This trip wasn't just
Me following a passion
But it was also a celebration
20 years of diving

My very first time scuba diving
Was in July 1999
When I was only 15 years old
In Eilat, Israel on the Red Sea

With that instructor
Who took me by the scruff of the neck
And into a tunnel, tube
Made entirely of coral

That was it!
I was hooked, look at me now!
By the end of this trip
I will have 52 logged dives

Went down to a
Depth of 104 feet
I just feel more comfortable
There then in the shallows

It brings me back in to
My first life
When I stare into that
Blue abyss of nothingness
Thousands of feet deep

It's an epic achievement
I hope that within the next few years
I can reach 100 dives
Get my wreck certification
And even go for the deep diver cert

I am a proud, blessed, thrilled
Scuba diver
I look forward to the next
20 years of bubbles
