Yoongi sighs as he waits for the hotel receptionist to check him into his room. Even though Busan is just a train ride away, it still would cost too much to go back and forth from his home in Seoul to the place in Busan that he'll be working on for the month.
Rarely does Yoongi work out of the city of Seoul, but his sweet and reliable regular client—Jeon Jungkook—had recommended Yoongi's business to a few friends back in Busan. Refusing such a job with amazing pay like this would be crazy, plus his hotel room is paid for by this client, so he isn't complaining one bit. It's nice to come out here and help somebody plan out their dream home.
Park Jimin's dream home, to be exact.
For the remainder of the month of November, Yoongi will be discussing Jimin's dream home with him and helping him plan out everything he wants. All he has to do is be the brains to Jimin's creativity. It shouldn't be too hard.
When the receptionist finally arrives, Yoongi gives him his name.
"Ah, you're the one who's going to help Jiminie with his renovations," the handsome guy behind the counter says. He doesn't even bother to put Yoongi's name into the computer or give him his key yet. Instead, he props his elbow onto the counter, puts his chin in his palm, and smiles widely at Yoongi. "So you're going to be here for a while, right? I'll warn you about two things."
Yoongi raises an eyebrow at the man. "What's your name again?"
"Kim Seokjin," the handsome man tells him, then continues, "One: The barbeque restaurant down the road is the best in town. The hottie that goes by Joon is mine."
"I don't plan on flirting with anyone while I'm here, so you don't have to worry about that," Yoongi tells him, which leads to the other smiling like a fool.
"That brings me to Two: Park Jimin is a flirt. Don't let that boy get to your head, now." Seokjin points his finger to Yoongi and gives him an accusatory look. "He'll get to you, I promise. He even almost got to me once and I'm a firm Joon lover."
Yoongi chuckles lightly at the whole ordeal. "I'm sure I'll be fine. I have to deal with old creeps all the time and they don't get to me."
"See but that's the thing," Seokjin tells him, "Jimin isn't an old creep. He's a hot flirt, plus he's a really close friend of mine, so I know he isn't a creep. He's just really... sweet. He'll sweet-talk you to death."
"I doubt it's that bad," Yoongi chuckles out. "I'm sure I'll be fine."
"Maybe." Seokjin shrugs. "If he isn't your type then I guess you're good to go. Just tell him not to flirt with you and he won't. I will say, he does tend to be sly with it. You can never really tell if he's being genuine or messing with you just for funzies."
Yoongi also shrugs. "It's fine. I'll just tell him to stop or ignore it." He holds out his hand. "Can I have my key now? It's been a long ride and I want to settle in."
Seokjin's expression is very animated as his thick lips form an o. "Right, of course!" He quickly types in Yoongi's name, getting the reservation ready, and since it's already paid for, he gives Yoongi the key. "I look forward to seeing you this month, Yoongi-ssi. I hope you have a nice stay! Remember to call me if you ever need anything."
"Thanks."
Finally, Yoongi heads up to his room on the second floor. Surprisingly enough, the hotel room looks like a mini apartment. It has a small kitchen, a desk, a cushioned seat by a bookshelf in the corner, and a nice fancy bed. The bathroom is to the left in a separate room and it's even fancier than the rest, having a waterfall shower head and lights around the bathroom mirror. It's so nice.
Yoongi didn't question how rich Jimin is because he knows the budget of his renovations, but damn. He didn't have to get Yoongi such a nice room for his stay.
He'll make sure to thank him for such a nice place. For now, he puts his suitcase and bag to the side and then climbs onto the bed, curling up and sighing away the long ride here. When he goes and takes a shower, it's warm and feels great against his skin. He ends up under his blankets and fast asleep, peacefully snoozing the evening away.

Yoongi swears this house is thirty feet tall. It's definitely got two stories, which isn't uncommon, but the exterior design alone lets Yoongi know that this house hasn't been built for too long—maybe a few years old. As he knocks on the gorgeously modern door, he wonders why Jimin needs renovations if his house is newly built.
The door opens in a flash, revealing a man who looks younger than Yoongi. He isn't looking at Yoongi yet, instead rubbing at the back of his messy locks of blonde hair and yawning to himself. Yoongi is a bit awkward, but he pushes himself out of his turtle shell.
"Park Jimiin-ssi?" he questions, watching as the man picks at his beige t-shirt, lifting it off of his skin to get some air in. He's wearing pajama pants as well. For some reason, Yoongi expected someone wearing a suit and tie to answer this door, but nope. It's just a gorgeous guy with puffy, tired eyes, and he's too sleepy to recognize Yoongi is even alive. "Park Jimin-ssi, I'm Min Yoongi. I'm the renovator you hired to work on your interior layout."
Finally, Jimin's eyes find Yoongi's. They go wide in shock. His cheeks are soft and round, and once Jimin notices what's going on, he raises his hands up to those cheeks and lets out a little gasp. He quickly runs his fingers through his hair.
"Right, right!" Jimin opens the door wider and gestures for Yoongi to come inside. "I, uh, I'm so sorry, Yoongi-ssi. I forgot today's date. Let me go freshen up and then we can get started. Here, have a seat." He gestures to the gray sofa near the entrance, which is where the living room is.
Jimin rushes upstairs while Yoongi observes the area. From what he can see, the place is totally normal and it looks nice. There's modern furniture, great paintwork, and nice placements of all the furniture as well. He can't imagine what he'll be changing up. Maybe it's in another room.
"So sorry about that," Jimin calls from the stairs about fifteen minutes later. Yoongi is already on his phone, but he sets it down and turns to smile politely back at—
Jimin.
Jimin, who was wearing pajamas before, is now completely freshened up. Though Yoongi thought he was about to come out in some normal clothes like a shirt and old jeans or something, Park Jimin practically shines and glows as he walks down the staircase in what can best be described as a party outfit, makeup, accessories, and everything.
Black ripped jeans, a belt strapped tightly to his waist, a white shirt underneath a shimmery loose jacket that sways as he walks. The sleeves of the jacket are long, engulfing his tiny hands, but Yoongi only notices this because Jimin steps up right beside him, sitting down next to him, and he lifts his arm over Yoongi's shoulder to pick lightly at his button-up seams.
"Would you like something to drink?" Jimin asks, his eyes piercing into Yoongi's like a siren's would; that's the only way to explain it. "I can get you anything you want, Yoongi-ssi."
Yoongi clears his throat and looks away. "I'm fine, thank you. We should get started on the layout. Where do you want these renovations to happen? A different room?"
Jimin shakes his head. "There's a lot I want to be fixed," he tells Yoongi with a dreamy sigh—why a dreamy sigh? "I want this to be changed." He points around his living room area, mostly at the big TV mounted on the wall. "I'd like for my TV to have an electric fireplace underneath it. One of those cool ones. And I want it to serve as a table as well."
Yoongi writes these ideas down. "So you don't want a fireplace that's built into the wall?" he asks, and Jimin tilts his head at him in question.
"Of course, I want it built into the wall."
But he wants it to serve as a table as well? Yoongi hums. "So you want a hanging one, where the fire is in the wall, but there's shelves hovering above it?"
"Maybe."
Maybe? Maybe?
Yoongi pulls out his phone to show Jimin a photo of what he's talking about, and Jimin nods.
"Is that what you want?"
Again, Jimin nods. "That's okay. I want it to be black, though." He removes his hand from Yoongi's shoulder and plucks at his sofa cushion. "I want all of this furniture gone. I want to change it from gray and white to black and navy blue. All this gray depresses me."
Fair enough. Yoongi writes that down.
"I want to change my whole house."
Yoongi glances up at Jimin, wondering just how much money this guy has. When Jimin's eyes meet his, Yoongi looks away, feeling heat rush through his cheeks as he catches a glimpse of Jimin's smirk.
"Yoongi-ssi," he calls out in a soft, yet devilish tone. It's almost sinful, how Jimin doesn't even have to touch him, yet Yoongi feels every bit of Park Jimin on his skin. "Why don't we talk about these things over some lunch? I'm starving."
Yoongi can't reject the offer because Jimin is saying he's hungry. What's he going to do? Say no? Obviously not. Instead he asks Jimin, "What are some good places to eat at around here? The guy at the hotel told me that the barbeque down the road is good."
"Ah, you met Seokjin hyung?" Jimin gets up from the sofa with a smile. "He's right. Let's go there, Yoongi-ssi. You'll love it." He holds his hand out to Yoongi and Yoongi doesn't want to be rude by rejecting the offer, so he places his palm into Jimin's and lets the younger help him up off the sofa. Even if it's just a split second that their hands meet, Yoongi's hand feels like it's on fire. He almost trips over his own feet because of the way Jimin smiles angelically at him as they head out.
♡♥︎♡♥︎♡
When they get to the barbeque restaurant, Jimin makes sure to order them plenty to eat. The waiter is clumsy and almost drops one of their plates, but he catches it and Jimin scolds him, "Namjoon hyung! Don't ruin my renovator's meal or I'll tell Jin hyung that you ate his sushi last week when he was looking for the culprit all day!"
Namjoon. That's the guy that Seokjin claims as his.
"Please don't," Namjoon lets out in a bit of fear, rubbing the back of his neck. "I'm already into trouble with him. I broke his charger so he couldn't play his game last night." Namjoon's eyes widen all of a sudden. "Ah, shit, I was supposed to buy him a new charger at lunch today and I forgot to!"
"Hyung! Language!"
Yoongi chuckles. "It's alright, I don't mind." He looks up at Namjoon. "You're the guy that Seokjin-ssi mentioned to me. If you want, I could get the charger for you and drop it by on the way to my hotel room later."
Namjoon gives Yoongi the most pleased, softest dimpled smile he's ever seen. "You are a blessing. I could never trust Jimin to do that for me, but I'll trust you—"
"Hey–!"
"Here you go." Namjoon pulls out some cash and plops it down onto the table. "Thank you so much. Enjoy your meal, Yoongi-ssi." He glances at Jimin, then loudly whispers to Yoongi, "Don't mind him. He'll put you through hell, but I promise he's a nice guy."
"Gee, thanks." Jimin rolls his eyes and Yoongi hides his smile. "Just go, hyung. Let us eat in peace. You're ruining the whole vibe I had set up."
Namjoon chuckles. "What vibe?"
"Go!"
At that, Namjoon finally leaves them to their meal. Seokjin was right about how tasty the food is. It's juicy, it's got flavor, and it's easy to chew. Perfect for Yoongi's first meal in Busan.
"Since we're nearby," Jimin suggests as they leave the restaurant, "why don't we go ahead and buy that charger for Jin hyung and drop it off? I'm sure he's bored, sitting behind the counter all day with nothing to do. Plus, I want to take you shopping."
"Take me shopping?" Yoongi questions as they stroll down the street, passing Jimin's car which they drove here in. The younger nods, gesturing to the streets beyond them.
"There's a lot of places here to shop at. I can show you the gaming shop that hyung usually gets his stuff from. It's basically his second home."
And so, Jimin leads Yoongi to the gaming store. It's a cute little shop, not big at all, but it has games lined up along the walls and gaming merch spotted everywhere as well. Yoongi almost gets distracted, but Jimin shows him which charger to get, bringing him back to reality.
After that, Jimin takes him to a clothing store. It's much bigger than the last shop and definitely has a lot more options to choose from—clothes of different varieties line every inch of the place. Yoongi plans on spending his cash on food and activities in Busan, though, so he dodges everything with an "I don't need it" or "That costs a kidney."
"Silly," Jimin says with that angelic smile of his. "I didn't bring you here for you to spend your own money, of course. I'll buy it for you. Anything you want."
Yoongi stares at him with curiosity, wide-eyed. "What is your profession, Jimin-ssi? If you don't mind me asking, of course."
He's still smiling, but this time it's sort of sheepish and shy despite his confident aura that Yoongi has picked up on this entire time. Jimin tells him, "I'm a doctor, but my family is wealthy. That's where I get so much money, if that's what you're wondering." He glances somewhere behind Yoongi and his eyes light up, then he changes the subject. "Oh my gosh, I'm buying you this."
Jimin steps around Yoongi, who watches in awe as the younger beelines to the pajama section. It takes a mere second before Yoongi realizes where Jimin is heading to. There's a rack of pajama hoodies that has different fruits displayed on them. The one Jimin picks up is big—probably too big for Yoongi's body—and it has tangerines on it.
"Look at this!" Jimin excitedly picks up the hood and shows Yoongi that there's a stem on top of it. When Yoongi steps up to him, Jimin holds the hoodie against his body and smiles even wider. "You would look so cute in this, Yoongi-ssi. Even cuter than you already are."
The rush of blood to Yoongi's cheeks is vicious. He blushes hard, hovering his fingers over his mouth and trying to keep calm. "Cute?" he questions, "I- I wouldn't know if I would call myself that."
"Oh, come on." Jimin folds the long hoodie over his arm as if he's for sure going to buy it. "You're very cute, Yoongi-ssi," he says as he skims his finger down Yoongi's arm. It sends a chill up Yoongi's spine. "Let's get you this so you can sleep comfortably in the hotel room. Let it be my gift for your hard work, yeah?"
Yoongi is still blushing, so he doesn't even think as he says, "Okay."
The only thing running through his mind is Jimin's confidence, Jimin's compliment, Jimin's touch, and how damn gorgeous Jimin is. It must be illegal.
"Thank you, Jimin-ssi."
Again, he gives that angelic smile. "You're welcome, Yoongi-ssi."
For some reason, it sounds like Jimin is teasing him. It leaves Yoongi blushing for the entire rest of the day, especially as Jimin flirts with him more back at the younger's house.
Though Jimin is difficult to please on some things, Yoongi finds himself wanting to please him in every way. It's weird.
Jimin wants a fireplace and a fancy bath in his bathroom? Who is Yoongi to judge such luxury? Jimin wants a completely different kitchen layout? Yoongi writes it all down for him. Jimin wants his dining room to match the kitchen? That's the fairest thing he's asked for so far. Jimin wants a built-in safety latch in his wall, hidden behind a picture frame that nobody would think to look behind? Okay, that one is a bit crazy, but who is Yoongi to judge?
"You better not tell anyone where my secret safe is," Jimin points an accusing finger at Yoongi. He holds his hands up in his defense.
"I would never, Jimin-ssi."
Jimin looks pleased. Just as Yoongi wants.
As they're passing by the kitchen again, Jimin suddenly stops and stares at the area, and Yoongi stops as well, waiting in silence. Clearly, Jimin is thinking about something because he lifts his finger to his chin and glances around.
"Do you think there's anywhere I could put a wine rack?"
The kitchen is pretty big, but Jimin has so many appliances and little space to put a wine rack. So, Yoongi tells him, "I'm not sure. There's not a lot of room here."
"Hmm." Jimin turns to him and gives a sweet smile, but it turns to bittersweet as he says, "You can figure it out, right? That's what you're here for." He boops Yoongi on the nose and Yoongi stands there in awe for a minute before he realizes that Jimin is walking away.
Park Jimin sure has a lot of requests—most being odd and wild ones.
He's lucky he's cute, or else Yoongi would've hated this job and never come back for future projects. Instead, Yoongi takes on everything and more for Jimin, and he plans to make everything just how Jimin likes it.
♡♥︎♡♥︎♡
"You're looking very nice today, Yoongi-ssi. Did you dress up all pretty just for me?"
Yoongi looks down at his black slacks and button-up shirt. He refuses to look Jimin in the eyes. "This is what I normally wear, Jimin-ssi. These are my work clothes."
Later on, Jimin compliments Yoongi's ability to do quick math in his head as he's trying to calculate the distance between Jimin's bathroom sink and the wall. He tells Yoongi that he's so quick and so smart, brushing his fingers along the back of his arm. Yoongi clenches his jaw and tries not to fold under the younger's warm and enticing touch.
"It's basic math, Jimin-ssi."
When dinner time comes, Jimin orders food to his house and insists on Yoongi staying over to eat. Yoongi is too lazy to order his own food, too tired from working today, so he allows himself to indulge. He sits with Jimin in the living room with takeout placed all over the coffee table. They share food and talk, and Yoongi hardly notices the subtle way Jimin leans closer and closer until their eyes are merely inches apart and Yoongi bites his tongue, averting his eyes to gather himself.
"Have you been getting closer this entire time?" he questions, and Jimin smiles that angelic smile of his.
"You're just now noticing?"
"Yes."
Jimin giggles, then places his food on the table before he leans back into the sofa.
"Well," he lets out dreamily as he looks up at Yoongi with innocent eyes, but Yoongi is almost certain it's too innocent to be true. "Yoongi-ssi, you aren't pushing me away." Jimin lifts his small fingers up to Yoongi's chin, guiding the older to lay his head down and face him. It causes Yoongi's breath to hitch and all he can do is stare dumbly with his small bowl of rice still in his hands, frozen. "Are you going to push me away?" Jimin asks.
He should. He needs to. But the warmth of Jimin's palm eases over Yoongi's cheeks and it makes his brain freeze as well.
"Jimin-ssi..."
Almost like Jimin is a siren who caught his victim, Yoongi is stuck in place, totally willing to let Jimin win. But as Jimin inches closer and closer to him, Yoongi remembers his conversation with Seokjin—the very first time he'd ever been warned by someone else before—and he recalls Seokjin saying Park Jimin is a flirt. Don't let that boy get to your head. He most definitely did. Park Jimin got to his head, making him blush and think about everything he says as if it means anything at all.
As Jimin leans in, Yoongi can't help but think that if they kissed, it would mean nothing. Yoongi isn't one to waste time with things like this. He doesn't have the time nor motivation for insignificant moments. So, he pulls away, leaning back up off the sofa and sitting up straight. Jimin flinches, sitting up as well, but Yoongi can't find it in himself to get a look of his expression.
He sets his food down on the coffee table.
"I'll get going now, Jimin-ssi."
"Wait, I—"
"Thank you for the meal," Yoongi cuts him off. He didn't notice before, but his throat is closed up and it's hard to speak. He isn't sure why, but it's similar to the feeling of holding back a cry. Hell, maybe he is. "I'll come back tomorrow afternoon. I'll see you then, Jimin-ssi. Have a good night."
Jimin doesn't say anything other than a soft little "okay" as Yoongi heads out the door. When the wind hits his face, Yoongi realizes that he was holding his breath, so he sighs out into the fresh air.
After he gets back to his hotel room, Yoongi curls up into the tangerine hoodie that Jimin bought him, and for some reason, it feels a lot heavier than the night before. Or maybe it's just because of the regret Yoongi feels for letting Jimin get to him.
He should've listened to Seokjin.
He shouldn't have let Jimin get into his head.
♡♥︎♡♥︎♡
Yoongi decides to talk to Seokjin since he seems to know more about Jimin than anyone else he knows. Plus, Seokjin is the one who warned him in the first place, so maybe he'll be kind enough to help Yoongi understand the situation and move on better.
"So you've fallen for the angel, I see."
Yoongi slightly cringes to himself. "I wouldn't say fallen. I've known him for two days."
"And yet you've still fallen." Seokjin tsks. "What a shame. I knew you would fall right into those big pretty eyes of his. Have no fear," Seokjin says as he pulls something out from behind the hotel counter. "Here is the cure to The Park Jimin Effect."
It's a can of beer.
"They allow you to have that back there?"
"I allow whatever I want," Seokjin says with a bit of laughter. Then he scoots the can a little closer to Yoongi. "Go ahead, drink away. Tell me about your problems, Yoongi-ssi." He's pretending to be a bartender.
Scooting the can back, Yoongi tells him, "It's ten o'clock in the morning. I'm not drinking this early. Besides, it's not like I'm in love with Jimin or something, I'm not drinking my sorrows away."
Seokjin raises a brow at him. "Then what exactly are you coming to me for, if it's not to complain about your one-sided love?"
"I don't know if it's one-sided or not," Yoongi admits with a small pout set on his lips. Seokjin tilts his head, curious to hear more. "I came to you because I'm not sure if Jimin is being serious or not. You said that even you almost fell for him. What did he do with you that made you feel that way?"
Seokjin chuckles. "He told me that I was the most handsome man in the world and then fed me ramen from his very own bowl. I thought he was ready to marry me that night, but he's just naturally sweet and naturally gives compliments. That's why everyone assumes he's flirting with them. So tell me, did Jimin compliment you and now you think he loves you or something?"
Yoongi's pout becomes more prominent. "He compliments me, sure. But last night during dinner, he leaned in close like he was about to kiss me and I freaked out—"
"What?!" Seokjin screeches, pounding his palm onto the counter and startling Yoongi. Both of their eyes are wide, but for completely different reasons. "Jimin tried to kiss you?! Is he insane?! He just met you!"
Yoongi scratches awkwardly at his ear. "I wasn't sure if he was being genuine or just messing with me."
Seokjin is still gawking. "I can't believe this. He tried to kiss you and you still aren't sure if he likes you or not?"
"You told me he flirts with everyone..."
"Okay, yeah, but he doesn't go around kissing people! He clearly likes you!"
"Oh." Yoongi pauses, frowning to himself. "But I left when he tried to kiss me because I freaked out and thought he was messing around like he did with you."
Seokjin facepalms. "He didn't try to literally kiss me or anything like that. Jimin is naturally flirty, but I think he's actually flirting with you. There's no way Jimin would try to kiss someone if he didn't like them."
The thought makes Yoongi feel guilty.
"I think I messed up."
Seokjin pokes a crooked finger into Yoongi's collarbone. "Absolutely not! You can redeem yourself, Yoongi-ssi! Go tell Jimin you're madly in love with him and kiss him right on the mouth. Thank me later."
"I wouldn't say I'm in love—"
"Go! Get out of here!" Seokjin shoos him away with his hands. "I don't care if you're in love or not, you still have a chance to fall in love, so go! Talk to him!"
Yoongi is slightly terrified by the thought of committing to such a thing. What if it all goes wrong? What if he read it wrong? What if Seokjin is wrong? What if Jimin actually did just want to kiss him and nothing more?
There's only one way to find out, unfortunately.
♡♥︎♡♥︎♡
Yoongi is awkward whenever Jimin opens his front door for him. He has no idea what to do—apologize for not leaning in along with Jimin yesterday? Pathetic. And it's not like Jimin exactly deserves an explanation or anything, but Yoongi wants to give one. So as soon as the door open, Yoongi opens his mouth.
"Jimin—"
"Yoongi— oh." Jimin clears his throat, and almost as awkward as Yoongi, he opens the door a little more and brushes his fingers nervously through his hair. "Sorry. You were saying?"
Quickly, Yoongi throws his hands up. "No, no, you go first. It's okay," he says, but it's mostly because his throat closes up. He's terrified and still not exactly sure what to say despite practicing a billion speeches earlier.
Expecting Jimin to say something about the remodeling, Yoongi's shoulders deflate. He doesn't want to brush over their little moment from last night, but it seems that's what Jimin plans to do—at least Yoongi assumes so. He assumes that much, up until Jimin lets out a shaky breath and backs up into the house, gesturing for Yoongi to follow inside.
"I'm sorry," Jimin blurts out, turning to face Yoongi. Now that the door is closed and they're inside, the silence is overwhelming to Yoongi. He holds his breath, unsure of why Jimin is apologizing right now. Jimin looks guilty, frowning to himself. "I'm so sorry for last night. For making you uncomfortable. I promise I'll never make a move on you again, Yoongi-ssi. I understand if you no longer want to work for me."
Standing dumbly, Yoongi's lips are parted in awe as he watches the nervous twitches in Jimin's eyebrows and anxious fingers filtering through his perfectly beautiful blonde hair.
"Jimin-ssi..." Yoongi is anxious as well, yet he still finds the courage to reach out for Jimin's hands. It earns wide eyes in return, like Jimin is shocked by Yoongi's move—hell, Yoongi is shocked just as much, if not more. He just wants Jimin to stop anxiously fidgeting. "I'm sorry for last night. You didn't make me uncomfortable. I- I just don't do one night stands. Especially not with clients."
Jimin's lips part as well, his eyes still wide. "I didn't plan on a one night stand," he lets out genuinely, squeezing Yoongi's fingers in reassurance. He pulls one hand away, lifting it to Yoongi's cheek and pressing his small, warm palm there. "You are such a gorgeous guy, you look and sound so amazing when you focus on your work, and you put up with my difficult requests. I know it's crazy, but I'm obsessed with how perfect you are, Yoongi-ssi—like you were made for me."
Frowning, Yoongi leans into Jimin's palm. "Jimin..." Their eyes meet. Yoongi hates that he still feels unsure despite Jimin's effort. "You're gorgeous too. Like an angel. But I was told that you flirt a lot, so I was unsure of your intentions. I still am."
Jimin's eyes widen. "Who told you that I flirt a lot?!" he asks, sounding offended as he pouts his way through his question. "I mean- I joke around a lot, sure, but I've never made a genuine move on somebody since I was in high school! A teenager!"
Yoongi's chest lightens up as he sighs out a small laugh. "Seokjin. He says you're a natural flirt, and to remind myself that it means nothing serious if you flirt with me."
"That man," Jimin grits out as he rolls his eyes. He cups Yoongi's cheeks with both of his hands. "I was serious when I was leaning closer to you last night, and I'm serious now as I tell you that you are the most adorable person I have ever seen and I want to hold your hand every second of the day."
A surge of blood rushes to Yoongi's cheeks, warm against the palms of Jimin.
"I wouldn't mind that at all, Jimin."
And so, Jimin reaches down, intertwining his fingers between the warmth of Yoongi's. They both smile like fools, but Yoongi's smile stretches achingly over his face as Jimin leans in and places a soft kiss to his forehead. It's so sweet he wants to cry.
"How about I take you on a lunch date?" Jimin asks as he takes his car keys out of his pocket. "It's all on me. Take it or leave it."
Yoongi squeezes the younger's hand.
"I'll take it a hundred times over, please."
