Been a scuba diver since age 15
It's living in a different world
For an hour, maybe 4 or 5 times
A day for a week

Though always interesting
The sorts of life one may find
In the depths of the abyss
Things don't always turn out as you wish

This week very much reminded that
Scuba diving with M.E.
Can render one drained
Especially when the dive boat itself
Has to be chased

Breathing fast, swimming for your life
To grab the rope and hang on in the waves
As they whip you around like a rag doll
One of a kind experience and
One you need a few hours to recover from

But will it stop me?
Nope.
I'll be tired but I won't complain
Never do
Because I know my body
Will just need
A bit of a time out

I will just recover slower
Then other people
And that's perfectly fine
I'll be back on the horse
The next day
