Sameer hurried out of their room, followed closely by Naina, both equally anxious about the possible repercussions of the loud noises. In their quiet moments earlier, they had completely forgotten to inform Swati that Munna was resting in her room. Initially, they assumed Swati would spend another night at the hospital, caught up in work. However, when she returned, they had a conversation with her, gaining her agreement to move to Delhi with them. Noticing how exhausted she was, Naina allowed her to retreat to her room for some much-needed rest.
Sameer turned the doorknob and stepped into Swati's room, finding it shrouded in complete darkness. Strange noises filled the air—one was loud, filled with shouting and reprimands, while the other was faint and pained, like someone softly hissing in discomfort.
Before he approached further, Naina entered and quickly switch on the lights, shocking to them about the view in front of them.
Swati was perched on the bed, gripping a pillow tightly in both hands with a look of determination. She pressed it firmly down on a mysterious figure that was entirely cocooned in a thick duvet, resembling a fortress of blankets. The figure beneath the layers remained unrecognizable, motionless except for faint signs of life, as if it were bracing itself against her relentless pillow assault. The scene carried an air of amusing absurdity, blending her seriousness with the bizarre spectacle of battling a bundle under the covers.
Naina got shocked keeping her hand on her mouth knowing who could be the innocent soul getting tortured from her fierce friend, who keep shouting, "dekha tum donon hamesha ek dusre mein khoye rehte ho aur tumhari laaparwahi se ghar mein chor ghus aaya hai... achchha hua jo mein hospital se aa gayi varna yeh saara ghar loot kar le jaata aur tum donon laina majnu apne sapno ki duniya mein hi khoye rehte..." she scolds them both still standing in same position, for being so careless of not caring about the security of house.
Naina hurried to Swati, pulling her off the bed, "Swati, tu pehle neeche aa... yeh kya haal bana diya tu ne..." she exclaimed, noticing Munna lying still, clearly worn out from Swati's relentless pillow attack. The scene was chaotic, with Naina trying to restore some order while Munna remained motionless, a silent victim of the commotion.
Sameer, who had been standing there in shock, unable to decide whether to laugh or intervene, finally stepped forward to help his friend. With a mix of amusement and concern, he tried to pull Swati away, murmured slowly, "hey bhagwan... pata nahin kaun se mahurat mein bechara mera dost Goa aaya hai... jab se aaya hai ladkiyon se pit hi raha hai... pehle meri cute Naina aur ab Swati maiyya..." saying this, Sameer turned to his exhausted friend. He gently helped Munna escape from the fortress of blankets, freeing him from the chaotic duvet. Guiding him carefully, he helped Munna sit back on the bed, still catching his breath after enduring Swati's relentless onslaught. The scene slowly shifted from absurdity to calm as Munna tried to regain his composure.
Swati seeing Sameer helping to the intruder turned to Naina, "tu chhod mujhe Naina... aaj iss chor ki akal thikane nahin lagayi toh mera naam bhi Swati nahin... aise kaise itani security ke hote huye bhi ghar mein ghus gaya..." she tried to rid off from her grip to strangle the intruder to teach him a lifetime lesson, but Sameer blocked her way to again hitting his friend.
Sameer turned towards her and said, "Swati, yeh koi chor nahin hai... yeh mera bachpan ka dost Munna hai... maine subah tumse kaha tha na ki yeh aane wala hai..." Now, it was Swati's turn to be taken aback. Slowly, she shifted her gaze towards Naina, who gave a slight nod and mouthed a quiet apology for not informing her earlier.
Swati let out a heavy sigh, shooting a sharp glare at both of them for their foolishness. "toh... mujhe kya pata... I mean, agar mein achanak se apne room aur apne bed par kisi ko dekhungi toh, obviously, chor hi samjhungi na... It's entirely your fault, lovebirds, jo hamesha apni hi duniya mein khoye rehte ho..." she shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly, effortlessly shifting all the blame onto them, as if she couldn't possibly be at fault.
Sameer narrowed his eyes with exaggerated drama, "haan... haan, toh bhool gaye, lekin aise kaun dhulaai karta hai? Bhagwan bachaye iss shahar ke choron ko tum jaisi jaalimo se... pehle subah Naina ne pitwa kar jail bhej diya, aur ab rahi kasar tumne poori kar di..." he lamented, shaking his head as if recounting the series of unfortunate events that had mercilessly tormented his poor friend.
Naina, choosing to block out their incessant and absurd banter, stepped forward with a deep sense of guilt. Feeling genuinely remorseful for her carelessness, she decided to apologize to Munna once again, hoping to make amends, "sorry Munna bhaiya... sab meri hi galti hai... mujhe aapko iss room mein rest karne se pehle Swati ka schedule check kar lena chahiye tha... actually mujhe laga yeh aaj raat ko aayegi nahin toh... but I am really very sorry..."
Munna, overwhelmed by the whirlwind of events unfolding since morning, found himself at a loss for how to react. Realizing it was all just another series of coincidences, he resolved not to let Sameer or Naina worry about him. Gently placing a hand on Sameer's shoulder to calm him, Munna stepped forward. However, as his eyes fell on the person locked in an endless argument with Sameer, he froze—completely stunned, unable to process the unexpected twist before him.
His breath hitched, and his heart almost stopped as his eyes locked onto the figure standing before him. The world seemed to blur, the chaos around him fading into silence. It was as if time itself had come to a standstill. After searching every corner, every street, every possibility, there they were—right in front of him. The disbelief hit him like a tidal wave, leaving him frozen in place, unable to decide if this was reality or some cruel illusion.
At that very moment, Swati slowly lifted her head, her gaze falling upon the person who had endured her relentless blows without a word of protest. Her movements came to a halt as her breath caught, and an inexplicable stillness gripped her. She stood there, frozen in shock, mirroring his reaction. The weight of recognition sank in, paralyzing them both in a shared moment of disbelief and silence, as if the world around them had momentarily ceased to exist.
Unaware of Sameer and Naina's entertained glances, watching their astonished reactions unfold, the two of them instinctively stepped closer to one another. Their eyes locked, laden with shock and recognition, and in perfect unison, a single word escaped their lips, filled with disbelief and emotion, "tum... tum yahaan..."
A few minutes later, Sameer, standing in the backyard with Munna, kept staring at him as though he were some aliens being. Struggling to make sense of the whirlwind of events, he asked again, his tone thick with suspicion, "are you sure... matlab... tu ne theek se dekha toh tha na..."
Munna, clearly exasperated, shot him an irritated look and replied, "you think mein koi joke kar raha hoon... of course yeh vahi hai... jis ladki ko mein saari duniya mein dhundhta phir raha hoon voh yahaan Naina Bhabhi aur tere saath ek hi ghar mein rah rahi hai aur mujhe pata bhi nahin chala..."
Still trying to process the shock, Sameer attempted to gather himself, stammering, "yaar, I mean mera matlab tha ki aise kaise ho sakta hai... matlab Swati toh Naina ke saath Singapore mein thi... aur tujh se voh US ke kisi medical seminar mein mili thi... and you don't know ki Swati Shefali Bhabhi ki behen hai aur pichhle teen saal se Naina aur Angel ke saath yahaan Goa mein hi thi..." the layers of confusion and disbelief thickened, leaving both of them grappling with the extraordinary twist of fate that had unravelled before them.
Munna was completely stunned when he uncovered the truth about the girl he had been yearning to find for the past five years. To his utter disbelief, she was none other than Shefali's sister—a revelation that hit him like a bolt of lightning. Memories from their teenage years came flooding back, memories of a bond with Shefali, so profound, with whom they had shared those cherished times, who had been in a relationship with Arjun bhai.
A hint of amusement crossed Sameer's face as he processed the absurdity of their situation. Chuckling, he said, "hamari kismat toh dekho... mein Naina ko aur tu Swati ko paanch saal se har jagah dhundh rahe the, aur voh donon yahaan hum se door, ek hi ghar mein, ek saath reh rahi thi... matlab, kya irony hai... Naina ne mujhe kabhi bataya tha ki Swati kisi se pyaar karti thi aur uska dil toot gaya tha... but yaar, main toh kabhi imagine hi nahi kar sakta tha ki woh ladka tu ho sakta tha..."
Munna, still irritated and overwhelmed, gave him a look that could burn through steel. "haan, bahut funny hain a sab tere liye... hans le beta jita hansna hai... mera heartbreak aur yeh pura tamasha tujhe stand-up comedy lag raha hai... ek toh itane dinon se Goa mein sabse chhup kar Naina Bhabhi ke saath romance mein busy hai... agar tu ne humein bata diya hota toh mein pehle hi yahaan nahin aa jaata... lekin nahin... Mr Majnu ko apne romance se fursat miley toh na kisi aur ka dhyaan aayega..."
Sameer, unable to hold back his grin, tried to pat Munna on the back in mock sympathy... "kya karein bhai, apni kismat hi kuchh aisi hai... ek saal mein ek Netflix series likh dalenge hum dono ki zindagi pe... maine socha tha Naina se sabse pehle tujhe milwaunga aur dekh kaise aaj ek hi din mein hamari zindagiyon ne 360 degree turn le liya hai... pehle tu Naina se mila, phir Naina ki pregnancy ka sach... mera aur Angel ka bond aur ab tera aur Swati ka past relation..."
Sameer laughing uncontrollable remark, "ek kaam karte hain, Munna... pura ghar Google Map pe 'emotional reunion hotspot' mark kar dete hain, kya pata aur kya-kya nikal aaye... mujhe toh abhi se soch kar hansi aa rahi hai ki jab pandit ko yeh sab pata chalega toh uska toh dimaag hi ghoom jayega... usey toh shock nahin poora 10000 watt ka jhatka hi lag jayega..."
Despite the tension, Munna couldn't help but crack a small, reluctant smile, realizing that even in the most bizarre situations, Sameer would find a way to bring humour into the mix. A moment later, they both burst into uncontrollable laughter, the absurdity of the situation easing their initial shock. It was a hilarious end to an otherwise emotional day.
In Swati's room, Naina sat on the bed with her head resting on her hand, silently watching Swati pace back and forth like a storm brewing in the room. Swati, her face flushed with frustration, stomped around, unable to calm herself. Breaking the silence, Naina finally raised her head and spoke in an exasperated tone, "Swati, bas kar na yaar... aur kitni pad yatra karegi... pehle hi aaj ke din mein itna sab ho gaya ki jo thodi si shanti bachi thi, voh tere shock ne le li. Seriously..."
She sighed dramatically, looking up toward the ceiling and clasping her hands together as if pleading, "hey Bhagwan, bas... ab aur koi naya surprise mat dena iss din mein... kal ke liye bhi kuchh toh chhod do, please..."
Her pitiful expression almost made the whole situation absurdly funny, though Swati wasn't quite ready to laugh yet. The room was a mix of tension, exhaustion, and the tiniest hint of comedic irony only Naina could deliver.
Swati shot Naina a piercing glare, her eyes practically throwing daggers, and snapped, "tu apni bakwaan bandh kar aur yeh bata ki yeh bandar yahaan kar kya raha hai... aur tu ne jaan kar isey mere kamre mein bheja tha na... tumhein kya laga ki yeh Sameer ke bachpan ka dost hai toh mein maaf kar dungi isey... sochna bhi mat..."
Naina gently took Swati's hand and pulled her to sit down, trying to calm her down. With a composed tone, she said, "Swati, yakeen kar mujhe nahin pata tha ki Munna bhaiya hi tere mysterious lover hai... tu khud hi soch kya tu ne kabhi unka naam ya photo mujhe dikhayi hai... nahin na... toh phir mein kaise unhein support kar sakti hoon... infact mein toh khud unse aaj pehli baar hi mili hoon..."
She looked into Swati's fiery eyes, hoping her words would find their way through the storm raging in her mind, "maine jo bhi kiya, woh bas ek coincidence tha, aur kuch nahi... aur agar mujhe pata hota, toh kya tujhe aur unko ek hi kamre mein chhod ke bomb phodne ka risk leti..." she added, with a mix of seriousness and slight humour, trying to inject some sense into Swati's overheated thoughts.
The room lingered in silence as Swati, though still visibly upset, appeared to be grappling with the reasoning behind Naina's words. Naina seeing her so lost in her thoughts said, "Swati in fact aaj ek hi din mein bohot kuchh ho gaya... mein tujhe batana chahti thi lekin tu itani thaki huyi thi ki mujhe mauka hi nahin mila... aur yeh sab kuchh Munna bhaiya se bhi related hai... infact unki wajah se jo sach aaj saamne aaya voh toh mein kabhi soch bhi nahin saki..." her words make her shocked as how come Naina's life be affected with Munna.
With a heavy heart, Naina took a deep breath, her voice trembling as she began to share the series of startling revelations she had uncovered since morning. Each word felt heavy, as if she were unburdening herself after years of carrying an invisible weight. Alongside these revelations, she hesitantly wove in glimpses of her past—memories of her relationship with Sameer and the intricacies of their marriage. Her emotions swirled between sorrow, regret, and a fragile sense of relief as she finally exposed chapters of her life she had guarded for so long.
Despite the years of closeness between them, Naina had never found the courage to open up to Swati about this side of her. But now, standing at this crossroads, she realized there was no reason left to keep anything hidden. Deep down, Naina knew—she trusted—that Swati would never judge her for the choices, mistakes, or secrets of her past.
Her voice carried both guilt and disbelief as she described her first encounter with Munna at the market—a chance meeting that, through an unfortunate misunderstanding, ended with her unknowingly sending him to jail. She paused, her words faltering as she relived the moment, she discovered Munna, not just as a stranger, but as a guest in her own home and, to her amazement, Sameer's best childhood friend.
As the weight of the revelations grew heavier, her voice softened with emotion. She recounted how Munna, in a moment of raw honesty, revealed the truth about her accidental pregnancy—news that shook her to the core. And then, the final, life-altering bombshell: the realization that little Angel was not just a miracle in their lives but shared a blood bond with Sameer himself.
Each word left an impact, as Naina's emotions spilled over. It was a day unlike any other, a whirlwind of coincidences, truths, and connections that reshaped everything they thought they knew.
Swati wiping tears from her cheeks smiled softly, "sorry Naina... aaj ek hi din mein tere saath itna sab ho gaya aur mein bekaar hi tere par bhadak gayi... infact mujhe toh hamesha se yahi lagta tha ki Sameer hi Nehu ke Papa hai... I can't even imagine ki tujh par kya beeti hogi jab achanak se tujhe apni pregnancy ke baare mein pata chala hoga... pehle uss Sharad ka dhokha, phir achanak se Sameer se teri shaadi aur phir pregnancy... but I must say ki tu bohot strong hai... I mean jis imaandaari se tu ne apne rishtey ko nibhaya, apne pyaar par tera vishwas... yahi vishwas aaj Sameer ko tere paas le aaya aur aaj sahi maayne mein tumhara pariwaar poora hua hai... Sameer tujhe aur Nehu ki jitna pyaar karte hai, mujhe poora vishwas hai ki aaj ke baad tumhari khushiyon mein kabhi koi kami nahin aane denge..."
Feeling overwhelmed with gratitude for having such an understanding person in her life, Naina smiled warmly and said, "thanks Swati mujhe samajhne ke liye and sorry ki maine itane saalon tujhse sab chhupaya... mein ek baar apni dost kho chuki hoon lekin aaj tujhe nahin kho sakti thi..." she pulled Swati into a tight embrace, her heart brimming with bittersweet memories of Preeti—the friend who had stood by her steadfastly through every high and low, only to be lost because of her own impulsive actions.
Swati chuckled softly, tapping her forehead as she leaned in slightly, "har waqt sab kuchh akele handle karne ke chakkar mein hi Preeti aur baaki sab tujhse alag huye the... ab dhyaan rakhna ki hum dost sirf masti majaak ke liye hi nahin balki har sukh dukh mein tumhara saath dene ke liye hai... so no more secrets and no hidings... promise..." she smiled warmly, extending her palm which Naina clasped it tightly, sealing an everlasting promise between them.
Swati rolled her eyes dramatically, recalling Naina's masterpiece of chaos that landed him in jail. "Waise, tu ne apne vade aur sapne dono hi dhamakedar tareeke se pure kar liye, haan... pehle toh Doctor sahab ko ekdum filmy style mein jhapad jad diya, aur phir jail ki royal yatra bhi ho gayi... bas, ab aarti ki thali leke vijayotsav manaane ki kami hai..." she smirked, her tone dripping with sarcasm, while trying hard to suppress a chuckle at the sheer comedy of errors.
Feeling embarrassed, Naina stammered, "haan... toh... matlab maine kuchh jaan kar thode hi kiya tha... lekin tu bhi kam nahin hai... bina jaane hi apna gussa nikaal liya aur kya mast kambal dhulaai ki hai... bechare tere Doctor sahab kuchh dinon tak apna khud ka hi ilaaj karte rahenge..." both of them burst into uncontrollable laughter, reminiscing how they always joked about giving a good scolding to each other's partners for hurting them—only to end up unintentionally doing just that with Munna.
Moments passed Naina asked, "lekin tu ne ab kya socha hai... I mean abhi toh tu ne unki pitayi laga di lekin aage ka kya... tu baat karegi na Munna bhaiya se..."
Swati rolled her eyes glaring her, "achchha ji, abhi toh meri dost ban rahi thi aur ab Munna bhaiya ki pairavi ho rahi hai... aur vaise bhi voh kaun sa mujhe dhundhate huye yahaan aaye hai tere Majnu ki tarah... yeh sirf ek coincidence hai, so mujhe nahin lagta hamare beech baat karne jaisa kuchh hai... so please tu mujhe toh apne Munna bhaiya se dur hi rakh... ab mujh mein aur taaqat nahin hai " she spoke, her voice tinged with sadness, as the realization weighed heavily on her heart. Though they were under the same roof, it felt like nothing more than a fleeting coincidence. She hesitated to let her hopes rise, fearing they would only come crashing down again, leaving her heart shattered once more.
Naina sensed the depth of her emotions and gently embraced her in a warm, comforting hug. Her mind wandered as she thought, "pata nahin mein sahi soch rahi hoon ki nahin par achanak yun inn donon ka milna jaise sirf ek co-incidence nahin ho sakta... bhagwan ji please kuchh kijiye na, mein apni saheli ko yun akele aur dukhi nahin dekh sakti..." she silently sent a heartfelt prayer, wishing for her friend's happiness and well-being.
As she held her friend tightly, Naina silently resolved to do everything in her power to support her, hoping that her unspoken prayer would reach the heavens and set into motion something miraculous to brighten her friend's path. The moment, though quiet, was filled with an unshakable bond and Naina's unwavering hope for a better tomorrow.
At the backyard, Munna eagerly asked Sameer about Swati, trying to learn how she was doing. However, neither of them had any insight into her love life. The only thing Sameer knew was that she was still single, which offered a faint glimmer of hope to Munna's anxious heart. Despite this, Munna was utterly lost on how to approach her. The guilt of having embarrassed her in front of everyone when she had confessed her feelings to him—and breaking her heart by not responding to her heartfelt proposal—still weighed heavily on him.
With renewed resolve and the unwavering support of Sameer, he spoke with a radiant smile spreading across his face, "I don't know how I will do it, but I promise that I will earn forgiveness for my mistake. And if there's even a tiny corner of Swati's heart that still holds love for me, then nothing in this world will stop us from being together... I've been given another chance to make things right, and this time, I will fight with all my heart to win back the love of my life..."
Sameer gave him a hearty slap on the back, grinning mischievously, "wah, ab baat bani na... Hero ke dialogue ke saath entry kar raha hai tu... bas ab main yeh dekhne ke liye excited hoon ki mera naram dil, shaant dost Swati Maiyya, jo kisi bhi moment Sherni mode mein aa jaati hai, usse kaise manayega!"
Sameer burst out laughing, and Munna joined in, unable to stop himself as he envisioned the whirlwind that was Swati—a firecracker of temper and razor-sharp wit, the perfect chaos to his calm and tranquil vibe. But even with her stormy nature, his love for his fiery queen was unshakable—because who doesn't love a little thunder with their sunshine.
Let the adventure begin!
Next update next weekend.
