Natsu was in gym class with her friend Keira, walking around the track, in which they usually talked.

"So, who's that black haired guy I saw you with?" Natsu smiled at the mention of the boy. "Oh, you mean Zane! He's my best friend."

Keira smirked, raising an eyebrow. "A best friend I have yet to meet, hmm?" Natsu's cheeks flushed in embarrassment. But she went on to tell her many stories, ranging from how they met to the time she found him stuck between two vending machines.

"He seems nice" Keira commented, to which Natsu nodded. "Mhm! Always doing things for others, lending his ear, or giving out advice..." Keira smiled softly as he friend went into her thoughts.

At lunch time, Keira requested for Natsu to introduce her to Zane. Seeing no reason to not do it, she complied, walking over to the shorter boy.

"Hey Zane, I'd like you to meet my friend Keira." She gestured to the girl, who waved at him. He smiled a bit and extended a hand to her in a handshake. "Nice to meet you."

She snickered a bit at his seriousness. "No need to shake my hand, man." He rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment. "Oh uh, sorry. Heheh."

Natsu smiled widely at the sight of her friends getting along. Keira then hugged him gently. "You're my new best friend. Okay?" Unsure of how to respond, he just let out a low "Uh..." as he stiffened slightly, not expecting the action.

Before she could even think, Natsu pulled Keira's arms off of Zane and hugged him tightly. "No! My bestie!" she hissed out. No, literally. She followed the words with a hiss. Keira and Zane both blinked in surprise, Natsu pouting as she glared at her friend. She then dragged him away to the cafeteria, leaving Keira by herself.

The girl smiled softly, a small giggle escaping her lips as she watched them.
