"Come on! It's the perfect role for you!"

"Fine! I'll audition!"

Laurence, my agent, had been pestering me to audition for a stupid movie.

I got to the building where the auditions were taking place, and walked through the doors.

"Ahh, Miss. Blackwood, welcome. Glad to know you're interested. Just read from the script how you see the character being"

I nodded and took a deep breath.

"Don't take one more step, if you do...you'll.... You'll...." I broke down into tears "you'll die Jason! Don't die for me! Cause you'll just die in vain!" I screamed and fell to my knees. "Go....save yourself" a broken whisper escaped my lips.

I heard a slow clap. I turned my head to see my enemy walking in.

"I'm touched Katelyn, truly touched" he wiped away a fake tear. I rolled my eyes and stood up, dusting off my knees.

"Mr. North!"

They rushed to cater to his every need, it made me roll my eyes.

"Oh great! Now you two can act together to see how it would go!"

I could feel my face go pale.

Travis and I were like DC and Marvel. Me being Marvel of course. We both had our fans, and our place in this world. We never worked together.

Travis smirked at me.

Ugh, I wish I could punch you in the face so hard....

"Here's some scripts, Travis you'll be Jason, Katelyn you'll be Maria, like you were just now. Okay, and....action!"

"Maria..." Travis suddenly became serious, taking my hands into his. His gaze Stern and serious. "Tell me what that was"

"Jason....I...." My voice barely above a whisper, "I don't know if I should tell you" I lowered my head. Travis took my chin and gently made me look into his eyes.

"Tell me"

I snatched my hands from his and pushed him away from me.

"Don't you get it?! I'm a freak, a demon. I'm a monster"

"And do you think I give a da-"

"I don't care what you think or what you think I think! I can't risk another person getting hurt because of me Jason!"

"Maria I love you, I love you darn it! And I'm not going to give up on you because of one minor flaw"

His words seemed to....do something....more than acting.

"It's not just one minor flaw I turn into a monster! I could kill you!"

"And I don't care, I'm here for you"

"Brilliant!" The director applauded, stopping our acting, "we will call you if there are any plans, but until then, you got the part!"

"Which one of us?" I asked after sighing

"Both of you!"

"W-what?!"

"Is there a problem Miss. Blackwood?"

I gritted my teeth.

"Not. At. All."

I left the building, trying not to kill everyone and everything in sight.

"Hey Katy"

"I told you not to call me that!" I barked at Travis who followed close behind me.

"Don't be catty, listen Katy, don't go falling for me while we film this-"

"In your dreams. I'm only doing this because ts a promising movie and I'd be an idiot to give up the chance to be in it!"

I stomped over to my car and opened the door.

"You know deep down you love me"

"You know....maybe under all the hatred and pent up anger and frustration I have towards you is.....even more hatred and anger and pent up frustration"

I sat in my car and put on my sunglasses, driving away to my house.

I got home and my puppy immediately jumped at me.

I say puppy, but really she's a fully grown pitbull. I named her Angel because that's what she is.

"Hi baby" I cooed to her

"Hi honey"

I darted my gaze to the familiar voice and screamed.

Aphmau stood there, hands on hips. I jumped into her arms and we fell to the floor laughing.

"Aph!!!! What're you doing here?!" I giggled.

"I was in town and knew I had to see you!"

"You have to tell me all about your trip! How was England?"

"Amazing! I met so many people!"

"Any cute boys?" I elbowed her and she just laughed.

"Maaaaybeee"

"Spillllllll"

"Not now! Let's talk about you! Any new movies?"

"Well...I just got back from an audition for a new one, it seems like a very promising one too. They gave me a lead role almost immediately, the only downside is Travis is my love interest"

"Travis North?"

"That's the one"

"I ship it"

"Shut up, no you don't"

Aphmau started chasing me around my house singing 'the heart wants what it wants'

"SHUUUUT UUUUP" I yelled holding my hands on my ears. Aphmau laughed and tackled me.

"I don't see why you hate him so much"

"It's. Travis."

"But you two are so cute together!!!!"

"Yeah, I'm as cute with Travis as you are with Aaron"

"Okay, no. Gross"

"That's why I said it, you and Aaron would be terrible together. Just like Travis and I"

"There's no sexual tension between Aaron and I, unlike you and Travis"

"Oh please, there's no sexual tension" I rolled my eyes and pushed Aphmau off me.

"Puh-lease, girl, there's so much sexual tension you could cut it with a knife" she sassily flipped her hair and snapped her fingers.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed some pizza from the fridge. I heated it quickly in the microwave and plopped onto the couch.

"There's nothing between Travis and I, and there never will be"

"Wait until you guys have to kiss" she wiggled her eyebrows at me and I just rolled my eyes again.

"Whatever, tell me about cute English boys"

"Katelyn!"

"What?"

"There were plenty of cute boys, but I was there on business"

"Yeah yeah yeah, c'mon let's have a Netflix date"

Aphmau giggled and nodded. I turned on Netflix and our date commenced.
