A young child with curly brown hair ran around rather happily in the deep grass behind Bag End. It was dusk , late evening the sun having already been set. And most small Hobbits would be tucked snugly in their beds.

But not Bilbo Baggins, in fact he was out looking for Glowflies and Elves as he so told his mother. Who watched him dutifully with a smile from the porch. "Ma, I caught one." He told her eagerly. His small hands folded gently together with something inside as he ran up to her.

"An Elf?" Belladonna questioned with a slight raised eyebrow, a grin playing at her lips. "No." Her son giggled in reply as he showed her the small bug in his hands. "A firefly." She nodded, a smile still on her face as she looked at what was inside his clasped fists. "A pretty bright one too," His mother said. "If you'd like I can get a jar and we'll make a lantern of it."

Bilbo nodded. "Please." He says in reply, making sure the glow worm in his hand didn't escape while she went inside to get a clear, glass jar. Bringing it back to him as they put the firefly inside. "Having an adventure again are we?" Bungo asks gently with a smile as he wraps his arms around his wife's waist.

"Aye," Belladonna replied, kissing her husband's cheek as they watch their son go off to catch more of the glowing, flying bugs. Jar in hand. "Fireflies this time." She told him. He nodded. "No Elves this time like the ones you saw long ago?"

She smiled. "No, but I have a feeling he'll get his wish to see them someday. He is an adventurous child after all." "That he may, that he may." He agreed with a smile in return as a rather sleepy Bilbo soon came back , trailing sticks and bits of glowing things behind him. Ready to be tucked in as dreams of adventure already stirred in his head.

This being many of the short 'journeys' that would lead to a bigger one in the future up ahead. But if he chose to go, would be up for him to decide. For now, he just wanted his pillow and to be tucked in his warm bed. And dream pleasant dreams.
