So, as some of you might know, I've recently become obsessed with the musicals Dear Evan Hansen and Be More Chill (I even started a crossover, go read it or something); but more specifically, I've fallen in love with the character of Connor Murphy. He's so fun to draw, I love his character in general, despite the fact his death was the catalyst of the whole DEH plot. There aren't a lot of scenes with him in the musical, and there's a lot more from his perspective in the book. And as always, side characters are my favourites, so... I drew him!

I used a base as a reference for the pose but everything else is my own. I'm trying to learn anatomy properly for this new style, or at least use more references, but this was only intended to be something small. I ended up colouring it properly, though. So here it is!!

I really love the way I coloured it this time (I used a base colour and slightly lowered the opacity of the main colouring so they blended together better!) and I'm pretty proud of the expression, which is something I think I need to work on more — it's satisfying to see it work.

I know it's not my usual OC content, but I really loved this piece and I just wanted to share it. I hope you like it as much as I did!
