💕 To Let Somebody Go | Taegikook

[Summary]  (Com work)

❗️A/B/O❗️

Jungkook is in a secret relationship, fighting back the tear in his heart every time he's told that he's not an alpha worthy being seen with. His boyfriend refuses to be seen with him and though it hurts, he loves his omega, so he stays.

But when all is said and done, Jungkook finds out who's really there for him in the end. He finds out just where he truly belongs— right in the arms of Min Yoongi and Kim Taehyung.

~

Things were as simple as could be.

At first.

Jungkook had kept secrets before, plenty of times in his life. Though he didn't like keeping secrets from his pack, it was as simple as his omega boyfriend told him it was, to simply not speak. It was as simple as: respecting and loving Ji Eunchan.

As an alpha with the mindset of wanting to please everyone, especially his omega, it wasn't hard for Jungkook to listen to his boyfriend. Eunchan had so badly wanted to be with Jungkook, to have such a good-looking alpha to keep to himself, but it came with some tough decisions as well.

"I can't be seen with you," he had told Jungkook a couple of months ago. Though it hurt, Jungkook still listened with his big, curious brown eyes. "Your tattoos, your piercings, the things you wear— people will look at us weirdly, Alpha. Let's just keep it a secret, okay?"

The way Jeon Jungkook is.

Jungkook is a tattoo artist, so of course he has his own meaningful tattoos, and of course he has his cool eyebrow piercing and lip piercing and his many earrings as well— they're awesome! All of it is awesome, including the things he wears like his black stomper boots and black bomber jacket, and he mostly loves his style because he looks so cool. Lots of people tell him how cool he looks! It's a true compliment.

Eunchan just didn't like that part of Jungkook, he learned. It was okay though, because not every couple agrees with everything! Jungkook was okay with Eunchan's uncertain look every time he showed him his new tattoo or when he'd talk about a cool tattoo he'd given someone that day. Eunchan's expression was funny, if anything.

And Jungkook had agreed to keep it a secret, their relationship.

His pack will be upset if, or rather when they find out, though.

His pack includes the four alphas and three omegas. Eunchan was friends with his pack at least, especially the omegas— Taehyung, Jimin, and Seokjin. They got along quite well. The alphas, however, Eunchan doesn't talk to unless Jungkook is near— Namjoon, Yoongi, and Hoseok. Thankfully none of the alphas seemed to want Eunchan in that type of way, even without knowing that he's Jungkook's boyfriend.

Eunchan had met his pack through Jimin. That's how he ended up meeting Jungkook as well. But he had his own pack— which was another one of the reasons he had asked Jungkook to keep their relationship a secret for now.

It was all good.

It was all good until Eunchan had said something to Jungkook one day that hit him a little too heavy.

They were on a date at their secret spot, on the rooftop of the tattoo and piercing shop, and they were eating the meal that Jungkook had ordered for them while enjoying the fresh rooftop air. Eunchan looked lovely and content in Jungkook's eyes, but...

"You got another tattoo?" the omega asked as he suddenly eyed Jungkook's arm. Jungkook hadn't told him about his new tattoo because he was afraid of this reaction. However, Jungkook simply chuckled.

"It's a tattoo of my birth flower—"

"You get too many tattoos," Eunchan sighed out. Only then did Jungkook's smile drop, as Eunchan avoided eye contact with him. "You dropped out of college just to permanently damage your skin and do it to others for a living, too. How's an alpha like you supposed to support a family one day, Jungkook?"

The question made Jungkook's appetite blow away in the harsh wind that suddenly blew his hair in his face, which he was glad of because his hair covered the tears that suddenly welled up in his eyes. Slowly, he lowered the food that he was about to put in his mouth and his head fell, those words playing over and over in his head.

An alpha like him.

An alpha who looks like him, an alpha who dropped out of college to pursue his dream, and an alpha who chose less money and work over schooling. Would he be such a bad example for his future pups? Would they look down on him for pursuing tattoo artistry and the joy of giving someone their first piercing or first tattoo, the pleasure of sharing the same feeling he'd gotten years ago? Would he be so bad?

Does Eunchan think so badly of him?

"I make decent money," he muttered more to himself. "It'll be okay, baby." The pet name almost got caught in his throat. It hardly felt right to call him that after feeling like such a letdown. Does Eunchan even see him as his alpha? Does he deserve having Eunchan?

The omega glanced over at him, then back to the evening sky, the orange tint shining over his dark brown hair as he scoffed. "It's whatever, Jungkook. I just don't understand you."

He never has, it seemed. Jungkook wasn't meant to be understood by someone who refused to understand. But Jungkook wanted to be a good alpha so badly. He wanted to be a good alpha for not only Eunchan, but for his pack as well...

Did they think the same way that Eunchan had?

What if they did? What if his pack secretly looked down on him for who he is? They'd never mentioned such a thing before, never mentioned the tattoo and piercing shop or the way he dresses or carries himself these days. They'd been there when he showed his first tattoo and they hadn't said much about it ever since. They never said a word when Jungkook dropped out of school either.

Was that a good or bad thing?

Jungkook is nothing like them...

Namjoon and Yoongi are studying psychology at their university, Jimin and Hoseok are joining a dance club together this year to try and learn more about it, Taehyung is in college to learn the basics for now, and Seokjin already graduated. Jungkook was the only one who chose this path— the not school path.

Not only that, but they aren't keeping things a secret from the pack when it comes to their relationships.

Yoongi and Taehyung had been the first two to come to Namjoon, the pack leader, with the news that they were seeing each other, and Jungkook had been amazed by it because they're so opposite from each other. They didn't keep their relationship a secret from anyone; they told them immediately so it wouldn't be bottled up for too long.

Only recently did Namjoon and Seokjin start being a bit more intimate, that the pack could see. It was nice to see the oldest and the pack alpha bonding, but it became more of an alpha-omega type of relationship, with Namjoon being so protective and loving with Seokjin— the boys assumed something was going on and Namjoon and Seokjin never denied it, only gave them soft smiles every time they're asked or teased. It just wasn't a secret.

Jungkook's situation was not theirs.

Eunchan isn't a part of their pack and Jungkook isn't the type of alpha to be seen with, in the omega's eyes. So, a part of Jungkook couldn't help but wonder if his very own pack wanted to be seen with him or not. He's so different from them. What if... What if?

"I'm leaving now."

He shot his gaze up to Eunchan, who stood up from the blanket they were sitting on and brushed his pants off. "You're leaving?" Jungkook asked, hoping that his gradually dulling scent hadn't made his boyfriend uncomfortable or anything. Eunchan merely shrugged in response, though.

"I have a class tomorrow," he said as he locked eyes with Jungkook. "You know, I have to go to class, because if you won't make a living for our future family, then who will?" Eunchan's words stabbed Jungkook's heart a million times over even if he knew their relationship was nowhere near as far along as Eunchan made it seem. They wouldn't even have a family anytime soon. "I'll see you later. Night, Jungkook."

Despite his words that seemed too cold to be true, Eunchan leaned over to Jungkook and pressed a quick peck to his cheek before he walked away.

Jungkook sat there in complete shock.

How could he possibly be a better alpha for Eunchan? The only way he could is if he works harder at the tattoo shop and maybe spends a little more time studying art, or maybe find a way to start bringing in more clients so money won't seem like an issue anymore.

The alpha in him felt broken, thinking that he isn't enough for Eunchan or for his pack— or even his future pups. His alpha didn't like the idea— no, he hated the idea of not being good enough for any of them.

But at the same time, he didn't want his pack to look bad either. If Eunchan doesn't want to be seen with him in a relationship, then Jungkook couldn't help but wonder how his pack felt with him in public or at all. He'd have to work hard not only for Eunchan, but he'd have to spend a little time trying to collect himself for his pack as well. He needed to be presentable and work harder than ever.

He would make his pack and Eunchan proud, whether it be the last thing he ever did.

-

"Jungkook-ah~" Taehyung poked at the alpha's arm, teasing from where he rested beside him on the couch. "Do you wanna hang out with Yoongi hyung and me today? We're gonna lunch at your favorite place." His favorite place was the restaurant with the tastiest lamb skewers and other delicious meats— but Jungkook shook his head.

"I have work to do."

Taehyung huffed. "Work? But you have Saturdays off."

He ignored the omega's words and stood up, making his way towards the door to put his black boots on, tying them tight. "Mhm, well, I started working Saturdays now and I study during evenings, so I can't go then either."

Working lots and studying more about tattooing had been going well for the two weeks he'd started his plan, but he'd been so tired recently because of it. So, after he put on his boots, he yawned and waved off Taehyung's pout, ignoring the slightly hindering scent and frustrated look Taehyung had given him.

Taehyung and Yoongi are boyfriends. Jungkook didn't belong going to lunch with them, anyways.

-

"Welcome— oh."

The bell on the door continued chiming as a familiar face walked into the shop, making Jungkook's head fall in defeat. He thought someone was here to get service; not him.

"You blew my baby off," Yoongi said as he walked up to the counter, which was a glass display filled with jewelry— piercings. Despite it being glass, Yoongi leaned over the counter and rested his chin on his palm as he came face-to-face with the other alpha. "You blew Taehyung off. Why?"

His scent was so familiar, so woodsy and nice. Jungkook had never liked another alpha's scent so much, but it was just nice in general. Nothing weird about that. Yoongi is just nice smelling.

"I didn't," Jungkook told him, "I have work on Saturdays now." As he spoke, he began to yawn during the last few words of his sentence, so Yoongi raised his eyebrow at him.

"You're working a lot, I heard."

Jungkook nodded. "Are you here to tell me that, or did you want a tattoo, hyung?" The older alpha chuckled at him as if to say yeah right, and Jungkook smiled lazily in return. He was so tired, and it felt illegal to even be at work on a Saturday, but money was raking up and he'd take Eunchan out on a nice date to show him so soon enough.

"I don't want a tattoo right now," Yoongi said as he looked down at the display book that held different tattoo arts inside. He started to flip through the book and smiled down at a few of the couple's tattoos. "Could you imagine Tae and I with this?" he asked as he pointed down at the little key and lock tattoo that was popular for couples to get.

"I couldn't imagine you with tattoos at all."

That was a part of the problem, that Jungkook thought his pack would never understand this part of him; the part that loves tattoos and piercings and maybe partying a bit, maybe going to bars sometimes, but blah blah blah. They'd never get it, would they? Eunchan would never understand it, so why would they?

"I thought about asking Taehyungie if we should get one together someday. You think he'd do it?" Yoongi asked, and Jungkook slightly scoffed at the way Yoongi joked about such things.

"Yeah, right."

The alpha raised his eyebrows back up at Jungkook, catching the hint of irritation in his voice. "I'm being serious, you know. Taehyungie said if he ever got a tattoo, he'd only trust you to give it to him. You know that?"

No.

How could he have known?

"I have work to do, hyung," he told Yoongi, who raised up with wide eyes at him. "Did you come here to scold me for not eating with you guys or what?"

Yoongi's gaze sharpened and his lips were set into a straight line as he suddenly lifted his hidden hand and revealed the plastic bag he'd walked in with. "It's yours," he said as he placed the bag on the counter. Jungkook eyed the bag. "I took Taehyungie home because he said he didn't wanna disturb you during work. But I don't care about disturbing you— You'll eat this, won't you?" He then also looked down at the bag.

Jungkook slowly opened it, already smelling the meat from the container inside. He just knew that his Yoongi hyung brought him lamb skewers to make sure he was eating well. His scent wasn't the only soothing thing about him.

"Thank you, hyung."

Yoongi huffed at him. "Just don't work too hard, Jungkook-ah. You look tired, you know? Get some rest."

He cares too much about Jungkook. Jungkook had to overwork to show him, to show the pack, and Eunchan just how worthy he is as an alpha.

"Okay. I'll try not to work too much," he lied. Not only does he keep secrets, but he also lies straight to his hyung's face like this.

How's an alpha like you supposed to rightfully belong to a pack that you can't even be honest to?

Jungkook sighed with the constant thought in his mind: I'll never be enough, will I?

-

Eunchan's birthday. That's when the tragedy of it all came crashing down.

With the money he had made by working his ass off and by advertising the tattoo shop to get more customers, Jungkook bought his boyfriend a cute keychain, which was a matching one for them to share, and he also asked Eunchan to meet him for dinner.

Eunchan looked nice in pretty much anything he wore and he smelled great, the familiar scent of sweet sugar— almost like chocolate— hitting his nose as he went in to hug the omega.

"What if someone sees?"

Jungkook rolled his eyes and held Eunchan closer. "We're not even in the city. Nobody will be here, trust me—" Eunchan pulled away from the hug and sat down at the table for two. Jungkook frowned down at him, but quickly took his own seat as well. He didn't want to mention how differently Eunchan had been treating him lately. "Happy birthday, baby."

He held out the little gift baggie that he had put the keychain in and Eunchan smiled as he took it— but his smile seemed off as well. Nothing seemed right today.

Even as he opened it and Jungkook explained that it was a matching couple's set, Eunchan's smile was forced.

"Jungkook-ah, you didn't have to..."

Jungkook waved his words off. "No, of course I did, baby. You're my boyfriend and today's your birthday."

"No, I mean..." Eunchan put the keychain back inside the bag and looked up at the alpha. "Let's just eat. I have something to talk to you about after dinner, though."

Something to talk about..?

That's never a good sign— since when has it been? How the hell was Jungkook supposed to eat, knowing that Eunchan wanted to talk about something? How could he possibly think of food right now, with that in mind?

Eunchan wasn't acting normal and that scared him even more. Jungkook hardly ate as much as he typically would and he practically sat and waited for Eunchan to finish, who took incredibly long to eat for no reason at all. After they were finally finished though, they went out to their cars, which were parked nearby.

"Why do you have something to talk about?" Jungkook asked almost immediately. The night air made him shiver and it was too cold, but he was too curious to care now. Eunchan's averted eyes and gulp made him even more worried than he was before they'd left the restaurant. "What do you—"

"Jungkook-ah, you're a sweet guy," the omega finally spoke up. He looked down at the baggie in his hand. Jungkook didn't like the way he started this conversation. "You're really hot and nice, and you're cute sometimes, but..."

But.

But.

"B-But what?" He didn't mean to stutter. He'd stopped stuttering so much lately, but fuck. He couldn't help it.

"You're just not the alpha for me," Eunchan spoke lightly, but every word he said created a slow tear in Jungkook's heart and soul. The alpha in him instantly whined out, wanting to cry and beg, to tell Eunchan that he can be the right alpha for him.

"I- I can fix that. I've been working extra hard these days. Isn't that—"

"I don't care how much you work," Eunchan scoffed. Again, another tear in Jungkook's heart. "It was fun while it lasted, but that's all it was. I need to settle down with someone, not whatever this is we're doing."

But Jungkook was ready to settle down! He had known that since the start of their relationship! How could Eunchan say these things? Had he not been taking their relationship as seriously as Jungkook had been?

"It really was fun," the omega chuckled. "I mean, don't take this the wrong way or anything, but I thought it was going to be like... you know. We didn't even have sex or anything. I thought that's what we were doing, but I wasn't expecting you to be so... yeah. You turned out okay."

What the fuck?

"You look all big and bad, but you're just a softie, aren't you?" Eunchan chuckled again. "People would look at you and think you're nothing but a bad-boy type of alpha. Even I didn't wanna be seen with you because of that, but it was the opposite in the end." He held the baggie with the keychain still inside of it up to Jungkook's chest. "Take it back. Like I said, you're just not the alpha for me, Jeon Jungkook."

What the fuck is going on?

Is he really doing this? Did he really just say all of that? Or was this some kind of sick dream?

"I- I don't understand." Still, he took the keychain back and let his arms fall as Eunchan raised his eyebrow at him.

"I'm breaking up with you. What's so hard to understand about that?" he asked, then patted Jungkook on the shoulder. "Good luck with the whole tattoo stuff. Sorry it had to be this way." He shrugged.

And then, just like that, Ji Eunchan turned on his heel and walked to his car, opening the door and getting in just to turn it on and pull right away. He left Jungkook just like that, with the alpha gawking as the car slowly disappeared and his heart finally tore all the way— right in half.

He'd just been broken up with.

And it hurt like shit.

-

"Yah, let's party!" Jimin yelled out as the omegas entered the house— Eunchan's house.

Taehyung and Seokjin trailed behind, eyeing around at the sweating people and red cups thrown about. The smell was god-awful, but it was because of the number of alpha and omega scents that were so heavily drowning out the place— sweat and lust and ew.

It was Eunchan's birthday, so of course he invited the three omegas over to his house party. They'd been friends, but hardly ever hang out like they should, so Jimin was happy to go party with him as well as the others.

But when they found Eunchan, he offered them a drink and was stumbling a bit as he went to get one for them. He'd easily been drinking. They followed to the kitchen, eyeing the omega while cracking up at him.

"You guys came," Eunchan yelled over the loud music as he poured the first drink. "I can't believe it. Thought that damn poor excuse of an alpha would've—" hiccup— "Damn- I thought he'd tell you guys and you wouldn't come tonight. Jungkookie~ Broke his poor little heart earlier. Poor guy."

Taehyung leaned against the wall and his face fell, no longer smiling. "What? What're you talking about?" he asked.

Eunchan hummed, smiling. "I finally got rid of him."

Jimin's hand shot out to the drink Eunchan was pouring and forced the omega's hand down, forcing him to stop pouring. "I know damn well you're not talking about what I think you are..?"

"Ah, let go~" Eunchan huffed as he pulled his hand back away, his scent souring as the three omegas glared at him. He seemed to sober up a bit. "Settle down. You guys know how it is when it comes to alphas. It's not like we could keep it from you guys forever anyways. It was exhausting."

"Keep what away from us?" Seokjin spoke up.

Taehyung's heart felt like it was being crushed by Eunchan's words. The way he was talking about Jungkook made him angry alone, but the fact that he talked about breaking Jungkook's heart made his own heart ache for the alpha.

"I broke up with him," Eunchan stated, and the three omegas' eyes widened. "Pitiful excuse of an alpha. Nothing like the other alphas in your pack—"

"Don't you fucking dare talk shit—" Jimin reached his hands up to grab at Eunchan, but Seokjin and Taehyung were quick to pull him back as Eunchan cowered back. It was Taehyung who stepped in front of Eunchan and lowered himself to be eye-to-eye with the omega, though.

"You broke up with who, exactly?" he asked, his voice low and eyes narrowing. He followed as the omega backed against the kitchen counter. He made sure to lock Eunchan against the counter to get an answer out of him. He could smell his fear. Good.

"W-Why are you guys acting like this?"

Taehyung scoffed, and then forcefully laughed right in his face. "If you tell me that you broke up with Jeon Jungkook and if you tell me you're talking this much shit about our Jungkookie, I might just break your jaw right now. So tell me, who is it you're talking about? 'Cause I know it's not Jungkook."

Eunchan gulped. "I-It's not that serious."

Taehyung clenched his fists and gave one good last glare to the omega before backing away from him. "You're good for nothing, Ji Eunchan. Don't you dare call us over again. Talk about a 'pitiful' alpha, when you're the poor excuse of an omega." He turned to his friends. "Let's go before I start punching. Where's Jungkook? Is he at home?"

Seokjin was frowning and Jimin was glaring hard at Eunchan, but they all pushed through the crowd of people angrily, gaining confused looks, but as soon as they left the house, Taehyung started cursing to himself and pretending to choke Eunchan with his hands forming a circle in the air.

"That little—"

"I'm gonna call Jungkook," Seokjin sighed. "I can't believe they were in a relationship. And wow, I can't believe Eunchan was just talking about him like that. That bastard."

Taehyung's heart truly did hurt for Jungkook, though. With the way Eunchan was speaking and with the way Jungkook's been so hard on himself lately, Taehyung couldn't help but think about how Jungkook was feeling right now.

When did all of this happen? Why would they keep it a secret? Why did Eunchan break up with him, and why was he talking so badly about him?

He really, really hoped that Eunchan didn't say any of these things to Jungkook's face. He knows how much Jungkook takes things to heart and how much words can hurt.

Fuck.

-

It was getting pretty late and Taehyung had left with the other omegas not too long ago, so it was a surprise when Yoongi's phone started ringing not long after Taehyung should've arrived at the party— the one for Eunchan's birthday that Yoongi had refused to go to.

He assumed that Taehyung was simply calling him to tell him they'd arrived at the party well, but as soon as he answered it Taehyung started grumbling and talking about choking 'this bitch'.

"Lord, what is it this time?"

Taehyung huffed through the phone. "This bastard— I'm never coming to his house ever again."

"What happened?" Yoongi asked as he sat upon his bed, leaning against the headboard. He was curious now.

"Ji Eunchan is dead to us now, Yoongi. I'm serious." He did sound serious, but why? "So... I'm gonna need you to go to Jungkook's room and see if he's home, okay? I just want you to go see if he's- uh- doing okay. I'll explain everything if Jungkook doesn't, just— just go to him please, please~"

Yoongi had no clue what Taehyung was on about, but he simply nodded. "Okay baby, is he alright? Did something bad happen?"

"I'm on my way home with the other two. Just go now, Alpha. Go see if Jungkookie is okay." With those words, Taehyung hung up the phone, even though Yoongi wanted to mention the title he'd given him just then.

He ignored it and threw his phone to the side of his bed before getting up and walking towards Jungkook's room— the pack shared a house for cheap bills, and plus, they like living together. So it was easy to just walk to Jungkook's room and knock lightly on the door.

But... there was such a dull scent seeping out from Jungkook's door. There was obviously something wrong with him, but Taehyung didn't explain a damn thing and so Yoongi was left confused.

"Jungkook-ah?" He knocked again.

There was no answer, so Yoongi simply sighed and opened the door, thinking Jungkook may be sleeping and still needed to be checked on, but as he opened the door, that dull scent became ten times stronger and due to instincts, his heart dropped and he frowned at the sight of Jungkook with his head under his pillow and laid out on his stomach.

"Are you awake? Be honest."

Jungkook's arm moved and soon, he was pulling the pillow off of his head and sitting up. He turned to face the door, to face Yoongi, and Yoongi's gut twisted at the sight; Jungkook's hair was an absolute mess, some stuck to his forehead with sweat, his nose and ears were red, and his eyes were puffy and wet from tears.

"I'm awake," the younger alpha mumbled.

Quickly, Yoongi went towards the bed and sat beside him, resting his hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "Jungkook-ah, why are you crying? What's wrong?" But as he spoke, Jungkook let out a sob and immediately brought his blanket up to his face to cover his cry.

"H-Hyung, why am I a poor excuse o-of an alpha?" He was hiccuping and could hardly speak. Yoongi's grip tightened at his question.

"You're an amazing alpha, Jungkookie, what're you talking about?"

Jungkook shook his head. "O-Omegas don't want me. You guys d-don't wanna be seen w-with me either." He took a deep breath and exhaled it as he pulled the blanket away from his face to look Yoongi in the eye. "I'm unworthy of mating. Nobody wants me."

Yoongi frowned as he tucked Jungkook's dark, growing locks behind his ear. He's a pretty crier- but now is not the time for thinking that.

"You're an amazing alpha, coming from an alpha himself," he reassured. "Look, Koo, you've done so many things for our pack. You're our little muscle bunny. You think the furniture magically appeared here? You moved those things in for us. You think our bills pay themselves? You work hard, Jungkook-ah. You're a handsome, funny, and such a caring alpha. Who told you otherwise?"

Jungkook exhaled again, sighing. "Myself."

"I find that hard to believe," Yoongi told him. "I think I may know who..." Jungkook quickly turned his head to him, confused as to how he figured it out. "Was it Ji Eunchan?" Jungkook's tears came in at full force again, letting out another cry at the name.

That fucker.

"H-How did you know that?" Jungkook asked.

"Well, the omegas went to Eunchan's party tonight." Jungkook's eyes widened. He seemed to not have known about the party. "Taehyungie said he's never talking to Eunchan again and I think I heard Jimin cursing about him in the background of our call. They said they're on their way home from the party."

Jungkook's head fell as he wiped away tears. "Hyung, will you hate me if I tell you something?" Yoongi shook his head. Jungkook knew that Yoongi would never hate him for anything. "E-Eunchan and I were secretly dating for a while." With that in mind, Yoongi's eyes widened. Jungkook was dating?! "But h-he broke up with me tonight. Told me I wasn't the alpha for him. He always hated the things I do..."

"Broke up with you? What an idiot— I mean- What things did he hate? Is he crazy?"

A light chuckle left Jungkook. "He hated my tattoos and piercings. He hated that I dropped out of school, because I wouldn't ever be able to take care of any future family. Always hated when I got a new tattoo or the fact that I'm 'hanging out with bad people'— but the people at the tattoo shop are genuinely nice! Just because we have a few drinks at the bar doesn't mean we're bad people. Ugh. I blame rumors and motorcycles for this."

Stereotypes.

Yoongi shook his head. "You're not a bad person or a bad alpha at all, Jungkookie—"

"Jungkookie!"

Taehyung's voice boomed through the room and suddenly the omega was in view, quick to rush onto Jungkook's bed and force his arms around the youngest alpha, hugging him to the bed as they fell back. Yoongi chuckled at his boyfriend, who was soon followed by Jimin and Seokjin, who joined them on the bed and started petting and hugging the grumbling alpha.

But Yoongi couldn't keep his eyes off of Taehyung and Jungkook, mostly. They were adorable, even with the given situation.

"I'll kick his ass," Jimin told him, oozing such anger in his scent.

"And I'm helping," both Seokjin and Taehyung said at the same time, making Jungkook lighten up a bit.

Jungkook's eyes met Yoongi's. "Hyung... Help."

With the softest smile on Yoongi's face, "Sorry. No can do. If the omegas say cuddles, then you're getting cuddles."

"Cuddles!" Taehyung cheered.

The youngest and his boyfriend were way too cute together like that. Yoongi's heart felt so warm, despite the reasoning for the cuddles and despite the circumstance. He wanted to comfort Jungkook as well, but he'd wait and let the omegas do it for now.

"Jungkook-ah, would you like for me to tell Namjoonie and Hoseok-ah what's going on so they won't be worried, or do you wanna do it yourself?"

Jungkook let himself be cuddled to death, struggling to answer, "I'll tell them. And... thank you, hyung."

Yoongi nodded. "Of course, little alpha."

-

It was so hard to explain everything to his pack as a whole. He'd told Yoongi, and the omegas knew enough— yet they still asked questions— so Jungkook ended up telling the entire pack as much as he needed to; that Eunchan was secretly his boyfriend and he had told Jungkook that he wasn't the right alpha for him, so he broke up with Jungkook.

But when he started to tell them just how badly Eunchan was thinking about him as a person, they started narrowing their eyes and cursing to themselves at the thought.

"You're an amazing alpha," Hoseok asserted, "and we love you for who you are. Your tattoos and everything, the art is so pretty, and your piercings fit you so well! You look so cool!"

"Cool, yes," Taehyung spoke up as well. "I couldn't pull it off, but you look so cool. I wish I could be you. I wish these stereotypes weren't a thing."

Jungkook had to brush them all off, including Namjoon, who was angrier than anyone. It was obvious that he was angry because he hadn't said a single word— Jungkook knew that it was because if he did speak, he'd probably end up speaking his mind to Ji Eunchan and his pack as well— so he simply didn't at all.

"You're an alpha we cherish, Jungkook-ah," was what he did say, and it made Jungkook's heart warm.

His pack does like him. They don't mind being seen with him. They love him for who he is. That felt amazing to finally hear. Maybe he should've told them to begin with.

"I'll order us some lamb skewers and Taehyungie and I will cuddle you tonight," Yoongi told him, "How's that?"

Jungkook's eyes widened at Yoongi, though. The alpha had never been someone who cuddles or one to like being so touchy. It was almost like a dream, hearing Yoongi mention cuddling at all. Usually, Jungkook would reject it, but this is Yoongi hyung.

"Um. Okay. Yeah, I'd like that."

Honestly, he would. Being cuddled by the couple seemed nice to think about. Taehyung always cuddles whoever and whenever, so it wasn't too unusual, but being in the middle of the couple kind of made Jungkook shudder as he thought about it.

He'd really like that.

Nighttime came quickly and Yoongi had ordered skewers for the three of them, so they ate dinner as they watched a movie on Jungkook's TV in his bedroom.

They laid down with Jungkook in the middle, Yoongi on his left and Taehyung on his right. A few times, the two would offer their skewer to Jungkook and let him take a vegetable or mostly meat off of it, letting him enjoy lots of food and enjoy their time together.

Food was easily the way to his heart.

"You guys don't have to comfort me so much, you know."

Taehyung huffed as he chewed his food. "It's not just us comforting you. We wanted to hang out with you for a while now anyways. You're my favorite alpha." Yoongi sat up and eyed his boyfriend, who giggled over at him. "Aside from you, of course."

Both Yoongi and Jungkook chuckled at him. He certainly was cute with that attitude of his.

"We can both be your favorite," Yoongi told him. "I mean, Jungkookie isn't too different from me. I can see where you're coming from." He smiled, merely pursing his lips at Jungkook. "You're probably my favorite alpha too, you know. Besides myself." His smile grew cheekier as he shoved some vegetable and meat into his mouth. Jungkook grinned right back at him.

He looked back at the movie they were watching, but his smile slowly faded away as he caught sight of the little baggie sitting next to his TV. It was the gift bag that held Eunchan's keychain, which also now held his own inside of it.

When Jungkook had gotten home after being broken up with, he'd thrown his keychain in the bag and then threw it onto his TV stand, all right before crawling into his bed and crying it out.

"Jungkookie?"

He blinked a few times as Taehyung waved his hand in front of him. "Oh. Yes? What?" he asked as he zoned back into the real world. The world where he's a single alpha now.

"What is that, that you're staring at?" the omega asked, curious. Jungkook stared blankly at the gift bag.

"Um. It was Eunie's— Eunchan's gift." He cleared his throat as the couple shared a glance across the bed, as if it wasn't noticeable to Jungkook. He didn't mind, though. "Don't worry about it. It's nothing. I'll probably take it back to the shop or something later."

But Taehyung scowled as he chomped down on his skewer. "Mhm." Jungkook could tell he wanted to say something bad about Eunchan. It was quite amusing, really, to see his pack all take up for him. He never realized how badly Eunchan was treating him until they sat him down and explained it to him.

"Jungkook-ah, why don't you sleep in our room tonight?" Yoongi asked, and the omega started choking on his food, gaining the attention of both alphas. "What? Is that a bad thing or something?"

Taehyung quickly raised his hand, waving it frantically to dismiss his choking. "N-No, no, it's just— I just didn't expect you to ask that or anything. I thought we were gonna cuddle Jungkookie in here."

"Yeah, but..." Yoongi shrugged. "It's whatever you two wanna do. I'll do anything for you guys."

Jungkook had to swallow back the warm sensation in his chest. It felt odd, especially with Yoongi saying such things towards him as well as Taehyung. Yoongi hadn't really spoken much like this unless it's to Taehyung and only some certain times towards the pack, but that's usually as a whole pack.

Was Jungkook getting special treatment because of his breakup? Is this what it took for Yoongi's affection? And Yoongi normally stays in his and Taehyung's shared bedroom or at school, so the fact that he was in Jungkook's room— the fact that he invited Jungkook into their room made him feel special anyway.

"You'd let me sleep in your room?" he asked the couple. "Can I?"

Taehyung's eyes lit up and he bit back his smile, but Yoongi gave Jungkook a warm smile and nodded, his eyes fluttering closed sweetly. "If you wanna, we'll definitely let you in. We want you to be comfortable." With his comforting smile, Yoongi once again tucked Jungkook's hair behind his ear. Taehyung then rested his head on Jungkook's shoulder and nuzzled against him.

"Well? We could cuddle like this all night," Taehyung told, clearly with a smile on his face as he wrapped his arm around Jungkook.

That was exactly how Jungkook ended up padding his feet into Taehyung and Yoongi's bedroom that night.

He wore his matching grey sweatpants and t-shirt, very cozy and nice and warm as he walked into their room, engulfed by the scent of them. The woodsy, manly scent of Yoongi and the sweet and delicate scent of Taehyung, like cotton candy— but comforting. Comforting cotton candy. Sweet and woodsy shouldn't go well together, but Taehyung and Yoongi do. They even smell like comfort.

"Get in the middle."

Jungkook obeyed the older alpha's words and climbed onto the bed, chewing at his lower lip as Taehyung was so quick to get beside him and pull the blanket over the two of them. He was so close. His scent was so good.

Yoongi came soon after he finished putting away some things and putting his phone on charge. He slid in beside Jungkook as well, and as soon as he did, Taehyung wrapped his arm around Jungkook's waist, to which Yoongi also followed by turning onto his side and facing Jungkook's body.

They're so close.

"You're warm," Yoongi muttered. He'd always been warm like this.

But he'd never been surrounded by the couples' scent before. Never like this, at least. "I'm warm because I'm being cuddled right now," he said, but Taehyung shook his head and began nosing Jungkook's ear, the younger feeling a weird sensation run throughout his body at the touch.

"You smell so good like this, though," the omega whispered into his ear. "Right in between us."

Jungkook shuddered. He wasn't sure what to say in response, so he merely let those words sink into his mind as he started dozing off. Right between us. He smelled good right between them. What did that even mean? Anything?

What could it possibly mean anyways?

The only thing Jungkook could think of was... Taehyung was saying that his scent smelled good with theirs, meaning he liked his scent mixed in, but why? What's so special about his scent? How could Taehyung be comfortable with an alpha other than his in their bed?

He sniffed a bit, being sensitive to smell as always, and Taehyung was right about one thing; his scent fit right in.

-

It had only been a few days since Eunchan broke up with Jungkook, but the alpha was alone in his room one evening and he couldn't stop his thoughts from overflowing so quickly.

He cried, though he didn't want to.

It just wasn't fair, how easily Eunchan could let him go with no thought about how his alpha would feel after such a devastating breakup. He broke Jungkook as if he was nothing to him.

But, like a wingless angel, one of the pack members knocked on Jungkook's door. His rescue.

He wiped away the fresh tears and told the knocker to come in. The wingless angel soon had a face, that face being such a gorgeous one— Kim Taehyung came walking in silently.

He didn't say anything the moment he read the room. Instead, he sat next to Jungkook on his bed and wrapped his arm around him. Slowly, he pulled Jungkook in by his jaw and made the alpha lay his head on his shoulder. Taehyung's scent was overly comforting and sweet, drowning out the dull scent Jungkook had been giving off.

His comforting hyung.

Soon, his tears stopped and it felt like something clicked in Jungkook's heart as he imagined Yoongi also being here to soothe him.

"Hyung?" he questioned, breaking their long silence. Taehyung hummed in return. "Where's Yoongi hyung? Why did you knock on my door?"

Again, Taehyung hummed as he picked up Jungkook's hand and pulled it to his lap. "He's cooking right now, for us." His finger trailed from Jungkook's hand tattoos and up his arm, like he was tracing the black tattoos inked into his skin.

That same clicking feeling in Jungkook's heart happened again, a warm sensation settling throughout his chest and body.

"Do you like my tattoos, hyung?"

Taehyung smiled as he wrapped his fingers around the alpha's wrist. "They're really pretty. They suit you so well."

Pretty. Suit him well.

The things he'd never been told by his own boyfriend before. The warm feeling he never truly felt with Eunchan. He feels it when he even thinks about Taehyung and Yoongi. They're just so kind to him and so special.

"Thank you, hyung." He started tracing the ink as well, grinning so wide as their fingers accidentally met and they fought over who got to trace the flower on his arm first.

"Are you two lovebirds ready to eat now?"

Jungkook flinched at Yoongi's sudden voice and he pulled himself off of Taehyung's shoulder, eyes widening as the sentence processed in his mind so slowly. Lovebirds. "We're coming! Thanks for the food!" Quickly, he split himself from Taehyung and went for the door, but Yoongi stopped him from fleeing.

"Have you been crying?"

The younger alpha's head fell. "I'm fine, hyung. Let's go eat."

Yoongi sighed, but after one glance at Taehyung, he let the younger through the door and to the kitchen. Jungkook was glad that Yoongi didn't question him any further. He was starving.

-

Jungkook was in big trouble.

Instead of playfully gagging over how overly obvious Namjoon and Seokjin were flirting, or instead of shaking his head at how painfully oblivious Jimin and Hoseok were being (crushing hard on each other), he found himself thinking too much about Taehyung and Yoongi to care about them lately.

Namjoon pinched Seokjin's cheek in plain sight and Jungkook was too busy overthinking to even joke about it! That's just so-not-him!

He kept thinking about the other two.

Whether he be at home, in his bed, in the kitchen, at work, at the grocery store, at the bar— Taehyung and Yoongi. He's such a mess, but he can't help it.

He went from being a mess worrying over his breakup to being a mess over that and thinking about the couple. Whatever he did in his past life to deserve such a heart, he had no idea, but the way he felt about Eunchan was so different from the way he had started feeling about Taehyung and Yoongi.

They'd comforted him so much and spent so much time with him. Bought him snacks and his favorite drinks, helped him finally get out of bed, visited him at work— which he stopped overdoing; work. Things went back to normal— except they didn't in the slightest.

Jungkook would be lying to say he didn't think differently about not only his pack, but them. He couldn't help but think that they were the perfect definition of what love should feel like, and not the way Eunchan had shown him before. They made Eunchan look like a pile of trash in comparison.

Their sweet pecks, holding hands playfully, sharing their food because they knew just what each other liked, and Jungkook had witnessed them scenting each other one day on accident—
besides that, the way they treat Jungkook is what really got him; the way they caress his skin so gently, the praises they give about his looks or about how good of an alpha he is, the way Yoongi tucks his hair behind his ear, the way Taehyung lets Jungkook drown in his loving scent, and the way they babied him out of his worries.

Is it what love should feel like? There, with them?

Jungkook sighed to himself as he nibbled on the tangerine he had peeled while overthinking so much— Yoongi had given it to him that morning and he was sitting on the living room floor, determined to eat it.

"What're you sighing for?" It was Taehyung who magically appeared from around the corner, and his scent was so sweet that Jungkook shuddered. It's too damn good. "Can I have a bite?" the omega asked as he sat on the couch behind Jungkook, with his legs split on both sides of the alpha.

He pulled a slice of tangerine off and held it up to Taehyung, who opened his mouth and let Jungkook feed him. Taehyung hummed in delight as he fell back onto the couch, eating away. Of course, Jungkook smiled as he turned back to his original position.

"You two sure look cozy lately," Namjoon told them. He was across the room at his desk, studying and reading away.

"We are," Taehyung admitted through his chews, "Jungkookie likes hanging out with me, right?" He leaned down to Jungkook's shoulder and rested his chin there, the alpha's cheeks heating at how close he was. Damn him.

"Look at him," Hoseok also spoke up. He and Jimin were sitting on the other couch where they were watching TV with Jungkook. Yoongi and Seokjin were out fishing, but they'd be back soon to bring in some dinner. "Jungkookie looks so flustered. What'd you do to him?"

Taehyung nuzzled into Jungkook's neck, dismissing Hoseok's words. "You flustered, Koo?" he whispered as he nosed against Jungkook's neck. A damn dream, it felt like. Of course, he was flustered! But a sudden knock on the door made Taehyung pull away and as Jungkook was about to get up to go open the door, Taehyung held him down on the floor. "I'll get the door."

"But—"

"You can get it next time," Taehyung told him, a cheeky smile on his face because they both knew there wouldn't be a next time. Still, Taehyung got up and went to the door, letting Yoongi and Seokjin inside. "Did you guys have fun?" he asked Yoongi, and the two nodded in response.

"Catch anything?" Hoseok asked as he stood up as well, observing the fishless men.

Seokjin sighed out in frustration. "I caught one, but we let it go. It was a pregnant fish, and I'm not a monster. The sea needs their mother fishies too." The three of them made their way to the living room. "Are you guys watching a movie or something? You're all piled up in here together?"

"We're just chilling," Namjoon said, "doing our own things" He turned around to look Seokjin in the eye, smiling with his soft dimples. "Good job, letting the fish go. But did you bring back food?"

"Ah." Seokjin crossed his arms. He had no bags of food in his hand, but Yoongi did. "All you want is food from me."

Yoongi dropped the two big plastic bags on the kitchen counter and like moths to a flame, the pack rushed for the food— excluding Jungkook, who had only just finished his tangerine. He decided to wait behind the others to let them get their plates first.

However, there was another knock on the door.

The boys looked at each other, confused, and their scents all merged into one big pile of confusion. Jungkook chuckled, then made his way to the door to open it— next time!

He opened the door, but not without the others peeking around to see who was knocking in the late evening like so. But as he caught a whiff of that sweet, chocolatey scent, and he came face to face with Ji Eunchan, Jungkook's stomach dropped, losing all appetite, and his heart which had been healing was suddenly grabbed and squeezed hard.

"E-Eunchan?"

One of Eunchan's mistakes was stepping into the door.

"Hi, Jungkookie—"

"Who the hell does he think he is, inviting himself in like that?" he could hear Jimin from behind.

"This fucking guy." Taehyung's voice.

Jungkook held tight onto the door as Eunchan's head dropped. "Why are you here?" he asked, and the omega stepped closer to him.

"Can we talk alone?"

"Like hell, I'll allow that," Namjoon spoke up, loud and clear. Suddenly, he was coming forward. "Whatever you have to say to Jungkook, you'll be talking to me first. You have no business speaking to Jungkook alone. Say it to the pack, or don't say it at all."

Eunchan's scent smelt burnt, like burnt sugar. He placed his hands over each other in front of him and he bowed to the pack. "I'm sorry. I know you guys must hate me for making Jungkook keep our relationship a secret." He glanced through the pack, gulping as he realized they were all there. Jungkook never felt better, knowing Eunchan stood no ground here. "I- I just wanted to talk to Jungkook and apologize. I... really want him back." He looked up at Jungkook with his last words.

Taehyung's eyes widened as he looked back from Jungkook to Eunchan. "Want him back? Y-You can't just do that, right Jungkookie?"

"Right," it was Hoseok's turn to speak, "Tell them why you're really here, Eunchan. Tell them you were rejected and tell them you think Jungkook will take you back even though nobody else wants you."

The pack gawked at Hoseok. "Huh..?" Seokjin hummed, as confused as the rest of them. Jungkook was the most confused, though. He had no idea what the alpha was talking about, but...

"Fine," Eunchan sighed. "I was rejected by another alpha, yes." His eyes were set on Hoseok. "But I don't—"

"Hoseokie hyung?" Jungkook questioned. Eunchan turned back to him, giving his best puppy-dog eyes, but Jungkook simply kept his gaze on Hoseok, who was soon wrapped into Jimin's very protective arms.

"Jungkookie, you know I love you, don't you?"

No.

"All of our dates, all the times we kissed, all the times at our secret spot." Eunchan took another step forward and reached for Jungkook's hand. He let the omega hold his hand, but he still didn't look at Eunchan. He looked at Yoongi, and he looked at Taehyung. They looked upset too. "Jungkookie, we were together for months. We can work it out, can't we? We can work on you and—"

"That's it—" Yoongi.

"You son of a bitch," Taehyung cut him off, loud and clear. "Our Jungkookie doesn't need working on." His eyes were sharp, like they were cutting into Eunchan with every word, and his scent spiked. "He doesn't need someone like you in his life. He's perfectly fine, here with us only."

Yoongi wrapped his hand around Taehyung's wrist and slid it down to his palm, intertwining their fingers. "Jungkook-ah, you're not... thinking about being with him again, right? He's a prick." Yoongi spoke as if Eunchan wasn't right beside him. Jungkook wanted to laugh, but Eunchan held tighter onto his hand and tugged at it.

"Baby, please."

A low growl came from Yoongi's direction and all eyes were on him as Eunchan cowered into Jungkook's arms— no, Jungkook didn't hold him to protect him, he simply let Eunchan try to cower from the alpha who seemingly didn't like the pet name.

Jungkook loved that protective look and the growl in his throat. A lot.

"J-Jungkook loves me," the omega stuttered. "He's my boyfriend. He always will be. Right, baby? I can't be without you. I miss you."

Jungkook wanted to scoff. "I–"

"He's not going with you," Taehyung stated, holding tighter onto Yoongi's hand. The pack was silent, now including Jungkook who was in shock more than anyone. "I don't care how much you try and talk him into being with you again, H-He's not your alpha. He belongs... here."

Yoongi nodded. "He does. Jungkookie, you belong here with us. Not him, okay?" His frown was easily depicted. He's worried. "Come be with us. We'll treat you better than he ever has."

"Yeah!" Taehyung was quick to say. "We love you so much. Please."

Yoongi nudged his boyfriend in the side. "Tae..."

It was such a mess. Such a mess that Jungkook almost wanted to laugh. Taehyung and Yoongi were trying their damndest to tell Jungkook that he didn't belong with Eunchan, but with them, and he knew that already. They didn't have to try and convince him of anything.

"So," Jungkook eventually spoke up once he saw tears welling up in Taehyung's eyes, "you guys want me to be with you instead of Eunchan?" The tears fell from Taehyung's eyes and he quickly wiped them away. "Hyung, don't cry. Why are you crying?"

Yoongi wrapped his arms around Taehyung's waist and held him close. "We don't want you to be uncomfortable, Kook-ah."

"That's not what I asked."

The older alpha gripped tight onto Taehyung's clothes. It was obvious that he was nervous, but trying to be strong. Jungkook felt sort of bad, seeing them in this way. He didn't even care about Eunchan's grip on his own hand. He only cared about the couple in front of him. They're so caring.

"We don't wanna lose you," Yoongi mumbled. "We wanted to try and talk to you about it, but then we found out you were secretly dating and... He's crying because he's scared you won't accept us. Scared we'll lose you..."

That was all he really needed.

Jungkook pulled his hand away from Eunchan's hold and left the scoffing omega standing alone in the doorway as he made his way to Taehyung and Yoongi, throwing his arms around both of their shoulders and pulling them into a tight hug. "You guys," he let out, voice dry and nearly too broken. "Don't cry, hyung." Taehyung hugged him so right and Yoongi held on as well. "I'm not leaving you. Don't be scared."

"What the hell, babe?" Eunchan whined from behind them.

He held even tighter onto the couple.

"Get out," Namjoon's voice boomed from somewhere nearby. "Get out of my house and never come back. Never contact Jungkook again."

Though his words couldn't form well right now, that's exactly what Jungkook wanted and needed to say. He wanted Eunchan to leave. He knew from the moment he saw Eunchan in the door that he wouldn't let him back into his life. He didn't need Eunchan anymore— did he ever?

"Babes, you guys should go to your room and talk," Jimin told the three who were still hugging. "You need privacy, I assume."

"Yeah, I feel like I'm seeing too much here," Seokjin chuckled.

"It's so beautiful." Hoseok sniffled from beside them. Jungkook finally pulled away from the hug and wiped the tears from Taehyung's face. He didn't mean to make such a mess of things, but he was so happy, knowing Taehyung and Yoongi wanted him so much.

With one last wipe at Taehyung's wet cheek and a reassuring look to Yoongi, Jungkook nodded towards his bedroom. "Can we go talk?" Taehyung weakly nodded and Yoongi patted his head lovingly.

"Let's go."

As they started to go, Jungkook noticed that Eunchan was still at the door, trying to reason with Namjoon, who clenched his jaw and began pushing him out. "Wait!" Jungkook told them, which caught Namjoon and Eunchan's attention, along with the others. Eunchan had a hopeful look in his eyes as Jungkook looked at him. "Eunchanie."

"Alpha, baby, tell him to let me talk to you—"

"I'm not your alpha," he cut him off, shrugging as Eunchan's eyes widened. "Sorry it had to be this way." He used the omega's words right back at him and it felt damn good. Eunchan tried to talk to him, but Jungkook ignored it and pulled his two hyungs towards his bedroom, smiling away. He hoped Eunchan would have a great life, just not a life with him in it anymore.

They were over.

"He deserved that," Yoongi let out as the door to the bedroom was shut and Taehyung plopped down onto Jungkook's bed.

"He deserved more."

Jungkook chuckled at them. The couple sat side-by-side, looking as if they'd just gotten scolded or something. "You guys, why do you look so sad? Taehyungie hyung, smile please." Taehyung forced his lips to curve up into a smile. "See? Pretty smile."

"Jungkook-ah!" Taehyung whined. "I'm scared you'll hate us or something. I can't just stop my emotions."

A frown fell on Jungkook's face now and his scent dulled, making the two scrunch their noses. "Why would I hate you guys?" At the question, Yoongi slowly rested his face in the palms of his hands.

"Kook-ah, we want you to join our relationship."

"I know," he said, clear enough for the couple to look up at him in surprise. He was standing in front of them, looking down at the two who looked like scolded pups. "I know, so why're you sad about it? Isn't that a good thing?"

Taehyung's mouth fell open. "I-It is? I mean— You don't hate us?"

Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows at them. "Are you kidding?" He scoffed. How could he ever hate them? "You two were there for me, you always have been, too. I never thought you'd want me like this. I never thought I'd end up thinking about being with you guys so much, but I have. Trust me, I have."

"You have?" Yoongi asked, his voice light, like he was relieved.

With the thought of Yoongi being relieved and as Taehyung's head fell on his alpha's shoulder, Jungkook also felt relieved. Seeing Taehyung resting so tiredly on Yoongi, he wanted so badly to let them know how much he meant his words: he's thought so much about being with them lately.

And so, he stepped up and leaned over to Taehyung, then pressed a peck to the omega's forehead. Taehyung's eyes fell shut and he had the biggest smile as Jungkook pulled away. After that, he eyed Yoongi, who looked up at him through his lashes, waiting for his turn.

He leaned into Yoongi as well, but Yoongi cupped Jungkook's cheeks and pulled him to his lips, and Jungkook leaned in without question, taking ahold of Yoongi's sweater and pulling him in— their lips melted into each other and Yoongi's scent drowned out anything else. His lips were perfect, like home, and—

"Hey! You promised I'd get the first kiss!" Taehyung argued as he pulled away from Yoongi's shoulder and playfully nudged at the alpha's arm.

Yoongi smiled into the kiss and so did Jungkook. They pulled away and smiled at each other in pure joy, but it wasn't long before Taehyung was opening his arms and pouting up at Jungkook, cute as he puckered his lips.

"Hyung, you'll get to kiss me anytime now," he cackled, but he still leaned in and let Taehyung pull him into his lips. The omega was much needier, placing multiple pecks on Jungkook's lips and holding so tight onto the alpha's arms as if to never let him go.

"Can we scent you, Koo?"

Taehyung gasped as he pulled away from Jungkook's lips. "Yeah! Can we? Can we scent you? I've been dying to for forever now. Please?"

Jungkook chuckled at them. He'd be lying if he said he hadn't wanted their scent on him. Every time he'd end up in their bed and they cuddled, he'd wake up to their scent and it would stick to his pajamas; he loved it too much.

So, he crawled onto his bed and sat right in the middle of it, crossing his legs. "Scent me." And with those words, the two were so quick to sit next to him and dig their faces into both sides of his neck, rubbing all over his scent gland as he giggled. Woodsy, sweet— home. God, it was like home engulfing him.

Jungkook was in heaven, with the two scenting him and often placing little pecks on his skin as well. At some point, Taehyung even started purring, which made the two alphas hum in content.
Jungkook brushed his head against Taehyung's and let the omega purr away. He let the comfort wash away any pain he'd gone through recently. He let Taehyung and Yoongi take care of him.

It's what he really needed all along; this.

This is what love is all about. This is what he was supposed to feel with Eunchan that he never got. This is what people in the books and movies feel when they talk about love. This is what parents hope their children feel when they find their lover someday, and it's what every relationship is supposed to consist of; love.

Just pure love.

Jungkook never wanted it to end.
