~7 Movie Night

~Adrien Agreste~

When I had arrived at Marinette's, I didn't expect to see Chloe behind the counter in the bakery, in her pajamas and an aapron, looking through recipes.

"Chloe? What are you doing here?" I asked as I took off my hood, having been stalked my fans.

Chloe looked up. "Adrien! Hey!"

She didn't call me Adrikins. She really must be changing.

"Marinette invited me over for a sleepover, can you believe it? We're getting along so nicely! She said you might stop by,"

I smiled. "Marinette really is amazing. Speaking of which, where is she?"

"Why, she went to get fl-"

Suddenly, I heard a scream. A very familiar scream.

Me and Chloe looked at each other, as if we were thinking the same thing:

Marinette.

We ran, me the fastest, arriving just in time to see Marinette tumble down the stairs.

"Marinette!" I dove to her rescue, catching her in my arms.

"A-Adrien?! " She gasped before passing out.

"Marinette?" I asked.

Chloe kneeled next to me. "She must've hit her head."

I nodded, knowing hat i had to do. I lifted Marinette up bridal style, carrying her up to her room.

Chloe opened the trapdoor, helping me get Marinette through it. Once inside, I layed Marinette down on her chaise.

"I'll go get an ice pack," Chloe said, and I nodded, watching her climb through the trapdoor.

"Marinette, what were you thinking?" I shook my head. Plagg flew out of my shirt.

"Your girlfriend sure is clumsy, alright." He chuckled, and I shot him a glare. "You know Natalie's on her way. She'll be mad if your not out there when she arrives."

"I want to stay with Marinette to make sure she's okay. She'll understand,"

"I don't know, kid. What if-"

The trap door opened, and Plagg dove back into my shirt.

"Adrien? Were you talking to yourself?" Chloe asked, handing me the ice pack, which was wrapped in a towel.

"Uh, yeah. Sorry, I'm just super worried. Natalie is coming to pick me up in a few minutes, but I want to stay here with Marinette, make sure she's okay."

"She'll understand, I'm sure." Chloe shrugged. "If she doesn't, at least Marinette and I still get to have our girls night."

She stuck her tounge out at me, and I laughed.

"I'm just worried, Chloe. What if she has a concussion or-"

Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I saw Marinette's mini projector mysteriously fly upward, closing itself."

Me and Chloe looked at each other as if to say: What the hell was that?

I shrugged, deciding Marinette was more important right now.

I didn't see the blurred red figure, but Chloe did.

"What was that?!" Chloe gasped, and I turned.

"What was what?" I looked around the room, but nothing was there.

Chloe shook her head. "Sorry. It must've been a trick of the light."

I could tell Chloe was hiding something, but, again, I shrugged it off.

I placed the ice pack on Marinette's forehead, throwing my jacket over her shoulders to keep her warm. I sat next to her on the chaise, holding her hand.

Chloe sat cross-legged on the floor, looking through Marinette's movie collection and glancing at the desk drawers every now and then.

After a while, Marinette started to stir.

"Mmm..." She mumbled, turning her head. She opened her eyes, sitting up and looking around. "...what happened?"

"You passed out,"

She jumped. "Eek! Adrien, you scared me!"

I smiled apologeticly. "Sorry."

"I passed out?"

Chloe nodded. "You hit your head when you fell down the stairs. Also, your covered in flour."

Marinette blushed, obviously embarassed. "Well, I feel fine now."

"No, Mari! You might have a concussion! You need to lay down!"

"Adrien, I'm fi-" She had tried to get up, but wavered, dizzy, holding her head.

"Oop," Marinette sat back down again. "Yeah, I should lay down."

I shook my head. "Marinette, why did you think that you could drag a bag of flour that big down the stairs by yourself? You should've asked Chloe for help!"

Marinette sighed. "I don't know, Adrien."

"You need to rest, okay? Forget baking. You, me, and Chloe could bake later."

"Finally, I'm not being ignored."

Marinette nods. "Fine, Doctor Agreste."

I wiggled my eyebrows. "What can I say, m'lady? "

Marinette froze, blushing.

Oh god, since when do i call her 'm'lady'?!

"And now I'm being ignored again." Chloe sighed. "Since Marinette has to rest, why don't we all watch a movie?"

"That's a great idea, Chloe!" Marinette smiled.

"Are my girls finally getting along?" I teased.

They smiled in response.

Just then, I heard a car honk outside.

Marinette frowned. "Is that your chaffuer?"

I nodded. "Don't worry, I'll just tell Natalie what happened and I'll stay here with you. Besides, it'll be fun to have a break. I was probably gonna be alone tonight anyway."

I exited through the trapdoor, hearing Chloe say something to Marinette as I left, and I heard her laughing as Marinette sqeauked and threw a pillow, Chloe's laughter muffling.

I walked out of the bakery, Natalie standing outside the limo.

"Ready to go?"

"Actually, I'd like to stay. Marinette fell down the stairs, I think she may have a concussion. Her parents aren't home and won't be for a while, so will it be okay for me to stay and keep an eye on her?"

Natalie thought for a moment, sighing. "Very well. I'll tell your father."

"Thank you, Natalie!" I smiled, hugging her.

"Uh, your welcome, Adrien. If her parents come home late, you can stay here and just go to school right away in the morning."

I grinned. "Thank you again, Natalie. Say hello to my father for me!"

"Of course, Adrien." Natalie got back in the car and left.

When the car turned the corner, I pumped my fist in the air. "YES!"

As I walked up the stairs to Marinette's room, what Chloe had said earlier popped up in my mind.

"That's it. I ship you two lovebirds,"

~Chloe Bourgeis~

I could have sworn I saw a kwami earlier.

But that's impossible; why would Marinette have a kwami?

And a red one, that is?

A thought had came to me, but I set it aside. It was absurb, but very possible. I'll have to ask her sometime soon. I'm probably right.

Right now, it's girls night.

Oh, and Adrien's here, too.

So it's more of a movie night, if you know what I mean.

Adrien was nice enough to go make some popcorn, even though he never made popcorn before. Marinette wanted to help, but I promised to show him the ropes. And bring her some M&M's.

While Adrien was popping the popcorn, I asked him about Marinette (hey, I'm an inside man... women... whatever).

"Marinette?" He questioned.

I rolled my eyes. "God, you're dense. I mean do you like her? And don't go playing the 'just a friend' card again, Agreste!"

Adrien turned red. "I... uh..."

"Well?! " I crossed my arms.

"Fine. Maybe I do like her..."

I made a noise, joyful. "I knew it!"

Adrien gave me a look. "Chloe, keep your voice down!"

"Aw, does lover boy want his affection to be a secret? Well, Adrien, your not very good at hiding it. It's obviously she lo- likes you back."

Adrien froze. "W-What?"

"Nothing, nothing... are you done with that popcron yet? You can't keep Marinette waiting- oops! I meant we can't keep Marinette waiting." I smirked, knowing I got him.

"C-Chloe! Don't you dare tell Marinette! And w-what do you mean she likes me back?!"

I sighed, patting him on the shoulder. "Adrien, Adrien, Adrien... what are we ever going to do with you?"

I left him standing there, confused.

"Am I missing something here?" He shook his head, pouring the popcorn into the bowl.

When I opened the trap door, I must've looked crazy or something because Marinette gave me a look.

"Uh, Chloe? Did you eat a lemon or something?" She asked.

"No, I just-"

Just then, I saw another blurr of red.

Okay, that's it. I'm asking Marinette.

"Hey, Marinette, are you-"

Adrien came out of the trap door, grinning as he held a bowl of slightly burnt popcorn. "Popcorns ready!"

Marinette smiled. "Thank you, Adrien." She took a piece, popping it in her mouth. "Mmm, good job! Now, what were you asking, Chloe?"

"Uh... are you going on the school ski trip this Saturday? It's really fun, it's all weekend and you stay over night at a luxury resort! It's really fun, I go every year."

What? I was actually planning to ask her about the trip! I- oh. Yeah, I can't ask her in front of Adrien, she'll freak out, and that's the last thing Marinette needs right now.

"I thought the trip was only for rich people,"

"Oh, about that... I lied when we were younger because I was so excited and stuck-up. It might've came out wrong. Sorry. The school pays for it, expenses and all. You just have to bring your own skis."

Marinette thought for a moment. "Yeah, I'll think about going. Only if Adrien goes, though. I don't want to run into Lila and not have him there."

Adrien laughed. "I'm right here, ya know. And of course I'll go, Marinette, anything for you."

They smiled and stared at each other, and I rolled my eyes, grinning as I reached to pick up the movies Marinette had picked out while me and Adrien were downstairs.

I clapped my hands, startling the lovebirds.

"Hey, lovebirds, what movie do you want to watch?" I asked, laughing at their red faces.

"Um, I'm fine with anything." Marinette smiled, even though she was the one who picked out all romantic comedies.

"Me too," Adrien smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck.

"10 Things I Hate About You it is, then," I popped the movie in, grabbing a handful of popcorn from the lovebirds as the movie began.

"Wait, Chloe, wheres my M&M's?"

Towards the end of the movie, I saw that Marinette and Adrien had fallen asleep, all cuddled up together.

I smiled at them, turning off the movie and grabbing my pillow. "Those two are adorable," I smiled, laying down.

As I drifted off to sleep, I heard a small voice speaking.

"Gah! Adrien! You forgot about... me... agh! Stop sqiushing... me... urp... TIKKI!"

I froze, eyes wide.

Who (or what) is speaking, and who is TikkI?

I slowly turned over, pretending to be asleep in time to see a small black cat-like creature trying to get push himself out of being stuck under Adrien's arm.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a blurr of red, just like earlier, only this time it looked more like a bug then a blurr.

Tikki hushed the black kwami. "Plagg! Your gonna wake them up!"

She pulled hime out, and he snickered. "Oh, please, nothing could wake those two lovebugs up."

They laughed.

"It's so good seeing you again, SugarCube." Plagg wiggled his eyebrows, and Tikki laughed.

"In your dreams, Stinky Sock."

I stood up silently, pointing at them.

"Y-You're kwamis!" I gasped, startling them. Plagg hissed in surprise, Tikki freezing in place. "What-?! How-?!" I fainted.

Tikki and Plagg looked at each other, both thinking the same thing:

Shit.
