I can't tell

I'm spiraling deep

In this underground well

It started with

And accident

I fell forward

Like I never meant

To but now as I

Sit her lonely

I wish I'd been your

One and only

Because now

I'll never get

To tell you how 

I feel, the floor is wet

The water--it rises

To my ankles now

I'm afraid

There's no denying how

My heart beats quicker

With every inch

They'll save me still

From in this hitch

They won't leave me 

Here to decay
