Animalia is a planet large enough to match up with Jupiter. It has a population of >.5 trillion. Animalia is a place of mystery, as it can sustain damage that would easily destroy any other planet, but shrug it off over many years. The most common scientifically accepted explanation is that the unnaturally high gravity well has enough strength to pull itself together even when it loses most of its mass. Though this is considered a weak theory.
The real explanation is that it is, in fact, a super natural, semi sentient world that refuses to die. It has had several "Rebirth" periods where it has been destroyed and built back together good as new, given it a rather extensive timeline, much, much longer than Earth's, spanning billions of years.
Animalia is nearly an exact replica of Earth but with different names for the various individual countries, but has some new features such as new continents and new areas in general, new variations of common Earth languages, its own language entirely, different history, and its aforementioned super-natural aspect. Its heavy resemblance has been altered, however, as it is a war dominated planet, scarring its surface permanently with craters and lava cracks visible from space. War is constantly waging, so much so that laws that we have on Earth, like no mercenaries or no hired hit men, are nonexistent, so the mercenary and private military business is currently the most profitable business available.
Physics and technology are also different. Space travel was created long before we even thought about it. The technology grew more complex, and people can now travel to space often. The speed of light has been attained and interplanetary travel(and war) is abundant.

Population: Animalia is populated by "furries" and kemonomimi characters. Boys and men always look like your typical furry: anthropomorphic animals. Their legs, not their species, are an equal split between plantigrade and digitigrade. Females are normally more human, having only the ears, tail, and markings of their respective species. "Furry type" females are possible, but not common. Men and women, are both generally idealized, men normally having muscular, but lean, bodies while women typically have a toned, hourglass figure. Both sexes are equally tall compared to humans, given the Animalian measurement system is considerably upscaled from ours. Because of this, humans are dwarfed by Animalians, mainly males. The two dominating genomes on Animalia are mammals and avians, with sharks and reptilians following close behind.
Animalian internal biology is similar, if not identical to humans minus the animal features. A difference between the two is that Animalians lack toes, their feet looking as if they were constantly wearing a thick sock. Also, they lack nails or claws of any kind, seeing as their teeth and strong jaw are sufficient enough for quick protection.
The most uncommon species to see "Animalianized" are food animals such as fish(sharks not included), bovines, foul, etc.. "Horse people" are also uncommon, and almost exclusively found in the military due to their strength.

Pets were rare as they used to not have the normal cats and dogs we know of. Instead, their "pet" animals are rather...voracious creatures that go by many names.
