Appearance: Vera is rather short at only 5'2 with a petite, if slightly bottom heavy body with thick, muscular legs. Being a vampire, her skin is ghostly pale and free of blemishes. She has scarlet eyes that flood with gold that wisps out of her pupils when near the presence of the demons she hunts. She has short, raven hair and swept back. Her face is sharp yet has a nonchalant feel about it. Vera covers herself in a tight, leather vest, cropped jacket normally left open, brown, tight pants, and over-knee boots with armored plates on the shins and black gloves. Over her back is a massive, wide, yet thin greatsword with a serrated spine that she can use with relative ease with her powers. On her hips are two engraved revolvers and a normal sized scimitar.

Personality and Background: For the most part, Vera is very laid back for a demon slayer. Rarely does anything, even taking heavy damage, strike her as worrisome. The only things that really bother her are "impossibilities" in the demon world, such as a human carrying and birthing a Hellchild, a baby demon, without complication; thinking it to have been "a stupid thought worshipped by cultists."
Along with her carefree attitude, Vera cares little for collateral damage if the job does not prohibit it and is more than willing to use the nearest civilian(s) if she's running low on blood; and was at point tempted to massacre a town square to expose one demon hiding among them. In her mind it's a job, and collateral is just a part of it. Also, she feels very little compassion or discrimination for her targets, killing a devil disguised as a priest in the middle of service, and nearly killing the aforementioned Hellchild in its infancy.

Vera was "born" in the country of Greyst (her world's equivalent to Germany). This, however, is not her first "incarnation." Formerly, she was the "Warrior Queen" of Greyst 124 years prior; always taking part in battles alongside her knights. It was there she decided to become a vampire, the first mortal to do so, to extend her rule and become a much more powerful combatant. However, for her dealings in the dark arts, a sin the Twin Goddesses hated more than blasphemy, Vera was doomed to walk the plains of the living until the end of days by the Goddess of Heaven, Vaultei. The Goddess of Hell, Leitra, on the other hand, made things fun by constantly sending demons into the mortal world to challenge Vera both on the battlefield as queen and in her current life as an actual demon hunter.

After being "killed" for being a vampire and causing the demon uprising by a rival, religious, nation, she remained dormant before returning as the demon hunting mercenary she is now. Without war to keep her power and bloodlust in check, and with the surge of demons seeming to slow Vera found it hard to control herself. One memory that used to haunt her is her uttering "I can control it" before slaughtering a family just to satisfy her thirst. After that, she took to being a merceneray to keep her "urges" under wraps until the current demon surge appeared. After a while, she got reacquainted to the bloodshed that came with the job and became the casual, happy character she is now.

Abilities: Vera is a very skilled combatant enhanced further by her own demonic powers such as heightened senses and strength. She is easily able to defend herself against a horde of lesser demons and even hold her own against a greater one.
As the amount of blood she absorbs increases so does her power. A large enough absorption can send her into a bloodrage that can easily kill or at least thin ouf a massive horde in a matter of seconds or butcher a Greater Demon, the highest in Hell's hierarchy just below the Demon Queen herself and her court. Or it can all be released in a colossal red explosion that can level cities, though it leaves her vulnerable to "holy" weapons that she would normally be unaffected by.

With her enhanced strength, she can easily swing her greatsword and use her powers to increase her densitity keep herself from tilting or falling over during a swing. Her sword can be imbued with her blood to be made longer, sharper, more serrated, whatever the occasion calls for. Also, her revolvers are conduits for her demon magic, and are able to fire without the need to reload as they domt fire real bullets, just energy. Though, should her powers fail her, she carries actual bullets and a much lighter scimitar.

She can heal from any wound inflicted by mortal weapons, even decapitation, dismemberment, or having her body blown apart with explosives. Though, incineration will take days to come back from.

Weaknesses:
°Specific materials such as "Goddess metal," steel sent by the goddesses themselves, can temporarily "disable" her powers if she is injured by them, making her vulnerable to mortal weapons for a period of time that depends on the severity of the injury. Another lethal strike with the same material will send her into her 124 year long sleep.

°Her true "blood supply" is effectively limitless due to blood absorbed in her past life. But her "operational blood supply," OBS, the blood she has access to, is limited and used up when using her powers or regenerating. It's still a massive supply, but wearing it down is possible, just impractical. A bloodrage is the easiest way to get rid of it as she'll passively vent bloodmist, wearing down her supply. The amount vented grows exponentially the longer she's in a rage. When worn down she'll be sent into another dormant state for 124 years.

°Her regeneration is fastest whenever it's manual. That way she can actually focus on it and speed up the process. An arm can easily be grown back in seconds as long as she can do it herself. A glancing hit from any goddess metal will cause any wound to heal on its own, a much, much slower process especially in the case of loss limbs and often results in painful scarring.
