I think that Shisui is a little out of character in this one, but I did my best! So I hope you will still like it!

Shisui's POV

-"Out my way!"

My voice shouted at a demon as I sliced it in half with my fire sword. A playful smirk on my lips as I continued moving ostentatiously through the demons in front of me and making sure to kill each and every one of them. The strange and unique shapes that they had was disgusting, but it was just another thing to add to the list for enjoying killing them.

-"Shisui take this a little more seriously! The whole village is in danger!" Itachi told me as he used a fire technique to kill a big amount of demons at the same time.

-"But this is so fun!" I told him smirking as I defeated a big demon and attacked the other one that followed.

-"There is one at the sky!" Izumi informed us as she continued taking the villagers away from the fighting and healing those that needed it.

I gave it a quick glance in an attempt to see its size and strength. My eyes widen shocked once I noticed its enormous black body that almost looked like a dragon's. Its red eyes scanning the area as it was preparing to throw a big fireball out of its mouth and kill as many of the people as it could. If this thing managed to throw successfully its attack, it would lead to at least half the village's destruction. A situation that we had to avoid at any cost.

-"Shisui pay attention!" Itachi shouted at me as he killed a demon that was ready to attack me.

Without noticing I had stopped fighting, since the shock was too big to handle. So that had made me an easy target for our enemies. However, now that my attention was back to them, I continued slicing them like I did seconds ago making sure to keep some of my attention to that thing on the sky.

-"Itachi we need a plan!" I shouted at him as now we were fighting back to back.

-"I can't think of any without leaving Izumi and the villagers unprotected!" he told me worried, knowing what was coming.

I cursed in my mind as the demons around us were growing in number and the one on the sky had its attack almost ready. The only thing that we could do was to repel the fireball with a combination of our powers. However, that meant that the villagers would be left unprotected and Izumi wouldn't be able to keep them safe in her protection barrier due to how many the demons were. So in the end we had nothing. We were just going to watch the people die, because we were stupid enough to not have a strong technique right now.

-"Cover yourselves!" Izumi shouted at us, warning us that the attack was coming.

Itachi and I got ready for the blast in a fire protection barrier that we created around us, as we were hoping that it would at least kill the demons around us. However, the attack never happened. A loud bang was heard before the enormous creature, which seconds ago was on the sky, hit the ground. Its injured body immediately tried to get up, as a monstrous awful scream came out of its mouth. It was preparing another big attack when suddenly someone came from the sky punching it hard enough on the head and killing it on the spot. A small wave of dust was now on the air making it impossible to see clearly, but I was sure that everyone was trying to figure out what had just happened, since even the demons around us had stopped moving.

-"You two look pitiful."

I knew that voice very well. That annoying overconfident girly voice was too familiar in my ears, as a woman's figure had started appearing through the dust. I wanted so bad to frown or get mad at her, but right now I was relieved that she came. It was probably the first and the last time that I was going to feel like that for her actions, since she tended to not follow orders. So for just this one time I was going to let it be.

-"Are you going to fight or what?!" I asked her smirking, as I started attacking once again the demons around us.

-"I can't let you take all the glory!" she answered as she used her monstrous strength to help out the situation.

Before we knew it the fighting was over and every single one of those creatures had died and vanished from existence. I immediately allowed my tired body to fall on the ground as a heavy sigh escaped my lips. This was too much even for an Uchiha like me, tho I would never admit it out loud. My ego was too big to say something like that. I was supposed to belong to one of the strongest families that have ever lived, after all.

-"Do you need a hand?" the same girly voice asked me, making me look up.

My black eyes met a pair of (e/c) ones, as a sweet and kind smile was accompanying them. Her body bend a little as her hand was stretched out for me to take. Her beautiful (h/c) hair were tied up on a ponytail to keep them away from interfering in her fighting style and gave her a more mature look that didn't match her personality at all. She was standing right in front of me in all her glory as she always did. A girl that I can't stand at all, but can't live without either.

I stretched out my hand in an attempt to take hers. However, I never let her pull me up. What really happened was that I pulled her down on the ground and got on top of her body. I held each of her hands to the sides of her head as my feet held hers tightly closed. My eyes stared at her dangerously as I tried my best to not get affected by her innocent and cute frown.

-"That was dangerous." I told her in a stern voice.

-"You and your ego..." she mumbled as she sighed indignantly.
-"A thank you would be better."

-"You were supposed to stay at the other side of the village and fight."

-"The others could handle it without me, so I went for the big demon."

-"You could have died, if you had missed."

-"But I didn't. And after all I am strong. I can protect myself."

-"I am strong too, bu-"

-"But stupid as well." she interrupted me as her eyes glared at me.
-"I told you many times to not use your powers for meaningless things, because you never know what to expect."

-"I am supposed to scold you!" I told her frowning, not liking how she was turning things around.

-"You should have thought of that before showing off your powers to the villagers earlier."

I continued glaring at her as I tried my best to think of an answer. However, I couldn't think of any. She was right. I shouldn't be using my powers without a purpose. Especially not when we are out for a mission. If I hadn't done so, I would have been able to deal with all of this alone. I would have protected her and not the other way around.

-"Thank you." I mumbled as I touched my forehead to hers.

-"That's better." she said softly, smiling and staring in my eyes.

-"Don't expect me to say it again."

-"I don't." she said with a soft giggle.
-"But you should stop being so selfish and accept some help. At least your girlfriend's help."

-"I am supposed to be protecting you." I told her frowning.

-"Then do it right the next time."

-"I will." I told her confident, as I smiled at her.

After that I connected our lips making us share a sweet kiss. It didn't last long, since we weren't in the right place for it, but it was enough for both of us. It was enough to make us feel as we always feel when we are together. It made us feel like we are falling in love with each other all over again. A feeling that every single time starts from something small like a smile and ends in a bed under a shared house with both of us expressing our love to each other. I may be selfish and hate how she acts so confidently, but I can't imagine a single day of my life without her. She is my everything. The only one that can scold me and act so caressly. She is my girl.

-"I love you."

-"I love you too (Y/n)."
