Jungkook isn't very fond of the idea of being away from the members for so long.

He does love to see the other members thrive, however. Their solo projects are all amazing and he gets inspired by each and every single one of them. Namjoon's lyricism is very insightful. Hoseok's album has Jungkook silently walking out of the studio because he's thinking so hard about his own album and what he can do with it. He wants to be cool like the two of them. And he wants to be as cool as the others as well, and that's why he pays close attention to their songs when they show each other.

Jungkook wants to be cool like all of them.

And he succeeds in being cool, but gets teased in the process. The other members playfully tease and ask about his songs and lyrics, and Jungkook feels himself blushing whenever one of them asks him who the songs are about.

"They're just songs that were given to me," he says, denying that he had someone in mind when he was recording those songs. He definitely didn't. They're just songs.

If his mind drifted off a few times in thought of one of the members, he never once mentioned it to anybody; not because he doesn't want them to know, but because he denies it himself. He definitely did not think about their oldest member when he was recording the MV to Seven, thinking about how he'd so annoy the older if they were in the same situation—why would they ever be in the same situation?

Jungkook had brushed off the thought back then.

Now, he still does, even if he stares at a photo of Jin's military-given muscles for a beat too long. Seokjin had sent the photo specifically to him just to tease, saying his muscles are definitely bigger than the maknae's, and Jungkook obviously had to flex and send a photo of himself working out just to show off to the older. It's just their thing.

Ever since they got in the military, the only thing they can do is message each other and call a few times. Jungkook is so used to annoying Seokjin all the time and now the only way to do it is over the phone like this. However, Seokjin gets out of the military soon and he's positive he's going to see everything the eldest does from his first solo album to all the promotions and campaigns he has lined up. He just knows that Seokjin is going to tease the others by posting photos of them or something—he can't wait to get out and tease Seokjin in person. He misses that more than anything.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

Seokjin gets out of the military tomorrow.

He's so excited to get out and do so many things for himself and ARMY. He's got an album prepared, performances he'll be doing, shows he'll be on. And when they're all seven together as BTS, he'll have even more to do for fans with the other members like their album, MVs, performances, shows, and collabs with fashion brands and Jin Ramen.

Speaking of Jin Ramen, Seokjin is shocked when he finally does get out of the military because the CEO—Choi Changjun—is waiting for him with his daughter—Choi Hayun. They're both clearly excited to greet him and celebrate his release, and Jin doesn't greet them until after he's done greeting his parents and the CEO of BigHit. When he does greet them, he notices just how excited Hayun is.

Hayun didn't seem this enthusiastic when Seokjin had first met her about two years ago, when he'd done a photoshoot for Jin Ramen before. Changjun had brought his daughter to meet him on set, of course, and Seokjin was nice to both of them; that's probably why they're here now, to congratulate him on completing his service.

But Hayun looks overly excited, waving at him enthusiastically, and she seems desperate to meet him. Seokjin is cautious as he walks up to them.

"Jinnie!" she calls out, almost like a whole new person than when he'd first met her. When they'd first met, she didn't even seem to know much about Jin or BTS in general. She simply knew that they were the most popular K-pop group. Now, she's squealing like a fan and greeting him like she knows him well enough to call him: "Oppa! I've been waiting for you to return for so long!"

Seokjin is genuinely confused. It seems like he's walked into a different universe. Maybe he has, who knows?

"You've... been waiting... for me?" Seokjin sounds unsure, glancing over at Changjun, who's smiling like a proud father. "Hi, sir. It's nice to see you again."

Changjun congratulates him on returning home, but Hayun interrupts by placing her hand on Seokjin's arm, almost making Seokjin jump right out of his skin. "Jinnie, you're so buff now!" she squeezes his bicep, which has Seokjin looking at her with wide eyes. He has no clue what she's doing or why she's doing it. "Did they treat my Jinnie well in the military? You've got so toned now. You should show me your abs—!"

"Haha," Seokjin forces out, pulling his arm away slowly until Hayun begins pouting up at him. "I'm really exhausted, actually. I think I'm going to go home now. I miss home, you know?"

Changjun nods. "Yes, you need to rest up, Seokjin-ah."

"But Jinnie," Hayun calls out, and it's still so odd to Seokjin because he recalls Hayun being shy and quiet. "I haven't gotten to see you in so long! We need to hang out. You never even gave me your number when we last saw each other."

Seokjin gives her a small, forced smile. He has plenty of friends. He feels too awkward giving this woman his number, especially considering the way she's obviously trying to flirt with him and claim him as her Jinnie. Besides, Seokjin already has someone else in mind.

"Maybe next time," he lies.

Hayun clearly isn't too fond of this response, so she wraps her arms around Seokjin's arm to keep him from walking away too quickly. "You promise?" she asks, and it's Seokjin's bodyguard who steps in this time, peeling her off of him, but he calms the guard down and bows for the misunderstanding, not liking how Changjun looks upset by the action.

"Sorry," he apologizes as he backs away, bowing politely as he makes his way out of the situation. Hayun is pouting, upset by the interaction, but Seokjin hurries away before things turn from bad to worse. He thanks his bodyguard, too, however. If it weren't for him, she would've clung on like a koala, and he definitely doesn't want those rumors brewed upon himself.

As he makes his way out and to the company SUV, he feels a little icky. Since he's been in the military, he forgot how weird some people can get. Especially obsessive fans—not that Hayun is a fan or anything. Unless she became a fan while he was gone...

Seokjin shakes his head to dismiss the possibility. It doesn't matter anymore. He won't see her anytime soon, anyway. The only possible meeting with Hayun that he can think of is if she's there in 2025, when BTS will be the ambassador for Jin Ramen as a group. But that's a year from now, so he's fine. Plus, he'll be with the other members.

He's fine!

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

When Seokjin gets to his apartment, he feels at home. In all honesty, he'd feel more at home if he had the other members here with him. Their presence is absent and the apartment is too quiet. The living room isn't filled with chaos and there's nobody to cuddle up to him in his bed, or the sound of people doing their things in the background. There's no Yoongi in his bedroom and no Hoseok to snuggle up into. There's no Taehyung and Jimin messing around and teasing the others, and there's no mess created by Namjoon to scold anyone else about.

There's no Jungkook.

That's just it. There's no Jeon Jungkook here, which bothers Seokjin slightly more than the rest. Namjoon was right when he said that Seokjin and Jungkook can't live without each other; Seokjin and Jungkook have always been a constant in each other's life, teasing to no end. It's odd not to have him by his side, but it's not the absence of Jungkook in his apartment that makes him realize this. He's known this for a while now—ever since he moved into this apartment, before he even went to the military.

The lack of physically being able to see Jungkook would've driven him insane if it weren't for the fact that they message each other all the time. Any chance Seokjin gets, he messages the maknae. Like right now, he's lying in bed and messaging Jungkook, telling him how great his Weverse live was and asking Jungkook how his training is going.

For days after Seokjin gets out of the military, he messages the group chat and tells the others just how amazing it is to be free now, and that he's waiting for Hoseok so they can be free together. He talks about how ready he is to perform and the others tell him that it's an amazing experience, that he'll have so much fun with ARMYs now that he's out.

Jungkook tells him he'll watch all of his performances and it has him smiling as he walks down the sidewalk, looking like a fool in love.

The area he lives in is very secluded for idols and chaebols, so it's common to see other celebrities and rich people walking around. Still, it doesn't keep Seokjin from being surprised whenever he sees someone running straight up to him. He jumps, nearly dropping his phone, and he looks at the person like they're crazy for rushing up to him. The person, however, is Hayun, and she doesn't look sorry at all for scaring him.

"Jinnie!"

Jinnie wants to curse this woman and call her crazy.

"Hi," he greets her instead, not bothering to hide the stern look in his eyes. "You ran up fast. That honestly scared me, Hayun."

"Ah, oppa," she lightly taps his arm, being playful. "I just wanted to say hi. I didn't know you lived in this area. We should hang out!"

Seokjin gives her a small, extremely unwilling smile. "Maybe sometime. I have to go to work now, and I have a lot of stuff to do in the next few months... so..."

Hayun flicks her long black hair back and tilts her head, giving him a sickenly sweet smile. "You're so hardworking, oppa. I'll wait for you."

A shudder runs up Seokjin's spine at the idea of Hayun waiting for him. Honestly, he blames his handsome looks and the fact that he's so successful now. Everybody treats him like he's gold. And now Hayun, who he barely even knows, is trying to treat him like a best friend or worse.

Still, he doesn't want to be rude to the Jin Ramen CEO's daughter.

"You'll be waiting for a long while, Hayun. I'll see you later." He steps by her and goes about his day, feeling awkward as he tries to record music. He can't shake off the feeling that he lives in the same area as Hayun. They'll most likely have more interactions like that, and he's already drained now, so he can't imagine the future.

He messages Jungkook to keep his mind distracted and it works perfectly because by the end of the day, he's back to smiling and feeling as light as a feather. He knew this would be the case, though. Jungkook always makes Seokjin feel this way.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

It's odd. It's suffocating.

It's only been two weeks since he's been home and he's seen Hayun at least five times. She's everywhere he goes, he realizes. It's extremely odd and very specific.

The first two times were at the military ceremony and on his walk to work, and the next three times are just the same: weird.

She finds him on the sidewalk again, when he's on his way home from work—it's late in the evening, too, which is confusing to Seokjin. He has no idea why she's out so late, but he goes with it and tells her his day was nice, asking if she had a nice day as well. She becomes ecstatic and talks on and on about her days, saying she missed Seokjin, and that's when Seokjin has to pry himself away from her and run away because what the hell does she miss me for?

The second time is weirder because he swears he feels someone watching him and it's such an icky feeling that he unfortunately has felt time and time again, but never in the safety of his own living area where life is secluded from other citizens. Hell, celebrities can freely go on dates where he lives because only certain people are allowed through the gates, so he has no idea why he feels like he's being stalked.

Until she appears. Right as he's about to leave the grocery store.

"Oh, oppa! You're here!"

A sense of regret swarms over Seokjin for ever allowing her to become so comfortable around him from the moment they met again at the military base. Because now she's trying to lock arms with him and all he can do is back away awkwardly and look down at her as she frowns.

"Sorry, I have to go. I'm late for a promised Weverse live for ARMYs."

Her eyes light up. "Aww, are you cooking for your fans?" she questions, and oddly enough, Seokjin did tell ARMY that he was going to cook for them and teach them his special recipe tonight. Hayun grazes her fingers along his arm. He hates it. "I'll watch your live, Jinnie. Have fun! I hope your meal is tasty!"

He gives her a small smile and then rushes away. When he gets home, he scrubs his hands clean and specifically scrubs the spot where she'd touched him as well.

When he goes live, he's surprised to see Jungkook commenting on Weverse, and his heart melts as the younger asks him how his day was. He tells him, "My day was alright. I got some recording done and now I can relax and cook for ARMY. How was your day, Jungkookie?"

The comment Jungkook leaves makes Seokjin's ears turn red.

My day is better now because of you, hyung

The third time Hayun coincidentally runs into him, it doesn't seem like much of a coincidence anymore. He's walking to work yet again and she rushes up to him, scaring him once again, and she goes on about how she tried his recipe and how amazing it was, and My Jinnie cooks so well, when will you cook something for me, hm?

She tries to slip her fingers down to his and he immediately tunes into his reflexes, pulling away and staring at her like she's crazy. Hayun pouts up at him, confused as to why he's pulling away, but he's even more confused as to why she's trying to flirt with him and hold his hand.

"What's the matter, oppa?"

Seokjin grimaces. "Why are you trying to hold my hand?"

The twisted confusion on Hayun's face is actually enough to send Seokjin into a state of panic, especially when she says, "I thought we had something going on, Jinnie? I waited for you after you enlisted. Just like you told me to."

Just like he told her to?

Seokjin thinks for a moment, back to the day he'd first met Hayun at the photoshoot he'd done. After the photoshoot was over, he had dinner with the CEO and his wife and daughter, and he'd told them to wait until after his enlistment and he'd join them for a lifetime. He was talking to the CEO about sponsoring his ramen, not talking to Hayun about being with her for a lifetime. Why the hell would he ever say that? They'd hardly even spoken back then and he'd just met her. Is she seriously that delusional?

All this time, she really thought that Seokjin was going to come back and be with her? Is that why she became so obsessive? Seokjin doesn't recall her being so crazy—but then again, he never got to know her back then.

"Um." He has to let her down lightly. He really doesn't want to ruin the schedule they have set for 2025. He doesn't want to ruin the other members' chance at sponsoring the brand. "I'm sorry, Hayun. I'm very busy right now, so don't wait on me. You should go and find someone... more fitting. Someone who—" actually cares "—will give you what you want."

He doesn't give Hayun a chance to speak before he walks away, but he can hear her raising her voice from behind, saying, "I'll wait for you, oppa!"

Seokjin can't imagine the mental state of this woman. How could it be like this? How could she possibly not get the message?

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

Over the course of the next year, Seokjin lays low. He refuses to walk on the sidewalk now, going as far as selling his bicycle because he won't need it anytime soon. He stays quiet, too, especially on social media. It confuses fans and even BTS, but at least he doesn't see comments from Hayun like he had been.

Hoseok is the first member to become suspicious of Seokjin's actions, but that's because he sees him in person first and he hangs out with Jin. He asks Seokjin why they have to go so far away to hang out and why he's so quiet lately. Seokjin tells him it's nothing, that he just wanted to try all the restaurants in areas he's never been to—which isn't exactly a lie, at least. Trying different places is always fun to do.

"You won't even go on a walk with me."

Seokjin brushes off Hoseok's suspicion. "I just don't want to walk."

"We used to walk and jog together all the time, hyung."

"Yeah, well, I'm burnt out on exercise. Wasn't the military enough?"

That's what makes Hoseok shrug and nod. "That's fair." He got off light. After that, Hoseok didn't question their lack of walks and jogs, but he still questions why Jin's been so inactive online. Seokjin tries to say he's too busy to be online, but Hoseok calls him out for being chronically online in their group chat, which is true. Seokjin is always fucking around and sending messages to the others. It's his source of happiness.

"You question me too much."

"You're acting like it's a crime to worry," Hoseok chuckles. "But fine. I'll leave you alone, but I can't promise the others won't notice how you're acting weird. I mean, you won't even go to your favorite restaurant with me. Isn't that enough to make someone worry?"

Perhaps.

But Seokjin doesn't want to chance running into Hayun, truly. He's slightly terrified by her last words: I'll wait for you. He's never had someone so obsessively try and be with him before. Sure, people flirt with him and stalk him like freaks, but she genuinely thinks that they're in love or something, which is beyond insane. He isn't even ready for a relationship with someone who isn't—

Isn't... who he likes. Not that he likes anyone. He totally doesn't.

Just then, his phone lights up with a notification, and he feels a surge of joy as he reads the text he received:

Jungkookie:

Hyung, I get out of the military in 2 months!!! ;D

Aren't you excited to see me?

We can go eat at our fav restaurant when I get back (: your treat? Hehe

Seokjin stares at his screen as more messages come through, but the last one has his smile faltering. He realizes that Hoseok is right; if he's questioning why Seokjin won't go to his favorite place to eat, then he can only imagine how Jungkook will react when he finds out that Seokjin hasn't gone there in months now—nearly a year.

He sighs as he messages Jungkook back.

Me:

How about hyung takes you somewhere else? There's a place Hoseokie and I tried last month, it was so good. I know you'll love it.

Jungkookie:

What? You don't want to go to our favorite place? Why???

Wouldn't it make more sense to take me to our fav place hyunggg

Don't tell me you don't like going there now? Bc I know you'd be lying

You'd live in that place if you could (;

Me:

I just want to show you a new place

Jungkookie:

I don't want new

I want our place, hyung

The fact that he calls it their place makes Seokjin's heart swell.

Me:

Okay, okay

I'll take you to our place

When Jimin and Jungkook get out of the military, Seokjin, Hoseok, Namjoon, and Taehyung are there to welcome them home. It was only yesterday that Namjoon and Taehyung were welcomed home, and Seokjin is obviously happy to have the members slowly coming back together, but his excitement is through the roof because of one person in particular.

That particular person runs straight into Seokjin's arms, and Seokjin is thankful that he kept his body fit after leaving the military because if he hadn't, Jungkook probably would've knocked him to the floor and crushed him there for good. Instead, they're two hunks of toned muscles that merge together into one nice, long-awaited hug.

"My Jungkookie."

The others are piled up on Jimin except for Hoseok, who's trying to keep a hand on both Jimin and Jungkook at the same time to greet them. Jungkook pulls away from Seokjin after a handful of seconds, and he lingers his hands over Seokjin's body after he pulls away, but then the others attack him with hugs and Seokjin smiles so happily as Jimin also runs up into his arms for a hug—it doesn't last as long as Jungkook's hug, so Seokjin pulls Jimin back and hugs him tighter.

"Where do you think you're going?" he teases the younger, who giggles. Jimin is shining under the bright lights. Glowing. All of them are. They're glowing with happiness.

"Hyung," Jungkook whines out as he releases his hug from Taehyung, but he's addressing Seokjin. He steps back up to the oldest and wraps his arms around his waist again. Seokjin lets go of Jimin and holds Jungkook in return, laughing lightly at his pout. "Hyung, it's been so long. We're finally out. Where's my welcoming kiss?"

Jungkook teases Seokjin by puckering his lips out, but Seokjin's skin turns red with how hard he blushes. He karate chops Jungkook's neck and pushes him away lightly, laughing away the embarrassment. "Yah, why are you joking like that?"

The maknae giggles. "Let's go. I wanna go home."

"Same," Jimin says, "I'm tired of wearing anything other than a t-shirt and sweatpants." He glances at Seokjin. "Hyung, I'm glad to see you so happy. I was beginning to worry for a while, you know, with how silent you've been online and how weird you've been acting." Namjoon nudges Jimin, but the younger's eyes widen. "What? It's the truth!"

Seokjin lowers his head and awkwardly laughs. "It's not like that."

This time, it's Jungkook who speaks up, "Huh? Does that mean..." His big, curious doe-eyes search Seokjin's for answers. "Hyung, does that mean there is something wrong? What do you mean it's not like that?"

It's a curse that the others can see right through him. And it's cursed, the way the other five look at him with worry in their eyes. Again, Seokjin tries to brush it off. "That's not what I mean," he defends himself with a pout that doesn't go unnoticed. Seokjin always pouts when he gets serious, so the others don't question him again, but they still look unsure. "Let's go, you two. You need to get some rest at home. You deserve it, yeah?"

"Yes, definitely," Jimin agrees.

Jungkook is frowning. "Okay."

Seokjin doesn't like seeing the youngest moping around, so he throws an arm around him as they walk out. He leans into Jungkook's space and mutters just low enough for him to hear. "Hey. Quit pouting like that, Jungkookie, or I'll eat you up, you little dumpling."

"I'm not a dumpling," Jungkook says with a small smile. He lightly nudges Seokjin's ribs. "You're so weird, hyung. Are you taking me to our restaurant or what? I'm starving."

Nodding, Seokjin tells him, "Sure." Jungkook likes to ride in a car more than going on walks, so Seokjin rides with Jungkook happily, knowing they're secure with bodyguards. They head to the restaurant with the best meat that they love so much and Jungkook changes clothes in the back of the SUV, stripping in a way that has Seokjin's ears burning red, and then putting on a t-shirt and sweatpants.

"This is so much better," Jungkook says, "I hated those military uniforms."

"I thought you said you looked cool in it?"

"Just because I looked cool doesn't mean I liked it." Jungkook taps the head of Seokjiin's seat. "Hyung, we're here! Meat!" He then pats his tummy and looks at the restaurant with stars in his eyes. Seokjin laughs as they pull in. Jungkook is excited to eat.

They go inside and order, and Seokjin is unsurprised that the maknae orders all of his favorites in one go, not even pretending to be humble within his diet. He tells Seokjin that he's going to be here for a while and to just sit back and relax. Seokjin scolds Jungkook for making him pay for all of this, but he would do it a million times over if it's Jungkook he's doing it for.

Once Jungkook starts getting full on his meal, it's noticeable. He slows down, leans back into his chair, and sighs out dramatically. Seokjin chuckles and asks, "Are you done now? Too full to eat anything else?" He steals some of Jungkook's food and laughs as Jungkook miserably stretches his arms.

"Too much," he agrees. "I think I ate enough to last me all week."

"All week?" Seokjin chuckles as their eyes meet. "Yeah, right. I can already see you begging hyung to cook for you tomorrow night."

Jungkook giggles. "How'd you know?"

"I know you more than anyone else," Seokjin says before thinking first. He clears his throat and lowers his gaze, not wanting to be delusional by observing the pleased look in Jungkook's eyes. "Anyways. Are you finished now?"

"Hmm, I don't know. I feel like I could eat a few more bites, now that I've rested for a good thirty seconds."

Seokjin laughs lightly, but his laughter dies down as he hears a familiar voice entering the restaurant, greeting the employees. His eyes widen and he quickly thinks of ways to hide himself and Jungkook at the same time. He practically throws his spoon onto the floor and asks Jungkook to get it for him, making the younger get underneath the table with a huff, and he hides himself behind the menu that stays on the table because Jungkook wanted to keep it just in case they needed it.

The click of Hayun's heels walk right by him and Seokjin has never felt so terrified in his life. He hasn't seen her in months and he really, really doesn't want to see her right now. They're scheduled for their photoshoot in October and he'd much rather prepare himself to meet her then instead of now.

The hiding works. She doesn't see them and whenever Jungkook raises up from underneath the table with Seokjin's spoon, the oldest takes it just to set it down on the table.

"We should go." Seokjin lies, "I need to get back home and do my laundry before my big day tomorrow."

Jungkook tilts his head. "Big day?"

"Yeah, I'm going to work tomorrow."

Jungkook giggles, "You go to work every day, hyung." He doesn't question it, though. they get up and Seokjin manages to sneak them out. He paid with cash, leaving the money on the table just so they could exit quietly. When they're outside and on the way to the company vehicle, Jungkook asks him, "Why do you keep looking back like that? Did you see someone, hyung?"

Baffled, Seokjin stares at the younger. "What..?" He doesn't understand just how Jungkook can see right through him. He had no idea he'd looked back at the building so much. "I- I just wanted to leave quietly and not make any commotion. That's all."

Jungkook cocks an eyebrow at him. "If you say so, Mr. Paranoia."

"I'm not paranoid." He definitely is. Even Jungkook had caught on to his repetitive glance-backs and frantic actions. Seokjin changes the subject. "Keep questioning me and I'll spit in your dinner tomorrow."

A smile stretches on Jungkook's face. "You'll seriously cook for me tomorrow, hyung?"

Seokjin gets into the vehicle with Jungkook right by his side, and their eyes lock. He gives the maknae a small, kind smile.

"Of course. My Jungkookie needs a homemade meal now that he's back."

The smile on Jungkook's face somehow becomes bigger. Seokjin loves it. He loves how big his grin is, how cute his teeth are, and how his eyes sparkle happily. Whatever Jungkook wants from Seokjin, he'll get it. Call it maknae privilege or whatever, but Seokjin will always give in just for his Jungkookie.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

Jungkook is confused.

He and Seokjin go on a ride to the grocery store and everything seems fine on a surface level. Seokjin is playful and teases Jungkook, poking at his thickened biceps and telling him he's gotten bigger, and proceeding to test Jungkook's fight-or-flight reflexes by play fighting with him.

When they get closer to the grocery store, Seokjin keeps looking out of the window and continues to glance around even after they get out of the car.

"Hyung, you okay?"

Seokjin's eyes widen as he turns his attention back to Jungkook. "What? Of course I'm okay, why do you ask? Let's go inside."

Jungkook is suspicious of his hyung, but he doesn't say anything. He hasn't said anything ever since Hoseok had come to the others with concerns of Seokjin's mental health, saying he's been acting weird lately and keeps trying to avoid humanity. In all honesty, Jungkook doesn't have any say in Seokjin's life, and Seokjin brushes off the mere chance of the topic so he isn't sure how to help.

Considering Seokjin hasn't spoken to anyone about how he's really doing, Jungkook's entire mind and body comes to a halt as they're walking down the canned foods isle and a woman comes up to Seokjin, preppy and joyful in her step as she gleams up at Seokjin.

"Jinnie!"

What? Jinnie?

The way Seokjin flinches as she comes up and spooks him isn't exactly out of character for him because Seokjin gets spooked by simple things such as sudden noises. What is out of character, however, is the way Seokjin's hands curl up into his chest, how his eyes widen in shock, and he's rendered speechless as he looks at the woman. And what's even more out of character is the fact that this woman caresses Seokjin's arm fondly—Jungkook doesn't even know who this woman is, so it seems out of character only to himself, he supposes.

But the action leaves Jungkook's chest rising with warm, piercing jealousy. He has no idea where it comes from, but he's got a sense of anger and resentment forming within him. Who the hell is this woman who's touching his hyung? Why has Seokjin never mentioned this before? Why is she making Seokjin speechless, presumably because he's shy around her—shy around the person he likes?

Because it's obvious, right? The way she is gleaming up at Seokjin and caressing his arm so lovingly, smiling happily and calling him Jinnie and saying I've missed you. They're clearly something, right? Seokjin wouldn't just let some random person do this to him... right?

"Who is this?" Jungkook speaks up, trying not to sound too rude, but his eyebrows are furrowed and he doesn't exactly sound too happy. Seokjin doesn't say anything. He only gulps. It's not like he gets the chance to speak anyway, because the woman speaks for him.

"Oh my gosh, you're Jungkook-ssi!" She bows slightly to greet him. "I've heard so many great things about you!"

Jungkook's vision goes unfocused as he zones out, staring down at his own hands. She's heard so many great things about him? From Seokjin?

The surge of resentment becomes stronger and Jungkook squints up at Seokjin. "You've never mentioned you meeting someone, hyung."

Seokjin somehow looks more zoned out than Jungkook was; he's staring at the floor and hasn't spoken at all, not even to greet her. A part of Jungkook chills out for a moment, wondering perhaps selfishly if maybe Seokjin doesn't actually like her. He doesn't know why, but something is telling him that this isn't what Seokjin looks like when he likes someone. Seokjin is so nice and caring. Seokjin does things like teasing and cooking meals for the people he loves. Not once has Seokjin ever zoned out like this, even when he'd met his celebrity crushes. Seokjin is the type of person to indulge.

He is not indulging right now.

"Sorry," Jungkook says to her, wrapping his arm around Seokjin's and tugging the older closer to him. Only then does Seokjin finally look at Jungkook. "We have to get home soon. It was nice to meet you, though." He drags Seokjin away and the older lets him, still too stunned to speak. Jungkook tells him, "If that was your girlfriend or something, you could've just told us."

"C-Can we just hurry and leave?" Seokjin questions weakly.

Jungkook doesn't like it. He doesn't question it, either. He doesn't question the way Seokjin's grip tightens on him and the way Seokjin doesn't leave his side the entire grocery trip. He doesn't question the way Seokjin keeps zoning out or the way he keeps glancing around more than ever, clearly trying to see if she's still around. Jungkook wonders if that woman is the reason why Seokjin has been acting differently lately.

He doesn't question it, though. It's not his place to.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

October comes way too quickly for Seokjin's liking. But at least all seven of them are back together. Ever since they'd all returned, Seokjin has never been happier. The members stop suspecting his "depression" from when he was laying low and instead start scolding him for showing up at their homes out of the blue—they tease him and tell him to stop coming, but each and every single one of them practically beg him to stay whenever he does visit. They love him and his sudden visits, he just knows it.

Especially Jungkook.

Jin has leftover clothes at Jungkook's apartment and a permanent spot in Jungkook's bed whenever he visits. They used to cuddle a lot before they went into the military, but now they are at each other's place at least three times a week just to eat together or sleep together—Jungkook likes to use Seokjin as a pillow instead of using an actual pillow and Seokjin likes the way Jungkook snuggles into him and sleeps peacefully.

But this extent is much different than before. They were already inseparable, but being apart must have made them all miss each other more because even some of the other members are the same way; they all go to each other's places just to see each other and by now, they've made seven homes feel like one.

Seokjin's second home is Jungkook's bed. Jungkook's cuddles. The scent of Jungkook's flowery shampoo and the soft touch of bare skin against his own. He loves this home. He loves Jungkook more than he'd like to admit.

However, what he doesn't love is the fact that today is the day of their Jin Ramen photoshoot and today is one of the days that he and Jungkook didn't sleep together and wake up by each other's side. So, he's grumpy when he wakes up and his heart feels heavy because he doesn't want to see the person he'd let down months ago, mostly because she may or may not still be in love with him or some shit.

Ugh.

Seokjin wears a sweatsuit on the way to the photoshoot and when he gets to the place, he waits for any of the members to get there so he can walk in with him—as it turns out, some of them were already there, and Seokjin ends up walking in with Yoongi and Hoseok.

"This isn't your first time being here, right?" Hoseok asks Jin, curiously eyeing him as they make their way up an elevator.

"Right," Yoongi pipes in. "You did your photoshoot here, right hyung? You met the CEO and everything?"

A light shrug is all he gives.

Hoseok nudges him. "Hyung, are you still sleepy? You're being quiet."

Seokjin pouts. Ever since the day he and Jungkook saw Hayun at the grocery store, he's avoided thinking about her and this photoshoot. He's terrified to see the look on Jungkook's face when she walks up to them and he realizes who she is. That's why he's so quiet. He's cuddled up to Jungkook so much over the past few months and now he's scared that today will change something between them. Scared that Hayun will scare Jungkook off or something. Hell, he's scared that she'll run all the members off.

"I'm not quiet," he says as if he wasn't just quiet for another ten steps before he spoke. Once they get to the photoshoot room, he's even quieter once he notices Jungkook sitting in a chair with his legs crossed and arms crossed over his chest, staring right at him upon entering the room. Almost immediately, Seokjin is thrown off as a pair of arms wrap around him and all the members look at him in confusion because there, happily greeting him, is Hayun.

"Jinnie!"

Seokjin realizes now why Jungkook is glaring over at them. And he can't blame the other members for giving each other confused, displeased looks. Hoseok and Yoongi even raise their hands as if to try and stop her, giving Seokjin worried and confused expressions.

"Hyung, do you know her?" Hoseok asks.

Seokjin peels Hayun's arms off of himself. "This is the daughter of Changjun-ssi. Choi Hayun."

"Ah, Jinnie," Hayun whines out, pouting up at him. "Why do you introduce me like that?"

"How else would I introduce you?" His words slowly die off as she wraps her arms around his arm, but he pulls away. "I need to go get ready for the photoshoot, Hayun."

Seokjin flees her grasp and hurries to sit next to Jimin, who's being dolled up by the makeup artist in front of him. Jimin turns and eyes Seokjin. "Since when are you dating?" he asks, pouting. "Why didn't you tell us?"

"I'm not," Seokjin sighs out, and his eyes meet Jungkook's from two seats down. He's listening as well, still glaring. Seokjin gulps. "I-I'm not dating her."

Jungkook says, "You don't have to keep secrets, hyung." He sounds salty, and he's the only one who's seen Hayun outside of this company building and photoshoot, so he's probably more suspicious. Seokjin sighs once again and lowers his head.

"I'm not. I'm seriously not dating her."

The way Jungkook's shoulders fall is either out of relief or disappointment, Seokjin isn't sure. Judging by the way Jungkook's gaze lingers on him, he's still suspicious, and obviously curious, but Seokjin doesn't tell him or anyone what's going on. It's too embarrassing and he doesn't want to cause a scene here on the day of the photoshoot. If he does say anything, he wants to wait until after the photos and collaboration is released. He doesn't want to ruin it for them.

So, he puts on a smile and avoids the questioning looks he gets every time Hayun comes near him. For now, he'll play nice and gently let her down in private.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

Jungkook dislikes the way he feels about Seokjin and Hayun together. What makes it even worse is that deep down, he feels like something is off. Seokjin has no reason to hide a relationship from them, but what reason does Seokjin have to let Hayun be all over him like that? And why is she all over him, anyway? If they're not dating, then what the hell is going on?

He worries that maybe the CEO of Jin Ramen had done or said something to Seokjin, and worries that Seokjin is in a predicament that he won't admit to the members. What if he's being blackmailed or something? What if she's some crazy lady who thinks she and Seokjin were meant to be together? What if she did something bad to him?

Jungkook will flip the fuck out if any of those are true.

He tries to trust Seokjin's avoidance about the situation, but he can't help but notice the way Seokjin has been cuddling closer into Jungkook lately, and the way he hasn't been sleeping as well as he was before. He can't help but notice how Seokjin physically cringes every time the photoshoot is brought up around him.

He'll just have to trust his hyung; it's all he knows how to do.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

Seokjin gets multiple DMs from Hayun.

It's gotten worse, he fears. Even after he messaged her back to try and let her down gently, she still worms her way into his life just like before, but somehow it's much worse. Before, it seemed like coincidences that brought them together, so he'd started riding in his car and avoiding the places he'd seen her, but now even that isn't stopping her from showing up. He swears that she has some sort of tracker or person watching him because she even shows up at the restaurant out of the city that he brought Jungkook and Hoseok to.

The three are together, enjoying their meal, and she popped up unannounced. Jungkook's stare is enough to know he's unsure of what to think, and poor Hoseok can never hide his emotions, so the disgusted expression he gives Hayun is very evident. She doesn't mind it, though. Actually, she doesn't even notice it. She's too busy looking at Seokjin as she talks his ear off.

"I don't mean to be rude," Hoseok says to her, earning her attention, "but we were in the middle of a very important business conversation. Maybe you can catch up with hyung some other time, yeah?" They definitely were not in the middle of an important conversation, but Seokjin doesn't say otherwise. Hayun stares blankly at Hoseok for a second and then she turns to Seokjin.

"Do you want me to leave—"

"Yes." Seokjin surprises himself with how fast he responds, and it's that moment right there that has Hoseok and Jungkook exchanging glances, like they can read each other's minds, and Seokjin has known them long enough to know what they're thinking: Hyung definitely doesn't like this woman.

Jin can practically already hear the boys asking why he lets her run all over him. Why he lets her near. Why he lets her treat him like that. Why she's even here in the first place if he doesn't like her. And he can also hear himself denying that he's a pushover, even if it is true.

Hayun rolls her eyes and leaves, telling Seokjin that she'll message him later. He wonders how much drama would ensue if he blocked her account before then, but his thoughts are cut off as Hoseok and Jungkook lean over the table to whisper.

"What the hell?" Hoseok questions.

Jungkook eyes Hayun as she leaves the restaurant. "Hyung, are you really okay? She seems too into you, don't you think? Haven't you told her you're not interested?"

Seokjin has to laugh. The other two look puzzled, but he doesn't elaborate on why it's so funny that Jungkook thinks he hasn't tried to let her down time and time again. He tells them, "It's okay." He may say it's okay, but after that day, he makes sure he has at least two bodyguards with him at all times, and he counts down the days until their collaboration is published and over with so he can never go near that woman ever again.

Just a month and a half to go.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

Jungkook doesn't like Hayun. Not only because he might've been a little jealous and confused from the very first moment he met her at the grocery store, but Jin had seemed uneasy since then, and now Jungkook feels like he might know why. The way Hayun walked up to their table at the restaurant and invited herself to sit with them, being all over Seokjin who clearly doesn't see how weird she is—Jungkook doesn't like her. Who just invites themselves to sit at someone else's table and then rolls her eyes when she's asked to leave?

Seokjin may say it's fine, but Jungkook doesn't think so.

Jungkook doesn't like her. She's too touchy. Too close to him. Too annoying.

And that's why Jungkook clings onto Seokjin. Maybe he wants to protect his hyung. Maybe it's just to keep Seokjin and Hayun away from each other—not that Jungkook doesn't want Seokjin to be happy, but he just wants to make sure that Seokjin is treated right. So, naturally, Jungkook takes it upon himself to treat Seokjin right.

He hangs out with him on their usual schedule—a few times a week—and they change up a few things like instead of Seokjin cooking most of the time, Jungkook only allows Seokjin to do small things like peeling a potato or stirring the pot of food Jungkook put together already. Seokjin scolds him for not letting him help, but Jungkook tells him to just sit there and look pretty. It shocks Jungkook and Seokjin both that he says that, but Jungkook stands with what he says.

Another thing that has changed is based off of that last part; Jungkook has become more verbally affectionate with Seokjin. Not in a teasing way, either. He calls Seokjin gorgeous, handsome, perfect, amazing, and tells him how glad he is that Seokjin has stayed by his side for all these years. He praises every little thing Seokjin does like hitting a high note, flipping a pancake perfectly, looking amazing in photos, and even the small things in life like how he's proud of Seokjin for sleeping so well.

"I swear," Seokjin says, "you've been saying so many nice things about me lately. Did you hit your head while you were in the military?" he asks Jungkook, gently patting the maknae's head, and Jungkook shakes it lightly as he looks right into Seokjin's eyes.

"No, hyung, I've always thought these things. Just didn't think you'd care to hear them."

Seokjin frowns a little. "Of course I want to hear everything my Jungkookie thinks." He rests his hand on the back of Jungkook's head, cupping it. It feels so nice that Jungkook wants to lean back into the hold. "Why now, though? Why are you telling me these things now?"

Because Seokjin needs to hear them. He needs to know that there are people in this world that will love and respect him, and not roll their eyes because they're asked to leave him alone. Because Jungkook hopes that Seokjin will realize that there's better people out there than Hayun. Because he's terrified that he's lost his chance at being with—

Jungkook stares blankly at Seokjin. His tongue feels numb and his body is no longer his own. He's levitating. The world is no longer real.

He realizes only now that he's doing these things because he likes Seokjin.

Oh, shit.

"I- I just want you to feel loved, hyung." It's the truth, though Jungkook doesn't admit to what extent. He's surprised he admitted it at all.

Seokjin's lips crease into a small smile. "I do feel loved, Jungkookie."

But he wants Jin to feel loved by him.

So, Jungkook starts holding Seokjin closer every day. Over the course of the past few weeks, Jungkook will spoon Seokjin in bed just to make him feel safe and warm, even though Jungkook usually likes to be the little spoon. And he wraps his arms around his hyung at any given chance. When they're in the dance studio, recording, or filming content, he's always got his hands wrapped around Seokjin's waist or his arm or something, and Seokjin never pulls away. He indulges, leaning into the touch and even holding Jungkook back most of the time.

The more they're together, the more Jungkook realizes that he was oblivious for so long. He was in denial of the way he felt, maybe because he always thought that Seokjin wouldn't look at him in that way, so he pushed the thought back. But now that he's got a small taste of treating Seokjin like he would a boyfriend, he wants to keep doing it.

Especially on nights like tonight.

Seokjin visits Jungkook just like he often does, except this time he brings a case of soju. Jungkook cooks them some meat to go with the drinks and eventually, it's midnight and the two have drunk nearly a whole case of beer. Seokjin talks about the wildest things just as he always does when he gets drunk, and Jungkook can't stay still or stop giggling because he's drunk as well.

Though they go into laughing fits and joke around, things wind down and Seokjin scoots closer to Jungkook on the couch. The warmth feels nice. Jungkook wishes he could feel Seokjin's warmth for the rest of his life.

"Jungkook-ah, will you hold me?"

The question takes a moment for Jungkook's brain to register. For a second, he thinks his mind is making up things. He thinks he's still daydreaming about holding Jin for the rest of his life. But then he realizes that Seokjin is giving him an expecting look, waiting for an answer.

"You... want me to hold you?" Jungkook opens his arms around Seokjin's body and engulfs him, taking in the familiar scent of Jin's forrest-like cologne and the heavy alcohol laced within. Though he's confused as to why Seokjin wants to be held, Jungkook doesn't waste any time in pulling the older to let him snuggle into his side. "Like this?"

"Yeah," Seokjin mutters quietly into Jungkook's neck, comfortably nuzzling his nose into the crease. "Thanks."

Seokjin doesn't explain his reasoning and Jungkook doesn't get to ask, either. Not even a minute passes before Seokjin is falling asleep in Jungkook's arms, snuggled up nice and close. They sleep like this all the time, but this is the first time Seokjin has physically asked Jungkook to hold him. It makes the maknae wonder for a while, his mind sobering up gradually as he caresses Seokjin's arm.

He wonders just what is going on in his hyung's pretty little head.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

It's a rainy day. That's the only reason why Seokjin decided to go on a walk. If it's raining, he assumes that Hayun will be nowhere in sight and he can have a nice, peaceful stroll. However, Jungkook looks at him like he's crazy for mentioning his plan.

"You're going on a walk?" the youngest asks, his eyes wide and laced with confusion. "Hyung, it's raining outside. And I thought you don't go on walks anymore? Why would you decide to go now of all times?"

The truth is, Seokjin likes to go on walks. Especially if it's with one of the other members. He and Hoseok have went on countless jogs and Namjoon or Jimin always decides to drag him along on their walks or bike rides. He misses being outside and enjoying himself. Even though it's in the rain, at least he has Jeon Jungkook to drag along with him.

"Let's go, it'll be fun." Seokjin grabs Jungkook's fingers and tugs lightly, smiling even though Jungkook still looks unsure and confused. He grabs his umbrella and tells Jungkook, "Don't worry. Hyung won't let you catch a cold."

They exit Seokjin's apartment and share the umbrella down the sidewalk, silently enjoying each other's presence and the sound of rain splattering around them and hitting the umbrella. It truly is peaceful, even though it's raining. It's calm and relaxing. Jungkook doesn't complain about it at all, especially not since they visit a cafe for some warm coffee as they walk.

Jungkook sips his coffee, looking straight ahead instead of looking at Seokjin. "You know, this seems a bit romantic. Seems like something you'd do with someone else."

Seokjin examines the younger's face, sighing as he notices the slight irritation in Jungkook's voice and the way he seems to be disconnected from Seokjin in general. He stops walking and it makes Jungkook stop as well, making sure he stays under the umbrella. Jungkook tilts his head at Seokjin, frowning.

"Who else would I be doing this with?" Seokjin asks, frowning as well. Jungkook averts his eyes and shrugs lightly. "Jungkook-ah—"

"I really don't care who you date, hyung—"

"How many times do I have to tell you that I am not dating anyone?" Seokjin asks, sounding tired and exasperated as he speaks. It makes Jungkook's head shy downwards, pouting as he's scolded. Seokjin sighs again. "I'm not dating Hayun," he says just to specify.

Jungkook kicks the pavement below him and huffs up at Seokjin. "Then, what?" he asks, sounding small under the loudly pouring rain. Seokjin can hardly hear him, but he definitely does. "What about you two is going on, then? It seems like something."

"It—" Seokjin's phone begins to ring and it aggravates him, making him groan as he takes it out of his pocket. He needs to answer it because it's his company phone, which he doesn't usually get calls from unless it's important. "Hold on a minute."

He answers his phone and the two of them step under an awning so that he can put the umbrella down for a moment. Jungkook stands there silently as Seokjin is told that one of his recordings got deleted by accident and he has to redo the entire session again, but the vocal coach who helped him on the track has to leave the country for a while and his plane leaves tonight, so Seokjin has to get to the company building before then.

Seokjin sighs once he hangs up the phone.

"What's wrong?"

His eyes meet Jungkook's curious ones. "I have to go to the company. Recording got deleted and I have to redo it by tonight." Seokjin raises his hand to pat Jungkook's shoulder. "You go home. Take the umbrella."

"What? No." Jungkook shoves the umbrella into Seokjin's hand and then backs away into the pouring rain. "Already wet. Too late. You take the umbrella, hyung," he says as rain pours down onto him, and Seokjin scolds him for doing that, saying he'll catch a cold. "I'm fine, hyung! This is fun for me!" Jungkook raises his arms to embrace the rain, making Jin shake his head fondly as he laughs.

"You're such a brat. Go home and get warm."

"Have fun at work," Jungkook smiles away.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

The end of November is approaching and Seokjin is eager for their album to come out soon. He also misses ARMY, so he decides to go live and talk about what he's been doing lately and maybe give a spoiler or two just for funzies.

He's at his apartment and it's getting cold outside by this time of year, so Seokjin is wearing a sweatsuit; it's blue and comfy, plus it keeps him warm. Their fans immediately welcome him when he starts the live, asking him how he is and if he's warm. He gets a message from the company probably questioning why he went live without a staff member there with him, but he ignores it and smiles away as he speaks with ARMY.

On the other end of the screen, lying in his own bed at home, is Jungkook. He's watching Seokjin's live and laughing along with ARMY, debating on whether or not he should comment something to spice up the live. Everything is going fine until Jungkook sees a familiar face and name commenting on Seokjin's live: Choi Hayun.

Jungkook's heart jumps out of his chest and he sits up quickly, his head feeling dizzy as he reads what she says, going from Hi Jinnie! to What are you doing? and Wish I was there.

He gags to himself and immediately comments to distract Seokjin from her.

Hi hyung

The comments go wild, just as suspected, and Seokjin only sees Jungkook's comment, making the older's eyes light up as he looks at the screen.

"Ah, Jungkookie is here!" Seokjin taps the screen to scroll up and see Jungkook's comment again. "What are you doing up? I thought you were going to sleep."

Jungkook smiles at the screen and types How could I possibly sleep when you're live? He gets out of bed once he sees Hayun's name pop up again, and instead of telling Seokjin that he's coming over, he types I'll join you in a minute.

He rushes over to Seokjin's place impatiently, wanting to wrap his arms around him as soon as he gets there. When he arrives, he doesn't even knock because he knows Seokjin's passcode, and he lets himself inside just like Seokjin has done to him countless times. It shocks Seokjin when Jungkook steps into the room, his eyes wide as he looks over at him.

"You're actually joining my live, Jungkook-ah?"

"Of course!" Jungkook steps into the camera, behind Seokjin's sofa, where the older is sitting. He wraps his arms around Seokjin's neck, dangling his hands over his chest and pulling him back into a semi-hug. "What are you doing on live, hyung?" he asks as Seokjin relaxes into the sofa and Jungkook's hold.

Seokjin points at the camera. "Saying hi to ARMY."

"Hi ARMY," Jungkook says with a small wave to the camera. His wave doesn't last two seconds, though, because Jungkook keeps his hands on Seokjin every single fraction of a second that he can possibly manage. He knows that Hayun is watching the live, so he caresses Seokjin's neck, nuzzles his nose into Seokjin's hair, holds him close, and doesn't even bother caring that ARMYs can see what he's doing. He sits next to Seokjin and wraps his arms around his neck, smiling to the camera as Seokjin talks to them.

To make things even better, Seokjin lifts Jungkook's legs into his lap and pats his head. "Are you sleepy or something? You're clinging like a koala."

Jungkook giggles. "Not sleepy."

The comments are saying things like He's so cute and That's Jin's baby.

Jin's baby... Jungkook shudders as he reads that comment. It's too good. Way too good.

"Are you sure?" Seokjin chuckles. "You get extra clingy when you're sleepy, you know. I can turn off the live if you want to sleep."

More comments flood in like No, don't leave us and Why do you have to turn off the live to let Jungkook sleep? And Sleep together?? I see you.

He hopes that Hayun sees the way Seokjin cards his fingers through his hair and massages Jungkook's scalp gently. He hopes she's jealous. He hopes she leaves Seokjin alone. Hopes she backs off and never comments under his live again.

Maybe Jungkook is a little protective over his hyung.

But he should be! She seems too weird to be with Seokjin. So, Jungkook holds him close in hopes that he'll run Hayun off, since Seokjin clearly doesn't like to be associated with her in any way. If Seokjin won't do anything about it, maybe Jungkook can help out a little bit.

Seokjin doesn't keep the live going much longer and Jungkook doesn't complain about that. When the live is over, he feels confident that he run Hayun off because she didn't comment anymore after Jungkook got there. Hopefully she left and will never come back.

"What's up?" Seokjin asks whenever he shuts his phone off. He holds Jungkook closer. "Is there a reason why you're being so clingy? Rough day?"

Jungkook reels his legs in a little so he can cuddle closer into Seokjin's body now that the camera is off. Seokjin positions his hands comfortably, one in Jungkook's hair and the other draped over the lower half of Jungkook's legs. The slight massage that Seokjin gives makes Jungkook feel drowsy and some other wonderful emotion that he doesn't quite dive into just now.

"Not a rough day," Jungkook admits as he places his head on Seokjin's shoulder. "I just like being close to you, hyung."

Seokjin looks over at where his phone is still standing on a tripod and he squints a bit in thought, not looking very convinced. To top it off, he asks Jungkook, "Are you sure that's the only reason you couldn't keep your hands off of me for that entire live?"

"Mhm." Jungkook somehow snuggles even deeper into Seokjin's body. He knows that Jin is suspicious and that he probably knows exactly what Jungkook was doing, but he doesn't let the older question it again. "Can we go to bed now? M'sleepy."

"You just said you weren't sleepy."

"I wasn't," Jungkook whines, "but now I am. So take me to bed."

Seokjin squeezes Jungkook's leg teasingly. "Since when were you so clingy and whiny at the same time?" Since he realized that there's a possibility that someone can take his Jin hyung away from him; Jungkook doesn't say that, of course. He says nothing at all. So, Seokjin sighs. "Let's get to bed."

Jungkook crawls off of Seokjin and follows silently to the main bedroom, where the sight of Seokjin's pure white bedding is familiar. While Seokjin digs out his own pair of pajamas, Jungkook strips his shirt and pants off and then settles under the blanket as Seokjin changes clothes. When Jin joins him under the blankets, Jungkook cuddles up to him and shudders as the silk pajamas brush up against his skin.

"Why aren't you wearing clothes?" Seokjin scolds him as he wraps an arm around Jungkook, and he doesn't look him in the eyes, but rather gazes down at Jungkook's collarbone instead.

"It's too hot with clothes on and cuddling you." Jungkook nuzzles into Seokjin's neck, brushing his nose against his skin. "You act like I've never slept like this before."

Seriously, it is a normal occurrence. Jungkook sleeps like this all of the time. Maybe not as much when he's sleeping with another member, but it's still not uncommon.

"Yeah, but you're naked and clingy," Seokjin says, and it makes Jungkook smile because he isn't fully naked like Seokjin claims he is. The only reason why Seokjin is making it a big deal is because he's embarrassed by the fact that he's blushing—Jungkook doesn't know that, though. "No, seriously, why are you so clingy? Especially if it's hot in here? I don't get it." Seokjin gasps lightly. "Ah, I understand now. You were jealous."

Jungkook tenses up under Seokjin's hold. He inhales and doesn't exhale, mumbling quietly, "Jealous? O-Of what?" Terrified that he's been caught, Jungkook's heart races, thudding against his ribcage.

But Seokjin lightly laughs. "Of me hanging out with ARMY," he states as if it's the surest thing in the world. Jungkook releases his breath, but his heart pangs as Seokjin continues speaking so obliviously: "Is it because I didn't message you back before going live? I was going to, but I figured you weren't waiting for a response. Now I know, you're just jealous that ARMYs had hyung's attention, aren't you?" He giggles.

It's as close to the truth that Seokjin can get, so Jungkook simply agrees. "Sure, hyung. If you say so." He hugs Seokjin tightly. "You're mine. Nobody else needs your attention but me."

Again, Seokjin laughs lightheartedly, except this time it seems a bit awkward or nervous. "Nobody is going to steal me from you. I promise."

It's a promise that—for some reason—makes Jungkook feel more content than ever. The promise makes Jungkook feel successful in keeping Hayun away, and even more successful in becoming someone that Seokjin wants to be around for the rest of his life. Nobody can steal Seokjin from him and that's final in Jungkook's mind.

He shouldn't feel so happy about Seokjin's promise, but he falls asleep peacefully in the arms of the person he likes the most in the entire world.

Once again, Jungkook's mind drifts off in thought of Seokjin being in the music video to Seven; he'd be at Seokjin's feet, begging to keep him for forever and ever. He dreams of being with Seokjin and kissing him on the cover of a magazine so everyone will know that they are each other's person. So maybe Jungkook does like Seokjin more than he'd admit. But nobody has to know that. Especially not Jin. Especially not if Jin is caught up in some weird love-thing with Choi Hayun—Jungkook has to remind himself that Seokjin said they aren't together, but a part of his insecure brain says otherwise, and it keeps him from openly admitting his feelings for Seokjin aloud and to himself.

If he dreams of Seokjin all night long, it's only for himself to know.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

Seokjin and Namjoon are at a bookstore.

It's a fairly private location. At least that's what Seokjin thinks. It's a little bookstore in one of the cities nearby Seoul, but it's quiet enough around the area that Seokjin truly thinks they'll be safe, especially with the bodyguard with them. Everything seems fine, anyway. Nobody bothers them, simply walking by, and they browse through the books.

Namjoon was already coming to this bookstore, and considering it was on the outskirts, Seokjin asked if he could tag along. They look through books together and talk about the ones they've read recently. Seokjin didn't have much to do in the military, so he read a few ebooks here and there, and Namjoon obviously did the same thing. They also point out physical copies of webtoons they've read, and Namjoon ends up with so many books he can hardly carry them.

They choose a book for each other to read and Namjoon looks excited about it, smiling whenever Seokjin picks a book that is nothing like Namjoon would normally read. "I'm seriously going to read this," Namjoon says, "but you have to read this." He picks up a sappy romance book which Seokjin laughs at.

"Romance? Are you trying to call me lonely or something, Namjoon-ah?"

"Who's lonely?" A woman's voice speaks up out of nowhere, making Seokjin physically jump out of his skin, so badly that he curls up into the bookshelf with his eyes bulging out of surprise. His heart races in his chest and he's terrified even more once he realizes it's Hayun—what the actual fuck is she doing here?

She's wearing a fancy, expensive tracksuit, purple in color, and she has her long hair pulled into a slick ponytail. Namjoon makes a twisted face once he realizes how shook Seokjin is by her presence. He steps up closer to Seokjin and lightly bows to her.

"Hello," he greets her cautiously, and though he's greeting her calmly, he has his eyes narrowed very slightly, which he usually does when he's tempted or being deceiving.

Hayun only gives Namjoon a small smile before turning her attention back to Seokjin. "Seokjinnie oppa," she pouts, "why did you blow me off at the restaurant?" She steps into Seokjin's space and goes to wrap her arms around Seokjin's arm like she normally tries to do, but instead of Seokjin having to back away or peel her off, Namjoon raises his arm in front of Seokjin to block her from touching him or even coming near.

Seokjin is a bit shocked, as is Hayun. She's looking up at Namjoon in confusion, and Seokjin seriously shudders when he notices the daring look in Namjoon's dragon-like eyes. They're extremely piercing.

"Please do not touch us," he tells Hayun. "Any of us. Hyung is uncomfortable."

Hayun furrows her brows and scowls. "How would you know that? Did he tell you this? Did he tell you that him and I are going to be together?"

Namjoon grimaces as he turns to Seokjin, and Seokjin immediately explains to him because he's terrified of their leader believing her delusions. "N-No, that isn't true, Namjoon-ah."

"Then what is true?" Namjoon demands, "Tell me now, hyung. What is going on here?"

It's not long at all for their collaboration to be posted. He was going to wait until after it was done and over with, but he doesn't want to reject Namjoon's confrontation; Namjoon is in leader-mode and he's demanding to know what's putting his member in this uncomfortable state.

"Can we talk about this alone? Please?" Seokjin asks and Hayun scoffs at the idea, but Namjoon nods and turns to her.

"Bye." Namjoon practically drags Seokjin across the building so they can pay for their books. When they get outside to the company vehicle, Namjoon shoves the bags of books into the very back and then he pesters Seokjin once they're sitting in the back seat. "Hyung, I need you to be totally blunt with me here. The others and I are worried about you and Choi Hayun. What is going on between you two? The others say she acts weird and you don't seem to like it."

Seokjin frowns. He's totally transparent to the others, but he wasn't doing so great at hiding it anyway; he literally told her to leave the restaurant and he was trying his damndest to explain to Jungkook that he's not dating that psycho.

He sighs heavily.

"Remember when I did the solo collab with Jin Ramen?" he asks, and Namjoon nods, listening intensely. Again, Seokjin sighs as he thinks back to the time he first met her. "I met her back then and I told her, the CEO and his wife, that I'd be with them for a lifetime. Hayun is a freaking psycho who thought I meant being with her. I was talking about the sponsorship, but I guess she's in the mindset that her and I are going to be together forever or something."

Namjoon is grimacing the entire time Seokjin speaks. He continues:

"She was there when I got out of the military. She started showing up everywhere I went." At this, Namjoon's face twists uncomfortably and Seokjin swears he's turning white. "She was everywhere, so I just... started being nowhere at all, so she couldn't find me."

"That's why you were so inactive and off the grid?" Namjoon questions with a serious frown. "Hyung, you should've reported her to the police or something. She's been stalking you?"

Seokjin shrugs. "I don't know, maybe. I thought it was a coincidence at first, but now I feel like she knows where I am no matter where I go—like today, her showing up at a bookstore that's nowhere near where we live. And when she showed up at the restaurant and tried to sit with me." He sinks down into the car seat. "I didn't want to ruin the members' sponsorship with Jin Ramen. I was going to report it after it was over with."

"Hyung," Namjoon's eyes worry into Seokjin's, "your safety is a trillion times more of a priority than some dumb ramen sponsorship. You need to report it now so her actions have consequences. And you should explain this to the others, too. They're worried about you." He places a comforting hand on Seokjin's knee. "Jungkookie is worried about you."

The way Namjoon singles out Jungkook makes Seokjin panic. "Jungkookie?"

Namjoon purses his lips into a small smile. "He cares about you a lot, you know?"

Seokjin's heart clenches. He has no idea whether Namjoon knows it or not, that Seokjin likes Jungkook, but the implication that Jungkook in particular is worried about him makes Seokjin delusionally think that maybe—just maybe—Jungkook likes him too. But he knows it's not like that. Namjoon just wants him to know that the youngest is really worried and to not let it affect him. His poor maknae soul.

"I'll tell them when we get home," he tells Namjoon, lifting his pinky finger as a promise just to make Namjoon smile.

"And you'll report her to the company so they can sue her ass?"

Seokjin hums. "Maybe I'll tell them to warn her first. I kinda feel bad for her." Namjoon gives him a look that says seriously? but Seokjin pouts in response. "Don't worry, if she does anything weird ever again, the company will be on her ass. I just don't want to make it a big deal unless I have to, you know?"

Namjoon sighs. "I feel like you should make it a big deal, but alright. If you say so."

"Thank you. Now let's go home so I can tell the others and then read my book."

"Okay, hyung."

Namjoon tells the driver to take them home while Seokjin texts their group chat and tells the other members to meet him at his apartment tonight. They question why, but Seokjin simply tells them to bring drinks and a pair of pajamas if they wanna stay over—he's mostly talking to the maknae line, but he knows that Yoongi will want to stay and be cuddled up to by Jimin anyway.

When they get to Seokjin's apartment, he cooks some beef and noodles for everyone, and he's unsurprised that Jungkook is the first to show up and even more unsurprised that he takes it upon himself to look through every single book that Namjoon bought just out of curiosity.

"Hyung, is this your book?" Jungkook asks as he steps into the kitchen and peeks over the book that's sitting on the far right of the counter.

"Yup. Namjoon picked it out for me."

"He told me you guys picked one out for each other." Jungkook flips the book over to read the summary. "It's a romance book?"

Seokjin nods. "Will you get me out a pair of tongs, please?" He changes the subject.

Jungkook instantly goes to the other side of the kitchen, knowing exactly where the tongs are sitting in the countertop utensil holder. He clangs the tongs a few times before giving them to Seokjin and then he leans against the counter next to the older, watching him flip juicy beef.

"Romance, huh?" he questions. Seokjin glances at him, wondering for a split second if Jungkook's bitter tone has anything to do with his delusional thoughts of Jungkook liking him back, but he brushes it off and shrugs.

"Namjoon must be trying to tell me something," he chuckles. The slight grimace on Jungkook's face makes Seokjin's smile falter. "About that..." Jungkook's eyes search his frantically, so curious that he can't stop his expression. Seokjin gives him a small smile. "Like I was saying the other day, before I was interrupted, I am not dating Hayun or anything like it. She's actually the reason I called you all over here tonight."

Jungkook's eyes widen and Seokjin is positive that there's fear glistening in them. He can't deny the worry on Jungkook's face and the way he bites his lower lip.

"What about her, hyung?"

Seokjin flips the last bit of meat and deems it done, so he puts it on a plate and then hands it to Jungkook. "Let's eat first."

"I don't want to." Shocked, Seokjin stares at Jungkook; he's never seen the younger deny food before in his life. Jungkook sounds desperate, "I want to know now, hyung. You're worrying me." Why would Jungkook be worried? Seokjin's question gets answered almost immediately when Jungkook tells him, "I don't know what's going on and I hate it. But I don't like Hayun, hyung. You deserve so much better. You deserve someone who will love you right."

Feeling a little more confident now that Jungkook has admitted his feelings towards Hayun, Seokjin feels like he should admit his own feelings—situation—as well.

"Let's go, then. To the others."

They bring the food to the table and everyone begins filling bowls of noodles and picking through the meat. Seokjin and Jungkook are sitting together, Namjoon is sitting between Hoseok and Taehyung, and Yoongi is at the end of the table with Jimin diagonal from him so they can share their food easier.

Both Jungkook and Namjoon are watching Seokjin carefully.

The boys are talking so happily and Seokjin would hate to ruin the moment. But in true leader fashion, Namjoon is the one who opens up an opportunity for Seokjin: "Guys." His voice is deep and serious, easily catching everyone's attention. Taehyung has noodles still hanging from his mouth, but his eyes are set on the leader's just like everyone else's. Namjoon eyes find Seokjin's. "Hyung has something important to say. That's why he called us here."

Jungkook tilts his head at Seokjin and murmurs, "Namjoon hyung knows?"

He feels only slightly guilty for telling Namjoon first, but it was in the heat of the moment and also Namjoon is their leader and he couldn't stop himself. Seokjin sighs and nods to Jungkook's question. "Yeah, okay. I guess we're doing it like this, then." He taps his chopsticks anxiously against his bowl, staring down at it so he dosn't look anyone in the eyes. "So I think I've been getting stalked by Choi Hayun." The silence in the room is extremely loud. "She was there at my leave from the military, she kept coming up to me on the sidewalk or in places I'd never seen her before, and recently I feel like she's been tracking me or something. She thinks we're together and in love just because I met her at my photoshoot with Jin Ramen. It's kind of sad, really."

He looks up into everyone's eyes, and the fact that they're all staring at him so strongly makes him feel uneasy. They look either disgusted, sorry, or terrified. Namjoon still looks angry like he did at the bookstore, clenching his jaw, and when Seokjin turns to see Jungkook's reaction, he's shocked to see that he, too, looks angry—threateningly evil glare, lips pursed into a thin line, and his jaw clenched as well. Now that Seokjin thinks about it, he's never seen Jungkook angry before. Jungkook is always so kind, so pure, so cute, but never has he looked like he's about to punch someone all the way into outer space before.

"So you're telling me," the youngest begins, clenching his fist over the table as he gives Seokjin his full-body attention, chest rising heavily as he breathes in, "Choi Hayun has been throwing herself onto you for a year now? And stalking you? Hyung, why didn't you say something? Or knock some damn sense into her?"

Seokjin laughs self-depreactingly. "I didn't want to ruin our collab together. Didn't you have fun posing with Jin ramen packets?"

"No!" Jungkook cries out desperately. "I didn't! Because I was too busy wondering why Choi Hayun was all over you!" Jungkook scoffs in disgust. "And now that I know why, I want to scrape her eyeballs out with wooden spoons."

"Jungkookie," Yoongi calls out from the lower half of the table, "why are you so worked up about it? Our company will handle her, right hyung?" He looks at Seokjin with hope and expectancy in his eyes.

"If she continues, yes. But I plan on giving her a warning first."

Yoongi frowns, but nods in acceptance.

Taehyung speaks up quietly, "I totally agree with Jungkookie, though." He shrugs. "You should definitely not go easy on her, hyung."

Now that he has it off his chest, he feels much better. "I promise you guys, she won't be coming near me anytime soon." He places his hand on Jungkook's knee and squeezes gently because the maknae is still staring him down with worry. "I just wanted you guys to know that that's what's been going on, and not to worry about it anymore. She won't be showing up at our dinners or anything like that ever again." He smiles.

"I hope not," Hoseok speaks up. "I was ready to call security when she came onto you like that! How did you deal with that for so long? And for the sake of our collaboration? Hyung, your safety is so much more important than some noodles."

Namjoon places his arm around Hoseok's shoulder. "That's what I told him, too."

"I'm sorry," Seokjin sighs out. "I should've told you guys. I just didn't want to ruin it for you, and I don't like to make a big deal of things."

"It's okay."

"Just as long as she's never around you again."

They go on with their dinner, but even though Jungkook has finally been told the full story, he still doesn't eat. He wraps his arms around Seokjin and buries his face into his shoulder, not once letting go. He doesn't even let go when Seokjin taps his arm and makes him lift his head so he can feed him, telling him he's fine and there's nothing to worry about anymore.

He practically forces Jungkook to eat and the maknae is very willing, but he pouts as he chews and frowns as he lifts his drink. Eventually, it gets late and most of the members leave Seokjin's apartment. Yoongi and Jimin walk to Yoongi's apartment, Namjoon goes back to the company to work, and Hoseok can't decide whether he wants to stay in Seokjin's guest bedroom with Taehyung or if he wants to go work with Namjoon as well.

(Namjoon tells him he's too drunk to dance, so Hoseok cuddles Taehyung in the guest bedroom.)

Jungkook has never been clingier in his life. Seokjin can't even put on his pajamas because he's got arms wrapped around him and a pouty Jungkook whining when he tries to free himself.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Jungkook asks just as Seokjin is pulling his shirt off, and his arms are loosely wrapped around Seokjin's waist. He's warm and Seokjin loves the touch, but he can't stop himself from blushing because he's shirtless and Jungkook is touching him regardless. "Hyung, why didn't you tell me? If I had known, I would've kept her away from you. Why didn't you let me protect you, hyung?"

Mirroring Jungkook's dissatisfied expression, Seokjin sighs. "Jungkookie..." He gently wraps his fingers around Jungkook's arms and lifts them, trying to get his attention, but all it does it make Jungkook wrap his arms around his neck instead, pouting at him with his big, pretty doe-eyes. Seokjin can't stop himself from calling him something cutesy. "Jungkookie, baby, why would I bother you with something like that? I don't want you to worry about things like that."

"Because," Jungkook says in a pout, not bothered by the pet name at all, "you mean everything to me. I don't want you being stalked or treated like that. And I- I don't want you to end up with some weirdo, either. You deserve so much better. You deserve... the best. You deserve the world."

Seokjin's eyes not once leave Jungkook's, and he can't tell if the hopeful look in Jungkook's eyes mean something or not. So, he asks, "Who exactly is the best for me, Jungkookie?" He inches his fingers above Jungkook's waist and notices the pleased glint in the maknae's eyes as his hands land there, nice and warm. "Who's the best for me?" he asks again, daring to know.

Jungkook lowers his arms only enough to cup Seokjin's jaw. "Me," he confidently says. "Us. We're the best for each other. I- I want to be the one to treat you right, hyung."

The beat of Seokjin's heart has never felt so loving.

"You're right," he agrees with a smile. "You're the best for me, Jungkookie."

He gently tugs Jungkook's waist closer and the whole world comes to a standstill as Jungkook meets him halfway. It feels like a dream, the way Jungkook brings him in with the palm of his hands and the way their lips meet, then melt into each other. Seokjin feels like he's floating in the clouds as he kisses Jungkook, digging his fingers into his tiny waist as Jungkook's chest meets his bare one; it's then that Seokjin's ears grow red hot, reminding himself that he's shirtless and he's fucking kissing Jeon Jungkook.

A bit embarrassed, he pulls away, blushing like crazy. Jungkook looks confused, but when Seokjin covers up his chest and shies away, the younger giggles.

"Hyung, are you shy?"

Seokjin nods. "Extremely," he says, "and you already know that, so I don't know why you're asking." Again, Jungkook giggles as he throws Seokjin's pajama shirt his way.

"Because I like teasing you."

Seokjin puts his shirt on and then sits at the edge of his bed, but not without Jungkook following him and pushing him down onto the mattress.

"What are you—"

"Shh," Jungkook silences him with a peck against his lips. Seokjin stares up at the beauty above him, admiring the sight of Jungkook in this position. "You're not gonna believe the things I want to do to you." He leans into the heat of Seokjin's ear, making him blush impossibly more as he whispers in a low voice, "For now, I'll just kiss you lifeless."

Jungkook kisses his ear, then his neck, and moves to Seokjin's face, kissing along every inch he can until they're both giggling and Seokjin tries to fight against the scene.

"Jungkookie!"

To silence Seokjin's giggly-protest, Jungkook places his lips right against Seokjin's, his hand cupping Seokjin's jaw once again, and they settle down as they melt into each other. The kiss is electric, yet soft and sweet. Seokjin wants to kiss these lips for the rest of his life.

♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎♡♥︎

The collaboration was posted. The company was informed about Seokjin's situation and even though the actions were silent, they were still taken; Seokjin was able to tell Hayun to stay away from him or else legal action will be held against her. She tried to message Seokjin and ask him what the hell was going on, but he finally just blocked her after telling her to never message him again or else she'll have hefty consequences.

As for Seokjin and Jungkook's relationship, neither of them have been happier.

Jungkook can't believe he held his feelings back for so long. Now that he's with Seokjin, it feels as though their relationship is set to the max setting which includes hugging, kissing, holding hands, and so much more that he never would've imagined as a reality. He loves being with Seokjin and it's only been two weeks since they've gotten together.

Seokjin feels content with life. Making music, being with the boys, and being with Jungkook—it's all he's ever wanted and more. Everything feels great. Even the boys are happy for them, congratulating them and telling each other I told you so and They're so disgustingly cute.

Though it's already been two weeks since they officially confessed their feelings for each other and got together, tonight is only their second date. Their first date wasn't exactly your typical one, considering all they did was cook at Jungkook's place and then play video games after. But this date is different because they're dressed up all nicely and they're going to a fancy restaurant which probably has a vase sitting in the center of the table with flowers in it.

Seokjin is wearing a pastel blue button-up and Jungkook is wearing a nice black dressy shirt, looking fine as hell with his hair slicked back.

"You didn't have to dress like an absolute meal," Seokjin tells him, "we're already going out to eat. How will I save room for you too?"

Jungkook grins, his gorgeous teeth on display. "I'm sure you'll make room for me."

They intertwine their fingers and make their way into the restaurant. Sure enough, it's got fancy dim lighting, fancy decorations, a candle lit in between them, and their table is completely sealed off from every other table in the building. They're all alone, taking in the sight of each other and smiling, laughing away as they talk throughout dinner.

"We should ask each other some typical date questions," Seokjin says.

"But I already know everything about you."

"True." Seokjin hums, tapping a spoon against his lips. "Ah, but I bet you don't know what my favorite act of intimacy is, do you?"

Jungkook tells him, "No, but I want to know now that you mention it." He leans over the table. "What is it? Kissing? Holding hands? Cuddling?"

"Bingo," Seokjin says with the snap of his finger. "I love cuddling. Especially you."

"Oh?" Jungkook smiles. "So all those times we cuddled, I'm sure you must've loved it, huh?" he asks, and Seokjin nods. "Well, I loved it too. I love everything you do." Seokjin blushes, but he doesn't get to say anything before Jungkook speaks up again. "My favorite is just touching you in general. I like holding your hand or putting my hand on your knee. Anything like that."

"Oh, come on, you can't just say anything. Which one do you like the most?"

Jungkook giggles. "Well, can you blame me? I love it all." He hums in thought, averting his eyes. "I guess I do like kissing you a lot. But that's mostly because of my oral fixation." Seokjin inhales a gasp, nearly choking on his food, and Jungkook makes sure he's okay before he lightly laughs. "Too soon?"

Seokjin waves him off. "Nah, nope. Not at all. I'm totally normal about this new piece of information." He definitely doesn't have dirty thoughts about Jungkook's oral fixation. "Anyways. You can touch and kiss me all you'd like because I love it just as much. So what about favorite pet names? What do you like to be called?"

"Oh." Jungkook smiles shyly as he looks away. "I like it when you call me baby. You've done that a lot. Extra points if it's pretty baby."

Seokjin loves calling him both of those: pretty and baby. "Kay, noted."

"What about you?"

"I also like baby. And love."

Jungkook smiles sweetly as he eases his hand over the table and over Seokjin's, caressing his skin. "Love? That's so sweet. I'm gonna love calling you love."

And he really does, using it in replacement of hyung under most circumstances for the rest of their dinner. He says things like Do you want dessert, love? and What do you wanna do now, love? Go to the movies? Or would you rather watch a movie at home?

Seokjin uses pet names in return—specifically the one Jungkook likes: I'm paying, baby; Oh my God, you're so cute, my baby; Let's go home so I can cuddle you, baby.

They set out so they can go to Jin's place and change out of these uncomfortable clothes. As they walk out of the restaurant, they're both unimpressed once they notice a familiar face at the same exact time; Choi Hayun is walking up the parking lot of the restaurant. She notices them as well and raises her hand as if she wants to greet Seokjin, but then she stops herself.

She stops herself because Jungkook settles in behind Seokjin and wraps his arms around his waist. He nuzzles into Seokjin's neck and kisses gently, holding him close. Seokjin is embarrassed having someone watch such intimate doings, but he knows that Jungkook is possessive and knows he's doing it just to show off to Hayun.

Hayun looks devastated, but breaking her heart is the only way to keep himself safe, so he leans into Jungkook and smiles genuinely, basking in the glory of Jungkook's affection.

"Have you shown off enough yet?" Seokjin asks. "Can we go home now?"

"Nope." Jungkook swirls Seokjin's body around and pulls him in by his waist, attaching their lips and smiling into the kiss as Seokjin yelps. When he pulls away, Seokjin's eyes are wide and Jungkook's smirk is evil and satisfied. "Now we can go."

Seokjin shakes his head fondly, and he notices Hayun walking away in his peripheral vision. "You are such a show-off. I love it. I love you."

A smile stretches onto Jungkook's face.

"I love you too, my love."
