Malfoy didn't understand why I was so angry with him the next morning and of course I couldn't tell him, so I just gave him the silent treatment.

"Granger! What did I do? I'm sorry I got caught? Is that it? Everything will be alright." He was screaming for my attention. I just walked a little faster down the hallway towards Defense Against the Dark Arts. Ginny was a great teacher and sometimes she wrote to Harry for lesson ideas. Last night I owled Ginny about what happened so I have a feeling she'll be extra hard on Malfoy.

"Granger if you don't come back here right now and tell me what's wrong I'll throw your bag out the window." Malfoy interrupted my thoughts. I stopped short and waited for him to catch up with me again.

"Well, that's not really fair considering you won't let me carry my own bag Malfoy."

"Well — uh uh —," Malfoy, as it usually was lately, was lost for a response. I reached over and grabbed my bag back from him and then ran the rest of the way to class. I sat down in my usual front and center spot and looked up at Ginny. She winked at me. A few seconds later, Malfoy entered the room and sat down next to me as usual. The second he opened his mouth to speak Ginny started speaking.

"Good Morning class, today in Defense Against the Dark Arts we are going to work on —" at that moment the door slammed open. I turned around and saw my worst nightmare. Some students actually fell out of their chairs. I looked back at Ginny. She had completely forgotten where she was going and what she was doing. McGonagall ran in behind the newcomer.

"I'm so sorry for disturbing your class Professor Weasley, but could you come with me? I'm sure you're class will be ok on their own for one day."

"Uh —yes? Of course. Professor." She looked so confused as she started to stand up.

"Don't worry you'll be back before the end of class. We just need to have an emergency staff meeting. Now!" She glances around with a worried look on her face. Our 'guest' has left the room.

"Uh ok," Ginny thinks hard for a second. Then her eyes fall on Malfoy and a smile rises. "You are to work on your patronuses again. Anyone who can't do it by the end of class looses 50 points from their house." McGonagalls face has a small smile now etched into it while Malfoy's face contorts in horror, but before he can say anything Ginny has left the classroom. The rest of the class just stares in silence.

"Well what are you waiting for?" I shout to the class, "You heard the woman. Practice your patronuses!" The class finally jumps into action. Malfoy doesn't even bother to lift his wand.

"How'd it go?" I ask Ginny in the common room many hours later. Malfoy failed at his patronus as usual, as well as a few other people, mostly Slytherins so now they were in last place for house points.

"Oh it was horrible. Hermione, you need to be careful! But that's not important right now. If there's one thing I know for certain it's we need to get the DA back together."

"Ok. But why is that Ginny?"A solemn look fell on her beautiful face.

"Because Dolores Umbridge is back at Hogwarts."
