This pattern is so easy! It's the first thing I crocheted and it was so fun to make!

Materials
1 ball of bulky yarn (5)
7 mm hook
Scissors
Darning needle

Make a slip knot and then chain 41

Row 1: in second chain from the hook work one sc, repeat till end of the row, turn your work

Row 2: chain one, working only in the back loops of your single crochet's, work one sc keep working one sc in back loops till the end of your row, turn your work

Keep working row two till your work is about 16 inches, when your work is big enough finish off and leave a long tail, weave your tail through the side of your work and pull it tight, then line up the edges of your work and sow up the side of your work, then fold up the rim of your work and sow the rim in place (optional), then make your Pom-Pom and sow it to the top of your hat (optional) 

Bravo now you have your crocheted beanie!
