A new species I made up! I've been thinking about this one for a while but I only just drew it XP

Royalty-

Queen: Quartz

Princesses:
sapphire
Ruby

Prince:
Amethyst

Palace: made of crystal into sort of an else palace.

History: their first queen was queen jade and they originally lived in jade mountain (that's why it's called jade mountain, after queen jade). All the winglets are named after the gemwing queens.

  Description-

Unlike any other dragon they have fur which is why some people call them fur wings. They also have fur at the top of the underside of their wings.
They have a pointed tail that is used mainly as a weapon.
They have gems on the edge of their wings that determines their rank I guess.
5- royalty it is possible but very rare that someone with less than 5 gems can have a dragonet with 5 gems. That dragonet and their parents will move closer to the palace so the dragonet can still be with their family and be royalty. 

4- this one is the step down from royalty. They are respected above all but the royal family. 4 gems are normally gemwing soldiers or are in charge of helping the royals.

3- these can also be soldiers and it is very rare that one will be able to be given an important position with the 4 gems. but most live a normal dragon life.

2- almost all of them are just normal dragons but there are a few who are kicked out depending on the queens choice. No one looks up to the 2 gems except the generous who look beyond the number of gems.

History-

Gemwings are a hidden tribe that most believe to be just a myth, a fairy tail. Their crystal palace is lurking somewhere far from pyrra but many gemwings do go to pyrra, a few even get to go to jade mountain academy but when anyone sees them and tells other people they don't believe them. The gemwings are trying to move their home to pyrra so they can interact with other dragons.

-there is an animus in their tribe
-time travel.
