Azul: No you're supposed to mix the first potion with this one and then stir for around 5 minutes. Y/n? Y/n are you even listening???

Y/n was on the verge of crying, tomorrow is the final exam, yet there's nothing in her head. Right before Azul got the chance to scold Y/n, Floyd and Jade came in to check on them both.

Floyd: What's uppppppp my man~

He patted on Y/n's shoulder.

Jade: Is it just me or are you getting thinner each day?

Y/n: I haven't eaten a thing since this morning..

Azul: No wonder I kept hearing that weird sound.. I thought it was the potion.

Floyd and Jade bursted out laughing while Y/n's face is all red like a tomato. They went back to Mostro Lounge for dinner, it's on the house and Y/n was grateful though all she ever done was to cause Azul troubles. She attended NRC one year after Azul,  they're in the same dorm and share some of the similarities like hobby and business stuffs. But Y/n was not as bright comparing to her classmates, that's when Azul decided to give her a helping hand. He didn't want anyone to suffer the feeling of being bullied or isolated like he did. 
However there's one thing Azul didn't know about, Y/n's gender. It was not so obvious as she always dressed as a boy, until now, only Crowley figured that out, but he let her stayed due to an emergency circumstance, and she's considered beneficial to his research relating to human being. As for Y/n, she didn't know that Azul is starting to gain romantic feelings towards her. It was strange, at first he thought that it was only because he's hallucinating, but whenever Y/n's near, Azul heart skips a beat. The feelings got stronger day by day, Azul thought he couldn't hide it any longer. 

Y/n: Azul!

 Y/n's voice dragged him back to reality as he's been dazing for a good while.

Y/n: What's the matter? You seem exhausted.

Azul: N-nothing. 

Y/n: Was it because of me? I do make you explain that homework over and over again... I didn't realize that it would make you this tired.

Azul: No, you're overthinking, I was just thinking of something else.

Floyd: Which is?

Azul: A new way to expand our business.

Floyd: Boringggggggggggg.

Jade: Floyd, stop messing around and give me a hand.

 The night ends with Y/n returning to her own room, revising what Azul's been teaching her the past few weeks before actually facing the test. She set the alarm, changed into her sleeping clothes and laid on the bed. The next morning, Azul came over as an attempt to wish Y/n do well for her tests. The door wasn't locked, how careless of her, he thought. He stepped inside, of course that is after he had knocked the door, he had the required manner of a gentleman.

Azul: Y/n? 

There, he saw something he knew he shouldn't and quickly rushed outside.

Y/n: Azul, I heard some noises, what's wrong?!

Azul: I didn't see a thing, sorry!

 Leaving Y/n in question, Azul soon appeared in his class to attempt his first test. He couldn't fully focus on what's on the exam paper but rather what he saw this morning. Suddenly, he felt blue, so Y/n already got someone they are into. But sneaking a stranger into school is forbidden. Azul managed to finish the exam before the bell rang. Jade noticed the strange expression on his friend's face and told Floyd about it.

Jade: Azul, you didn't eat a thing on your dish.

Azul: H-huh?

Floyd: If you don't want to, here, lemme-

Jade: Floyd, no!

Floyd: Tch...

Azul: Sorry, I'm not in the mood for eating, finish the dish, Floyd.

Floyd: That's what I'm talking about... Hohohoho c'mere food~

Y/n was about to come sit next to Azul when he moved a bit to the left, backing away from Y/n.

Y/n: What's the matter?

She asked and looked at Jade. In returns, he only shook his head as a way of saying he doesn't know a thing why Azul reacts that way.

Floyd: Was the test hard?

Y/n: It was okay.

Azul suddenly slammed both his hands on the table and stared at Y/n.

Azul: You, me, botanical garden, now!

Although he was the one who wanted to see Y/n in the botanical garden, face to face, Azul was silent ever since the two got their private space.

Y/n: Azul?

 No respond

Y/n: Azul Ashengrotto! 

Azul: ADMIT IT YOURSELF!

Y/n: What? 

Azul: I give you one chance to tell the truth, Y/n, before I report the problem to the headmaster. 

Y/n gave Azul a confusing look. There was a moment of silence between them, still Azul got no clue that he was the one at fault.

Y/n: Admit what? Are you gonna tell me or..?

Azul: That you take a girl into our dorm!

Y/n: Woah, hold up, what girl?

Azul: I saw... some inappropriate stuff in your room, did you and that girl had- 

Y/n: NO! WHATEVER IS IN YOUR MIND, IT'S MOST LIKELY TO BE FAR FROM REALITY!

Azul paused for a moment as he was pretty much confused. So he misjudged the situation, but other than what he was thinking, what other reason can it be? Y/n let out a sigh, taking of the wig on her head. Azul was, in fact, pure shocked.

Azul: You're bald?

Y/n: No, oh my god... This is a wig, the thing on my head is a wig cap.

Azul: Ohhh.. Human thingy, got it.

Y/n: You don't get it, do you?

Azul: Get what?

Y/n never felt so ineffectual in her life before. She took off the wig cap, revealed her long hair.

Azul: A GIRL? Wait...

Azul reached for Y/n's hair as if he didn't believe what he's seeing through his eyes. He took a few strands of her hair to check if it was magic's work, but it was real. Azul doesn't know what to say, he stood there still, one part of him was mesmerized of how beautiful Y/n is. There was an uneasiness that couldn't be explained welling up in him. 

Y/n: Hello? You still there?

Azul: I'm sorry..

With just that, he left, as fast as a wind. The Leech brothers were looking for him the rest of that day while leaving Mostro Lounge to their newly recruited. They searched everywhere. The school campus, his favorite spots, until there was no place left to search for.

Floyd: What's gotten into him? I'm exhausted of all the "hide-and-seek" stuff.

Jade: Strange, indeed. The last one he met was Y/n.. I also searched at their place.

As the night falls, when everyone was sleeping soundly, Azul who's dressing in his ceremonial robe arrived in front of Y/n's door. He knocked. But then turned and was about to leave when the door creaked open.

Y/n: Azul?

Y/n was revising her homework so she stayed up a bit late than usual, judging from the wet hair, she just got out of her bath. 

Y/n: Aren't you gonna come in?

Azul plucked up his courage and got in. At first he tried his best to avoid her eyes, but in order to start the conversation properly and showed her his sincerity, he had to stop avoiding her gaze. 

Azul: Sorry for dressing like this and bothering you this late.

Y/n: I'm sure that doesn't matter. Where have you been, Floyd and Jade had been looking for you. They are worried sick.

Azul: I'll explain to them later. Y/n, I have something...

Y/n didn't say anything, she's still waiting for him to finish his sentence.

Azul: I like you. I mean.. love you.. 

Y/n suddenly got up from her seat and kneeled in front of him. Azul who's all shy from his confession, now got confused by what Y/n was doing. She placed her right palm onto his chest where his heart is, she can feel his rapid heart beats as his face has gotten all red.

Y/n: Just to check if you're kidding. Never got a propose before, especially in the middle of the night.

Azul: Such bad timing... my bad.. but..

Y/n pulled him in for a deep kiss, which made him blushed like crazy. 

Y/n: That is my answer, you're now officially my boyfriend.

Azul was so embarassed, fainted on her sofa right after what Y/n did. The next morning, he found himself sleeping next to her on her own bed with his hands around her waist.

Azul: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

His scream woke Y/n up, she rubbed her eyes, looking at the man who just fell on the cold floor.

Y/n: Morning...Such special way to alarm. Are you always this active in the morning...?

Azul: I didn't do anything, right?

Y/n: No.. It's just feel wrong to leave you on the sofa and I just have one blanket.

Azul: O-oh.. Thank you for being generous.

Y/n: It's funny to see you this... floundered. I thought you are just... Azul, strict, I mean.

Azul stood up, approached Y/n with both of this arms on the wall next to both side of her head.

Azul: I am. I just act this way in front of you.

Y/n gave him a peck on his forehead.

Y/n: Don't let the others know about that side of yours, I'll get jealous.

Floyd kicked open the door with a wand in his hand pointing towards Y/n.

Floyd: Release Azul, WITCH!

Jade ran inside, looked at the mess Floyd had done, and slapped his back really hard. 

Floyd: OUCH!

Azul immediately shield Y/n, hiding her behind his back as Floyd is lying on the floor, whining in pain.

Jade: Sorry for causing such trouble, as soon as I was informed you're here, I told Floyd.. Didn't know he'll do this to the poor door.

Azul: Right.. get out!

Floyd: Meanie.. Are you guys about to-

Azul: GET OUT!

Y/n popped her head up from Azul's shoulder to see if the twin is gone, Floyd definitely saw something, if not, the whole truth.

Azul: I can help you hide-

Y/n: No need to, I'm tired of hiding. Besides, I can't date you openly if I'm still in disguise.

Y/n turned Azul around just to hug him. In return, he hug her back.

Azul: Still, I'll punish you for lying to me since the beginning. Starting from next semester, I'll make you study ten times harder.

Y/n: You monster!

He pushed her onto the bed and wrapped her in the blanket. While Y/n was struggling to get out, Azul ran away.

Y/n: Just you wait, AZUL!
