My journey: Politics

In my two sides of my family are very political, and well, when you're a child, usually you're not aware of what was happening to understand the many differences both sides of your family have.
I been always aware on things like people having struggles. I didn't called myself political since I didn't knew that by caring about human issues will be a political issue. All I knew was there's blue and red, and each might disagree but still respect each other.
I think my political journey started in 2015, which I believe most people around that time were getting more politically aware. Anyway, let's beginning :
So in 2015-2017 I was pretty liberal, I didn't like Trump and i cared about issues like BLM, feminism, lgbtq right(I was still figuring my sexuality), and more. However, I will say that I was triggered 24/7 & I was constantly fighting with my father about certain things especially brown and black people issues.
In mid-2017-2019, I radically change my views to lean more conservative. If you're in any political community you are probably aware of Candace Owens, Steven Crowder, Ben Shapiro, Tim Pool, Sargon of Akkad, etcetera. So I started watching Blair White, and let's say that even though she isn't the same as Ben Shapiro, she's well know about her strong political views. Especially when you're aware that she's conservative and transgender, at the time, I could fathom the idea of a transgender person could've had those ideas. It made sense, whatever she was saying I thought it was like finding the truth or getting my eyes open. I progress from Blair White to Steven Crowder or Candace Owens. I wanted become like them. Especially Candace, I truly thought how could I be racist if I'm supporting her, or other conservatives who happened to be Black or Hispanic. It baffled me the idea of being wrong or racist, if the people I support are minorities. I can say that I was going downhill to become more close minded, and become angry at things, it was all about facts because feelings don't matter. Yes, I supported Trump (not because of who he is, but the policies he was holding at the time made sense). It sounds crazy, but if you grow up in a household where your family is pretty conservative you seek validation and my father and I were getting along on things.
Fast forward to mid-2019, I watched the documentary When They See Us, as I was doing my research, I couldn't hold it. I cannot and will not support somebody who wishes death penalty to 5 innocent children.
People will say how hypocritical of you since you're against Leaving Neverland. Well there's a difference, When They See Us aka the Central Park 5 case, people can go and look at the article the Trump paid for, so it could've been published. Besides, in the documentary it wasn't biased to one side or never presented information that was modified. People can go and look for the data and the tapes the police made so they could get these kids in jail. While in LN it's a four-hour documentary, full of biased anecdotes, and after it was released people could catch so many things that weren't accurate or not even true. Regardless of what you think if MJ did it or not(In which I don't), Leaving Neverland isn't a good source at all.
But that's besides the point.
After that, it gave me a sour taste all these people like Candace Owens justifying Trump for what he did, it was a reality check of these people. Also the whole TPUSA thing that happened with Nick F*****, I didn't knew who he was, but I thought that conservatives censorship were a thing and I really didn't see why they were being hypocritical by censoring this guy. As I done my research of all the things I was believing, I decide to take a break from politics (it was short lol) but it  helped me to take out anything that was believing at the time.
To late-2019, I started to be more open into the the things I used to believe with also be critical on it. I didn't want to go back to that place that I lost things around the way, and I'm glad I discovered channels like Vaush and Shoe0nhead that made realize my wrongs. I went back to my old ways, however, I will say that I'm more conscious of people that I follow, and the politics that are promoting. For instance, people think Candace Owens or Lauren Chen aren't able to be racist or fascist. When Candace belittled black people , just a few days ago she justified the dead of Ahmaud Arbery. And Lauren Chen, she invited a Nazi(Richard Spencer)to her channel and never challenged any of his views.
As for now my believes are definitely leftist, I do believe in feminism, lgbt 🏳️‍🌈 rights, human rights, I'm pro choice, I don't like wars, etcetera. And I'm way happier. I feel deliberated, I started to become more open minded. I accepted myself of who I truly. At this point i don't care if I agree with my family or not, because at the end of the day is better to do what I like.
I will link one video that it explains what i was through, and it really puts things in into perspectives. (It's in the front page)

That's my journey, whether people agree or disagree, I found myself in a better place.
I had found people that relate to me and we share similar views.
Hope you like it!
