" Billu "

Shivaay and Annika saw someone stand at the door, with hands placed on hips, and face showing anger and authority.

Shivaay's eyes twinkled seeing Anshi. He immediately rushed towards her but stopped in between as Anshi signalled him by showing her hand.

" I have not come here to meet you billu. I am here to meet you "
She said while pointing her hand towards Annika.

She walked towards Annika and sat besides her. Annika was in love with the little kid the moment she saw her, it was like her own childhood came back to her.

Shivaay stood near the door surprised, or rather shocked. His Anshi ignored him. Not only that, He was also anxious about Anshi meeting Annika. Anshi was really special to him, so he wished Anshi liked Annika. Moreover, he knew how protective Anshi was for him and he also knew Annika was going to get interogated.

" Billu, why are you still standing there. Go out "
Anshi ordered and shivaay followed, not before showing a best of luck sign to Annika. Annika looked at him confused.

" So Ms. Billi"

"My name is Annika. What's your name dear?" Annika corrected.

" No , you aren't Annika, you are billi .
Billu's partner is Billi like chuhaa's partner is chuhi "
Annika blushed at the mention of her as shivaay's partner.

" You love my billu right?
Annika was taken aback by this sudden question.

"Umm..I...he..he is special to me ..mmm"

" My name is Anshi and I know everything so you don't need to hide it. You can call me Anu once I accept you as my Billi . But before that I need to know how much do you love my billu? "

"How much do I love him?  So much that I can't see a single tear in his eyes.  I will do everything to make him smile. I will protect him from every darkness and fear. He is the reason of my existence"
Annika said as tears formed in her eyes .

Anshi saw this and immediately jumped over Annika. A smile formed on Annika's face in between the tears . She enclosed anshi in between her arms tightly.

" You are my Billi." Anshi said as she kissed Annika's forehead.

With that soft kiss Annika felt as if she was embracing her own childhood. Her broked dreams, unsaid emotions were all coming back and unlike older times ,she was ready to feel them. She was ready to love life again with all those emotions. She was ready to expect, love, fail and have desires even though it may be unfulfilled .
She chose new experiences over fears of past . For once she didn't want to plan her life out, she wanted to live the moments as they come.

Shivaay's love had already given her the strength to move forward from her past dissapointments. He had made her realise that she was capable of feeling emotions . She was capable to give and recieve love. She just needed one sign to start afresh, anshi was the physical manifestation of her image of her own little self . She wanted to be like her , like a child , who can move forward without the burdens of past, who can take life as it comes.

She was lost in her thoughts when she heard Anshi say
" I will protect you too my Billi, like I protect billu."

Breaking the hug, Annika cupped anshi's face.
" No, I will protect you and your billu from everything. That's my promise"

Shivaay who was watching everything from outside had tears in his eyes seeing the most important people of his life being so happy with each other.
He felt someone keep a hand on his shoulder.

His mind immediately signalled him to go for a flight response .
( In fear, people usually give fight or flight response. Flight response means running away)
But he chose, he chose to move forward and not let the ropes of past tie him. He chose to trust Annika's words and walk towards light. Taking a deep breath, he didn't let his body show fear responses.

He turned around to see Mishra standing there.
Both of them went inside the room to see Annika and anshi playing with pillows.

The room got filled with laughter as Anshi started tickling Annika.
Shivaay never felt so content in his life as much as he was feeling at that moment. He realised her laughter meant the world to him.
When she cried earlier, he felt happy as she started showing her emotions.
But when she laughed , he felt satisfied.

" Uhhuu uhhu" shivaay fake coughed to gain the duo's attention.

Shivaay walked forward and sat on the bed with Annika and Anshi.
" So, do you like Annika?" Shivaay questioned. He knew the answer but he wanted to hear from Anshi's mouth.

" You choice is beautiful billu just like you"
Hearing Anshi's words , his cheeks turned red and he started looking down , blushing.

" Aww" Annika and anshi spoke in unison while both caught a hold of his cheeks on either side to which Shivaay blushed further.

Shivaay took both of them into a tight hug. He closed his eyes feeling the moment. This is how touch felt like, this is how closeness felt like.
It was so healing, he realised.

As shivaay opened his eyes, he realised that mishra was still standing there.
" Mishra why are you standing there .
Come here "

" Annika , mishra is here to talk about the proofs "

Hearing the word proofs, the smile drained out of Annika's face. Her mistake , and they lost the game.

" I am so sorry Shivaay,because of me we lost everything. We lost the proofs . We lost the only way we could avenge the death of our parents. I am so.."

Annika couldn't complete her words as shivaay put his palm over her mouth.

" Shh and listen to me . Stop apologising continously. First of all, you don't need to apologise to me even when you make any mistake. Secondly right now you haven't even made any mistake so stop feeling guilty."

" Umm" shivaay heard her muffled voice and immediately took his hand away.

" What do you mean shivaay? How have I not made any mistake?"

" It's cause we haven't lost the proofs and even if we had lost , it was not your mistake"

Annika sat there with her mouth open, shocked hearing shivaay's words.
How did they not lose the proofs?
