Kaash...
Sameer, holding his Angel in his arms, felt the warmth of her embrace, which brought a profound sense of healing and hope. For the first time in a long while, a glimmer of light shone in his heart. This moment marked the beginning of a new chapter—one filled with love, understanding, and the promise of a brighter future. The bond between them gave him the strength and courage to face whatever lay ahead, knowing that with his family's love, he could overcome any challenge and cherish every precious moment together.
Naina stepped outside and sat on the lawn with Munna, deeply lost in her thoughts. The sudden turns in their life left her with complex feelings. Though Sameer was weighed down by guilt, she couldn't deny her own share of responsibility for everything that had happened. Despite the rocky start to their relationship, Sameer had made sincere efforts to mend it later on. If she had trusted him and revealed her pregnancy earlier, many of their doubts and misunderstandings might have been resolved then.
But now, she knew that nothing could change the past. Instead, she resolved to focus on their family and their future. At this moment, she realized that with the love of their family, they could overcome any obstacle and cherish the beautiful bond they shared. This realization brought a sense of peace and determination, as Naina vowed to nurture and protect the precious connection they had built together.
Her thoughts halt hearing someone clearing his throat. She turned her face seeing Munna looking at her, "hmm... voh Naina... I also want to say sorry to you..."
Naina's confusion grew as Munna explained, "I know as a doctor, I should have been more careful... But that day, I was so disturbed because Pooja didi was in the hospital due to complications with her pregnancy, and I had to leave her in that state... when I reached India, Pandit was supposed to meet me at nursing home, but couldn't happen and his phone was also unreachable due to bad weather..."
She saw the guilt and worry etched on Munna's face, realizing the weight he had been carrying. Her heart softened, understanding that everyone had their own battles and burdens to bear.
Munna sighed deeply, his voice filled with regret, "maine jab tumhein OT mein dekha toh as a process and precaution tumse naam puchha tha lekin shayad tumhara aur uss ladki ka naam bohot similar tha isliye tumne bhi semi- conscious condition mein haan kar di... if I was not in hurry to go back, I would have waited for Pandit to come to re-verify before the procedure but..." he stopped as all his apologies make no sense about the mistake he has done.
Naina's heart ached as she realized the confusion and misunderstanding that had led to the day's events. She could see the remorse in Munna's eyes and knew that he had been trying his best in a difficult situation.
She nodded her head slowly, "it's okay Munna bhaiya... I know it's not completely your fault also... it's all destiny which played with us... infact kaun yakeen karega ki itne saalon baad achanak ek din mein aapse yun milungi aur paanch saal pehle accidentally jis tarah meri zindagi badli thi, aaj vahi mere jeene ki wajah ban jaayegi..."
Naina laughed softly, "In fact, I should be thanking you... kyunki Sameer se milne se pehle hi, Sameer aur meri taqdeer ek saath jud gayi thi... unka ehsaas meri ruh mein sama gaya tha... and it was all because of you... galti se hi sahi lekin aap kahin na kahin meri khushiyon ki wajah bane ho... meri zindagi mein Nehu aapki wajah se aayi hai and I'm endlessly grateful for you, beyond measure..."
Munna's eyes widened in surprise, but then a warm smile spread across his face. He had been carrying the burden of guilt, but Naina's words lifted that weight off his shoulders.
Munna gently caressed Naina's head, feeling a deep sense of admiration for her soft-hearted and loving nature. He marvelled at how forgiving and kind she was, understanding why not only Sameer, but also Pandit, Karthik, and Amrita always spoke so highly of her. Naina was indeed a person with a golden heart, someone who could forgive with an open heart and embrace others with unconditional love. In that moment, Munna felt grateful to be in the presence of such a remarkable person, and he silently thanked the universe for bringing her into Sameer's life.
Their moment was interrupted by the sound of laughter coming from behind them. They turned to see the father-daughter duo, both of them laughing heartily. Angel was nestled in Sameer's arms, her little voice chattering away with endless stories and amusing remarks, making him laugh even more.
It was a heartwarming sight—seeing Sameer and Angel so happy together brought a sense of relief and joy to Naina and Munna. The cheerful giggles and the bond between them were a testament to the love and resilience of their family, giving everyone hope for a brighter and more joyful future.
With a beaming smile, Sameer pulled Naina close with his other arm. "So finally, Munna, let me introduce you to my world, my two lifelines... my dream girl - Naina and my Angel," he said, his voice filled with pride and joy.
As he introduced his best friend to his beloved wife and daughter, there was a palpable sense of love and happiness in the air. Sameer's eyes sparkled with gratitude, and the warmth of the moment enveloped them all. It was a perfect introduction, uniting the people who mattered the most to him, and reinforcing the bonds of friendship and family that would support them through anything.
Munna smiled widely taking Angel in his arms giving a soft peck on her forehead, "you are really an Angel... no doubts aapke Papa ne aapka naam bilkul sahi rakha hai..." he said pulling her chubby cheeks lovingly making her giggle.
No wonder she's a pure angel, effortlessly and swiftly lifting her father from the depths of his sorrow. Just moments ago, Sameer was inconsolable, completely devastated. But now, he's laughing and smiling wholeheartedly—all because of this little Angel.
Naina, seeing everyone relaxed and chatting happily, felt a warm smile spread across her face as she made her way inside the house. The tension of the day had made them all forget lunch, and she realized that it was Munna's first time at her home. She felt it was important to properly welcome him and ensure he felt at ease.
Meanwhile, Sameer took Angel to the nearby park to spend some quality time with her. The day's events had caused him to miss his promise of taking her to the amusement park, but he was determined to make it up to her. Munna, feeling a strong bond with the little one, decided to join them. The park provided a perfect escape for all of them, helping to lift their spirits after such a stressful day.
As they all enjoyed the playful moments, it was a beautiful reminder that amidst the chaos, family and friends could find solace and happiness in each other's company.
Munna settling besides Sameer in a bench viewing the little one playing with her friends, "so, finally sab settle ho hi gaya... I must say that it's all seems like miracle, but you always believed in your love and today it was being tested like never before..."
Sameer smiled, "ofcourse... aakhir pyaar ki jeet toh honi hi thi... and I am more than glad ki der se hi sahi aaj hum donon ke dilon se saare bojh utar gaye... itane saalon se mein Naina ko nahin bata saka about the surrogacy we planned and believe me maine toh maan bhi liya tha ki shayad procedure fail ho gaya hoga isiliye voh ladki humein nahin mili... lekin kismat ko kuchh aur hi manjoor tha..."
"bhagwan ne usey mere hi paas bheja taaki mein uski aur apni Angel ki hifazat aur care kar sakun... lekin maine apni bewkoofi se voh mauka bhi gawa diya... but I promise ki mein un beete saalon ki har kami poora kar dunga... donon ko har voh Khushi, voh pyara dunga jiski voh donon haqdaar hai..."
Munna laughed softly patted on his shoulder, "aur ab toh teri bhi baari hai apne hisse ka pyaar paane ki... I mean itane saal apni biwi aur apne bachche ki Maa se dur jo raha hai... I am really happy for you ki teri zindagi ki bhi nayi shuruaat ho gayi... Pandit ke saath saath tujhe bhi tera pyaar mil gaya..." Munna was genuinely happy for his friends, but deep down, he felt a pang of sadness, missing his own love.
Sameer keeping his hand on his shoulder assure him, "tu chinta mat kar... jaise mujhe aur Pandit ko unka pyaar mila hai, I am sure teri kismat mein bhi tera pyaar jaldi hi milega... and believe me jab bhi voh tere saamne aayegi, dekhna kaise tujhe jhat se gale laga legi... aakhir mera dost hai hi itna payara ki koi bhi uske charm se bach nahin sakta..."
Munna shook his head feeling bit shy, "meri chhod abhi toh tera waqt hai kisi ko gale lagane ka... I know tu har pal Angel ke saath bitana chahta hai lekin tujhe nahin lagta iss waqt tujhe kisi aur ke saath bhi thoda time spent karna chahiye... akele mein..." Munna winked mischievously, causing Sameer to blush at his cheeky advice.
Munna smiled warmly, encouraging Sameer, "aur phir, Angel ke saath thoda time spent karna toh uske Chachu ka bhi haq hai... after all, voh hamari bhi toh jaan hai... humein bhi itne saalon ki kasar poori karni hai... after all usey is duniya mein laane ki saari planning maine jo ki thi..." Sameer felt his heart lighten, grateful for Munna's support and understanding.
Once Sameer left with Munna and Angel, Naina entered her kitchen to prepare their favourite dishes. She smiled thinking how life has given a second chance to them and she vowed to grab it tightly and live to the fullest.
Sameer watched her, lost in her thoughts, and felt his heart swell with quiet love. "I missed you jaan..." he murmured, startling her. Without giving her much time to react, he pulled her into a tight embrace from behind.
"Sameer... koi dekh lega..." Naina whispered, trying to wriggle free from his embrace. But her delicate attempts only made Sameer hold her tighter, savouring the playful resistance he adored so much.
Sameer placed soft kisses on her shoulders, making her feel like a delicate toy in his hands. 'Nehu aa jayegi...' she tried to voice out, but it came out as a whisper, encouraging him to shower her neck with even more kisses.
"Angel apne Munna chacha ke saath park mein busy hai ... so can I have some alone time with my lovely wife? You know na, if I don't see you for a while, my energy levels drop so much..." he explained innocently, his tone so earnest it made her chuckle at his adorable exaggeration.
"Its time for my love..." he whispered in her ears in his husky voice which messes her heart, and he kissed her below here ear making her take her breath in shots.
With a gentle touch, he turned her to face him, his lips finding hers in a fervent kiss that left her breathless and weak at the knees. When he finally pulled away, he gazed into her deep, dark eyes, his voice a tender whisper, "I know I wanted to spend every moment with my Angel to make up for the time we lost... but my heart can never stop missing you, not even for a second." his lips brushed against hers again, igniting a desire within her that made her heart race.
Naina's heart pounded fiercely against her ribcage as she listened. "I can't imagine how I survived being apart from you for so long... but now, I can't bear even a moment without you... I just want to hide you away from the world and hold you captive in my arms..." he murmured, his eyes fixated on her lips, hoping she would take the initiative. Naina rose onto her tiptoes, her lips gravitating towards his. A sly smile spread across his face, and soon their lips met once more. His wet kisses travelled from her neck to her shoulder, igniting a burning sensation that coursed through her entire being.
With a tender tug, Sameer pulled her onto the counter, maintaining an unbroken connection with her body. His touch made her legs buckle, sending a thrilling jolt through her. Her breath came in shallow, ragged gasps as he held her close.
They remained in each other's embrace for several minutes, enveloped in the essence of one another's soul before Naina broke up the serenity of the moment, "Sameer... mujhe lagta hai humein hamare baare mein sab ko bata dena chahiye... I mean Nanu aur baaki sab ko... especially Nehu ke baare mein..."
Sameer keeping her in his hold asked caressing her back knowing how much courage she need to face everyone, "are you sure... Naina, I don't want you to put in any pressure... jab tak tum ready nahin ho..."
She cut him between, "I am ready Sameer, aur jab aap mere saath ho toh mujhe koi darr nahin... mujhse galti huyi hai jo mein sabke pyaar ko thukra kar yahaan aa gayi toh jo saja bhi milegi voh mujhe manjoor hai lekin ab mein nahin chahti ki kisi se bhi koi raaz rahe... aakhin sab apne hi toh hai..."
Sameer parted slightly looking deeply into her eyes smiled, "jaisa tum kaho... mein bhi saari duniya ko batana chahta hoon ki mujhe meri zindagi, aur usey jeene ki wajah vaapas mil gayi hai... meri Naina aur meri Angel mere paas hai, mere dil ke sabse kareeb... "
"My heart is brimming with joy, and I want the world to know just how fortunate I am. It feels as if I have been blessed with a precious gift, and every moment I spend in this happiness is a testament to the wonder in my life..." he whispered breathing in her hair scent that he loves so much, her familiar body scent wafter into his nostrils and soothed his heart.
Sameer dipped his head slightly again to claim her lips when a knock sounded at the door, followed by a low squeak and a familiar man's voice, "what the hell...?"
They both turned to see Munna, standing with Angel in one arm and his other hand gently covering her eyes, as he watched the couple engrossed in their romantic moment in the kitchen, "yaar kuchh toh control karo... bechare bachche ko kya sikhaoge tum log..." he smirked, gave them a wink, and watched as they turned as red as a tomato.
Sameer coming towards him took Angel in his arms giving a soft peck on her cheeks, "she is my Angel, aur isey kuchh bhi sikhane ki koi jarurat nahin... love is in her blood..."
Naina coming close to them hit slightly on his arm, "shh... kuchh bhi haan... Munna bhaiya is right... bachchon ke saamne aisi baatein nahin karte aur na hi harkatein..." she said slowly, looking down and feeling incredibly shy, while the other one seemed completely unfazed by his antics.
Munna seeing them all lost in their banter left getting some rest thinking, "I wish mera pyaar bhi mere saath hota... kaash yeh pyaar bhare lamhe meri zindagi mein bhi aa paate, agar maine apni bewkoofi se uska dil na dukhaya hota... agar aaj hum saath hote toh ek pyaari si Angel shayad hamare paas bhi hoti..."
He paused for a moment before heading into his room, watching the loving couple with their little bundle of joy. His heart ached with a mix of longing and regret, "aaj Sameer ki har khushi ki wajah uska pyaar aur uss pyaar par uska bharosa hai... lekin maine toh khud apne haathon se hi apne pyaar ka bharosa toda hai... shayad yahi meri saza hai ki mein zindagi bhar uske liye tadpu... lekin hamesha se ek chahat dil mein rahegi ki kaash Sameer ki tarah mujhe bhi ek mauka mil jaaye..."
He wiped a lone tear fall, "Perhaps this is my punishment, to yearn for her for the rest of my life... Yet, there's always been a wish in my heart that, like Sameer, I too might get another chance... Just once, if my love could come before me... I would never let her go away again... whether she blames me for my mistakes or punishes me, I would accept it all, just to have her back once" he exhaled deeply, feeling an ache in his chest as the weight of his own actions settled in. He couldn't help but think about how recklessly he had shattered his own chance at happiness.
As he exhaled deeply, the weight of his own decisions pressed heavily on his chest. He couldn't escape the relentless remorse that gnawed at him. He had been foolish, blinded by his own fears and insecurities, and in doing so, he had driven away the very person who had meant the world to him.
Every fibre of his being yearned for a chance at redemption, for an opportunity to make things right. He longed to hold her close, to assure her that he would never let her go again. His heart ached with an intensity that words could scarcely convey. The reality of his solitude was a harsh reminder of the love he had forsaken.
In the quiet solitude of his room, he couldn't help but wonder if life would ever grant him the chance to mend what was broken. The hope that one day he might find himself worthy of her love again was the only light in his otherwise darkened world.
In some corner of his heart, he harboured a longing for some touch of magic in his life to bring back the love he had lost. He often found himself daydreaming about a miraculous turn of events, one that would reunite him with the person who had once filled his life with so much joy and meaning. He imagined what it would be like to experience the same kind of light and happiness that Angel had brought into Sameer's life.
On the other side of the city, a solitary figure stood, looking out into the endless ocean. The waves crashed relentlessly against the shore, but she seemed untouched by the sight or sound. Her eyes were vacant, staring into the void as if searching for answers that the sea couldn't provide. The weight of her own miseries hung heavily upon her shoulders, her thoughts lost in a labyrinth of sorrow and regret. She felt utterly alone, engulfed by an overwhelming sense of despair as the vastness of the ocean mirrored the vastness of her inner turmoil.
Swati POV
I am sorry Naina pehli baar tujhse jhuth bolne ke liye... maine apni har Khushi, har gham tere saath share kiya hai lekin ab mujhe tujhse aur Nehu se dur hona hi padega. It seems I must once again come to terms with being alone... It's not that I'm unhappy for you, Nehu, and Sameer; in fact, I've always prayed for your happiness. But I never imagined that your joy would create such distance between us.
Nehu's sweet smile and playful antics made time fly by, even helping me forget my own pain. Yet now, you have your own world—a loving husband and the most adorable daughter, and soon you will leave me alone, returning to your world with your loved ones. I will miss you two.
Nehu ke saath, aisa lagta tha jaise zindagi ne mere har dukh ka ilaaj de diya ho. Jab pehli baar usey dekha tha toh uski masoom si surat aur chamakti aankhon ne mere andheron bhare dinon ko roshni se bhar diya. Aise kai pal the jab mujhe lagta tha ki mera dil kabhi uss dard se ubhar nahin paayge, lekin Nehu ki muskaan, uske saath bitaye hue har pal ne mere zakhmon pe marham lagaya... maine usey pal pal badhte hue dekha hai, uski shararatein dekh kar hansne lagi thi mein, apna dard bhula kar phir se jeene lagi thi... tere aur Nehu ke saath bitaye har pal, tumhari yaadein mere dil ke hamesha sabse kareeb rahengi...
Aaj teri zindagi mein tera pyaar vaapas aa gaya hai aur jald hi voh tujhe mujhse dur le jayega... mein khush hoon tere liye aur meri duaayen hamesha tere saath rahegi lekin ab mujhe akele jeene ki aadat daal leni chahiye... shayad yeh judaai aur duriyaan hi meri kismat mein likhi hai... pehle Maa papa ke jaane ke baad Shefali didi aur jijaji ne mujhe sambhala, mujhe kabhi akela nahin hone diya... mera doctor banane ka sapna poora kiya... aur jab mere pyaar ne mujhse munh moda toh tere saath ne mujhe phir se ek baar himmat di... jis tarah tu ne har dard sah kar bhi Nehu ke liye apne aap ko kabhi tootane nahin diya vaise hi tere saath ne mujhe bhi apna gham bhulakar zindagi mein aage badhne ki prerna di...
Sabko lagta hai ki mein bohot strong hoon, hamesha khush rehti hoon, lekin ab lagta hai ki jaise phir se ek baar zindagi mere haathon se phisal rahi hai... har baar jab mein khud ko samet kar do kadam aage badhti hoon, meri khushiyaan mujhse chaar kadam dur chali jaati hai...
Kaash aaj mera pyaar mere saath hota toh inn khushiyon par mera bhi haq hota... lekin shayad meri kismat mein tanhayi likhi hai... teri khushiyaan mujhe apni jaan se bhi jyaada pyaari hai, lekin ab mujhe apne khali pan se ek baar phir samjhota karna padega... mujhe akele hi zindagi ka safar tay karna hoga, apne andar hi taqat dhoondhni hogi aur hamare saath guzare hue palon mein sukoon pana hoga...
My love for you and Nehu remains unwavering, and my prayers for your happiness are endless. Perhaps I am destined to always be apart from my loved ones, like my first love, then you, and now Nehu... everyone leaves me alone... no matter how different our paths may become, all three of you will always live in my heart as sweet memories.
The loud, shrill ring of her phone abruptly shattered her thoughts, pulling her back from the depths of her mind. She hesitated for a moment before answering, aware that the person on the other end would only worry more if they sensed her sadness. "Hi, Naina..." she said with a heavy heart, her voice carrying a blend of weariness and resignation.
Feeling her voice so low, Naina asked instantly, "kahaan hai tu Swati... hum kab se tera wait kar rahe hai... Nehu ko toh ghar bhej diya lekin itna kya kaam hai ki tu hospital se vaapas hi nahin aa rahi... sab theek hai na... kuchh jyaada complicated case aa gaya hai kya..." she asked knowing how much she had devoted herself to her work, often neglecting her own well-being in the process.
Swati replied feeling exhausted with her thoughts, "shayad tu theek kar rahi hai... case thoda complicated toh hai... lekin tu chinta mat kar mein sambhal lungi..."
Naina finding her voice so low asked, "Swati tu theek hai na... agar tu kahe toh mere tere paas aa jaaun... mujhe pata hai tu chaahe duniya ke saamne kitni bhi strong ban jaaye lekin dil se tu ek dam soft hai... kisi ka bhi dukh tujhse dekha nahin jaata aur tu apne aap ko stress kar leti hai... varna aaj tu Nehu ko akele ghar nahin aane deti aur na hi itani der tak hospital mein rehti..." she spoke with concern, worried that may be a complicated case had kept her so occupied and busy that she hadn't come home yet, even though it was already so late.
Swati smiled, pulling herself together, determined not to let Naina sense the depth of her loneliness, "don't worry, sab theek hai... I will manage... aur ab tu mera dhyaan chhod kar apne lover boy ka dhyaan rakhna seekh... mujhe maloom hai abhi bhi voh tere aage pichhe hi ghoom raha hoga jaise meethe par makkhi bhinakti hai..." she let out a soft laugh, lightening the conversation to ensure that Naina wouldn't worry about her any longer.
Naina smiled as she felt his hands wrap around her waist from behind. He murmured softly, "Missing you, jaan..." She kept her voice steady and replied, "Voh mein sambhal lungi, bas tu jaldi se ghar aa jaa... vaise bhi tujhe bohot kuchh batana hai..." she was bursting with excitement to tell Swati how she had recently felt an even deeper connection with Sameer through Nehu.
Swati's nerves intensified as she thought, "it seems they are soon returning to their life in Delhi... I hope I can hide my pain and not interfere with their happiness..."
Without letting her anxiety show, she quickly responded, "Yeah sure... I'll be back soon... bye." She disconnected the call before any suspicion could arise.
Throughout their ups and downs, they had been each other's strongest pillars, supporting one another through thick and thin. Now, it was time for Naina to embrace the happiness she deserved, living a carefree life with her love. Swati always wanted the best for Naina and never wished to be a hurdle in her joyous future. She knew that Naina's happiness lay in moving forward with her family, and Swati wholeheartedly supported that.
Yet, deep down, Swati couldn't help but feel a profound sense of sorrow and emptiness. As Naina ventured into her bright new life, Swati was left behind, grappling with the solitude that engulfed her. Her heart was shattered, and her days seemed aimless and devoid of purpose. The thought of facing life without Naina's constant presence filled her with an overwhelming sadness.
Swati's mind wandered to the countless memories they had shared—the laughter, the tears, the moments of triumph and defeat. Each memory was a testament to the bond they had built, a bond that had been unbreakable. But now, she was faced with the harsh reality of their paths diverging, and the loneliness that accompanied it was almost unbearable.
Despite her own heartache, Swati knew she had tolet Naina go, to allow her to bask in the happiness she had found. Swati's lovefor Naina remained steadfast, but she was acutely aware that her own painshould never cast a shadow over Naina's joy. With a heavy heart, she resolvedto find strength within herself, to navigate the lonely journey ahead, and tocherish the memories that would forever remain a treasure in her heart.
