So as some of you (probably all) know, around August last year I drew Mabel Pines in the 'kidcore' aesthetic. And I decided to revisit it a couple days ago, and redraw it, and finished it today!! Fully shaded, coloured and everything (for once), here's the original design:

I used the original colour palette but changed a couple aspects. It's really annoying how it's tilted but I'd started colouring when I realised and it was too late to do anything about it. I changed the jumper/sweater because a lifted hand was too complicated for me to add stripes to, and some flowers in the dungarees to make it less plain.

That's my five months improvement, and I'm honestly really proud of it. I love these comparison art thingys, and I'm hoping to do more in future. Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!!
