Mark’s grin stretched wide, eyes twinkling with mischief. “I hope you don’t expect me to leave you alone. You’re the only person I’ve been thinking about 24/7 for these five days.”
Hyuck rolled his eyes but couldn’t suppress the smile tugging at his lips. “We’re in different classes, babe. The teachers will get mad at you. You can’t have your father mad at you.”
Mark scoffed, playfully defiant. “Do you think I care? I just really want to be with you, cuddle you, kiss you, and show you how muc—”
He was cut off by a familiar, warm kiss that left him breathless.

The bus ride was long and bumpy, but that moment — that electric kiss — made it all worth it. When the cabin assignments were announced, Mark’s voice echoed with surprise.
“I’m in cabin 13...”
Hyuck’s eyes lit up, disbelief written all over his face. “No way...”
Mark’s grin faltered. “What...”
“I’m also in there.”
Mark’s eyes shot open wide. “WHAT!?”
“YES!!” Hyuck beamed, throwing his arms around the older man and planting a happy kiss on his cheek.
Mark shook his head, a mixture of amusement and relief flooding his features. “I guess my dad isn’t that bad when it comes to room distribution.”
---
Suddenly, a frustrated voice cut through the air.
Jeno, practically yelling into his phone: “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! Your dad put me in a cabin with someone who isn’t even at our school?!”
Mark blinked, curious. “Wait, there’s another school on this trip too?”
“Yes! And I have to share a cabin with a SOPA kid.”
Hyuck snorted, crossing his arms. “SOPA kids think they’re so cool.”
“EXACTLY! And I’m his roommate!” Jeno groaned dramatically.
Mark smirked, shaking his head. “Jeno, chill. You only need to sleep in the same room. The rest of the time you’ll be at school activities.”
“...I guess you’re right. But still…”
Mark clapped him on the shoulder. “Come on, man. You’re a sportsman. Time to be nice to new people.”
Jeno sighed, “Fine. I gotta unpack before the SOPA kid takes all the wardrobe space.”
Mark laughed. “Alright, man. See you.”
“Bye...” Jeno’s tone was half resigned, half amused.
Mark turned to Hyuck with a sly smile. “Poor guy. He has to room with a SOPA kid.”
Hyuck giggled. “Oh well. Sucks to be him.”
Mark shrugged and scooped up Hyuck into a playful hug, carrying him toward their cabin.

Monday
“Alright, here are your cabins, guys. Go on now.” Mark shooed the students with a grin, then turned to his coworkers.
Taeyong raised a brow. “Do we really get our own cabins?”
Mark nodded proudly. “Yeah. They’re two-room cabins. No other school usually takes them, so they have to be a little nicer.”
Hyuck smiled, nostalgia softening his voice. “When we came here, there were only two-room cabins left.”
Jeno smirked, eyes twinkling with fond memory. “Luckily, Jaemin was left alone, and he became my roommate. That’s how our story started.”
Ten rolled his eyes but smiled warmly. “Adorable. Now, tell us our cabin numbers and hand over the timetables.”
Mark feigned offense. “Jeez, cranky much?”
Doyoung tapped his watch. “We have activities soon. Let’s hurry, Mister Lee.”
Mark chuckled. “Fine, fine.”
Hyuck turned to Mark, eyes gleaming. “Cabin 13? You really thought of everything.”
Mark’s grin turned sly. “Guess what we’re doing first.”
Hyuck narrowed his eyes suspiciously. “You didn’t...”
“Badminton, baby!” Mark declared, switching to perfect English — and Hyuck felt his heart do a little flip.
“You said that last time, too,” Hyuck teased, looking up at the older with a knowing smile.
Mark shrugged, trying to look innocent. “Coincidence! I swear. And don’t worry—I left out your least favorite activities and replaced them with fun stuff.”
Hyuck’s smile softened, eyes sparkling with gratitude. “You did that for me?”
Mark nodded, sincerity shining in his eyes. “Of course. You deserve it.”
Hyuck’s voice was quiet, touched. “Thank you.”
Mark laughed, teasing as he reached for the sport outfits. “Now, let’s get ready. You’re turning old, you know.”
Hyuck smirked, mock offended. “Well, you are the principal.”
“Point taken,” Mark laughed, pulling the younger along.
