lisa came inside with a hot cup of tea and milk in her hands. She was already dressed up, and so were Hermione and Ginny, wearing their bridesmaid dresses.

Ginny had helped Lexi with her make up and Hermione had done a charm on her hair, but Lexi was not dressed yet and she was still in her light pink silk nightgown robe.

"There you go, honey," Lisa said kindly, handing Lexi the cup of tea. "Just the way you like it."

"Oh, Mum, you're an angel!" Lexi sighed happily, sipping on the tea.

"Hey, why don't you girls go down and help Mrs. Weasley? She's having trouble keeping a look on the kids, and Ron seems unable to get Hugo to stop crying today." Lisa told Ginny and Hermione with a kind smile and so they nodded, leaving the room after sending Lexi a sympathetic look.

"Listen, honey," Lisa started, sitting on the bed beside Lexi, "you really don't have to worry about your dress."

"But it doesn't fit anymore!" Lexi groaned miserably. "I've been stress-eating!"

"Well... can't you just... you know... do your hocus pocus and make it bigger to fit you?" Lisa asked sheepishly.

Lexi held back the urge to face-palm and laugh at the word 'hocus pocus'. So she just said, "It doesn't work that way. If you want to make a dress larger, it will look worse and wouldn't be as good as new. That's why Hogwarts students have to go for new robes every few years."

"C'mon, wear it again. Maybe if we pull on the zip with a little more pressure, it would go up," Lisa suggested with a goofy grin.

"Yeah, all right," Lexi said with a little sigh, even though there was really no use.

So with the help of her mother, Lexi took off her robe and changed into her wedding dress with difficulty.

"Is it just me, or did I get chubbier since half an hour ago," Lexi said miserably, looking at herself into the mirror. The zipper wouldn't even go half-way up.

"Let me just put a little more pressure... just a tiny bit — oops." Lisa winced when the zip broke. She gulped, looking at Lexi worriedly. "At least can you use magic to fix the zip?"

"Yeah, a simple Mending Charm would do it, but I really don't see the use in it," Lexi said grumpily, moving away from the mirror and dropping herself down on the bed.

They spent the next hour in the room as Lisa tried to comfort her daughter, reasoning that weddings could always be rather overwhelming before the start of the ceremony. But just then, their attention was caught when they heard someone knock at the door to Fleur's room, in which they were.

There had been a conflict between Lisa and Mrs. Weasley. Lisa had suggested that the wedding could be held at a beautiful church, but Molly had insisted that the ceremony would be more glorious if it was held at the Burrow, just like Bill and Fleur's wedding.

But Lexi and Fred had both come up with a better idea in the end. They had decided to hold it at where Bill and Fleur lived at Shell Cottage, on the beach, and everyone was thrilled about this idea.

They had both decided to keep the wedding small with nothing too fancy, despite Mrs. Weasley and Fleur's attempts to make it that way.

"I'll get that," said Lisa after they had heard the knock, and so she walked toward the door and opened it half-way, glancing outside.

"Fred!" Lisa exclaimed in surprise. "You can't come in here! The groom isn't supposed to see the bride!"

"Oh, don't worry, Mrs. Hooper, I'm not Fred." Lexi heard the man say from outside the door. "I'm George."

"Gosh, I'm so sorry. It's so darn hard to tell you two apart." Lisa gave out a nervous laughter.

"It's easy, actually. I'm the more handsome one," he said, making her laugh.

"I'm glad you'e here, now come to think of it," said Lisa. "We're having a zip-emergency. I broke it on her dress. Do you think you can mend it?"

"Yeah, sure." Lexi heard him say from behind the door, while was she still laying down on the bed. "But Mum needed something downstairs and said I should come and get you. Something to do with the Muggle band?"

"Oh, right!" Lisa clapped her hands together excitedly. "I'll be back in a minute." And with that, she left the room.

The next moment, Lexi sat up on the bed when he opened the door and walked in, closing the door behind him again.

"Hey, G —" Lexi was saying, but then she stopped in her tracks the moment she saw him. "Oi! You're not George!"

"Thank Merlin you can tell us apart, otherwise we would be having severe problems in our marriage," said Fred, chuckling as he moved forward with a shopping bag in his hand.

"Of course I can tell you guys apart. I could do it even before George had lost an ear." Lexi smiled proudly. "Mum doesn't know much about these stuff though. She's too caught up with trying to adapt herself into the magical world."

"Meh, it's fine." Fred shrugged, his lips tucked up into a grin. He still hadn't gotten ready for the wedding either.

"What are you doing here, anyway?" Lexi mused, smiling teasingly. "The groom really isn't supposed to see the bride before the wedding."

"Well, Ginny and Hermione came downstairs an hour ago, saying that you were having a wedding dress emergency, so I came up to check up on you," he said, sitting on the bed beside her.

"Yes, the emergency is that I can't fit into my wedding dress and I can't use magic to make it larger, because it would just look weird!" Lexi retorted. "I mean, I know I've been stress-eating a lot in the past few weeks because of the wedding planning, but I didn't expect the zipper to go only half-way up!"

"Maybe you're just pregnant?" Fred joked, causing Lexi to smack him across the arm.

"Hey, I haven't gained that much weight for you to make that joke, mister!" Lexi pointed a warning finger at him playfully.

"I know, I'm just teasing you, love." He smiled. "There's nothing wrong with gaining a little weight. As long as you're healthy, you should love yourself no matter what."

"I know that, Fred. Trust me, I couldn't care less about the way I look, because those things honestly don't matter. But... I had spent weeks looking for the perfect wedding dress."

But then she sighed, looking down.

"I don't know why I've become so sensitive lately because of the wedding," Lexi said earnestly. "I was never the type to gush over these things. It's so unlike me to care about these stuff."

"Well, of course you're sensitive about this. It's your wedding day, for crying out loud! You only get to marry three or four times in your life. That's pretty special," he joked, causing her to throw him a look before they both laughed lightly.

"So what's in that bag?" Lexi questioned, glancing down at the shopping bag on the floor curiously.

"Ah, right." Fred grinned, picking it up and handing it to her. "Go on. Open it."

Lexi hesitated at first, but then she opened up the bag and took out what was inside it, gasping when she saw that it was a long silver dress.

"Oh, my..." she said in a hollow tone, getting up from the bed to examine it perfectly. "Where — when —"

"After Ginny and Hermione told me about your dress, I quickly went down to Diagon Alley and bought it," Fred explained with a little grin dangling from his lips while Lexi examined the silver dress in awe. "I had seen it before while passing the shop. It always reminded me of —"

"— of the dress I wore to the Yule Ball," Lexi completed him, her eyes filling up with tears. "Ugh, these stupid emotions," she said jokingly, trying to blink the tears away.

"Well, go ahead, try it on." Fred encouraged her.

"Fred, I can't wear a silver and simple dress to my own wedding! My mum might be cool with it, but your mum would kill us!" She laughed.

"Yeah, as if you care what others think of you," Fred said sarcastically and gave her a knowing look. "And I won't wear my tuxedo's suit, so we'll be equally informal. How's that?"

"Do you have a death wish?" Lexi chuckled, but she already felt so much more at peace. She always felt this way around him.

"Look, I never cared about the way I look at weddings. It's rubbish, if you ask me. I mean, who even started the tradition of having to wear uncomfortable clothes on your own wedding? He was nutter, whoever it was."

Lexi giggled, before smiling warmly down at him. "Thanks, Freddie."

"Now go ahead and wear it!" Fred urged her on. "Go on!"

"All right, but you need to get out," she said cheekily. "I want it to be a surprise for later on. Hopefully this one would fit..."

Fred sighed playfully, but got to his feet once more. "See you at the altar. Enjoy your last minutes of being a Hooper-Black." And so with one last wink at her, he left the room.

***

Fred soon returned to Bill's room which his brother had given to him for the day so he could get ready. As he had promised to Lexi, he didn't wear his suit so he would look less formal. Mrs. Weasley was definitely going to go crazy, but he had never been a follower of rules anyway.

There wedding ceremony was approaching and Fred was now pacing around the room, deep in his thoughts, that his head shot up when he heard a knock at the door.

"Come in," said Fred and as the door opened, he grinned when he saw George peer his head inside.

"The handsome best man is here," said George smugly, walking in and closing the door behind him again. "How are you holding up, Freddie?"

"Well, seeing as we've been together for around thirteen years, I'm feeling pretty good."

"Thirteen years? What are you talking about, Fred? We've known each other for nearly three decades now!" George gasped dramatically, as if personally offended.

"I meant me and Lexi," Fred said, shaking his head at him mockingly. "And this is exactly why I always tell everyone that I'm the smarter twin."

"But not the sexier one, that's for sure," said George arrogantly as he pointed at himself, fixing his collar with a smug expression on his face.

"So anyway," George went on, clearing his throat and holding a more serious expression. "Mum sent me to ask you if you wanted anything. She's too busy babysitting like... a hundred kids right now."

"No, I'm fine." Fred chuckled. "It's funny, though. We decided to keep the wedding small and only invite close family and friends, but we forgot that the Weasleys aren't really considered a small family."

"Well, of course!" George scoffed. "Considering the fact that you and Lexi are last to get married, and everyone else has at least two kids at this point, then no, we're not qualified as a small family."

"Welp, better go down now," Fred said with a happy grin as his eyes fell upon the clock. "I've waited long enough."

So with that, Fred and George went back downstairs and left Bill and Fleur's cottage, walking through the beach. There, facing the bright blue sea, rows and rows of fragile wooden chairs were set on either sides of a white carpet which was laid on the sand, and the supporting poles of the altar were entwined with beautiful light pink flowers.

Mrs. Weasley was busy looking after little James, Rose, Lucy, and Dominique, meanwhile the older kids were playing in the sand and a few of them were feeding the Plover birds.

Both Hugo and Lily seemed to be throwing a crying fist in their mothers' arms, while Harry was trying to get Albus to cheer up, who seemed to be in a cranky mood today.

"Blimey... fifteen kids," George breathed out, looking around at the crowded beach.

Fred glanced about to see if everything was in order and he saw that Mr. Weasley was standing beside the Muggle band, speaking to them with high interest.

Molly had insisted to have the instruments play by themselves magically, but Lisa had suggested a great Muggle music band for the wedding ceremony. Arthur seemed so excited about that idea that they invited the band in the end, though they had to put a Confudus charm on them.

"Where's Angelina?" George mused, searching the crowd for his wife. "Ah, there she is..." and so he strode away to give her a hand with little Roxanne, after patting Fred encouragingly on the shoulder.

Fred put his hands in his pocket, a smile spreading across his face as he looked around. It was the most exceptionally beautiful day. One that he would carry in his memories forever.

The sand was the most gentle hue of gold, almost earthen and muted. Waves ahead roared and rolled down, crashing onto the shore with a soft hiss. The beach stretched out alongside the water as the sun was setting in the sky like fresh colours brushed upon an artist's canvas. The orange gold rays stretched far and wide, the colour of fire.

But everyone went silent when Lisa exited the cottage and walked toward the crowd, clearing her throat loudly.

"We're ready!" she called out and there was murmurs of excitement as everyone went around to take their places in the rows set before the altar, facing the quiet sea.

Hermione and Ginny had left their newborns in the arms of their fathers and had left inside through the white carpet. With that, Fred and George walked toward the altar and stood on their spot, while the officiant wizard stood in the middle, ready to perform the ceremony.

"Fred!" Mrs. Weasley called out from her seat when she finally spotted her son. "Where is your suit!?"

But before she could panic any more, Mr. Weasley took it upon himself and gestured at the music band to start playing their cellos and violins.

Everyone fell silent and turned to look over their shoulders, sighing dreamily when they saw Lexi walking down the aisle, one hand wrapped around Lisa's arm and the other around his father's, Regulus Black.

"Why hasn't she worn her wedding dress!?" Mrs. Weasley whispered as she felt the feeling of panic surge through her once mor, while everyone else got to their feet.

But then Mr. Weasley wrapped an arm around his wife comfortingly and he shushed her, tears swelling in his eyes.

Ginny and Hermione were both wearing light pink dresses that suited them beautifully as they accompanied the bride up the white carpet set on the sand, and toward the altar.

Fred never admitted to this, but he had been secretly nervous all day. Although as he watched her walk up toward him, he felt a warmth in his heart that made him know that everything was going to be all right. She looked more beautiful than he could ever imagine in her long silver dress and her wavy brown hair falling down her shoulders gracefully, with the veil upon her head.

Once Lexi walked up to the altar, she placed a kiss on both of her parents' cheek before they took their seat in the front row, while Ginny and Hermione stood to Lexi's right. With a nervous smile, Lexi went and stood before Fred, her cheeks blushing a light tint of pink.

"You look beautiful," Fred whispered breathlessly and she winked at him in return.

"Ladies and gentlemen," the officiant wizard started to perform the ceremony as everyone fell silent once more. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the beautiful union of Fred Weasley and Lexi Hooper —"

"Black," Fred corrected him and Regulus smiled to himself. "Sorry. Go on."

"Er — right," said the wizard, blinking a few times. "Fred Weasley and Lexi Black."

As the wizard went on, Lexi and Fred both tried to avoid glancing at each other, because they kept snorting with laughter for no reason each time their eyes connected.

But when it was finally their turn to say their vows, they both tried to suppress themselves.

"Do you wanna read your vows first?" Fred asked Lexi, grinning.

"No, it's fine." She shook a hand at him reassuringly as she smiled. "You can go first, if you like."

"Actually, I think it's better if you go first, cause mine's funnier and it'll make yours look bad if I read mine first," Fred joked, making Mrs. Weasley groan in her seat.

"All right." Lexi chuckled, starting on. "Fred Weasley —"

"Yes?" Fred answered cheekily, making everyone laugh. Although this time Mrs. Weasley face-palmed.

"No, it's part of the vow, you dim-wit!" Lexi rolled her eyes playfully before going on, "Fred Weasley... if someone asked me years ago if I believed in love at first sight, I would've laughed and said no. But I adored you even before the first sight. I fell in love with you in the most unexpected time, and you were there for me when I needed someone the most. Some people may not call what we had romantic, but I still loved every second that I spent with you, no matter how cheesy it was. I love you so much, Freddie. And I'll always love you."

The crowed awed after she was done. Even the little kids had fell silent to watch the beautiful moment between the two as the sun was setting behind them, over the horizon and where the sky touched the sea.

"Damn, now I wish I had gone first," Fred mumbled to himself in remorse and Lexi giggled. But then he cleared his throat, saying, "Lexi... I think it's an understatement to say that no one ever thought they would see this day and witness me get married. Not because I'm repelling to women, though — cause let's face it, I'm gorgeously handsome."

He said with a smug face and everyone chuckled, meanwhile Lee Jordan scoffed mockingly in the crowd, causing both Fred and George to send a sharp glare at his direction.

"Anyway," Fred cleared his throat as he continued, "even I used to think that it was impossible for me to settle down some day, but that was before I fell in love with you, Lexi Hooper-Black-Goldman-and-soon-to-be-Weasley." She laughed at that, shaking her head at him in disbelief. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and to laugh maniacally and love crazily. I love you."

And in that moment, overwhelmed by emotions, Lexi suddenly leaned forward and grabbed onto Fred's collar softly, bringing him down into a kiss.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" The officiant wizard tried to stop them. "We haven't got to that part yet!"

Fred and Lexi both smiled goofily, pulling apart to exchange the rings.

"Do you, Fred Weasley, take this woman as your wife?" said the wizard.

Fred smiled, holding her hands in his. "I do."

     George wolf-whistled and people sniggered.

"And do you, Lexi Black, take this man to be your husband?"

     "Always," she whispered.

At that simple word, Fred leaned down and brought her into another passionate kiss.

"Wait!" said the wizard, huffing as they pulled apart. "I now pronounce you man and wife."

"Can I kiss her now or should I wait until we're eighty?" Fred snapped at the officiant jokingly.

"Yes, you may now kiss the bride."

"Finally! Thank Merlin!" Fred rolled his eyes playfully before wrapping his arms around Lexi bringing her into a kiss as the crowd cheered. Mrs. Weasley was now sobbing uncontrollably.

After the wedding ceremony, the guests went toward the large tent that was set a few feet away, where tables were set and drinks and food were served. The Muggle music band picked up the beat of their songs and everyone gathered in the dance floor, moving around to the rhythm of the music.

"You can never call me Pooper Hooper ever again," said Lexi as her and Fred were dancing in each other's arms, in the middle of the crowd. "I'm a Weasley now."

"Well, technically, you were never a Hooper to begin with," Fred said wittily. "But I reckon I can still call you Sexy Lexi, don't you think, Mrs. Weasley?"

Lexi shrugged, smiling teasingly. "I wouldn't mind."

The night was unforgettable as they all danced and drink and enjoyed themselves to the fullest, having a blast. Draco had arrived to the ceremony slightly late along with his wife and little boy, though Lexi thanked them for coming either way.

It was hard for Lexi to pick her favorite moment of that night, but her dance with her father was certainly one of her favorites. But the sweetest moment was certainly when Mr. and Mrs. Weasley welcomed Lexi to their family with warm hugs and happy tears in both their eyes. Although Sirius's silly jokes and crazy dance-moves throughout the party did lighten everybody's mood even more.

Lisa still hadn't gotten accustomed to the fact that her little girl was getting married, and more so into a Wizarding family. But she had grown to love every single one of them in that one night, spending the majority of the time speaking to Mr. Weasley, so they could speak about the wonders of the Wizarding world and the Muggle world.

Although Lexi was facing a problem throughout the party that night, even though she was trying her best not to show it.

She had been feeling exhausted all evening. At first, Lexi had thought that she was just tired of all the overwhelming wedding planning. But as the hours proceeded and the wedding was soon coming to an end, she started to feel nauseous and rather sick.

She had tried to put a smiley face on, but when Remus and Tonks — who were the last guests — left along with Teddy, Lexi finally sat down, slightly sweating. Now only their parents were left, along with Bill, Fleur, and George.

Fred and George were now in the corner with Bill, drinking their last glasses as they laughed with themselves. But as soon as Lisa saw her daughter from afar, she worriedly walked toward where she was sitting.

"You okay, honey?" Lisa asked her worriedly, sitting beside Lexi.

"Not really," Lexi managed to mumble, closing her eyes to try and take a few deep breaths. "I feel a little sick."

Her mother then placed a hand on Lexi's forehead to check her temperature, feeling that she was slightly hot.

"Do you want to go and see a doctor?" Lisa suggested. "Your honeymoon's in two days. If it's anything serious you should probably get to hospital before then."

"No, it's fine." Lexi shook her head reassuringly. "I'll wait till tomorrow. If I don't get better until then, I'll just go to St. Mungo's."

"Ooh, the hospital you work in?" Lisa asked excitedly, but then she shook her head briskly. "Sorry. Not the time." Lexi chuckled, placing her head on her mother's shoulder.

***

After the party finally came to an end, the newlywed couple left the Shell Cottage and Apparated right before their house in London. But Lexi let out a squeal of laughter when Fred suddenly swiped her off her feet and carried her into their home, bridal style.

"Well, that was a fun night," said Fred with a grin, setting Lexi back down on her feet as they reached their bedroom.

"Yeah," Lexi whispered earnestly with a smile playing on her red lips, and so Fred leaned down, kissing her passionately.

With his hands around her waist and hers wrapped his neck, Fred backed her toward the bed until she fell back against the soft mattress with him hovering above her, deepening the kiss.

But as soon as it had all happened, Lexi suddenly pressed her hands against his chest, slightly pushing him back with a frown upon her forehead.

"You okay?" Fred questioned worriedly, coming to a stop as she sat up straight at the edge of the bed, holding her stomach.

"I — I don't feel so good," she muttered distantly, shutting her eyes close in pain.

"Do you — do you want to go to the hospital?" Fred asked her, starting to get anxious.

Lexi only managed to nod, finding it hard to breathe. So with that, Fred urgently got up and quickly helped her change her clothes into more comfortable ones, before leaving the house and Apparating at the entrance of St. Mungo's hospital.

Once the Healer took Lexi inside the room for a full check up, Fred paced outside in the corridor, his heart pumping hard against his chest as his mind wandered to the worst possibilities. He kept glancing at the clock in the distance anxiously. It was now way past midnight and he was growing impatient.

But after what felt like ages, the Healer opened the door and looked right at Fred. "Mr. Weasley? You may come in."

Gulping, Fred hesitantly walked inside, where he found Lexi laying down on the bed. She was looking a little better after drinking the Potion which the Healer had given her to reduce her nausea.

"May I know your relation?" asked the Healer, looking down at the form he was holding in his hands.

"I'm her husband," said Fred after a short pause, sitting on the chair beside Lexi's bed and holding her hand in his.

"Did you diagnose what was wrong?" Lexi asked the Healer worriedly.

"Yes, I'm almost certain..." he said, placing the form down. "But just to be sure... Mrs. Weasley, have you been feeling sick lately, other than tonight? Any other sign of nausea? Or perhaps feeling of fatigue?"

Lexi felt her heart leap excitedly for being addressed that way, but she shook her head either way.

"I mean, I did throw up last week. Just once," she explained. "It was the morning after — er — my bachelorette party and we've had too much junk food to eat. I figured that was the reason."

"Actually, I believe otherwise," said the Healer, now smiling.

"Then what is it?" Fred asked, holding Lexi's hand even tighter.

The Healer smiled at the couple. "You're expecting a baby. You're pregnant, Mrs. Weasley."
