♡ Chapter One ♡
It was a cool day in Seoul, South Korea, a little bright metallic teal blue car, drove down the road. The owners of the car, the Son family, had just come off the plane from America. Jet lag had started to set in, making everyone tired or sluggish as the car drove down the road. Cars passed them or just stayed behind, also driving down the road the people in them doing their own thing.
A young sixteen-year-old girl, the eldest daughter, had her head slightly out of a rolled down window, looking around with wide bright dark brown eyes eyes. Her silky black hair, that was just below her shoulder blades blew behind her in the wind, her bangs parting in the middle following the wind. Her petite frame leaned towards the door her hands on the resting on the lowered window. The sun beamed down on her peachy porcelain skin and her little button nose slightly scrunched up as she held back a sneeze.
"Mailee, stick your head back in the car you're not a dog." The youngest Son child, a young boy named Minhun, snarkily told his sister, speaking in English. He ran his hand through his short raven black feathery hair, making it stick up in different directions. His brown eyes were quite dull, holding nothing but a darken gaze. The lips were in a thin line, there was little freckle above his right lip and since he wasn't smiling, you wouldn't see the couple baby teeth he still had yet to lose. His short stature was slouched in the bar seat of the car, his arms crossed against his chest.
Mailee frowned as she leaned back in the car, glaring over at him, a noticeable unhappy look was on her face. She picked up her tablet and almost angrily typed away at the keyboard on the tablet. Once she was done, she set it on her lap and pressed the speaker, for it to speak for her. "Minhun, why don't you ever just be quiet for once in your life." the female yet slightly robotic voice had spoken for the girl.
Minhun narrowed his eyes at his sister, a little frown on his lips as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Because I have the opportunity to speak, unlike -" He had been cut off by his mother. He was going to say unlike you, meaning that since his sister couldn't speak, he could say whatever he wanted without having something speak for her. He wasn't sorry for what he did and just looked at his mother as she spoke.
Chae-Yeon ran a hand through her hair, she did not want this happening again. "Minhun, keep quiet if you have nothing nice to say. You need to learn to not speak when you are given the opportunity unless it is something nice." she scolded her son, turning in her seat to meet his eyes. She was not going to tolerate him keeping up saying these hurtful things to his sister her daughter, who was unable to defend herself without help from a tablet or phone.
Mailee knew what he was going to say, and it hurt to know that she would never be able to speak her mind. She just gave the reaction of that a sigh, leaning her head against the back seat and closed her eyes. No one knew the struggle she had and it didn't help when her brother bullied her pretty much for it. On top of that, her father sometimes was quite cold to her when she tried to speak to him, using her tablet.
Chae-Yeon glanced at her daughter, before sending her a soft smile, wishing to pull her into a tight hug. "Apologize to your sister but only when you mean it." She looked at her son as she demanded him pretty much to do what she wanted. Of course, she knew he would only apologize when he thought was best, and it was never meaningful. But at least an apology was better than nothing, and she hoped one day he would mean it.
Minhun frowned as he looked at his mom, and inwardly sighed, closing his eyes so he could roll them and his mom wouldn't even know. "Sorry Mailee, it wasn't right for me to say those things to you. Please forgive me." the basic generic apology that he hoped she would believe and accept so he could move on and not have to deal with this whole thing.
Mailee looked at him, she knew he never meant his apology, but she knew it was also better than nothing. Picking up her tablet, she scrolled through conversations she had saved and put together in her spare time. She pressed the play button after she had found the one she was looking for. "I accept your apology." the robotic female voice said for the girl, having no emotion.
Theo knew he needed to get their minds on something else, so, he quickly started to speak about where they were currently at. "Now, I know you two are so used to speaking English, like now, but away from our home, you are to speak Korean. Yes I know it is a little rough, but it is better than none," a whole six months they had to learn enough Korean to be able to communicate with people.
Minhun looked at his father, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back in his seat. "That is easy for you two to say, you learned Korean when you were young kids, many years ago. We just learned six months ago, I still have trouble with pronunciation!" he couldn't help that it was hard for him and his sister to communicate in a language they didn't grow up around.
Mailee picked up her tablet as her brother was speaking, typing on the keypad what she wanted to add and say. She set it back down on her lap and pressed the speaker button after her brother had finished talking. "Dad, writing is the worst part, by hand that is, I still don't understand most of what the hangul? even means." she honestly was confused, and having to find it on the keyboard when she changed from English to Korean was pretty hard.
Minhun nodded in agreement with his sister on that, he also had a little trouble with figuring out what means what. "She is right, writing it is so hard, I can't seem to fit everything where I write it." he had a problem with trying to space what he needed to. It ended up looking quite like a five-year-old's kid's attempt at writing a paragraph. He cringed at the thought of how bad he was, yet his English writing was perfect.
Chae-Yeon looked at her two children, turning around a bit so she could see them as she spoke to them. "Mailee, Minhun, it takes lots of practice, and they have classes in your school I am sure that will help out. Even if we have to get a tutor for you, we will get whatever it takes so you can speak fluently and clearly without any trouble. Perhaps you guys will make friends who can help you out, that is a hopeful thing to look out for right?"
Minhun groaned leaning his head against the window and letting out a sigh from his lips. "But it is so hard." he had a point, learning another language was hard, took a bunch of time, but in the end, it was worth it. "I don't see how people can speak three or more languages and remember them all perfectly." it just gave him a headache thinking about it.
Mailee picked back up her tablet, typing in a swift manner, wanting to add in before they moved on to something else. "I honestly find it so fascinating, and for me, it seems a bit easier!" she let the tablet speak for her what she wanted to say. Yes, she never had to verbally pronounce it, she had to listen and repeat it in her head so she could understand what it sounds like.
Minhun rolled his eyes at that the tablet had said for his sister, he was obviously annoyed. "Easy for you to say," he mumbles under his breath, really jealous of how much time got spent on her learning Korean and not as much as him. Yet he forgot for her learning a foreign language it was much harder since she couldn't speak the words out loud like her brother could.
Chae-Yeon sighed turning around, this was not how she expected them coming to South Korea was going to be like at all. "Stop complaining will you, you don't sound anything like a Christian. I get this is hard for you both, yet do you see your father and I complaining about this? No, because we know that there was a reason why he had to move to South Korea for your father's job." she was frustrated with her son.
Theo looked in the rearview mirror, looking directly at his son every so often as he drove down the roads, taking turns to go to their house. "Your mother is right, Minhun, I do not want to hear another word from you that is not happy. There are a bunch of things to do here, you just have to try and find them. Your mother grew up here, so, she would know more about South Korean than I do."
Minhun looked at his father, his eyes lingering on him before shifting over to his mother. "Alright, but she didn't grow up in Seoul though . . . but I do see how she would know more about here than any of us." he had to admit if anyone knew more about their new home than anyone was his mom. "You did move from here to the U.S., so you do understand what it is like. But you have done it before, we haven't."
Chae-Yeon raised her eyebrows at what her son had said, crossing her arms over her chest. "And I am a testimony to show that there is nothing wrong with moving, I am all fine and dandy." she had no problem with moving, and she understood the cons to it. Yet the pros were more in their side than the cons, mainly because being someone where helps you appreciate life." having been there, done that, her words were true.
Mailee pulled her tablet away from her chest, she turned it on and began to type on her notes in a swift manner. She had mastered the art of typing fast, only because she had to in order to not be left out or make people wait for her to reply. She pressed the play button, letting the female robotic voice speak for her as she always did. "Mom is right, I know this is gonna be hard for us, but we are family, we can get through this!" she then gave a smile, looking at her mom, then dad and then her brother.
Theo looked back at his daughter, giving her a smile at her words. "Couldn't have said it better myself," oh how he longed for her to say that herself, of course, he knew he would never get that. Every now and then he would feel that emptiness of never hearing his daughter talk, and at times like these, he could not keep a smile on his face for too long. "We can get through anything." ouch, his own words stepped on his own toes.
Chae-Yeon rested her hand on her husband's shoulder, giving him an encouraging smile. "I know it has been hard for all of us, but look at where we are at now? God has helped us, and as a family, we leave it to him." she could tell that he was bothered by the fact his daughter could talk, again. It seemed to come and go for him like the windy days, ups and downs like the mountains. She had come to accept what her daughter had, her husband hadn't.
Theo looked up at his wife, giving her a little smile, understanding what she had said, so he gave her a nod. "I know, He has helped us, yet it doesn't mean we can't be nervous about the future." that did scare him, like many, not knowing what the future held for you was scary. "Let's hope it is all good or is almost good, nothing bad. I don't do bad that well as we all know."
Chae-Yeon withdrew her hand from her husband's shoulders, slipping her hand into his, lacing her fingers with his. "That is a flaw, but we all have them, and there is nothing wrong with having flaws." she had her own, and that was being a bit of a pushover and a bit to laid back person. She sometimes became a doormat, not meaning to, it just happens sometimes when she least expects it.
Theo glanced down at her hand before looking back up at the road, he let go of her hand so he could put them back on the steering wheel. "A major flaw, but I am working on it with help." he was doing his best, with God's help, to be a better person and father, to not care about his daughter not being able to speak. He knew it was hard enough for her to be in a world where she had no voice, and it was even harder when he gave her the cold shoulder.
Mailee looked at her parents and listened to what they had said, even he had flaws but she never held anything against her dad. After having picked up her tablet and typed in what she wanted to say, she let it speak for her. "Mom is right, I have very many flaws. And I am working on them, however, that doesn't mean we can't slip up by mistake and let them display themselves. We're human, we're bound to have flaws."
Theo looked in the rearview mirror at his daughter, a smile broke on his lips at the words the tablet had spoken for her. He had no clue what he would do without her, and he knew she was right, he struggled so hard with his flaws. "Once again, my daughter, you are absolutely right. I just wish I was better at letting myself let them go and not hold them against myself for a long time."
Mailee typed on her tablet, smiling softly at his praise, it not only made her feel better, but it made her feel like she can do things that others could, just in a different way. She hit the speaker, so it spoke these words to her. "I know dad, we all do, we all have it that way to a certain extent." she knew she had a hard time letting herself forgive herself for stupid little slip-ups.
Chae-Yeon smiled at her daughter's words, her eyes looked around, they turned down a road and passed by some houses. "We are coming up on our new house kids!" she pointed to a modest house, one floor, wide in length, medium size, modern architecture, nice little yard that had a fence to fence it in. She, of course, would start a garden, but that was for another time.
Mailee perked up, looking around with bright eyes trying to keep her surrounds locked right in her mind for later. Once her eyes laid on the house, she found it beautiful, the light blue color and the shape was quite unique, oak colored shutters, windows, and door made it beautiful. She had to admit, being here wasn't that bad, after all, the house was beautiful and looked safe. She could not wait to get out and start to look around, even go to her bedroom.
Minhun, on the other hand, was not too happy about moving, unlike his sister he had friends he had to leave his school. The time zones would make it a little hard to keep in touch, but he would manage. He looked at the house, it was a nice looking house, but not the one he had grown up in. "We're here, yay." he opened the door and stepped out, grabbing his backpack and slinging it over his shoulder.
Chae-Yeon couldn't remember the last time she had seen such a beautiful house. "It is beautiful huh? Check out the rooms, they are even better." she was actually quite happy with their new house. "I know it may not be our old one, but everyone moves into a new house. Whether it be when you're single or married." she rested her arm on her daughters' shoulders, who had just gotten out of the car clutching her tablet close to her chest.
Mailee nodded her head, her newly put up ponytail swishing at her actions, looking up at her mom with her bright eyes, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips. She looked back at the house and took in a deep breath, taking it all in. It was beautiful, no, breathtaking to look at, the architecture was simply amazing. The warm sun in her face, made her feel nostalgic, like the memories of her childhood and being in her own backyard.
Minhun stood beside his sister, unlike her, he was not excited and bright eyes, more like dulled eyes. He heard what his mother said, and had heard her way that many times before. All their time of packing up, he had heard her say that every time he gave a little huff. "I guess it's cool, however, I still miss our old house. Some people don't like moving, I know I don't, nor did my friends who I had to leave behind."
Chae-Yeon looked over at her son, a frown replaced the smile she had had on her lips. "Minhun, it is life, everything happens for a reason. Now you need to look for that reason and stop complaining about everything! Complaining is getting you nowhere, all it is doing is making me want to punish you for it." she knew her son needed to learn how to not be such a pessimist all the time, much like his father.
Theo, after having pulled into the driveway and shut off the car, and let his family get out first as he grabbed the bags from the trunk, he put his hand in his pocket. After a few moments, he pulled out two keys. "Minhun, Mailee, here are the keys to the house. If we are never home, you can get into the house." he handed them to his kids, just glad for them to have the responsibly of what they didn't have at the old house back in the States.
Minhun took the key and looked at it, he nodded and put it on the little keychain he had, which had two other keys on it. One was for the lock for his bike and the other was for the car, he felt pretty important. "Thanks, dad, but I doubt I will be out and about without you guys. I would hate to get lost and not have wifi to hook up to until you can switch the phone company." he gave his father a smile, walking through the yard, not on the sidewalk.
Mailee shoved the key into her jean shorts pickets before quickly typed away at the tablet as her brother spoke to her father, hoping to be able to get it typed out so she could thank him. Once her brother had stopped speaking, she pressed the button for it to speak what she had. "Thank you, dad! I do hope to make friends so I can use this key when you're not home." she gave a wavering smile, only because going to a school was something scary for her.
Theo gave her a smile, listening to the tablet to speak for her, pained him, like any parent it would. He pushed the feeling aside and nodded along before replying. "You both are welcome, and I am sure you both will make friends. Don't worry, everything had a plan, just keep an eye out for it." he tried to be encouraging to his kids since he knew they needed it more now than ever.
Minhun looked up at his dad, he had already made friends back in the States, it was harder to make friends with people who you did not know. "Let's hope," he then thought these words to himself. 'Because I doubt I will make friends, I'm not the type people like to hang out with.' all that meant he was not such a conversation starter and hated walking up to people to say hello.
Chae-Yeon motioned for her family to follow her as she walked up the steps to the door. She put the key into the lock, turning it and unlocking the house. She turned the knob and opened up the door, the cool air from the air conditioner hit them all like a wave of icy freezer air. "Someone has it to cold in here." she set down her purse, slipped off her shoes and walked over to the thermostat and turned it down.
Mailee's eyes were wide with marvel as she walked into the open entryway/living room/kitchen. She set down her backpack on the floor beside the couch after she had taken off her shoes. With curiosity-filled eyes she bounced over to the window and opened up the blinds, letting the sunshine into the room. She saw most of their furniture was scattered around the room, boxes were all over the place but seemed to have been carefully handled at least.
Theo set down some duffle bags on the floor, then turned to his son as he ran a hand through his hair. "Minhun, can you help me bring in the suitcases? I need a strong man to help me." he needed help bringing in the stuff they had brought with them on the plane. But he was met with silence from his son, who was opening up a box. "It is just a few though, but I would like some help."
Minhun stopped and looked over at his father, giving a heavy sigh he nodded his head and pivoted around walking to him. "Alright." that was all he said as he followed his father out to get the suitcases they had brought on the plane. "Dad, where are all my boxes?" he hadn't seen any boxes with his name on them.
Theo opened the trunk of the car and handed his son a smaller suitcase filled with some of their shoes. "Your grandmother said she had out all our stuff in our rooms since your mother labeled where they were all to go. We have already told you before we left America, you grandparents had made sure all the things we sent got here and were account for. Of course, we can thank your mother's organization skills for most of it."
Minhun took the suitcase and set it on the ground, the pulled out the handle then took a duffle bag from his father. "Oh right, I had forgotten. Jet lag is really doing a number on me, I could sleep the rest of the day!" he was tired, but it still was no excuse, well, at least for his mother. His father had no problem accepting it since he understood the jet lag of tiredness overtook everything you did and thought.
Theo chuckled, getting out two big suitcases with a nod of his head, the wind slightly messing up his hair. "It is all fine, I understand. I almost forgot how to get here, and I should have used the GPS." he walked down the path to the front door, watching and making sure his son was following him. "Let's just be glad we did not get lost."
Minhun nodded in agreement, he was quite glad they did not get lost in Seoul since that would be quite bad for all of them. "I would have hated to gotten lost, it would have taken longer for me to get a nap in before I fix up my room." he gave a little yawn, setting the bags on the floor, by the couches. He waited for his father, so they could go get more suitcases.
Theo looked back at his son, raising an eyebrow at what he had said to him, setting down the suitcases and walking back out. "You know you have to make your bed, right?" he knew they beds were not made already. It was impossible for them to get fully made beds across the world. It may happen in books that way, but not in the real world. He was shocked that they didn't have to get a brand new bed or even mattress.
Minhun groaned following behind his dad like a lost little puppy, a frown on his face at the words of his father. "Your kidding? I am too tired to make a whole bed up by myself . . ." he was not thrilled about doing it, but the look his father gave him, he added the next sentience rather quickly. "But I can manage, I will be fast since a full-size bed is not that big."
Theo handed his son the last small duffle bag and grabbed out the two other suitcases. "In that case," he held up the suitcases trying to make a pun. "You better go put that down and away so you can make your bed sooner," he told him, walking inside the house and setting them down, before going out and grabbing the last two and setting them inside the house, after locking the car.
Minhun rushed in putting the duffle bag down, then rushed off to his room. He was going to get it made so he could at least take a small nap before he began to put away everything and made his room feel like a room. "Sooner I get it done, faster I can get my nap." he ripped open the boxes and got out the sheets he needed to put over the mattress.
Mailee, on the other hand, was helping her mother get the kitchen all set up. She had traded her tablet for her phone, so it would be easier to type when she needed to speak. She neatly put away in the silverware container her mom had out into the drawers. Everything had to be perfect, otherwise, it bugged her and she would end up having to fix it.
Chae-Yeon walked past her daughter, putting away all their cups and glasses in the cabinets on the wall above the counter. "Thank you again for helping me Mailee, I am sure you are hungrier than you are tired right?" she knew her daughter had to be more hungry than tired, who wouldn't be? She hadn't eaten since they left which had been a very long time.
Mailee pulled out some gloves and put them on, so her hands stayed clean as she pulled out her phone and quickly typed a reply. "You're welcome, mom. I am a bit hungry, however, we may need to go shopping for refrigerator food since we have none." the phone had spoken to her. She knew they finished up all the food back home because they couldn't take it with them or fly it, it would go bad.
Chae-Yeon nodded, glancing over at her daughter as she had listened to what the phone had spoken. "I have to agree, but first, let's eat something or at least snack on something that down at have to be made." she did not plan on going shopping until the kitchen was at least put together. Yes, it may take a while, but at least it was worth it in the end and they could eat a normal meal.
Mailee quickly typed in what she wanted to say to her mom and played it for her mom to hear. "Alright mom, whatever is easiest for you, I will do." she smiled taking off her gloves after setting down her phone, she went back to organizing the silverware drawer. She had to make sure everything was perfect and neat, it was a pet peeve she had.
Theo then came around the corner, he smiled at his busy bee family, who was fixing up the kitchen. "Hands washed, what shall I help with my dear?" he showed his hands to his wife like a little child, trying to hold back a laugh. "I know how you hate people touching cabinets without washing their hands." who could blame his wife? The dishes within the cabinet, along with the handles, were supposed to be clean, so, when you open it up, none of the dishes inside the cabinet would get dirty.
Chae-Yeon looked over ay her husband from putting the rest of the cups in the cabinet. "You can put away the boxed and dry foods away in the pantry please?" she was asking in a polite way, needing that to be put away so she could figure out which of the boxes has the plates. She walked over to another open box and pulled out some bowls, which she put away in the cabinet closest to Mailee.
Theo gave her a cheeky grin as he had heard what she had said. He had a plan, well, it was more of joking around with her than anything. "Are you sure? Don't blame me if all the mint cookies have been finished." he did like the mint cookies, and occasionally sneaked them when he was feeling hungry.
Chae-Yeon just looked at him, crossing her arms over her chest and giving that serious look. The thin one-sided frown, the narrowed eyes and slightly raised eyebrows, all because of his remark. She needed not to say a word, just her expression and body language was showing. She knew he would snack on cookies in between meals, he would always come out with chocolate on his mouth.
Theo gave a chuckle, he knew she was not going to say a word to him. So he needed to tell her it was merely a joke, that he was not going to do it anytime soon. "I'm joking, food first then dessert." he pointed out, taking out some boxes and carrying them over to the pantry. "I don't want to spoil my lunch, brunch? Because cookies won't do justice when my stomach needs food."
Chae-Yeon cracked a smile on her lips and let her arms fall to her sides relaxing. She picked back up the bowls and began to put them away once again, glancing in his direction. "You are such a child." she gave a laugh at his comment, wasn't all men childish at times? Her father was that way when she was younger but when she got older he matured.
Theo poked his head out of the pantry, giving a wide cheeky smile at her comment. "All men can agree at one point we never lose it, even though we need to." he knew it was okay to not act your age occasionally, but not all the time. You did need to act grown up if you were since you had priorities to do than you couldn't do when you were younger.
Mailee had to admit, no matter what happened they stayed together. Even with the little fights, they made up and got over it. No insults or anything of that nature was said during the argument, which is very rare when people are fighting, no matter who it is. She did want to get married and be like her parents, even at the low times, they found a way to get up and work on their flaws.
But she was scared about getting married, she couldn't communicate with her child or her husband without the tablet or phone. She felt she would be like a burden to them just because she wasn't like everyone. She pushed those thoughts out of her head, needing to focus on putting the other utensils that are used in baking and cooking.
Chae-Yeon noticed the frown on her daughters face, the only times she had it was when her brother was being mean, her father being cold to her, or she was thinking about all the things she couldn't do. She knew she had to get her mind off of it. "Alright, how about we take a break and go get food?"
"I in the middle of trying to take a nap!" Minhun called from his room, burying his head back in the fluffy pillow of his neatly made bed. He had just gotten it made up, and the moment he decided to try and take a nap, his mom suggests them to go out to eat. "I just want an hour nap if possible please!"
Chae-Yeon came out from the kitchen and walked down the little hall and into her son's doorway. "I know you are tired, but would you rather go to sleep on a full stomach and stay asleep for more than an hour?" she asked leaning on the doorway of his room, glancing around at the boxes all over the place and the furniture that hadn't been arranged.
Minhun looked up at his mom, rubbing his eyes and rolling on his back. He gave a heavy sigh that was a tad bit longer and more dramatic than most sighs. "Alright, just can I at least close my eyes in the car?" he sat upon his bed, giving his mom little puppy eyes about what he had just asked for her to let him do.
Chae-Yeon nodded her head, a smile gracing her lips, it was a little compromise she could allow for her son. "Alright, just come on, we are all waiting on you." She walked out of the room and into the living room, grabbing her shoes she slipped them on, watching Theo walk beside Mailee to the car.
It was one sweet memory she would keep in her mind forever to remember. She did sigh, wishing her son would take after this part of her husband, his dad, and not the other part, his flaws. She didn't know how much longer it would be before Theo could accept what his daughter wasn't able to do, and for Minhun to not be so jealous. It just took time, a time she dreaded waiting for.

A/N:
Yo, I am back with the first chapter, and be on the look out for another one here in the few days. Since the chapters will have 5k or a little more than 5k depends on the setting and what is going on. It isn't going to be as long as "The Briarwood Manor Mysteries" like I have said before. It will he shorter and a little longer than that book, yet this will only be one book.
I will edit the chapters later, because let's admit it, as authors we find mistakes and figure out things don't sound as good as we thought they would be. So, yeah, but not any time soon, if I do, it is only because I caught my mistakes and will fix them!
I have been quite busy which is why I didn't get it finished like I said on the day. I am learning to drive and dang, it is just, my mom yells at me all the time so I am a little stressed out. On top she knocks down my confidence saying I am being cocky (I can never be cocky, I have no self esteem or confidence and when I get a little she is like don't be cocky and it goes down)
Also, I have been having some very hard times wirh being betrayed by people who I thought were my friends. Slowly seeing who are my true friends and who were fake ones who never really cared about me. They only pretended to, and friends don't turn on you for one mistake or correction. Let's admit, we all want to be corrected when we are saying some that isn't right. We don't want to keep saying the wrong thing, especially when you don't even have a clue about what you are talking about.
Now I am doing my best to get these don quickly and in a timely manner so you guys don't have to wait long. In the mean time while you wait, I got three other (well two right now) that have chapters to read, only one of those I still have to get the first chapter done. Oh on that note, I'm am slowly staying out of rps so I do have more time to write, so, yay!
Also, if you know anyone who is looking for books to read, you can always suggest mine if you like it that much. I lobe hearing peoples thoughts about mu work, because it helps me to keep going and shows me that people really dl care about my books and the message I have in them. Yes they are all clean (meaning nothing mature or curse words) so anyone can read them!
Chapter Talk:
So, we have hit the fast forward button into the time where they are in, having just moved to South Korea. There isn't much to dwell on her early like, for the fact it doesn't really have anything to do with this book. (That will be for another book or fanfiction, whatever people want).
As you can see, they have a son, who is jealous of his sister and not the nicest person. Let's admit, we have all had moments were our siblings are horrible to us, whether they be older or younger. My younger sister and I get along most of the time, yet the other we are arguing, ignoring each other, or are just plan annoyed.
I know how much work it is moving into a new place, have done it twice and will be doing it again, ugh. It is no fun and moving across the world and still have to fix up the house after having jet lag and flying for ours upon hours never seems fun. I hate moving, it is so annoying and trying, once it is done it is so much better.

How would have you acted if you had to move to another country, where you barely spoke or have even mastered the language?
It would be pretty hard for me, since I'm not the fastest at learning to speak anything but Spanish (so easy). Minhun pretty much was half of us, how we all would have acted at one point now, in the past or in the future.
And lastly, anything else I forgot ask away my pals. I am happy to answer anything!
In closing, all rude, impolite and mean comments will be replied to in a diplomatic way, reported or deleted if I feel like it is attacking me personally.
Thanks for reading!
