Total Nonsense
Prompt: Write a poem about math. - 3 points (3 point bonus for using all numbers from 1-10)
Math in school was my bugbear
There was just so much, it wasn't fair
Arithmetic I understood - it was the only one
Unlike real branches overhead, the others were no fun
How did they know A + B = C?
Maybe they equalled two or three
Sure didn't make sense to me
Neither did trig or geometry,
And calculus? I mean, what four*
Another branch? How many more?
Five, six, seven, eight?
No wonder it was a subject I grew to hate
The one day I'd had enough
I shouted nein!* And showed my stuff
With an example I'd prepared
On the board I wrote, Pi-r-squared
Then turned and smugly looked around
Counted to ten and did expound
Pi-aren't squared, Pi are round!
