After I did Celia as a grunge kid, I had to redesign Mabel in a something-core aesthetic. I took one of those buzzfeed quiz things... and it came out with VSCO. Which I don't think is accurate. So I changed it.

I think she fits more into the kidcore aesthetic — 90's style nostalgic clothes, bright colours, stickers, bunches, the whole enchilada (yes that was a PJO reference, get off my case). So that's exactly how I drew her. I guess this is kind of a series now, especially as I'm probably gonna do Dipper next, then all my OCs... then me, if I can be bothered. Any characters you want to see me do, lemme know! I really need requests...

Anyway, here's Mabel in the kidcore aesthetic/style! I kinda love how it turned out, lemme know what you think!

I gave her buns, kinda like Princess Leia's, and the twin scrunchies because it suits her and the style better than her normal hairstyle. I added the plaster (Band-aid) to her cheek as that's often included, plus the little patches to her dungarees. You may notice some familiar shapes on the dungarees—
I took her hair and skin tone directly from a picture of her so it is accurate, and used a lot (and I mean a lot) of references for her clothes. And I shaded this time, yay!

Give me ideas for characters to do in different styles, I think it would be interesting to see what you come up with! I wanna draw me in glitchcore or punk/emo, glitchcore because... I'm Glitch (plus it's hella pretty) and punk or emo (or grunge) because that's how I actually dress. I'll get around to that eventually, but for now, requests are open as always, and I hope you enjoyed this update!!
